Royal Family Rallies Around Prince William, Signaling Special Event for Kate Middleton?

Social media is abuzz with “special signals” hinting at an upcoming momentous occasion. Many speculate that this will be Kate Middleton’s moment to shine in a new role, with her husband and the royal family’s full support.

Lately, several close royal family members have made appearances, showing their support for Prince William. Most notably, Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Philip, attended a prestigious event alongside William. This is considered a rare occurrence, signifying the Queen’s special attention and trust in her youngest son.

Next, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla appeared at an awards ceremony. The couple praised William, emphasizing his crucial role in the monarchy’s future.

Princess Eugenie, William’s cousin, also posted a heartwarming picture with her brother on her social media page, along with a meaningful birthday message.

These gestures have led many to believe that William will be taking on a more prominent position within the monarchy, possibly as the heir apparent. However, others suggest that this is the royal family’s way of supporting Kate Middleton for an upcoming special project or event.

Kate Middleton is known for her poised, elegant demeanor and her ability to blend seamlessly into the royal family. She is also actively involved in charitable and social endeavors, earning the public’s admiration.

Many believe that Kate will play a pivotal role in modernizing the monarchy and bringing its image closer to the public. Therefore, the royal family’s support for William could be a stepping stone for Kate to shine and establish her position in the future.

Currently, official details about this special event remain undisclosed. Nevertheless, the positive “signals” from the British Royal Family have fans eagerly anticipating.

This could very well be Kate Middleton’s moment to make her mark in a new role, contributing to the monarchy’s image in the public eye.

DAVID Beckham has been made a charity ambassador by King Charles — giving his knighthood credentials a boost.

The royal appointment was announced yesterday, with the thrilled former England football captain telling of his “excitement” at teaming up with the monarch.

A new photograph of the pair laughing helplessly together at the King’s estate — with Becks dressed like a country gent — was also released.

The move comes after The Sun on Sunday revealed last month how the pair bonded over a jar of honey during a recent private meeting at the monarch’s Gloucestershire residence.

Ex-Manchester United ace Becks, 49, surprised the King, 75, last year with a jar of his homemade honey then chatted about their passion for beekeeping.

Nature-lover Charles was also impressed by Beckham’s knowledge and passion for the countryside.

Now the father-of-four has been formally appointed as an ambassador of The King’s Foundation — the monarch’s charity founded in 1990.

A source said: “The King and David Beckham have really bonded over their similar interests.

“This is a massive thing for him and he’s delighted. He is really passionate about his new role.”

The Foundation focuses on “creating better communities where people, places and the planet can coexist in harmony”.

Charles invited Beckham to Highgrove to learn more about the charity, and the former footie star met woodworking and embroidery students.

Tours of the grounds help to fund workshops and courses in traditional skills and crafts.

A new education centre has also been built which provides training in traditional industries such as woodcarving, stonemasonry and textiles.

Beckham, who lives in the Cotswolds with his fashion designer wife Victoria and his family, said in a statement: “I’m excited to be working with The King’s Foundation and to have the opportunity to help raise awareness of the charity’s work.

“I’ve always been keen to help young people to expand their horizons and I’m particularly looking forward to supporting the Foundation’s education programmes and its efforts to ensure young people have greater access to nature.

“Having developed a love for the countryside I’m also on a personal mission to learn more about rural skills which is so central to the Foundation’s work.

“It was inspiring to hear from The King about the work of His Majesty’s Foundation during my recent visit to Highgrove Gardens — and compare beekeeping tips.”

Beckham presented the King with his honey gift last May at a British fashion awards event in central London.

And the present seemed to delight Charles, who has beehives at his estates.

We look forward to working with David over the coming months and years, to share the good work of the Foundation with a wider audience

Kristina Murrin, Chief Executive Of The King’s Foundation

Beckham turned to beekeeping during the Covid lockdowns and built a £500 hive at his country home.

In October last year The Sun revealed how he had accepted an invitation to dine with King Charles.

The meeting helped the monarch “suss” out the star and they discussed him becoming a celebrity ambassador for the charity.
Beckham had served a similar role for Prince Harry’s Invictus Games.

