Will’s gesture shows ‘attraction’ to Kate but may be ‘mistaken’ for something else – claim

A body language expert spotted a moment between Kate and William where the Prince displayed a gesture of “attraction” – although it could easily be “mistaken” for simply looking around, they claimed.

Jesús Enrique Rosas – aka The Body Language Guy – shared an important insight about Kate Middleton and Prince William on his YouTube channel. The body language expert spotted a subtle gesture of “attraction” the Prince made towards his wife.

Six months ago, on September 28, 2021, Kate and William stepped out at the “No Time To Die” World Premiere at Royal Albert Hall.

Gracing the red carpet, William looked dapper in a velvet suit jacket, while Kate stole the show in a gold Jenny Packham gown.

The royal dup walked side by side, with the body language expert picking up on one brief but telling gesture between the couple.

The Body Language Guy noted that William and Kate look at each other “every time they can”.

But it was one particular look that can tell royal fans a lot about their relationship, according to the expert.

He referenced a moment that “everyone spotted”, when William appeared to bite his lip and glance down at his wife.

Jesús said: “This kind of gaze can be mistaken for just lowering your eyes or drifting your eyes away.

“But the trick is to spot that in this instance, William’s eyes make a full stop on Kate’s neck and a little bit lower.”

The Body Language Guy claimed that “needless to say, this is a display of attraction”.

In addition to this powerful look between the royal duo, the expert observed that the couple’s body language is often in “sync”.

He explained that “this is something that happens naturally in healthy relationships”.

Even when a couple has “different personality traits” or “different attitudes”, their body language gestures will “blend” over their time together.

When it comes to Kate and William, Jesús noticed a similarity in “rhythm of gestures, poise and even similar strides”.

The expert assured royal fans that even when people have had body language training, they do retain their personality.

“It’s not that you become a robot but more that you learn how to act properly.

“That’s why even if they are not allowed public displays of affection, you can still spot the way William and Kate look at each other every time they can.”

Commenting on The Body Language Guy’s video, royal fans commented on the happy couple.

YouTube user Asiatic American Flower stated: “William looked so proud of Catherine at 007 Premiere. Their eyes sparkled when they look at each other. They are so in sync and fall in love for each other.”

User BarHarborSunrise added: “What a knockout. William looked in awe of her grace and beauty. She doesn’t walk, she glides! What a lovely example of the Royal Family and lovers all over the world.”

PRINCESS Kate reportedly being “out and about” is a positive sign she’ll be back to public life in no time, a royal expert has claimed.

The Princess of Wales shocked the nation after revealing she’d been undergoing treatment for cancer in a video address from Windsor on March 22.

Kate, 42, said her health battle was a “huge shock” to her following further tests after her abdominal surgery in January.

The mum-of-three said the family now needs “time, space and privacy” while she completes her treatment.

Kate, who is undergoing chemotherapy after the cancer diagnosis, also said she will not be returning to public duties for the foreseeable future.

Her last public sighting was in mid-March, when she and husband Prince William were filmed leaving a farm shop near their Windsor residence.

But sources have since reported that the royal was recently out and about with her family, including kids Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

Now, royal biographer Richard Fitzwilliams has said that these reports show Kate is taking “positive” step in the right direction.

In an exclusive chat with The Sun, Mr Fitzwilliams said: ” I think everyone is obviously hoping that it won’t be too long before she will be undertaking world engagements, but before that happens I would suspect that she would probably be seen, and the fact that we know she’s been seen out and about is is obviously positive.

“I mean, it’s it’s very difficult at a time like this, because, as we know, she has major abdominal surgery and is is undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

“But this is an indication which is favourable and I just hope that things move in the right direction.”

However, the royal biographer suggested that it could be a while before we see Kate attend any royal engagements.

He continued: “I think that very clearly the indication of this particular release of information appears to be positive.

“But what we’re not expecting is, you know, any royal engagements, or anything like that in the foreseeable future.

“Obviously this is something that is substantial and has to be dealt with in a manner that obviously is is approved by her doctors.

“We never know with illness how it develops, and also one of the problems is it’s very difficult, especially for royal planners.

“The diaries are filled quite a period, a long period in advance. So how do you know exactly how well somebody’s going to be at that time, I mean, the answer is that you don’t.”

