ITV Loose Women star booed by audience as she makes admission

The panellists discussed some hot topics during Thursday’s show including one rather controversial holiday issue

Loose Women star Kaye Adams was booed by the live audience during Thursday’s show after admitting to doing something rather controversial during her holiday.

Kaye, who was heading the panel that also featured Frankie Bridge, Denise Welch and internet sensation G K Barry, told the audience and viewers of the ITV show that she doesn’t hesitate in getting up early and bagging a sunbed around the hotel pool.

Her admission came after she revealed that in Greece they have drones to monitor holidaymakers bagging sunbeds. “I’m with them – you snooze, you lose!” said Kaye.

But Frankie wasn’t having any of it, saying that hotels should provide enough sunbeds for all guests to prevent the mad dash at dawn to claim the beds, often before disappearing for the day.

Kaye Adams was brazen about her holiday choice

But Kaye said it was “a waste of space” having so many sunbeds. She said: “If you want your space you get down there and you get it!” Denise then asked her: “Are you one of those people who puts their stuff on and then goes out for the day?” To which Kaye replied: “Yes” before the audience booed her.

“These people get genuinely so annoyed,” said Frankie as she went on to share a story about her friend’s wedding abroad when her friend got up from a sunbed to go to the bar and someone came along and moved their stuff and claimed the sunbed for himself before there was a sit-off.

“It was one of those moments that became the talk of the wedding,” she added.

The sunbed story came about after Frankie had earlier said she was “fuming” with one of her co-stars following another comment made by Kaye.

  • Phillip Schofield brands three ITV ex-colleagues ‘sh***’ and says there was ‘no loyalty’

Phillip Schofield brands three ITV ex-colleagues ‘sh***’ and says there was ‘no loyalty’

Phillip Schofield has launched a furious tirade against three unnamed ex-colleagues at ITV, branding two ‘cowards’ and another ‘brand orientated’ after his affair was exposed

Phillip Schofield blasts a trio of people at ITV as “three sh*ts” – in an angry attack where he claims there was no loyalty for him at the channel.

Schofield quit the channel in May 2023 after it emerged he had been having an affair with a younger male staff member on This Morning, something he had previously denied. But there is furious anger reserved for execs and possibly for his co-host Holly Willoughby who he is understood to no longer be friends with.

Sat by the fire after a few days on a remote island filming his new Channel 5 series, Schofield starts by saying that when he started at the BBC as a booking clerk at 19, he first was able to go to Television Centre, where ITV’s This Morning was later filmed, and he “loved being there”.

He added: “When what happened to me happened to me, it screwed up my favourite building in the world, and it pretty well blew away all those happy memories, and suddenly the place became hostile to me, and that was heartbreaking. And the people who did it to me, know, they know how important that building was to me. They know that when you throw someone under a bus, you’ve got to have a really bloody good reason to do it. Brand, ambition is not good enough. It’s not a good enough reason to throw someone under a bus.”

Pausing to put more wood on the fire and seemingly enjoying expressing his true feelings, he then turns up the heat and says: “I was just thinking there as I was collecting wood. There are only three sh*ts. One of them is a coward who never stepped up in queue gate. One of them is a coward because they never stepped up when I was being battered by one journalist….and the other one is just brand orientated. Not what you expect, not what you think you’re going to get. When it all came to a sudden and very abrupt end, questions were asked about our toxic environment in parliament!”Undated handout photo issued by Paramount of Phillip Schofield on an island off the coast of Madagascar, on Channel 5's Cast Away.

He insisted there were a few “tricky people” but the toxicity was exaggerated. Continuing with his complaints he added: “When you’ve given so much to somewhere and been so loyal, to have absolutely no loyalty shown to you. I know what I did was unwise, not sensible. But is it enough to absolutely destroy someone? Literally destroy them.”

Schofield appears to be livid that he was not supported more when he and Holly were criticised when they visited the late Queen Elizabeth II’s lying in state without queuing. They used media passes and received criticism in some quarters. They were defended by the chief executive of ITV, Dame Carolyn McCall, who stressed the pair had been attending as members of the media to film a segment for This Morning.

When he was dropped by his talent agency YMU on the same day he resigned from ITV after more than three decades with the company, he says he was “suicidal”. Schofield added: “They sent me what looked like a cut and pasted text, (saying) ‘this time we’ll have to let you go’.”