But he has since distanced himself from the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan after they moved to the States and trashed the Royal Family.

    What is King’s Ambassador

THE King’s Foundation ambassadors support the charity in its vision, mission and strategy.

David Beckham will help raise awareness of its work and support the education programmes.

He will also seek to ensure young people have greater access to nature.

Sources say it’s an “open secret” that the former Real Madrid midfielder wants to become “Sir” David Beckham.

He was made an OBE for services to football 20 years ago while former Spice Girl wife Victoria, 50, was given the same honour in 2017 for her work in the fashion industry.

Beckham is a renowned royalist and famously joined the massive queue to see Queen Elizabeth lying in state in Westminster Hall after her death in September 2022.

Buckingham Palace is believed to be hoping that he will bring some of his global appeal and star power to the operation.

Kristina Murrin, chief executive of The King’s Foundation, said: “We are delighted to welcome David Beckham to The King’s Foundation family as an ambassador.

“We look forward to working with David over the coming months and years, to share the good work of the Foundation with a wider audience.”

‘Tears’ of Andy on work axe

    By Scarlet Howes

PRINCE Andrew was left in “tears” after the King made it clear there was no way for him to return as a working royal, it has been claimed.

The conversation happened at Birkhall on the Balmoral estate, weeks before their mother, Queen Elizabeth II, died in 2022.

News of the chat comes as it is reported His Majesty is pushing for Andrew to leave Royal Lodge, according to The Times.

He has been given the option of moving to Frogmore Cottage.

But he has rejected the move, despite having to maintain the 30-room mansion as part of his 75-year lease.

The King currently pays Andrew’s private security bill, since his police protection was withdrawn after he quit public duties amid the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

He also funds a living allowance, thought to be in excess of £1million annually.

    Football booted by monarch

    EXCLUSIVE by Matt Wilkinson

THE King has ended more than a century of royal tradition by giving football the boot from his list of patronages.

The monarch, 75, a Burnley supporter, has relinquished around 200, including the English, Scottish and Welsh FAs.

They were among up to 1,000 vacated by the late Queen on her death in 2022.

She often visited Wembley early in her reign and presented England captain Bobby Moore with the World Cup in 1966.

His Majesty’s footie decision is viewed by some as stark, given his decision to take on other sport patronages, like the MCC.

A palace source said: “Being patron is not the only way the Royals can engage with organisations and show support — and it’s possible other members of the family may take on patronages.”

    Buckingham Palace declined to comment.

Late Queen’s favourite biscuit was indulgent – and you may have never heard of it before

A chef who worked privately for the Queen for 11 years has revealed her ultimate favourite biscuit treats.

When one thinks of Queen Elizabeth II, images of regal elegance, historical significance, and profound grace come to mind. Yet, even the reigning monarchs have their simple pleasures, and for the late Queen, one of those pleasures was a well-made biscuit.

Queen Elizabeth II was known to enjoy a variety of biscuits, with a few standing out as her particular favourites. These biscuits were often enjoyed with her afternoon tea – a tradition steeped in British culture.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine, private chef to the Queen for 11 years, Darren McGrady revealed the late Queen’s favourite biscuits: “When I was there… Chocolate Bath Olivers.”

He also revealed: “She is absolutely a chocoholic. Anything we put on the menu that had chocolate on, she would choose, especially chocolate perfection pie.”

Chocolate Olivers are made by the exclusive brand Huntley & Palmer, and tin currently costs £8.49.

The brand describes the biscuits as follows: “Rich, dark chocolate, generously enrobed around a crisp slow-baked biscuit Chocolate Olivers are the ultimate biscuit indulgence, made using a patented recipe from the 1930’s, which includes hops and malt, with the thickest, richest dark chocolate.”

Huntley and Palmers say John Lennon of the band The Beatles once refused to be paid in cash, “preferring Chocolate Olivers instead”.

These biscuits were part of the everyday moments that grounded Queen Elizabeth amidst the grandeur of royal life.

Darren, the former royal family chef, also once shared a delicious recipe he used to make for the late Queen’s afternoon tea during her stay at Balmoral – Scottish shortbread.

