Prince Harry and Meghan break their silence on THAT South Park episode to blast ‘boring and baseless’ reports that they’re planning to sue – but DON’T address claims Duchess is ‘upset and overwhelmed’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally broken their silence on an episode of South Park in which they were mercilessly mocked and ridiculed, slamming claims that they are planning to sue the show – while failing to address reports that the Duchess was left ‘upset and overwhelmed’ by their unflattering depiction.

The satirical cartoon launched a series of attacks against the couple in an episode of the show, which was entitled The Worldwide Privacy Tour and depicted the couple embarking on a publicity blitz to promote the Prince’s new book, Waaagh.

After the show aired, reports surfaced suggesting that 41-year-old Meghan had been left ‘upset and overwhelmed’ by the couple’s less-than-flattering portrayal – while one royal commentator claimed that the Sussexes’ lawyers were ‘casting an eye’ over the animated series.

However, a spokesperson for Harry, 38, and his wife has now slammed speculation that they are planning to sue South Park over the satirical episode, blasting the rumors as ‘boring and baseless’ in a statement given to Newsweek.

The terse statement did not address claims that the couple’s lawyers will be monitoring the show in order to see whether South Park’s creators launch any fresh attacks on the pair in the future. Similarly, no comment was made in response to claims that Meghan has been left ‘upset and overwhelmed’ by the couple’s depiction in the episode.

A spokesperson for the couple has now spoken out to slam speculation that they are planning to sue the satirical cartoon, blasting the rumors as ‘boring and baseless’

It comes just one day after royal commentator Neil Sean told Fox News that representatives for the pair were watching the series closely for any more attacks.

He said: ‘According to sources close to the ex-Royals, it appears that, like so many things with Meghan and Harry, this may have legal ramifications attached.

‘Their legal team are casting an eye over the episode to see what is wrong, and what could be turned into something more sinister.’

Sean added that the makers of South Park have, as yet, received no legal correspondence.

Last week’s episode depicted the ‘Prince and Princess of Canada’ – a young royal couple who loudly beg for privacy while drawing attention to themselves.

The red-headed prince and his wife, who wears the same pink outfit that Meghan wore for Trooping the Colour in 2018, are seen promoting the prince’s book – Waaagh – the cover of which strongly resembles Harry’s memoir Spare.

The episode is filled with swipes at the Sussexes, with main character Stan branding their cartoon equivalents the ‘dumb prince and his stupid wife’, while Kyle complains about the private jet parked outside their home.

Meghan is cuttingly referred to in the show as a ‘sorority girl, actress, influencer, and victim’ – and it was claimed this week by a source familiar with the couple that she had been left ‘upset and overwhelmed’ by the couple’s depiction in the animated series.

Last week’s episode depicted the ‘Prince and Princess of Canada’ – a young royal couple who loudly beg for privacy while drawing attention to themselves

According to a source in California, Meghan has spent the last few days ‘upset and overwhelmed’ over how she was portrayed. The source added to The Spectator that the Duchess of Sussex ‘is annoyed by South Park but refuses to watch it all.’

The now-infamous episode opens with Kyle’s younger brother Ike, adopted from Canada, inconsolable at the news that the Queen of Canada – who resembles the late Queen Elizabeth II – is dead.

The Prince and Princess of Canada are seen at a large state funeral, where they are booed by the rest of the royal family, accused of bashing the Canadian monarchy.

Against the backlash, the couple appear on breakfast television to demand their privacy.

Arriving on the set of Good Morning Canada with a book to promote, the prince holds aloft a placard reading, ‘we want privacy’, while the princess’s banner reads: ‘Stop looking at us.’

The host asks whether, in reporting on the royal family for his new book, ‘Waaagh’, he has now become a journalist himself, despite hating them.

‘We just want to be normal people – all this attention is so hard,’ the prince replies.

The couple are challenged by the host who questions how sincerely they want privacy, and the royals storm off the set.

The episode takes aim at Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, by showing the Prince of Canada promoting his own near-identical tome, which is entitled Waaagh

Having stormed off a morning show appearance, the couple then embark upon a ‘Worldwide Privacy Tour’ in which they travel the globe parroting their demands for privacy

They then board their private jet and embark on a worldwide ‘we want privacy’ tour – complete with dancing rainbows and a catchy theme tune.