The Princess of Wales has reportedly continued to receive a deluge of support including “tens of thousands” of get-well-soon cards.

Palace officials are said to be “so touched” however her team are struggling with the quantity of correspondence, reports the Mail.

The Court Post Office normally expects around 1,000 letters a week but the volume has surpassed that since March.

And Mr Fitzwilliams said that this backing would only help her recovery.

The royal biographer added: “There’s been a tremendous amount of support since her video message in March.

“The large number of cards, and so forth, that is charming.”

In her video message, Kate admitted it had been an “incredibly tough couple of months” for her entire family – but was thankful for the messages of support.

    Princess Kate’s message in full

I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery.

It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful.

In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful.

However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that
    treatment.

This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.

As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.

But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to
George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK.

As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits.

Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you.

It means so much to us both. We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment.

My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.

At this time, I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope.

    You are not alone.

Sitting on a bench at Windsor for the poignant clip, the royal went on to thank her husband Prince William for his support.

Her voice also cracked as she said she has broken the news to George, 10, Charlotte, 8, and five-year-old Louis.

It comes as Kate is said to be “excited” by her business taskforce’s new report that claims the UK could reap £45.5billion in economic benefits if firms prioritise early childhood.

She has been following the work of chief executives she convened last year to galvanise business action on the importance of the formative years of a child’s development.

The Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood has produced a report recommending a range of interventions from creating a culture inside and outside firms that prioritises childhood to supporting parents with greater resources and flexibility in the workplace.

Among the eight-member taskforce are the chief executives of Ikea, NatWest Group and Deloitte – and their report highlights how the nation could benefit from an estimated £45.5billion.

The report follows the launch of Kate’s long-term campaign Shaping Us in January last year, described as the princess’ “life’s work”, and aimed at highlighting the crucial first five years of a child’s life.

Christian Guy, executive director of the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, briefed Kate on the new report she has read, and said she was “excited” by the document.

He said: “Shaping Us was about awareness but also for her it’s so important to have action.

Prince William is a pillar of strength for Kate

EXPERT analysis by author and royal expert, Ingrid Seward:

Steadfast when his family needed him, William has proved himself as a man and future monarch of strength and compassion.

While he might not have been present during Kate’s courageous video address — make no mistake, he has been by her side every step of the way.

William has stepped up with school-run duties and provided a “great source of comfort and reassurance” to his wife.

But he has also been a comforting and reassuring presence for the public.

From leading members of the Royal Family at the Commonwealth Day Service to enjoying cheerful banter with youngsters on a youth centre visit, he hasn’t put a foot wrong.

But ultimately he is only human.

To have your father and your wife diagnosed with cancer in such quick succession is heart-shattering.

It’s a remarkable insight into the character of this young man that he has been so incredibly brave.

Theirs is a very private turmoil which has been brought into the public arena by the nature of their roles as future King and Queen.

William must feel the weight of enormous responsibility, both personally and for the monarchy, of which he is now the public face.

But he knows his most important role is that of dad and husband.

He will make that his priority.

This is a distinct difference from the ways of the past, where your royal role came before the role of spouse and parent.

Think back to when the Queen was young.

    William’s priority is his family

It was a man’s world then — and she was forced to abandon her children in a way that William is determined not to.

William and Kate waited until the school term was over and their children were home before making their public announcement.

    They needed to be prepared.

In this, they will have had the wholehearted support of Charles — who knows what it feels like to be brought up by nannies.

William was also acutely aware of the lack of his own father’s presence in his life, especially when things went wrong.

In 1991, he was accidentally hit over the head with a golf club when he was at school and Diana was having lunch in her favourite restaurant San Lorenzo.

The call came through that William had been bashed on the head and they thought he might die so it was very serious.

Both Charles and Diana rushed down to Ludgrove.

William was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital and then to Great Ormond Street Hospital and Diana went with him.

But ever a man of duty, Charles prioritised his engagements.

William is determined to do things differently.

“So to have eight of the most significant businesses in Britain come forward, make the case to their fellow business leaders is vital – it’s exciting for her and it’s a priority going forward for our centre’s work.”