The presenter says he knows people will claim he is having a “mad rant”, but he does not “care any more” as he has “nothing to lose”. In another scene whilst fishing on the island, he could be referring to Holly again when he says: “People just went who I thought were my friends and they just went. And that’s like ‘what the hell?’.”

Schofield and Holly worked side by side for 14 years on This Morning but have not been seen together since he left the show or shared comments or photos on social media, a sharp contrast to their previous behaviour where they would regularly go out and eat at each other’s houses.

File photo dated 01/03/18 of This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during a photocall at the ITV Studios, Southbank, London.
Schofield appears to take a swipe at his former This Morning co-star
In further comments which could be about Holly or other This Morning staff members, shamed Schofield says: “It is hard to come to terms with the fact that the people you thought you knew were not the people that you knew. They had completely different agendas.”

He insists he doesn’t need “200 fake friends” possibly referring to many people within the TV industry who no longer speak to him and now has 10-15 friends he “would die for”. Warming to the attack on old friends and acquaintances at ITV, Schofield went on to say he doesn’t care what the reaction is when people view the programme.

He adds: “The good thing is, when you do a programme like this and you do it just for yourself, you have nothing to lose. They’ve taken pretty much everything. Reputation, dignity, legacy, everything away. I’m not bleating Im getting it off my chest. And I’ve said my piece. Any anyone who’s bitter about that, honestly you can f**k off cause I don’t give a sh*t. I quit. Mic drop.”

The attack, which could also be aimed at execs from This Morning or ITV Daytime who did not support him, comes in episode two of the series of Phillip Schofield : Cast Away and follows scenes in the opening show where he also mocked Holly. He asked his family “If you’re okay, then we’re okay and I’m Okay. Are you okay?” Holly famously asked this question ‘Are you OK’ of viewers after Schofield quit This Morning, which some people found a cringey intro to the show..

Many people in the TV industry believe this Channel 5 series is Schofield’s attempt to return to television, where he had worked for four decades. But he insists whilst on the island that it is not his plan to be back, certainly not on a daytime TV show like This Morning anyway.

    Schofield on the island
Schofield doesn’t expect to return to TVHe states: “You expect your life to follow a path? I honestly thought, you know. I’m going to die on live television, hopefully at 93. But then you know it. It’s gone. And it’s not the way you planned it to be. It’s not the life you expected.” He adds: “Look I love telly. I’ve got telly in my bones but I won’t sit on a sofa again. I’m not going to do that again. There are people I won’t work with again. Some people I won’t work with again. I’ve been hurt so badly by that sort of telly, that you get to a point where you think ‘I don’t want to do it anymore’.”

In a lighter moment on the show he says often on family holidays he would build chairs on the beach out of sand and he tried to create one of his desert island. But something goes slightly wrong with the design and laughing he says it looks more like a grave. He says: Maybe this is what retirement feels like? And I absolutely refuse to you know sit in a rocking chair and do nothing. I want to explore. Maybe getting to this stage in your life is about setting new challenges.” He adds: “Things didn’t turn out the way you thought they might. So you have got to look elsewhere.”

The experience gets even better for him when he successfully catches fish and crabs and full of energy climbs to the highest point on the island. He becomes tearful at the top of Ankarea mountain. Reflecting on the moment he says: “When anyone says to me where’s the favourite place you have ever been? It will never change, from now on – it’s this!”

Loose Women’s Kaye Adams lets slip huge ITV show bombshell ahead of 25th anniversary

Loose Women has been part of the ITV daytime schedule for 25 years but show regular Kaye Adams has revealed that show bosses originally had very different plans for the programme

Kaye Adams has dropped some major Loose Women news ahead of the show’s 25th anniversary.

In September, the ITV daytime show will mark its milestone birthday with plenty of surprises in store for fans, including the return of former anchor Andrea McLean.

The 61-year-old star appeared on James Martin’s Saturday Morning on August 10 for the first time and the chef grilled the journalist on her time as a panelist on the all-female show.

Kaye explained: “Yeah, I think it was myself, Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore were on the first programme in 1999.” James asked: “When you were doing that sort of show, did you think ‘this is something really special here’ because nothing else was like that.

She replied: “It’s funny you should say that because it was initially a month’s pilot and it was September time. It’s a time a year when television executives get funny ideas for weird programmes but actually, if i’m very honest, I thought ‘do you know what I think we might be onto something’.”