They visit France and India where they chant their pro-privacy slogans to bemused locals – and even a field of kangaroos during a pit stop in Australia.

Eventually they settle in the quiet town of South Park, Colorado, in an attempt to appear more ‘normal’.

‘If we moved here, people would think we’re really serious about wanting to be normal,’ the characters insist.

However, their arrival in the small town is met with uproar from locals after they begin loudly parroting their demands for privacy once again, brandishing their ‘we want privacy’ signs as they exit their private aircraft, before posting banners outside their home that read: ‘Leave us alone,’ and ‘Respect our privacy’.

Kyle wakes one morning and finds that his house has been covered with magazines featuring the princess – many of which strongly resemble real-life cover shoots that Meghan and Harry have done in the past, including the Duchess’s interview with The Cut and one that saw them featured on the front of Time magazine.

When Kyle confronts the royals, the princess yells: ‘He victimized me!’

The prince then quickly springs to his wife’s defense.

‘This is an outrage!’ he cries. ‘We’ll see how he deals with my blue penis!’

This appears to refer to a case of frostbite detailed in Harry’s autobiography, Spare.

The prince and princess turn to a crudely-named marketing agency for help protecting their privacy.

‘There’s this horrible spy who lives across the street from us,’ the prince explains.

The branding manager says he already has a file on the princess, which she created several years ago.

‘I have your brand already: Sorority girl, actress, influencer and victim,’ he tells her.

The prince’s brand is decided as: ‘Royal prince, millionaire, world traveler, victim.’

The prince, inside the agency, suddenly has a lightbulb moment and realises that he doesn’t want to be a brand.

‘Trying to make ourselves into a brand just turned us into products,’ the Canadian prince declares.

‘No more magazines and Netflix shows, we can just live a normal life!’

He stands to leave, and walks towards the door – but his wife remains inside the branding company.

‘Come on honey, we don’t need this place!’ he says. ‘Honey?’

The prince leaves alone. Kyle rejoins his friends, who invite him out to play. The prince then arrives, and asks if he can play too, before bringing out his drum kit.

The author shared: “They’ve got new PR people and if they listen to their PR people – sometimes people don’t listen to their PR people – but if they listen to their PR people, I’m sure they’re telling them that right, you’ve made your point, you’ve had Spare, you’ve had Netflix, you’ve had the Oprah Winfrey interview, you’ve got it all off your chest.

“Now’s the time to row back a bit and try and try and build some bridges or at least create a life for yourself.”

Phil, who is the author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan in their own words, claims the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s recent three-day Nigeria tour was a way for them to try to achieve that.

He added: “Obviously the Nigeria trip they were trying to do that, the jury’s out as to whether that was a good idea.

“I mean, some people call it a sort of ‘quasi’ Royal Tour and I’m not sure that the palace would have been particularly happy about it.

“But we can’t stop them doing these things if they want to.

“But it’s now time for them to focus on positive things and not just keep slagging off the royal family.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 and have since relocated to California.

Following leaving royal duties behind four years ago, the couple have made a number of accusations against the Royal Family, including in their Netflix docuseries.

Meanwhile, in Prince Harry’s bombshell Spare memoir, he made a number of claims, including how William allegedly branded Meghan “rude” and “difficult” during a row at his then residence on the grounds of Kensington Palace, Nottingham Cottage.

Harry and William haven’t been seen together in years after their rift.

Recently, Prince Harry visited the UK for a three-day trip and didn’t see King Charles or Prince William.

A spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said the reason for him not seeing King Charles was due to the monarch’s schedule.

They said: “It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.

During Nigeria trip, Meghan reveals she has proven her abilities, and continues she will consider coming back to UK on the condition that the royal family invites her to undertake Princess Kate’s groundbreaking tasks – noted in an interview… Details in comment

Meghan Markle has reportedly set forth two conditions, including a ‘grovelling apology’, before she considers mending fences with Prince William and Kate Middleton, claims one Royal expert.