Darren revealed the kitchen used a lot of local produce from the grounds in their cooking to make the biscuits, as the castle has its own vegetable garden.

With her biscuits, Queen Elizabeth was said to prefer her cup of Earl Grey with no sugar and the occasional drop of milk. Darren has also described the late Queen’s sweet tooth in the past, noting that she also enjoys the occasional dessert.

He also revealed that Her Majesty “never was a foodie” and preferred traditional British and French cuisine.

Unlike her husband, Prince Philip, she wasn’t a fan of trying new ingredients and would often rather stick to the same meals each week.

In a series of YouTube Q&A videos, Darren explained that when he was her personal chef, between 1982 and 1993, the monarch would consume breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

Princess Kate’s hair incident on royal outing prompted concerned security guard to step in

Princess Kate seemed unfazed when a keen fan got a little too close for comfort, although security was ready to respond.

Princess Kate’s luscious brunette locks are the envy of royal fans around the world, and are one of the features most associated with her.

However, her hair almost led to a serious incident last year when she and Prince William went on a walkabout in Windsor and an overenthusiastic fan from America wanted to pose for a selfie with Kate.

The Princess happily went in for the picture but the woman got a little too excited and ended up grabbing a handful of Kate’s hair, but in a flash, a security guard was on hand.

Another soon approached to assess the situation, but Kate seemed unbothered and carried on meeting and greeting members of the public.

After the photo she graciously said to the fan “nice to meet you”, and the woman quickly apologised to the security guard as the incident blew over.

During the same walkabout another particularly heartwarming moment occurred when a crying little girl was comforted by Kate, The Mirror reported.

The girl’s day no doubt improved when the Princess gave her a long hug and crouched down to chat with her for a while, making sure she felt better.

Kate has been away from royal engagements since the start of the year as she is currently undergoing preventative chemotherapy, having announced her cancer diagnosis in March.

She will be unable to attend rehearsals for Trooping the Colour, on June 8, and is not likely to attend the actual event alongside the other royals on June 15.

As Colonel of the Irish Guards, tradition would see her take the salute at the Colonel’s Review, the name of the rehearsal held prior to the event itself.

Lieutenant General James Bucknall, KCB, CBE is set to step in for the Princess and shared a sweet message for her when news broke that she would be missing out.

The Let Gen said in sympathy: “We totally understand and our thoughts and best wishes are with Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales.”

He also told The Sun: “We are even more determined to make the Colonel’s Review the best yet for her. We are so proud to have The Princess of Wales as the Colonel of the Irish Guards.”

King Charles’s official birthday parade will be held on June 15 and is one of the biggest military ceremonies of the year featuring around 1,600 parading soldiers, 400 musicians, 200 horses, finishing with an RAF flypast over Buckingham Palace.

King Charles III has launched a new special Coronation tipple, ahead of the historic event set to take place in May. The Royal Windsor Pink Gin has been crafted in time for the big day and, according to royalcollectionshop.co.uk, it has been made using “hand-picked raspberries from across the Royal Estate”.

The Pink Gin, which launched on February 17, is “spiced with piquant pink peppercorns and warming cassia bark, while orange peel and rose petal add a subtle sweetness”.

According to the official Royal Collection Shop website, the hand-picked raspberries are then “infused into the spirit, lending the gin a fruity finish and vibrant pink hue”.

Alongide official photographs of the drink, MyLondon royal journalist Rebecca Russell tweeted: “The Royal Collection Trust have released images of the pink gin they have recently launched ahead of His Majesty’s coronation in May.

“The drink is infused with raspberries grown on the Royal Estate in Windsor.”

According to the website, shipping is only available in the UK, Germany, New Zealand and Australia.

The drink retails for £38 for a 70cl bottle and is available from the Royal Collection shops in Windsor, London and Edinburgh.

All profits made from the sales will go to the registrated charity, The Royal Collection Trust.

The new gin would have gained the Queen’s seal of approval, with the late monarch’s favourite cocktail said to be a gin and Dubonnet.

The late Queen, who died in September aged 96, reportedly enjoyed the tipple just before lunch.