Over the past two decades, Loose Women has become a staple in the ITV schedule and last week, the show made history as TikTok star GK Barry became the first guest panelist who was born in the same year it started.

Kate couldn’t help by point out that co-star Frankie Bridge was no longer the youngest on the team. Throughout the show, Faye and fellow panelist Denise Welch make humorous quips about 35-year-old Frankie’s age, with Frankie seemingly getting riled up with the comparisons.

In May, it was confirmed that Andrea would be returning to Loose Women four years after announcing she was leaving the show The presenter spent more than 20 years on TV before she took a break from the spotlight to focus on her mindset app, This Girl Is On Fire, as well as her Mastering Midlife podcast with her husband, Nick Feeney.

During her appearance on the show as a guest, Andrea announced she was returning to Loose Women in September for a special episode. Christine Lampard responded at the time: “You’ve been such a fabric and part of the DNA of the show over all those years, so it’s going to be a celebration, I think, of Loose Women… it will feel very special to be part of that.”

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan brands co-star ‘ugly’ and snaps ‘are you still talking’

Loose Women quickly turned awkward when chat turned to beautiful people living longer and Coleen Nolan was seemingly unimpressed as she took offence over the segment

Coleen Nolan was not full of pleasantries on Tuesday’s (August 13) Loose Women episode.

The Nolans singer, 58, was on the panel with the very same co-star’s that she’d shared the ITV stage with only yesterday, with the same clan back in business for the second day on the trot it was evident that they all seemed more than comfortable in each other’s company.

Kelly Holmes, Christine Lampard, Brenda Edwards and Coleen, having now built up a good rapport on Monday’s programme, kicked off the show discussing ‘people living longer who were more attractive’.

According to Christine who was in the hosting seat, a recent study discovered that people who were more beautiful, were deemed to live at least two years longer than those supposed to not be as attractive.

Coleen appeared on the Loose Women panel
Coleen took a stab at beautiful Christine

Immediately, Coleen took a disliking to the conversation, pulling snarling faces in Christine’s direction and at the camera as the audience roared with laughter.

Judging by the disappointment written across her face, the former popstar was not happy that the camera had honed in on her, with Coleen throwing her arms up in the air.

Christine took Coleen’s comments all in her stride
Turning to Christine, who was giggling away, she asked: “Are you going to press that button?” The chat continued, with Christine seemingly digging an even bigger hole as she explained some of the most beautiful people were actually “very dull”.

Bored with the topic now, Coleen rudley interjected: “Are you still talking?” before beginning to fake snore noises live on air, leaving co-star’s Brenda and Kelly in hysterics.

Christine praised Coleen in spite of her comments
Despite being uninterested in the findings of the study and conversation, Coleen did delve into her thoughts on the matter.

She commented: “I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I’ve been out with some dodgy looking guys in my time… but they’ve really made me laugh and therefore the whole attractiveness comes into it of the overall person.”

Christine praised: “Well said,” as Coleen took another stab at her beautiful co-star and wife of football ace Frank Lampard, she jibed: “Alright ugly, get on with it.”

ITV Emmerdale’s Dominic Brunt halts Loose Women after blunder as he asks ‘are we live’

Emmerdale’s Paddy Kirk star Dominic Brunt appeared on Wednesday’s Loose Women to talk about his current storyline on the hit ITV soap with Mandy Dingle

Actor and Emmerdale star Dominic Brunt halted his Loose Women interview on Wednesday after a hilarious blunder.

The soap legend, 54, who has played loveable vet Paddy Kirk since 1997 on the hit ITV soap, is part of a huge storyline this week as his character prepares to tie the knot to Mandy Dingle. However, in true soap style, a shock bombshell leaves their nuptials in jeopardy.

Only recently, Mandy Dingle resorted to desperate measures amid her serious debts and set up a findom account, which is a financial dominatrix. However, her secret side hustle was exposed this week by father-in-law Bear and on Wednesday night he reveals all to a blindsided Paddy, who contemplates whether to go ahead with his marriage or not.

Talking about the storyline on Wednesday’s Loose Women, Paddy actor Dominic said: “It’s interesting because he’s not bothered about that [the findom account]. He says: ‘You could be a laptop!’” before realising he’d made a blunder to which the audience burst out laughing as the interview came to a brief pause over the humorous mistake. Dominic then quipped: “Can we do it again, is it live?”

