Prue Leith’s Bake Off replacement and new celebrity line-up announced – with huge names

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer will return to Channel 4 this spring, and the full line-up of celebrities taking part has now been announced

Channel 4 has confirmed the full line-up for this year’s celebrity edition of The Great British Bake Off. The popular show is set to return to our screens in Spring, although an official release date is yet to be announced.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer will see a range of famous faces battling it out to win the title of Star Baker. Each episode will feature four celebrities showcasing their baking skills in the Signature, Technical and Showstopper rounds.

The contestants’ creations are typically judged by Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, however, Prue will not be appearing on this year’s special. Stepping into her shoes is Caroline Waldegrave OBE, a close friend of Prue and former co-owner and managing director of Leiths School of Food and Wine.

Caroline will join Paul in judging the celebs’ bakes in the tent. Hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding will be back to present the star-studded spin-off show.

Celebrities taking on the Bake Off challenge this year include podcaster Sarah Beeny, comedian Adam Buxton and Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway, reports Wales Online.

Chicken Shop Date host and journalist Amelia Dimoldenberg is set to appear, alongside TV presenter siblings and property gurus Scarlette and Stuart Douglas. Model and author Ellie Goldstein, Loose Women’s Gloria Hunniford OBE, and actor Jim Howick are also on the roster.

Actor and director Gbemisola Ikumelo, TV presenter Roman Kemp, comedian Jamali Maddix, actress Maxine Peake, and actor Tommy Tiernan will be showcasing their baking prowess. Rounding off this year’s line-up are podcasters Chris and Rosie Ramsey, singer Self Esteem (Rebecca Lucy Taylor), actress Meera Syal, comedian Phil Wang, and actress Sophie Willan.

Channel 4)Prue revealed last year that she would be stepping back from the Channel 4 show, saying: “I absolutely love working on Bake Off and am looking forward to filming the next series and meeting our new bakers.

“I am only stepping back from the Celebrity series, which is just a question of the filming commitment involved as we make these shows back to back.”

Earlier this week, Prue stopped by Loose Women to chat about life in her 80s, revealing that “old age stinks”. She added: “It takes me 10 minutes to get myself out of bed in the morning. If I don’t do the exercises I can’t move. There’s all sorts of things that are wrong with old age.

“You know, you are very conscious that this is nearly the end, though I agree that you then decide that you’re going to make the most of it and have fun. I think what we’re all saying is that we don’t care what people think as much as we did and to be honest I don’t even really care if I’m cancelled.”

Alison Hammond tells son Aidan ‘be honest’ as they do first ever joint Loose Women interview

This Morning star Alison Hammond appeared on ITV’s Loose Women on Friday afternoon with Aidan

Alison Hammond and her son Aidan sat down together for their first ever joint interview on Friday’s Loose Women, leaving fans touched as they delved into their lives.

The dynamic duo appeared on the ITV chat show to discuss their new travel show, Alison Hammond: Florida Unpacked, where viewers will be treated to Alison conquering the sunny climes of Florida with Aidan, providing escapism, a dose of sunshine, and top-notch travel advice to make our winter a little brighter.

However, conversations quickly switched to Alison’s stellar TV career when panellist Judi Love quizzed: “It’s just lovely as a mum to see you with your son. I remember we did an awards show you mentioned that you were sorry about the times you haven’t been there for Aidan, how did that make you feel when you saw your mum do that speech?”

Back in December, Alison received the Role Model Award at the MBCC in Birmingham. The This Morning star gave a touching speech as she accepted her award – declaring all her hard work had been for Aidan.

She said at the time: “I love you so much son and I’m sorry I haven’t always been there but I’ll be honest with you, the reason I was doing it, was only for you”, reports the Liverpool Echo.

As they reminisced about this special memory on Loose Women, Aidan responded, saying: “Yeah it was nice, it was a nice feeling as obviously I know everything she does is for me. It was just nice.”

This prompted a laugh from Alison as she chimed in with: “Be honest… you weren’t bothered that I wasn’t around. You were like: ‘Thank God she’s not here, thank goodness! Oh, she’s coming back again now? Here she is again, oh here we go!’”

Alison’s new show, Florida Unpacked, will be gracing our screens every weekday starting Monday 27 Jan at 6.30pm on BBC2 and BBC iPlayer.

In discussions about bringing her son along for work on the series, Alison revealed: “It was Aidan’s first time filming, so it felt like I had a work experience apprentice with me. It was eye-opening to see how he approached it, and I realised he has the same work ethic as me – early mornings, late nights – he handled it really well! I was quite surprised, to be honest. You know how teenagers can be, but he was great!”

Talking about her son joining her travels and whether he thought it ‘uncool’, she explained: “Not at all! He absolutely loves it. He’s always asking, ‘Can I come?’ The other day, he was saying how much fun we have together I bring the lols, I am the life and soul, and he realises that. He’s been on plenty of trips with his friends, but he always says he has the best time with me.”