The Sussexes’ rapport with the Royal Family has been tense post their Royal duty departure in 2020 and their move stateside, placing Prince Harry and Meghan at loggerheads with the upper echelons of royalty.

Royal commentator Tom Quinn told the Mirror: “Harry would like a reconciliation, but supports his wife completely and until she feels that the Royal family have been sufficiently nice to her – and grovelingly apologised for the past – it’s not going to happen.”

Since stepping back, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex haven’t shied away from airing their Royal grievances, be it through their explosive Oprah Winfrey interview or their contentious Netflix docuseries.

Quinn implies that Meghan is the barrier to Harry seeking amends with the Prince and Princess of Wales, despite Kate’s recent health scare, reports the Daily Record.

He maintained: “There has been a shift here since Kate’s illness Harry and Meghan do feel they need to extend an olive branch, but Meghan’s sense of grievance is still preventing anything really meaningful happening. Illness often brings warring family members together, and there have been hopes at Kensington Palace that Kate’s illness might do it.”

The royal author claims that William and Kate have made efforts to repair ties with the Sussexes and have extended an invitation to Meghan and Harry, encouraging them to bring Archie and Lilibet to the UK for a visit – but Meghan has “refused.”

The Royal author alleges that despite efforts by William and Kate to mend fences with the Sussexes – including an invitation for Meghan and Harry to bring their children Archie and Lilibet to the UK for a visit – Meghan has declined.

“There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK,” he added. “William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to makeup, but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far.”

The relationship between the Sussexes and the Cambridges has been fraught following the Sussexes’ candid revelations about Royal life in their Netflix documentary series and their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare sent shockwaves through the Royal family with its explosive claims. The Duke of Sussex recounts a fierce row with his brother Prince William, accusing him of labelling Meghan Markle as “difficult”, “rude”, and “abrasive”.

The book goes on to describe how the altercation escalated, alleging that William grabbed Harry by the collar, ripped his necklace, and knocked him to the floor.

Princess Kate has yet to return to her public role four months after having surgery in January, and later sharing that she was undergoing a preventative treatment programme.

A senior royal aide said she will only resume those duties once she has the “green light from doctors”.

Speaking to The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson, Arthur shared: “She’s just a huge star in the royal family. I mean, it’s no secret that she is the biggest star of them all.”

He added: “I think she’s just an incredible woman in my view.

“She is not only a mother and rearing three beautiful children, she’s a great member of the royal family.

“She’s a hardworking member of the royal family.

“She’s a great photographer, I have to say that, I must say her pictures get better and better and she shares them with us all.”

    Hardworking royal

It was revealed last week that the Princess of Wales has played a key role in a new early years project and has been regularly informed about its development.

A senior royal aide confirmed: “The Princess of Wales was the driving force behind the business task force.

“She has been kept up to date since the inception of the task force and she has read the report and been briefed on it.”

Arthur, who has served as a royal photographer for The Sun for over 45 years and has done over 200 royal tours in over 120 countries, added that he expects the royal mum-of-three has been “pretty busy” working behind closed doors.

He continued: “I imagine like the King when he was getting treatment he was still working on his boxes and stuff, I imagined she’s doing the same.

“Even though we’re not seeing her, she’s not making public appearances, I imagine she’s still pretty busy doing that.”

He added that he thought it “won’t be long” before we see Princess Kate in action again.

Arthur said: “The thing is, they can’t engage with the public because of infection, that’s the problem.

“So it’s not like you wouldn’t want to, it’s just she’s ordered not to.”

    Box office star

This follows recent YouGov data finding Kate to be the most popular royal with 76 per cent of people viewing her positively, which is an increase of six per cent since January.

Royal author Phil Dampier told Fabulous: “There’s no doubt that the Princess of Wales is the box office star of the royal family and they are missing her terribly.”

Prince William is the second most popular royal with a 73 per cent approval rating, Princess Anne was third (71 per cent), with King Charles coming in fourth (63 per cent).

Kensington Palace’s original statement on Kate Middleton’s surgery

KENSINGTON Palace released a statement in January after Kate had undergone surgery.