Following Bear’s bombshell on Wednesday night, it’s time for the big day but Paddy reveals he doesn’t want to marry Mandy. Although Bear is thrilled by the decision, Marlon still wonders if he can change Paddy’s mind. Later, dressed in her wedding gear, Mandy and Vinny share an emotional moment in the salon to which Bear enters to sour the mood, revealing that he was Mandy’s caller and Paddy now knows all about her findom business. Mandy is left devastated as she rushes to apologise to Paddy… can she save her wedding?

Earlier this year, Paddy and Mandy got engaged following a tumultuous time for the couple. Prior to the proposal, Mandy was upset that Paddy, who had previously humiliated her at an event, kissed his former flame Chas Dingle. To hit back at him, she kissed doctor Liam Cavanagh to get back at her partner. However, despite the drama, they decided to get back together when Paddy surprised Mandy in his Prince Charming outfit. When they were home later, Paddy decided he didn’t want to lose Mandy and he proposed to her.

This isn’t the first time the duo have been married and they tied the knot back in 1999. However, back in the 90s, Mandy and Paddy’s marriage came to an end after she had an affair with her college lecturer, with Mandy soon leaving the village and not returning until 2019.

Loose Women star Gloria Hunniford’s husband dies as family release heartbreaking statement

Loose Women star Gloria Hunniford is mourning the death of husband Stephen Way, who has passed away at the age of 85

Gloria Hunniford’s husband of more than 20 years has died at the age of 85.

The Loose Women star, 84, wed the businessman in 1998, and she said he would leave “the most enormous void, not only in my life”.

Stephen Way, who was a renowned celebrity hairdresser, passed away on Tuesday following a “heroic fight” with an illness, the family announced.

Gloria and Stephen celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last year. Speaking of her loss for the first time publicly today, Gloria said: “Stephen was a gentleman and a giant of a man, who will leave the most enormous void not only in my life, but our entire family. He was an incredibly kind, generous, and caring man, with a delightfully quirky sense of humour, which remained till the end. We had a tremendously happy 25-year marriage and did so many beautiful and exciting things together that I will always cherish.”

Stephen was described as a “wonderful husband, father and grandfather” and Gloria added: “It’s a great shock and words cannot express my sadness at this time. A bright shining light has dimmed, and he shall be missed at every turn.”

It was Stephen who broke the news of the death of her former husband Don Keating as she came off stage after hosting a TV chat show in 1997, she revealed that year.

When they started dating, he owned an hairdressing salon in New Bond Street, Mayfair.

Last year, Gloria revealed Stephen had been left partially blind in his right eye after suffering a second stroke. She had spoken of his numerous health battles and in 2020 praised the NHS for saving his life. Stephen was involved in a taxi accident in 2019, leaving the base of his spine fractured.

In 2004, Stephen had a heart attack and in 2012 he had his first stroke. Speaking of the incident, Gloria previously said: “He said something about the garden to me, he told me there was something the matter with his left arm and said it was like cotton wool and he had no control over it.”

He had previously been Gloria’s support following the tragic death of her daughter in 2004. Caron, who had followed in her mum’s footsteps and became a TV presenter, died from breast cancer aged 41 in 2004.

Earlier this year she explained her the pain of Caron’s death “never goes away”. Speaking of how Stephen helped her at the time and with tough periods in her life, Gloria previously said: “Stephen’s a lovely man and so supportive of me in every way. It’s very important to look after your relationship, especially when it’s a second marriage, and my concession is that I don’t work every day so we have time together.”

Gloria previously said losing a child was “the deepest sense of loss you can ever face”.

“Because I have personally lost parents, I’ve lost a former husband. Yes, it’s all relative to the situation and relative to the person and relative to where you are in your life. But I think to lose a child sends you into the darkest black hole imaginable and one which I never thought I’d get out of.”

Gloria and Stephen exchanged wedding vows at St Peter’s Church in Kent in 1998. They continued the celebrations at the majestic Hever Castle. Last year, the couple returned to the same spot to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. She told Hello Magazine at the time that her memories of that special day are as vivid as ever, and the secret to their happy marriage is “love, laughter and good conversation”.

She assed: “I can remember walking into the church, filled with family and friends, and the candles all lit – it was wonderful. We’ve often said we would love to live it all over again.

“Of course, there is physical attraction, but our relationship is full of kindness and humour. We enjoy talking to each other. Talk, talk, talk – that is a wonderful thing.”