Mr Guy added: “This is another crucial moment for Her Royal Highness’ early childhood work because its impact, and the work of her Centre for Early Childhood, is rolling on as she recovers.”

A Kensington Palace spokesman stressed the launch did not signal Kate “returning to work”.

They said “…early childhood is a huge priority for the Princess of Wales, and she has been kept fully up to date throughout the process and the development of the task force’s work and she has seen the report…”

Visitors can book slots from 11am to 4pm, at £7 for adults and £5 for kids.

Courses traditionally feature obstacles like windmills, tunnels and castles.

It is not known if the King’s will add to the fun with a royal theme, or if Charles will have a go himself.

Royal fan Phil Morgan said today: “Golf is my cup of tee and I can’t wait to try the King’s course.

“It’s a stroke of luck His Majesty has made summer a swinging time for golf nuts like me.”

Sandringham’s 142 hectare Royal Parkland — which already includes an orienteering route and a newly-renovated children’s woodland play area — is open daily.

The latest attraction comes after Charles accepted patronage of the oldest golf club in the world — The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.

The patronage has been accepted by reigning monarchs since King William IV in 1834.

The late Queen was patron for 70 years.

The world-renowned club, which said it was “honoured and humbled” by the King’s support, was established in 1754.

Meghan Markle has been blasted by Nigeria’s First Lady for her ‘nakedness’ whilst in their country

MEGHAN Markle has been blasted in a speech by Nigeria’s First Lady over her “nakedness” following her visit to the country.

The Duchess of Sussex recently jetted to Nigeria earlier this month for a three-day “faux royal tour” with husband Prince Harry in tow.

Meg, 42, made multiple outfit changes during the “unforgettable” trip where her and the duke met with locals and leaders.

But while attempting to keep up appearances – spending almost £120k on jewellery and new clothes – the former actress’ fashion is said to have offended First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

During a speech to mark President Bola Tinubu’s first year in office, after the Sussexes had landed back in the US, Tinubu made a sly dig at Meghan.

Addressing crowds, Tinubu said girls and women in Nigeria “do not want to mimic and try to emulate film stars from America” with their “nakedness”.

She added: “The message here is we have to salvage our children. We see the way they dress.

“They keep forgetting that Nigeria, we are beautiful. You can see what they showcase on the stage, I said, ‘We are fashionable, we see what is going on’.

“We are not having the Met Gala. And everyone, the nakedness, is just everywhere and the men are well-clothed.

“So we have to do something. Tell them we don’t accept nakedness in our culture. That is not beautiful. It’s not beautiful at all.

“And they’re all beautiful girls, but they should be confident in who they are.

“They do not want to mimic and try to emulate film stars from America. They don’t know where they come from.

“Why did Meghan come here looking for Africa? That is something we have to take home with.

“We know who we are. Don’t lose who you are.”

Meghan wore a number of high-end brands on the trip, including Carolina Herrera, Altuzarra, and Johanna Ortiz.

Given the extreme levels of poverty in Nigeria, the American has been slammed.

During Harry and Meghan’s trip, the couple visited a warzone, played volleyball and even stood up for God Save The King.

And I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more colour, so I can fit in with all of you and your incredible fashion

    Meghan Markle

The Sussexes kicked off their “faux-Royal tour” with a visit to Lightway Academy, a primary and secondary school in the capital.

They then visited Nigeria’s defence HQ on Friday to meet military wives and senior officials.

The following day Harry was snapped playing volleyball, before Meghan referred to Nigeria as “my country”.

Speaking at an event in the capital Abuja, the duchess said: “I want to start by saying thank you very much for just how gracious you’ve all been in welcoming my husband and I to this country… my country.

“I am just flattered and honoured and inspired. It has been a whirlwind 24 hours since we arrived.

“And I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more colour, so I can fit in with all of you and your incredible fashion.”

The Duchess of Sussex recently discovered she was 43 per cent Nigerian, according to a genealogy test.

The next day, Harry tried his hand at basketball, before they finished up their trip at a charity polo match.

They also unveiled a partnership between their Archewell Foundation and the non-profit Giants of Africa, which aims to empower young people through sport.

But in the hours that followed the charity hit headlines after it was reportedly declared “delinquent” and ordered to stop raising money.