Sources made it clear Kate would be out of action until at least Easter.

The palace said: “The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate.

“She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private.

“Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share.

“The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements.

“She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible.”

Prince Harry (31 per cent) and Meghan Markle (26 per cent) came bottom of the list, with only Prince Andrew (six per cent) below them in the table.

This follows Harry slamming the royal family in his bombshell Spare memoir where he claimed William ‘attacked’ him in a row over Meghan.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also spilled details about the royal family in their Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary.

    Finding solace

Kate and King Charles are said to be “seeking solace and comfort from one another” and will be each other’s “shoulder to lean on” after both being diagnosed with cancer.

Amid their ongoing health battles, royal commentator Jennie Bond claimed the pair, who have been growing “closer and closer” over the years, will take comfort in the fact they both have a “shoulder to lean.”

The Sun previously revealed King Charles had an “emotional” lunch with “beloved daughter-in-law” Kate hours before she revealed cancer diagnosis.

“Charles and Catherine have been getting closer and closer over the years,” the royal commentator told Bella.

“He’s had a lot of admiration for her, even before they both became ill, but adversity always has the effect of binding people so much closer together.”

But it’s rumoured their relationship – and their wives’ newer friendship – came crumbling in recent years, and an expert says it will likely never be the same.

Richard Fitzwilliams was speaking today after it was revealed the Beckhams’ Netfix docu-series was the most watched on the streaming giant.

The Beckhams and the Sussexes aren’t comparable – they aren’t on the same level.

    Richard FitzwilliamsRoyal Expert

But, Meghan and Harry’s bombshell doc had slumped to a low 211 on the platform’s list.

The Royal commentator said this would be a blow for the Sussexes – who would dream of having the following the Beckhams have.

Richard told The Sun: “The Beckhams are probably everything that Harry and Meghan would like to be.

“You can’t compare Harry and Meghan to the Beckhams.”

He said David and Victoria were “international superstars” – and the Sussexes are not.

The expert continued: “This is the thing the Beckhams have not only survived, they’ve thrived.

“The Beckhams and the Sussexes aren’t comparable – they aren’t on the same level.

“There isn’t a modest comparison other than the superficial, because you’ve got those who’ve basically survived decades – and they’re absolutely huge.
Meghan Markle will NEVER return to Britain – she knows she is so unpopular, reveals expert
“So I don’t think there’s any possibility of Harry and Meghan resembling that level.”

Prince Harry and David have enjoyed a close friendship over the years, but cracks have formed in recent times.

The Duke of Sussex allegedly called David to accuse him and his wife Victoria of leaking stories, leaving the Beckhams ‘furious.’

And experts recently said that if Meghan’s business failed, it would be the “ultimate revenge” for Victoria.

He said the foursome had been pals, and the Beckhams’ attended the Sussexes’ wedding.

Richard continued: “We had a period where apparently Meghan was endorsing Victoria’s brand, and the couples were apparently getting on in one way or another.”

However, he believed Megxit and the lead up to it may have played its part in their friendship falling to bits.

Richard said: “There’s no doubt that the Beckhams are very, very patriotic – they are great supporters of the Royal Family.

    INSIDE THE BECKHAM-SUSSEX FEUD

Prince Harry and David have enjoyed a close friendship over the years, but cracks have formed in the last few years.

The Duke of Sussex allegedly called David to accuse him and his wife Victoria of leaking stories, leaving David ‘furious.’

David was also “snubbed” by Harry after flying for 22 hours from London to Sydney at the royal’s request, for the 2018 Invictus Games.

Cracks first started emerging in the pair’s friendship last spring when the former footballer invited Prince William and Kate to his son Brooklyn’s wedding – and not Harry and Meghan.

At the time, a source said: “David’s attachment and history go back with William and Kate and they have a very strong relationship and they were their choice of wedding guests. It was always about them, it was never about Meghan and Harry.

“They are the people David and Victoria are attached to and it’s always been about them because they’ve had a long history together.”

And perhaps it wasn’t a coincidence that after the apparent snub, Meghan, 42, seemingly stopped wearing Victoria’s designs – while Kate wore them more frequently.