Sinitta reveals Simon Cowell called her while he was in bed with Lauren Silverman

Sinitta has opened up about her relationship with ex-boyfriend, Simon Cowell, who she hinted had recently married Lauren Silverman, who is the mum of his son, Eric

Sinitta shocked Loose Women fans today when she revealed Simon Cowell called her while he was in bed with his partner, Lauren Silverman.

Simon, 64, dated Sinitta, 60, for two years in the eighties before going on to have an on-off relationship with the singer for 20 years. He then met Lauren, who is the mum of his son, Eric, and who has reportedly tied the knot with Simon, according to Sinitta.

The So Macho star was talking about her close relationship with the media mogul alongside Loose Women panellist, Dame Kelly Holmes, who said her pal had called Simon on New Years Eve.

Speaking about the exchange, Kelly said: “They’re such good friends. She called him on New Year’s Eve while he was in bed with Lauren.” Correcting her, Sinitta said: “No, he called me.” Kelly continued: “We were all on FaceTime and it was lovely. That’s how great your friendship is.”

Last week Sinitta, who revealed today (August 19) she was loved up with her boyfriend, who she’s been dating for a year and a half, hinted that Simon and Lauren were now married after she dubbed the mum-of-two”Mrs Cowell” in a recent press chat.

The X Factor judge popped the question to his socialite girlfriend Lauren in December, 2021, less than two decades after the pair first bumped into one another while on holiday in Barbados.

Since his proposal, Simon and Lauren have not been spotted exchanging their vows and a date has yet to be announced. But his ex-partner and good friend Sinitta has recently let slip that the couple have already tied the knot.

The British-American singer appeared to spill the beans when she was asked if Simon had set a date for his wedding with Lauren. “Oh, are they not married yet?”, she asked.

This left Woman Magazine stunned as Sinitta was then asked if Simon and Lauren could have eloped. “I’m not saying anything, but I’m sure they are married. I call her Mrs Cowell anyway, so they may as well be”, she affirmed.

However, speaking to the Mirror, the Toy Boy star later clarified: “Apologies to everyone, I would like to clarify a comment I made in response to a question about when Lauren and Simon might tie the knot. When asked, I playfully responded by pretending to be confused and joked.”

She added: “My intention was to deflect the question with humour, not to suggest that they had secretly married. To be clear, if they had married in private and I were aware of it, I would respect their privacy and not disclose such information.”

The Mirror has contacted Simon’s rep for comment on this story.

Ruth Langsford declares she’s with ‘the one she loves’ on rainy walk together

Ruth Langsford has been spending her weekend with someone special amid her divorce from Eamonn Holmes – and has wrapped up to be ready for any weather condition

Ruth Langsford has been connecting with nature this weekend as she embraces her new life following her shock divorce announcement.

On Saturday, the Loose Women icon was wrapped up and ready for whatever the weather threw at her as she went for a walk in the park. Flashing a smile from beneath her all weather coat, Ruth revealed that she was with her true love as she got some fresh air and connected with nature.

She revealed she was walking her beloved dog, Maggie – who she has been battling for custody of following the news her marriage to Eamonn Holmes, 64, is over. Ruth uploaded content of herself with Maggie on Instagram Stories on Saturday and wrote: “Walking in the rain with the one I love!”

And the ladies enjoyed even more time together on Sunday – with Ruth sharing footage of Maggie merrily skipping her way through a park while on a lead. She uploaded the clip to her Stories along with a caption stating: “She’s sprightly today!” And she added an animated sign reading: “Autumn walk.”

It seems that dressing her dog to match her is another way to ensure fans can be aware just how much Ruth loves her pet. As she also revealed, via another photograph of herself wearing her warm coat: “Lots of you asking about my coat… I put the wrong tag yesterday. It’s from @wearedrybones. Super warm, super cool and waterproof! Maggie’s got one too!”

Ruth and Eamonn shocked their fans in May this year when it was announced they plan to divorce after 14 years of marriage. They confirmed their split through a representative, who said: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

A bitter custody battle was then reported – as both broadcasters want to be able to claim ownership of their beloved dog. A source previously told The Sun: “Maggie is like a daughter to them. They dote on her. But she’s getting on and they know she needs stability.

“It’s a case of who can give her that. Eamonn adores her and Maggie’s been such a support during his health woes. The thought of giving her up is heartbreaking to him. But if Ruth is able to get out and about and walk her more, then it may well be that she gets Maggie in the split.