ITV Loose Women’s Kaye Adams halts show to share unexpected wardrobe blunder

Loose Women’s presenter Kaye Adams revealed her jumper was on back-to-front on Friday

Kaye Adams of Loose Women had a comical moment on the show as she stopped everything to share her wardrobe gaffe.

On the Friday (January 31) episode of the popular ITV chat show, Kaye sat alongside Frankie Bridge, Judi Love and Nadia Sawalha, ready to dive into the day’s hot topics.

But it wasn’t the topical chat that stole the spotlight – the panel and audience were left in stitches during a discussion about taking oneself seriously.

In a humorous twist, Kaye announced: “To anyone who thinks that I take myself too seriously.” She turned around to reveal the hilarious truth: her jumper was on backwards. Admitting to her dressing mishap, she said: “I can’t even get my jumper on the right way”, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The laughter cascaded through the studio when Frankie quipped: “And if it helps I don’t take you seriously at all.” While Kaye playfully retorted: “I literally button up the back.”

It comes as an exciting format change is happening next week on the show. Fans are in for a treat with a special Loose Men episode airing on Wednesday, February 5, which will be a one-off event.

Gracing the Loose Men panel will be Craig Doyle, 54, and Jordan Banjo, 32, along with debutants Danny Jones, 38, and Pete Wicks, 37.

Together, these gentlemen will tackle significant issues such as mental and physical wellbeing, while sharing personal stories and encouraging open conversations throughout the hour-long program.

A new teaser for the show has dropped, and it’s got the presenters lined up as Craig enthuses: “For a squad of Loose Men you need a fella who’s quick on his feet, a guy who can sing who’s a jungle king, and a Strictly star with a heart of gold.

“All led, by a man with a plan. The perfect team for a brand new edition of the award-winning Loose Men.”

Linda Robson breaks down in tears on Loose Women over Pauline Quirke’s dementia

Loose Women star Linda Robson was left in tears and unable to speak as she appeared on the show to discuss pal Pauline Quirke’s dementia diagnosis

Linda Robson was left in tears as she spoke about friend Pauline Quirke’s dementia diagnosis for the first time.

The Loose Women star spoke of her Birds of a Feather co-star while on the show and struggled to contain her emotions. Host Christine Lampard told her: “Clearly, you are there for her and you have got a bit of experience too. You will lean on each other going forward. It is so good thank you have got each other. It is difficult, Linda, I know. Thank you for sharing.”

The support prompted Linda to break down as she was supported by the panelists. She was unable to say anything in response. “We are sending all our love to Pauline and her family,” Christine added. She then told Linda: “You take a little moment.”

Linda opened up on her friendship with Pauline, having met when they were 10-years-old. She said: “We were at the same primary school together and we did everything together. We travelled all over the world, we went to amazing places. Because of Birds of a Feather, it opened many doors.”

The TV star continued: “We just had such amazing times and she was an amazing actress as well. She has got the most beautiful family, a loving husband Steve who was the love of her life. Her kids as well, she has got two kids and granddaughters as well.” Linda added: “We sort of did everything the same. We were really naughty. We used our fame to get into so many different places.”

Last week, Quirke’s husband Steve Sheen said she will retire from “all professional and commercial duties” after a diagnosis in 2021. On Instagram, 66-year-old Loose Women star Robson wrote: “This will be the only time I speak on behalf of my best friend, Pauline. For the past three years, I’ve been in close contact with her husband, Steve, and have spent time with Pauline. It breaks my heart to see her endure such a terrible illness. Out of respect for her family and her privacy, I will not be discussing this matter further.”

She struggled to contain her emotions
Steve said in his own statement: “It is with a heavy heart that I announce my wife Pauline’s decision to step back from all professional and commercial duties due to her diagnosis of Dementia in 2021.” It was revealed on Loose Women last week that Linda had known about Pauline’s diagnosis for “some time”.

As the devastating announcement was released, Linda was on a Caribbean cruise. She was near the island of Grenada and was unaware the statement was to be released, according to reports. Linda’s Loose Women co-star Ruth Langsford also addressed her being away as Pauline’s health battle was discussed by the panel on Tuesday’s show.

Ruth said: “Linda Robson, obviously great friends with Pauline, is actually away at the moment, otherwise she would have joined us today to talk about her friend. And obviously she has known for some time.” Linda and Pauline have been friends since childhood, but have faced feud rumours over the years.

Alison Hammond revealed she almost had a panic attack while filming for her show, Florida Unpacked.

The This Morning star, 49, appeared on Friday’s episode of Loose Women with her 19-year-old son, Aidan, to discuss the programme. While talking to Judi Love, Nadia Sawalha, Kaye Adams and Frankie Bridge, she admitted she was terrified while filming the show as she thought she would have a run-in with alligators.

“There is a moment we are doing canoeing actually, and I started having a panic attack,” she explained. “I started having a panic attack because I thought there were alligators and do you know when you get the heebie-jeebies about spiders crawling all over you, and I started having a proper panic attack.