She wore one of the designer’s dresses to an engagement in January and was spotted donning a pair of VB glasses at Wimbledon over the summer.

She even reintroduced a Victoria Beckham bag to her wardrobe – taking the white Quincy tote out on a royal visit in May, the first time she had been seen with it since 2016.

Since the Beckhams have appeared to further distance themselves from the Sussexes, a royal expert has claimed the move has strengthened David’s friendship with Prince William and the King.

Sarah Hewson, royal editor of Talk TV, said: “Perhaps by distancing himself from Harry and Meghan, it has helped David cement his relationships with William and the King.

“After all, he is due to meet with Charles for dinner soon. I think David has made it very clear whose side he is on.

    “David is a self-proclaimed royalist.

“He queued for 12 hours to see the Queen lying in State and he has worked with the royals on several charitable campaigns.”

“I suspect strongly, and this is just my view, that they didn’t like the way the Sussexes monetized their Royal connections for gain.”

He said that the Beckhams may have realised they were “too close” to the Sussexes – especially as they’re also close friends with Wills and Kate.

The expert continued: “It would seem that what was once a blossoming friendship has now descended into something of a rift.”

The Beckhams’ documentary – released last October – had 208.5million hours watched in 2023.

Meanwhile, Harry & Meghan had 72.9million hours watched during the year, although their show was released the year before and it’s normal for show views to decline over time.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix series was an instant hit when it debuted on December 2022.

The show was so popular that it was Netflix’s biggest debut at the time, with 81.6million hours viewed in the first four days.

However, it seems the initial furore quickly died down.

This could have been due to fans hoping for royal insight in the show, but instead being frustrated at the couple being “whiny”, as some stated.

Meanwhile, other viewers slammed Meghan for “mocking” having to curtsy to the late-Queen.

In comparison, fans praised David for sharing honestly about his career and a number of comical family life scenes went viral.

Queen Camilla’s surprising nickname for King Charles revealed

As the pair joined fellow royals on the Buckingham Palace balcony last June, Queen Camilla could be seen referring to King Charles by an unusual nickname.

Queen Camilla referred to King Charles as ‘Fred’ during their balcony appearance at last year’s Trooping the Colour, according to one lip-reading expert.

The royal couple were joined by fellow royals, such as the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, on the Buckingham Palace balcony on June 17, 2023.

According to one lip-reader, Camilla could be seen, whilst reaching out for his arm, saying: “Fred, what do you think about the horse [she smiles]?”

Replying, Charles said: “I don’t know [smiling back, scratching forehead with thumb].”

The expert, as reported by the Mirror, also claimed that Prince William could be seen asking his children – Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 – to “budge up”.

King Charles and Queen Camilla have reportedly referred to one another as ‘Fred’ and ‘Gladys’ for some time.

The names, which started before their relationship became official, were heavily featured on Netflix’s The Crown.

On the show, the late Princess Diana found a bracelet engraved with a ‘G’ and ‘F’ on it. The names are thought to have come from two characters on one of the King’s favourite shows, ‘The Goon Show’.

The King – who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year – and the Queen are said to be attending this year’s Trooping the Colour, which is set to take place on Saturday, June 15.

It remains unclear who else will join the couple, although the Princess of Wales won’t be set to attend the annual event.

Meghan Markle has been accused of being “demanding” as she’s already having a “lot of trouble” hiring for key roles at her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

A royal expert has slammed the Duchess of Sussex for causing tensions within her new brand, bringing things to a “stalemate” just months after it was launched.

Meghan announced the launch of American Riviera Orchard on social media in March, followed by a giveaway of 50 personalised jam jars to her friends and influencers in the US.

Though details about the venture are still few and far between, it’s known that it will generate home, garden, and lifestyle content.

Despite the seemingly smooth launch, royal biographer Angela Levin said Meghan is struggling to get it off the ground and hire people to run it.

She told GB News America: “She is very upset about what is happening with this American Orchard Rivera, she is not happy about how it has been received. The jam was a bit of a laughing stock, she sent it off to about fifty friends and only a few replied.