It was alleged the charity did not file its 2022 tax return or related costs on time.

However, the docs were filed and the cheque sent but it never arrived, reported The Telegraph.

The Sussexes’ charity last week broke its silence on the alleged cash woes saying it is “fully compliant”.

A spokesperson said: “We have diligently investigated the situation and can confirm that The Archewell Foundation remains fully compliant and in good standing.

“Due payments were made promptly and in accordance with the IRS’s processes and procedures.

“Furthermore, all necessary paperwork had been filed by the Foundation without error or wrongdoing.”

PRINCE Andrew has been spotted for the first time since King Charles is said to have threatened to sever all times over the crumbling Royal Lodge row.

It comes after Andrew’s older brother, King Charles, is said to be warning that life will become “uncomfortable” if the disgraced royal refuses to leave his 30-room mansion.

The Monarch, 75, is believed to have increased his efforts this year to evict Andrew from his home which he shares with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson with insiders branding the stand-off the “siege of Royal Lodge”.

According to sources at the Palace, the King, who is funding Andy’s life, could “reconsider the levels of support he is willing to provide” if he refuses all offers of a new home.

The shamed Duke, who will never return to public duty after paying millions to settle an abuse case with a Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking victim, has refused for 18 months the King’s pleas to move out.

The Sun exclusively revealed Andrew had rejected the chance to move into Frogmore Cottage last year after Harry and Meghan were served with eviction.

Andrew is still refusing to budge pointing out that he is in possession of a 75-year lease.

But a friend told The Times: “It can be done tidily or untidily. It can be done with grace and dignity or it can be forced upon him. It’s all rather sad.

“But as things stand, life at Royal Lodge is set to become increasingly cold and uncomfortable for the duke.

“The only question now is when he will realise that he has become a prisoner of his own pride – and that handing back the keys will afford him far greater comfort, and the continued support of his family.”

It comes as Charles is said to be unwilling to keep paying out of his own pocket to fund Andy’s lavish lifestyle.

Sources close to the monarch claim he could be forced to “reconsider the levels of support he is willing to provide” if the so-called siege of Royal Lodge continues.

The disgraced Duke’s police protection was removed when he stepped down from public duty amid the Epstein scandal.

But Charles stepped in to pick up his multi-million pounds private security bill.

The crisis shows no sign of going away after Netflix screened its hit drama Scoop detailing Andy’s ‘car crash’ Newsnight interview.

And there is yet another depiction of his shame in an Amazon series on his downfall where Andy is played by actor Michael Sheen.

The scandal-hit father of two has kept out of the public since he caused controversy leading the family into a service for late Greek King Constantine at Windsor Castle in February in the absence of the cancer-hit King.

But last month he was seen playing golf without a care in the world with pals in Scotland.

    DUKE’S DISREPAIR

PRINCE Andrew’s Royal Lodge home is “crumbling

New pictures show crumbling paintwork and cracks forming on the outside of the the 19th-century, Grade II-listed property.

He has reportedly already poured £7.5million into repairs but sources say he cannot continue to meet the £400,000 a year bill.

The Sun reported last year the home currently needs an estimated £2million in repairs with the duke reportedly paying £200,000 for roof repairs.

Very little work has been carried out on the property since Andrew spent £7million on repairs when he moved in after the 2002 death of the Queen Mother.

A source told the Mirror that Andrew had a clear responsibility for repairs after cutting the deal with his brother.

They said: “Prince Andrew was told he must take charge of the necessary renovations or he will have no cause to stay in the house.”

The source said the King was greatly concerned about the state of the home.

“There is no doubt the King will be alarmed at the true state of the residence after the duke assured him everything was in hand.”

His finances are said to be in trouble as he can no longer work and it is unclear if he received any major windfall from his late mother’s will when she died in September 2022.

But he and ex-wife Fergie got to keep the corgi’s and he pocketed millions of pounds from the sale of his chalet in the Swiss Alps.

And the late Queen helped pay his multi-million pound out-of-court settlement to sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre.

Sources close to Prince Andrew insist he will not leave Royal Lodge citing a 75-year lease on the property that does not expire until June 15, 2078.

Friends of the Duke last night he has a “cast iron” lease and sees no reason to give up his home he has lived in for the past 20 years.