“They are adamant this won’t come to what Ant and Lisa went through and they won’t be getting lawyers involved.” Ruth and Eamonn are actual parents to a son named Jack, who is 22. However, prior to the split, Eamonn joked that his wife loved their pooch more than she loved him, as he quipped: “I genuinely have never experienced affection like it.”

Dame Kelly Holmes shares health update after dealing with ‘crippling pain’

Athlete Dame Kelly Holmes has opened up about the crippling pain she experienced before being diagnosed with the menopause, and how she didn’t want to go on HRT

Dame Kelly Holmes, the double gold medalist for Great Britain at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the Women’s 1500m and 800m races, has always been in sync with her body. Since retiring from athletics, she has made a name for herself as a health and fitness advocate, sports commentator and recently, a panellist on Loose Women. However, despite her confident TV persona, Kelly, now 54, has been privately battling with the menopause – confessing to us that she’d been “in denial” about it. “About three years ago, I was getting bad body pains to the point where I couldn’t even do one push-up,” she reveals.

“If anyone knows me, they know I keep myself fit. So to not be able to do one push-up was alarming. The worst pains were in my wrists, then I ached through to my bones. It was just constant pain, I could feel it in my body the whole time.” Alongside this, Kelly was also dealing with insomnia, but was unaware at the time of the connection between hormonal changes and sleep disturbance. As her symptoms persisted, the Olympian was advised to undergo tests to determine if she was menopausal.

“I did the blood tests, reluctantly, because again, I was in denial of my age and now I realise that’s almost a naive thing to think, as you could experience the menopause from late thirties upwards,” she admits, reports OK!.

In seeking treatment, the sportswoman sought out a private doctor’s opinion. She recounts, “I was not in a great place mentally,” adding that she now recognises menopause likely played a role in her condition.

Her medical tests showed severely depleted oestrogen and testosterone levels, leading her physician to advise starting hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Kelly admits, “But I didn’t want to have HRT, as I didn’t want to put anything I don’t understand into my body,” yet she understood the need to give it a chance.

These days, feeling more positive, Kelly is dedicated to enlightening other women about the benefits of exercise, particularly weight lifting to combat muscle loss due to declining oestrogen. She states, “It’s brilliant doing fitness when you’ve been feeling low and it’s important when you’re getting weaker. So weight training has become something important to me.”

Offering her advice to others experiencing menopause symptoms, Kelly stresses the importance of dialogue and proactive health care: “Conversation is key. And those of you who are suffering, just book that appointment with a doctor. It can really make a huge difference.”

Eamonn Holmes has been showing off his romance with girlfriend Katie Alexander as their pair enjoy a lavish weekend away at a friend’s wedding beaming for pictures together

Eamonn Holmes showed his commitment to girlfriend Katie Alexander as they spent the weekend celebrating a friend’s wedding.

GB News star Eamonn, 64, was invited to TV presenter Hayley Sparkes’ marriage in Essex on Saturday, and brought Katie, 42, along as his plus one. The pair posed for pictures together with Katie appearing blissfully happy as she beamed in the smiley snaps.

A mutual friend of the couple shared the pictures of Katie and Eamonn, as well as snaps of A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton as guests enjoyed the nuptials and reception. Eamonn wore a simple blue suit for the event, as Katie dressed up in a strapless black gown with a white corsage applied to the front.

The outing is the latest in a string of luxury dates for Eamonn and Katie as things grow ever more serious between the pair. Eamonn appears to be making the most of his life after his divorce from Ruth Langsford, after recently setting sail on a luxury cruise with Katie – who is said to be calling him her “soulmate.”

A source previously told Heat Magazine: “Katie is telling everyone that she’s totally smitten and in love. They’ve known each other for nine years, so this isn’t a fly-by-night relationship – she’s in it for the long haul.”

The pair are said to already be in the process of finding somewhere to live together, with the source adding: “They’re now looking at places to move in together, as they want a lot more space.”

The romance comes after Eamonn has been plagued by health issues in recent years. He had a double hip replacement in 2016, but has become wheelchair bound after a back surgery. Then in January he went for a tumble and broke his shoulder, but ten months and a major divorce later, the former ITV daytime host looks set on pastures new with Katie, who is a mother to three.

Despite this, someone with knowledge of the situation has said: “While Ruth’s making the most of being single, she’s also ready to dip her toe back into the dating pool – and after some friendly flirting, she’s given pals the go-ahead to set her up on dates.”