Mr Hanson said that it is a “refreshingly fruity drink with a slightly bitter edge”.

Dubonnet, which is pronounced Dubonnay, is a wine-based aperitif.

It has a 15 percent alcohol volume, with a blend of fortified wine, herbs and spices.

As well as the late Queen, the Queen Mother, who died in 2002, was also a fan of the cocktail.

  • Kate’s sapphire ring ‘not just decoration’ as gem part of ‘superstitious’ royal history

Kate’s sapphire ring ‘not just decoration’ as gem part of ‘superstitious’ royal history

EXCLUSIVE: The Royal Family has been linked to several superstitions over the years, including some affecting their choice of jewellery.

Kate, the Princess of Wales’s 12-carat blue sapphire engagement ring is “not just for decoration” but could have helped the royal secure a successful match with Prince William, a jewellery expert suggested. The ring was personally picked by Princess Diana after then-Prince Charles proposed and was initially inherited by Prince Harry, who gave it to his older brother to propose to Catherine in 2011. Steven Baker said the sapphire has long been included in a lengthy list of stones believed to have “mystical powers” capable of influencing their wearer’s life.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, the vvs Jewelry founder said: “Princess Diana’s (now Kate Middleton’s) engagement ring has a stunning sapphire, but it’s not just for decoration.

“Royal jewellery has shone with gemstones that possess ‘Mystical Powers’ since the Middle Ages. Mainly sapphires are renowned for strengthening fidelity and commitment as well as bringing stability and prosperity to the financial situation.

“On her wedding day, the superstitious Queen Victoria also wore a sapphire.”

Victoria came to the throne in an era steeped with superstitious beliefs, some of which continue to be held by members of the Royal Family.

Raissa Bailey told Express.co.uk royals have long tended to be superstitious and jewellery pieces they wear – or do not wear – to this day show their commitment to the legends.

The Creative Director of the Bradford Exchange said: “The superstitious nature of many royals and the gems they adorn dates back to medieval times when the stones were believed to hold certain properties or characteristics.

“Rubies are long associated with protection, sapphires with devotion, and emeralds with prosperity.”

Indeed, modern royals have tended to avoid donning the Koh-i-Noor diamond both because of the controversy surrounding its arrival into the British Royal Family and due to the misfortune said to affect its owners.

Queen Victoria, Queen Alexandra and Queen Mary all outlived either their husbands or one of their children. Queen Elizabeth II refused to wear it citing the diamond amid an ongoing dispute with India.

Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert, is linked to yet another piece of royal jewellery believed to haunt its owners, the Hesse Strawberry Leaf Tiara.

Albert helped design the headdress as a wedding gift to his second-eldest daughter, Princess Alice, to Grand Duke Louis of Hesse and by Rhine but died shortly before the ceremony,

Alice brought the tiara with her when she moved to Darmstadt, where she died of diphtheria 17 years to the day after her father’s death.

The British princess contracted the disease while tending to her children, including her daughter Princess Marie who died with her.

Two more daughters, Empress Alexandra of Russia and Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna, died during the Russian Revolution in 1918.

The Strawberry Tiara was later inherited by Alice and Louis’s eldest son, Ernest Louis, who lost his eldest daughter Elizabeth,8, in 1909 of typhoid fever.

His second wife, Princess Eleonor of Solms-Hohensolms-Lich, died in a plane crash in November 1937 while travelling to a wedding in London.

The couple’s eldest son and heir, Georg Donatus, and his wife Princess Cecilie of Greece and Denmark, one of Prince Philip’s older sisters, also died in the crash alongside their sons Ludwig and Alexander. Cecilie, who was pregnant at the time, is believed to have given birth before the crash as the stillborn baby was found in the wreckage.

The tiara is believed to have been inherited by Georg Donatus and Princess Cecilie’s only remaining child, Princess Johanna.

Johanna was adopted by her uncle Prince Louis and his wife Margaret Campbell Geddes, whose wedding her parents were flying to.

But the young princess only survived her family for a few years as she succumbed to meningitis in 1939.