A source familiar moves to force Andy out told The Times: “The King’s kindness is not without limit and there is a very good option for Andrew to move into Frogmore Cottage, recently vacated by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which also has the benefit of being within the Windsor Castle security cordon hence reducing the need for alternative round-the-clock security for Royal Lodge.

“He is taking longer than desirable to recognise the reality of the situation, even though it is clearly the most sensible course of action.

“If he doesn’t agree to move to a property better suited to his needs, then the King may have to reconsider the levels of support he is willing to provide.”

    ‘There is no way back’

Prince Andrew’s reputation is damaged beyond repair and he will never be able to engineer a return to public life, according to one of Britain’s top PR gurus.

Brand and culture expert Nick Ede, who runs East of Eden PR agency, called the shamed royal “deluded” for thinking he could ever return to royal duties and urged him to give up and ‘enjoy his life’ in exile.

It follows the release of Scoop – a Netflix movie based on the 2019 interview he gave to Newsnight.

Nick said: “There is no way back for him.

“I think you know this perpetual idea that he could still be back. Nobody cares. He hasn’t got fans.

“There’s nobody out there who’s going ‘We want to see Prince Andrew’, not one single person. I think he has to realise that.

“But I think it’s going to take a long, long time for him to actually understand. It’s very deluded.

“In my opinion, the best thing that he could do is just enjoy his life. He’s got gorgeous daughters. He has a great relationship with Fergie, he has a lovely house.

    “Just live a quiet life.”

Reflecting on the interview five years ago – the fallout of which saw Andrew step back from royal duties “for the foreseeable future” – Nick compared the fallout to Frost vs Nixon and said he would have urged him not to do it.

He said: “If I had been advising him, I would say, go quiet, be quiet, just go to ground. You know you’re a prince.

“Enjoy the life that you lead, but do not open this can of worms, because that’s what it is.

“There was no admission that a relationship with somebody like Epstein was terribly toxic.

“There was no idea that there were loads of victims of trafficking whose lives were completely ruined by Epstein.

“He didn’t seem to think that the association he had with that man was anything but positive.

“I think his worst gaffe was obviously being in that interview and agreeing to it in the first place, for not realising that he’s actually going to be interviewed by a very, very good journalist who is going to ask him questions which he might not like.

“But I think what this has done is really shown how archaic Prince Andrew is in his opinions and thoughts.

“Read the room. He’s never read a room at all.”

Another acquaintance who has visited Royal Lodge told the newspaper: “It’s really rather sad but if it’s a case of who will blink first then Andrew is going to dig in. He ain’t going anywhere.

“He has had a stay of execution with Sarah and the King’s illnesses and he will be hoping that Charles won’t want to be seen as vindictive by turfing him out.”

The Duchess of York, who despite divorcing Andy 30 years ago still lives in Royal Lodge, has recently been fighting breast and skin cancer.

Palace sources have insisted Prince Andrew “remains the King’s brother” and is welcome at family events but will never return to public duty.

A Buckingham Palace spokesman previously refused to comment.

Prince Louis’ heartbreaking eight-word response to Queen Elizabeth’s death revealed

The young prince was just four years old when the Queen passed in 2022, but he had a very mature response, which Princess Kate revealed to well wishers.

Prince Louis had a very sweet eight-word response to the news of his great-grandmother the Queen’s death, Princess Kate revealed.

The young prince was just four years old when the Queen passed in September 2022, but he had a very mature response, which his mother shared during a walkabout outside Windsor Castle.

Just two days after the monarch’s death, Princess Kate spoke to well wishers in Windsor with Prince William, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle.

One royal fan was particularly emotional, and the Princess of Wales sought to give them some reassurance, retelling her youngest son’s response to the news.

She said: “The whole nation’s being very brave, aren’t they? Don’t worry I have plenty of moments like this too.

“My little Louis, he’s just so sweet, he’s like ‘Mummy, don’t worry, she’s now with great-grandpa.’ It just shows you how special she was to everybody, all generations.”

The comment was made while she was viewing tributes to her late grandmother-in-law and made headlines for walking alongside Prince Harry and Meghan, whom they had a strained relationship with at the time, and still do.