“Everyone said that she is in a jam. It is not moving forward. She has had a lot of trouble finding a CEO to run it for her and she is having a lot of trouble finding a chef. Some of them have gone along to see how it is but they say she is so meticulous about everything.

“She’s so demanding and they don’t really want that. These are chefs who have good jobs, and they’re not people who are learning, so it’s a bit of a stalemate.”

Levin also claimed Meghan thought the job of running the brand would be easy, but had a rude awakening as it’s actually “jolly hard work”.

The royal commentator took aim at the Duchess for assuming everybody would be on board with her new venture and think it “wonderful” when in reality it’s been “much more difficult”.

She added: “I think she’s she’s finding it much more difficult than she thought. I think she thought she would sail in and everybody would think it was wonderful, which I think she does a lot about herself. But actually, it’s jolly hard work.”

Jeannette Charles, the celebrated doppelganger of Queen Elizabeth II, has sadly died aged 96.

Known for her roles in Naked Gun and Austin Powers, the renowned impersonator passed away at a care home in Great Beddow, Essex, on Sunday, with her loving family by her side.

Remarkably, Jeannette reached the same age as the monarch she so famously resembled.

Her career as the Queen’s lookalike was sparked in 1971, leading to a distinguished run in television and film that lasted until 2014. She was hailed as one of the best impersonators in show business.

Amidst heartfelt tributes, her daughter Carol Christophi shared a poignant statement, saying: “Mum was a real character and a force of nature. She had an amazing life.”

Carol also highlighted Jeannette’s deep respect for the monarchy: “She was always respectful of the Queen and adored the Royal Family. We will miss her dearly.”, reports the Mirror.

In May 2022, months before the passing of Queen Elizabeth II in September, Jeannette reminisced about the start of her lookalike journey.

In an article for the Guardian, she recounted discovering an advert in a local newspaper for artist Jane Thornhill’s portrait service.

Jeannette, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the Queen, shared her fascinating story: “I loved the finished piece, and Jane asked if she could submit it for the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition,” she wrote.

The mix-up that ensued is straight out of a British comedy the painting was mistaken for one of the Queen, leading Buckingham Palace to clarify that Her Majesty had not sat for it, resulting in Jane’s disqualification from the exhibition.

She recounted the media frenzy that followed: “When she arrived at the gallery to collect her work, she was pounced on by journalists. After that, my phone didn’t stop ringing I was interviewed for newspapers, magazines and radio, and an agent said my resemblance to the Queen could be a money-spinner.”

The next four decades were a whirlwind of celebrity encounters and unique opportunities for Jeannette.

“I handed out gifts with Liberace and presented a silver disc to the band Queen. The only time Ken was impressed was when he got to meet Muhammad Ali, who had requested a photograph with me,” she reminisced.

Jeannette also expressed pride in her television appearances: “I’m proud to have featured on Blue Peter,” and detailed her involvement with various entertainment legends.

She even turned down a risque request from Ali G, maintaining her poise and dignity: “I sat in when the Spitting Image team were modelling their puppet of the Queen, and contributed to candid camera-type shows and skits for the Goodies, the Rutles and Spike Milligan, though I gave short shrift to Ali G when he asked me to drop my knickers as I got into a limousine.”

Throughout her illustrious career, Jeannette portrayed Queen Elizabeth II on numerous occasions, including appearances in films such as Queen Kong, All You Need is Cash, National Lampoon’s European Vacation, Naked Gun and Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Besides her film roles, Jeannette also graced the small screen, with a memorable stint on Saturday Night Live in 1977.

She even made a surprise appearance in the Big Brother house in 2009, leaving one contestant believing they had met the actual monarch.

Jeannette retired from acting in 2014 and lived out her days in Danbury, Essex.

Meghan Markle is “the one thing holding Prince Harry back” from returning to the UK, a royal expert has claimed.

Prince Harry is said to been eyeing up a return to the UK, but Meghan Markle is not so keen and is the “one thing” holding him back. Speaking of the couple, royal expert expert Kinsey Schofield told Times Radio: “I’m sure that [Harry] would love to have a permanent home in the UK.

“The one thing holding him back is Meghan Markle because she is telling us through her actions that she has no desire to return [to the UK].”

Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior working royals back in 2020, and now live in the US with their two children – Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.

Following their eviction from Frogmore Cottage last year, which was their base in Windsor, the couple now hold no residence in the UK.

Royal Family ignore Princess Lilibet’s birthday in brutal snub to Prince Harry

The Royal Family made no mention of Princess Lilibet’s birthday on Tuesday, which could be seen as a brutal snub to Prince Harry.

Lilibet, who is the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s second child, celebrated her third birthday on June 4.

The couple reportedly marked their daughter’s special day with an intimate party at their Montecito home.

Fans eagerly watched on to see if members of the Royal Family would acknowledge Lilibet’s birthday and offer well-wishes on social media, but none came. But they may have sent birthday messages privately.

Who will be on the balcony for Trooping the Colour as Princess Kate considers appearance

Princess Kate, who is undergoing chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis earlier this year, has not confirmed if she will definitely be making an appearance for Trooping the Colour 2024 to mark King Charles’s official birthday.

However, wider members of the Royal Family are expected to make the iconic appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony and join in with the celebrations for King Charles’s second official birthday as reigning monarch.

The major fixture in the royal calendar takes place on Saturday, June 15, and will see over 1400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians come together in a great display of military precision, horsemanship and fanfare. The display closes with an RAF fly-past, watched by members of the Firm from Buckingham Palace.

John Lennon’s son Sean Ono Lennon has gone on an online rant against Prince Harry, calling him an ‘idiot’ who deserves to be mocked.

Sean, 48, sparked fury among the royal’s fans when he posted a joke about his book Spare, writing: ‘My long awaited review of Prince Harry’s autobiography is two words. “Spare Me.”‘

While the musician insisted he was just making a pun out of the book’s title, he doubled down on his criticism of Harry as he was slammed on X, formerly known as Twitter.

As people pointed out that Sean and Harry have a lot in common, including the fact that both tragically lost famous parents at a young age, Sean recalled meeting princess Diana‘s younger son.

Sean replied: ‘Actually I am aware [that we have things in common]. We met once. That was before I realized he was an idiot.’

Sean seemed to particularly be offended by Harry sharing in his book that he treated his frostbitten penis – which he called his ‘todger’ – with his late mother’s favorite lip cream

The Oscar-winner seemed to particularly be offended by Harry sharing in his book that he treated his frostbitten penis – which he called his ‘todger’ – with his late mother’s favorite lip cream.

‘It was a pun,’ Sean said of his initially post. ‘But he deserves to be mocked after that todger episode. He’ll be fine.’

As social media users continued supporting Harry, mentioning the tragedies he has been through, Sean stood by his decision to mock the royal.

Sean said of Harry’s past: ‘That is very sad. I don’t hold any of that against him.

‘It’s the stupidity that bothers me.’

He added: ‘Just because I made a joke does not mean I don’t empathize with him. I do actually.

‘Also why I’m very disappointed with his outlook. I was hoping he’d be smarter.’

In another reply, Sean said: ‘I do empathize with him generally. But the way he whines and wangs on about things is really too much.

‘I’m just having a little fun. I think he’s earned some mockery. (I’m sure I have as well).’

Sean also replied to a Harry fan who defended him by suggesting that Sean was jealous of the Prince being a best-selling author

‘I mean, I don’t care but I did win an Oscar this year so…I think I’m doing okay,’ he said.

The artist seemed to have a good attitude about the backlash from Harry’s fans, concluding: ‘People are coming after me because I made a joke about the title of Harry’s book.

    ‘It’s pretty great.’

The 39-year-old royal’s headline-grabbing book saw him accuse his brother Prince William of pushing him into a dog bowl in a row over his wife Meghan Markle.

It also claimed William teased Harry about his panic attacks, that King Charles put his own interests above his second son and saw Harry reference taking cocaine, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms and his enjoyment of the TV show Friends.

Harry used the tell-all book to make various claims about his family including that William called Meghan ‘difficult’, ‘rude’ and ‘abrasive’, and that Charles refused to allow Meghan to join Harry in Scotland as the late Queen was dying.