The Strawberry Leaf Tiara was then passed to Margaret Campbell Geddes but she never wore it. The piece has been exhibited on several occasions and is believed to be in possession of the Hesse Family Foundation.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been warned that many Americans agree with the “accuracy” of portrayal in the satirical comedy South Park.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry should be “very concerned” that their popularity is plummeting, according to a royal experts, as American media begins to pick the Duke and Duchess apart. The raunchy, and often satirical show South Park was the latest US household name to savage the Sussexes, depicting the pair as a whiny couple who loudly beg for privacy.

The episode follows the Prince and Princess of Canada, however the veil is thin. The prince has Harry’s red hair and has written a book titled “Waaagh” while the princess wears a dusky pink outfit similar to the outifit Meghan wore at the 2018 Trooping of the Colour.

The episode repeatedly slams the Sussexes, or rather the Prince and Princess of Canada, with one of the main characters, Stan, branding the cartoon equivalents a “dumb prince and his stupid wife”.

However, more than just being publicly mocked, royal experts have warned the Sussexes that the tide may be turning on them in the US as they become the butt of the joke.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said the Sussexes should be “very concerned” after South Park “went for the jugular”.

‘Oxymoronic’ Prince Harry ‘can’t resist’ limelight despite ‘visceral hatred’ of media

Prince Harry has been labelled “remarkably oxymoronic” after his very public airing of grievances about the Royal Family in Spare.

Royal expert Camilla Tominey, who has covered the Firm for nearly two decades, noted that for someone who “hates” the media, Harry sure spends a lot of time in the spotlight.

    Read more HERE.

“Harry and Meghan are obsessed with being in control of the narrative and we’ve recently seen them attack the Royal Family over a period of weeks when they knew the response would be silence,” Mr Fitzwilliams told MailOnline.

He added that “the sight of a cartoon version of Harry and Meghan storming off a television show after the interviewer criticizes them, chanting ‘we want privacy’…is hilarious”.

“When they move to South Park, their neighbour Kyle says ‘Its seriously driving me crazy. I’m sick of hearing about them. I can’t get away from them’. I think he speaks for many millions,” the commentator added.

This sentiment appears to have been reflected publicly. Last month, a Newsweek poll following the release of Spare showed the Sussexes popularity falling off a cliff in the United States.

Other experts have echoed Mr Fitzwilliams’ comments about Meghan and Harry. US based GB News royal correspondent Kinsey Schofield claimed “people are tired” of the Sussexes.

“What they’re saying is, these two are not sincere people, they say that they want their privacy while going on every television show, writing books, doing six hours of Netflix,” she told the outlet.

She added: “They broke it down and said….they’re not very likeable…people are tired of them.”

At one point in the show, the Prince and Princess of Canada go on Good Morning Canada to promote the Prince’s book, Waaagh. The couple come on the show with large banners reading “we want privacy” and “stop looking at us”.

The host asks the prince if, by reporting on the cartoon royal family, he hasn’t become a journalist himself, a profession he despises.

“We just want to be normal people – all this attention is so hard,” the prince replies. When challenged by the host, the couple storms off of the set.

Mr Fitzwilliams claimed their is a “poetic justice” in the way the Sussexes were portrayed with “such accuracy” on South Park.

“Yes, the humour is cruel, but so is their behaviour. They demand to be taken seriously and deserve to made fun of,” he added.

All episodes of South Park are availible in the UK on the streaming service Paramout+.

Queen Camilla sees boost to popularity despite recent spate of vicious trolling

The Queen Consort has been targeted by vicious trolls after testing positive for Covid earlier this week.

The Queen Consort has been handed a boost in popularity, despite recent trolling, after a new poll indicated that the public are viewing the 75-year-old in a more positive light for her royal role alongside the King. The People Polling, conducted by GB News, asked whether members of the public have a favourable or unfavourable view of King Charles III’s wife.

The poll showed that 33 percent were in favour of the Queen Consort, whereas 30 percent gave an unfavourable answer.

Among 18–24-year-olds, Camilla’s net rating is -20. However, among over 65-year-olds, it is +18.

This is significant because the older age group are more likely to harbour resentment over her affair with Charles when he was married to the late Princess Diana.