This marked one of the very few occasions the former ‘fab four’ reunited since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from the Royal Family in 2020.

They also conducted other joint visits at the time of the Queen’s death, with Prince Harry and Prince William taking part in a vigil for their grandmother, alongside their cousins at Westminster Hall.

A year previous, his great-grandfather Prince Philip passed away aged 99 and had to have a socially distanced funeral as per the Covid restrictions at the time.

A photo emerged from the service of the Queen sat alone as she said goodbye to her husband of 73 years, refusing to let the government bend the rules for her family.

According to The Independent, she said: “It would be unfair for her to have special treatment when others were also grieving for their loved ones in lockdown”.

The following year, the death of the Queen would mark the end of the longest-reigning monarch the UK has ever seen.

World leaders sent their condolences from across the globe, and the public queued up for hours to see her lay in state, paying one last tribute to the monarch.

The Royal Family annually gathers to celebrate the monarch’s official birthday, a day filled with pageantry that concludes with an RAF flypast viewed from Buckingham Palace’s balcony.

In recent years, Prince Harry has been noticeably absent from the balcony alongside his family members, despite it being a tradition he participated in for most of his life. While Royal enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the balcony appearance, often charmed by the larger-than-life personalities of the royal children, Harry revealed in his memoir Spare that these moments also hold significant sentimental value within the family.

In a poignant excerpt from Prince Harry’s bestselling memoir Spare – which provides an insider’s perspective on Royal Family life – the Duke of Sussex recalls memories triggered by the passing of his cherished grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth. Amidst the flood of shared experiences that resurfaced during his mourning, Harry recounted a particularly endearing moment during a balcony appearance when he managed to make his grandmother laugh amidst the ceremony’s formality.

Prince Harry shared poignant memories of the late Queen, writing: “I couldn’t stop…remembering. Day and night, images flitted through my mind,” he recalled moments such as standing before her during his passing-out parade, catching her half smile, and making her laugh out loud on the balcony despite the solemnity of the occasion.

According to the Mirror he also reminisced about the last time his children were with the former monarch, and when she had agreed to participate in a comic video for the launch of his passion project, the Invictus Games. He revealed that the world was treated to the Queen’s humorous side, which many didn’t realise she possessed.

He continued: “She possessed such a wicked sense of humour – but she did, she always did! That was one of our little secrets.”

Harry further described the “distance” usually maintained when appearing in public as a royal, even when they were all together on the balcony. This contrast made his memory of making the late monarch laugh on one of these occasions even more touching.

He added: “As a royal, you were always taught to maintain a buffer zone between you and the rest of creation. Even working a crowd you always kept a discreet distance between Yourself and Them. Distance was right, distance was safe, distance was survival. Distance was an essential part of being royal, no less than standing on the balcony waving to the crowds outside Buckingham Palace, your family all around you.”

Prince George is the future King, but like any child, he has a sweet nickname for his mother, Princess Kate, which he used during a recent Trooping the Colour.

Royal enthusiasts are treated to a delightful display of familial affection every year at Trooping the Colour, celebrating the monarch’s official birthday. The event peaks with the Royal Family’s Buckingham Palace balcony appearance for the RAF flypast, where their interactions become a highlight for fans.

While King Charles and other key royals are often in the public eye, this grand occasion also offers a glimpse of the Windsor youngsters, who invariably captivate onlookers with their exuberance. A charming instance was when Prince George was overheard using a sweet nickname for Princess Kate, caught by an eagle-eyed lip reader.

This tender moment unfolded during 2022’s Trooping the Colour, marking Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. As George joined his mother en route to Horse Guards Parade, lip reader Jeremy Freeman detected the endearing term.

Dressed sharply, George greeted the audience before affectionately referring to Kate as “Momma”. It appears that the fondness for nicknames is mutual, with Kate affectionately dubbing her firstborn and heir to the throne with a quintessentially British nickname: PG tips.

Prince George’s diminutive moniker neatly aligns with his second-in-line-to-the-throne initials, even further shortened to ‘Tips’ on occasion, reports the Mirror.

Royal insiders suggest the family frequently use nicknames, drawing parallels to Prince Philip’s own epithet ‘P. P.’, a cheeky reference to his initials.

An insider told The Sun about the reason behind the Royal Family’s affection for whimisical aliases. “The royals are not very good at communicating with one another so this is one way around it. Nicknames are a way of taking the family tension out of things,” they revealed.

“They can also be a rather childlike family. They love to play games and they give each other silly presents. I think it’s because they have to be so earnest in their public lives.”

  • Meghan Markle ‘doesn’t understand’ what’s important about the Royal Family and her own ambitions

Meghan Markle ‘doesn’t understand’ what’s important about the Royal Family and her own ambitions

A royal expert touched down on Meghan Markle’s ambitions and why she didn’t last longer in the royal fold.

Meghan Markle “failed to understand” her role within the Royal Family, which was a bad match for her “ambitions”, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex does not have the best relationship with the Royal Family after she and Prince Harry stepped down as senior working royals and moved to the US in 2020.

However, due to her interest in many charities focusing on mental health, women’s rights, and animal welfare, among others, royal watchers have long questioned why Meghan did not stay in the royal fold for longer than she did.

Now royal expert Jennie Bond claimed that was because she did not understand her royal role and added that the Royal Family was the “wrong vehicle” for her ambitions.

She told OK!: “I have always held the view that Meghan failed to understand that she would never be the top dog in the Royal Family… or even the deputy top dog.

“There’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be in complete control and in charge of your life. There’s nothing wrong with seeking the limelight.

“It’s just that the Royal Family was the wrong vehicle for her ambitions.”

Ms Bond went on to claim that the Duchess of Sussex may not “crave” the superstar profile but is enjoying being in control of every detail of her life and work in California.

She explained: “I’m not sure she craves a superstar profile.

“In fact she’s been quite low-key in recent times, presumably enjoying her family life in California.

“But she has projects in the pipeline with her website and I’m sure she will enjoy being in control of every detail.

“She is an independent woman with strong views and she is perfectly entitled to deploy her skills in any way she wants.”

Meghan declared she would never return to the UK for safety reasons, saying: “Kate is always trying to hurt me, but always acting nice in front of everyone she is too moral fake.”

Royal expert claims Meghan Markle unlikely to return to the UK with Prince Harry in the near future, despite Prince William and Princess Kate’s invitation.

Meghan Markle’s return to the UK is highly unlikely, claims a royal expert. While Prince Harry is scheduled to visit London in the coming months, Markle accompanying him with their children is not happening anytime soon. Recent reports suggested that Prince William and Princess Kate have been working to mend the royal rift and extended an invitation to the estranged family member, but Meghan declined the request.

Meghan Markle is avoiding a trip to the UK

As confirmed by Harry himself and considering his plans to attend the Invictus Games event in May, the Duke of Sussex will make a quick trip to the UK. Earlier, Harry also expressed his desire to visit his ailing father, King Charles, who has been diagnosed with cancer. While many speculated that Meghan would accompany him to the palace, royal commentator Esther Krakue, in conversation with GB News, suggested that might not be the case.

“I actually think she’s avoiding the UK because she’s not interested in the whole drama and, kind of, being injected, is she going to talk to [Princess] Kate, and all of that.” Esther Krakue told the outlet.

Meghan Markle ‘concerned’ about the safety

Things haven’t been going so well for the royals lately. Court cases, health issues, and the general state of affairs have been off the rails. Meghan is thought to be keeping a low profile due to security concerns after Harry lost a high court case against the Home Office, as well as a desire to avoid further conflict between her and Princess Kate.

“I personally think she’s not going to come because, obviously, Harry has lost his case with the Home Office and he said he doesn’t feel safe bringing his family over [to the UK] and I also think this is going to be a time where distance between the Sussexes and the Royal Family will be calcified because the focus will obviously be on the Princess of Wales and the King recovering, they don’t need the whole Netflix drama.” Claims Krakue.

    Prince Harry’s court battle

Harry and Meghan have been residing in the US since they left the UK in early 2020 after announcing their decision to leave the royal family. Earlier this year, Harry lost a legal battle against the UK Home Office and RAVEC at the High Court in the United Kingdom. The Duke wanted to overturn a decision that reduced his security classification after he was no longer a “working royal” due to fears for his own safety and the safety of his wife, Meghan Markle, and two children Archie and Lilibet.