In terms of a political stance, Camilla’s net rating is +34a for Conservative voters compared to -21 for Labour.

Harry and Meghan branded ‘laughing stock’ in US after featuring in new South Park episode

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become a “laughing stock” in the US following their appearance in the new episode of South Park, said one royal commentator.

Nile Gardiner branded the depiction of the “prince of Canada and his wife’s” quest to find privacy as “highly accurate”. The animated satire does not name the couple but it appears to poke fun at Harry’s tell-all memoir and the pair’s various media pursuits.

The polling result will be a relief to Camilla and Buckingham Palace alike as her popularity has been of keen importance to Charles over the past few decades.

Polling expert Professor Matt Goodwin said: “These numbers will be a relief in Buckingham Palace.

“We find that, overall, Camilla has a positive net rating among the British public, which underlines what a long way she has come in the public mindset since the 1990s.

“This is especially the case among older voters who are far more supportive than the younger voters from Gen-Z.”

Earlier this week, Camilla was forced to cancel her royal engagements for the remainder of the week due to testing positive for Covid for a second time.

In the vicious trolling, some people suggested that Camilla had come down with a sexually transmitted disease, with one user writing: “royal mistresses usually get syphilis don’t they?”.

Other users suggested that Camila had been struck with “whorenorroea” or “mad cow disease”.

One user also, pretending to show sympathy, compared the 75-year-old to a horse, writing: “hoped they called a vet or whoever treats horses”.

Tweeting after the news of Covid broke, Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu wrote: “Buckingham Palace must’ve known Camilla had Covid but instead of telling the truth, gaslit us with ‘seasonal illness” like we are stupid.

“There’s nothing seasonal about Covid so why lie. So unnecessary. If Royal Family can mislead on this, what else are they misleading us on?”

However, Shola’s tweet was met with backlash after some royal fans deemed that the test could have confirmed Covid after the statement was released.

One user, named Gracie, wrote: “Because maybe she hadn’t taken a test this morning when she felt ill with cold/flu symptoms. Then once she tested they announced it.”

The Queen Consort will be crowned, alongside the King, in the historic ceremony for King Charles III’s Coronation in May.

  • Kate and Will are raising Princess Charlotte with the ‘expectation she will get a job’

Kate and Will are raising Princess Charlotte with the ‘expectation she will get a job’

Princess Charlotte is the only daughter of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are reportedly raising Princess Charlotte with the “expectation she will get a job” as, unlike her elder brother Prince George, she won’t be a working member of the Royal Family. The path that is being carved for the young Princess will be in keeping with King Charles III’s plans for a slimmed down monarchy.

Writing in his Palace Confidential newsletter, the Daily Mail’s diary editor Richard Eden wrote: “From what I hear, the Prince and Princess of Wales want Charlotte, aged seven, to grow up with the expectation that she will get a job and not be a full-time royal.”

He explained that Charlotte’s father, Prince William, also shares Charles’ views on a slimmed down monarchy.

Opposed to these plans, in his newsletter, Mr Eden said: “Personally, I would prefer to see a larger Royal Family.”

He added that this will allow them to carry out “more official engagements” and meet “more members of the public.”

He added: “If Charlotte is to get a job and not be an active member of “The Firm”, she needs to be ready to step into the breach, if needed.”

In his bombshell memoir, which was released last month, Prince Harry recalled his memories at being known as the ‘spare’ to Prince William, who, as the elder of the two brothers, was the ‘heir’.

The commonly known phrase, ‘the heir and the spare’, is often used to describe a monarch and their younger sibling.

Prince Harry recounted the tension that being the younger brother of an heir bought about.

Writing in Spare, the 38-year-old claimed that he knew he was there to give William an organ donation, if needed.

He said: “I was brought into this world in case something happened to Willy.”

He claimed that this was made “abundantly clear” from a young age and was “regularly reinforced” throughout his life as a royal.

As well as George and Charlotte, Prince William and Kate also share a third child, and second son, Prince Louis.

The couple married in 2011, before welcoming George in July 2013.

This was followed by Princess Charlotte in May 2015 and Prince Louis in April 2018.