“He [Aidan] looked like the adult that was like ‘Mum, we are going to go back, calm down.’ I looked like a five-year-old.” The dynamic duo’s new travel show, Alison Hammond: Florida Unpacked, will have Alison conquering the sunny climes of Florida with Aidan, providing escapism, a dose of sunshine, and top-notch travel advice to make our winter a little brighter.

GK Barry’s incredible earnings revealed following I’m A Celeb and podcast success

GK Barry, real name Grace Keeling, rose to fame on TikTok before starting her successful podcast, Saving Grace. She also appeared on I’m A Celeb last year

GK Barry, real name Grace Keeling, has been raking in the cash thanks to her podcast success as well as her appearance on I’m A Celebrity.

The star quickly became a fan-favourite on IAC last year, with the internet personality forming a unique friendship with Reverend Richard Coles. She also provided viewers and campmates entertainment thanks to her witty humour, dramatic responses and friendly exterior.

The 25-year-old has been on the rise over the last few years. She first rose to fame posting funny videos on TikTok in 2020 while completing a film studies degree at Nottingham Trent University. It wasn’t long until she surpassed one million followers. In 2022, she started a podcast called Saving Grace where she chats to various celebrities.

After skyrocketing to fame, she even joined the cast of Loose Women as a panellist and went on to appear on I’m A Celeb. This year, fans were shocked to see her cameo as Vanessa in the Netflix series, Missing You. Latests accounts for her business show she has assets of over £1.2million, which is up from £484,000 in 2023.

    GK Barry
GK has raked in the cash thanks to her podcast and TV appearances

Last year, GK admitted fame wasn’t always on the vision board for her, with the star telling The Mirror it was “an entirely accidental career for me” as she hadn’t expected to go viral with her videos. She explained: “I called myself GK Barry because I didn’t want people from school or university finding my videos. I was embarrassed about it at first.

“It’s ironic – when you’re small, a lot of people will judge you for the content you are putting out. But as you start getting bigger, all those people who judged you want to become your best friend.” On I’m A Celeb, she even opened up about going from ‘poor to Porsche’ almost overnight.

Rev. Richard asked: “So Grace did you go from working in Costa to all of a sudden being able to buy a house?” The podcaster replied: “Yeah.” Continuing, Richard queried: “So you didn’t go from poor, poor, poor, a little less poor, a bit more money, you went from poor to rich?”

To which GK answered: “Yeah, pretty quick. And I remember being like, ‘I’m making enough money to buy a new car now’ and I remember a Porsche drove past me as I had that thought. I remember thinking, ‘I could buy a Porsche and it would not be an issue.’ I went to the centre, I was looking at an old one that was cheaper, but the one that I wanted was next to it and it was so nice.

“I rang my accountant and I was like, ‘Can I do it?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah’, so I bought it.”

  • Ruth Langsford breaks silence on ‘painful’ Eamonn Holmes split – ‘I don’t want to be alone’

Ruth Langsford breaks silence on ‘painful’ Eamonn Holmes split – ‘I don’t want to be alone’

Loose Women host Ruth Langsford has admitted her divorce from Eamonn Holmes is ‘painful’ in a candid new interview but also insisted she is moving on with her life

Ruth Langsford has spoken for the first time about her split from husband Eamonn Holmes – admitting it has been “very painful” but insisting she refused to “crumble” and is moving on with her life.

The Loose Women star and Eamonn announced their break up last year amidst reports they had been living separate lives for some time already. Since then Ruth has had to watch on as Eamonn began a new relationship with girlfriend Katie Alexander. Ruth said: “A break-up of a relationship is hard enough for anybody to deal with

“A divorce is very difficult and it’s very painful, but most people don’t have to do it in the public eye, with everybody having an opinion about you and writing things about you and commenting things about you. But that’s the nature of my job. I’ve always had that and if you can’t cope with that, you shouldn’t be doing this job.”

Asked how she is feeling now, Ruth added: “I’m all right. Relationship breakdowns are very difficult – marriage, friendship, whatever it is – but you just deal with it and you have to move on. You can either let yourself crumble or you pick yourself up and get on with life. It’s a choice.”

Ruth, who shares son Jack, 22, with Eamonn, added: “I’m not delighted my marriage is over but I’ve accepted that my marriage is over, so I am trying to now embrace the fact that I’m single and can make choices that are just about me.”

Ruth gave the interview to woman&home magazine with sources close to her saying she felt it was the right time to speak, choosing to promote her clothing range at the same time as touching on the break up. In the magazine, honest Ruth also says she has lost weight in part due to the divorce, which came after 14 years of marriage. Cracks had started to appear in their relationship before the formal announcement of the split and they had not been photographed together for two years.

“I have lost weight,” she said, confirming she is now a size 14. “Divorce obviously has something to do with it but I also went for a hormone check and rebalance, which helped. It could also hopefully mean that I’m coming to the end of menopause. I feel better when I’m a bit lighter.”

Admitting some self-doubt, she added: “I know I’m supposed to be empowered, look in the mirror and love my 65-year-old body. Well, I don’t always and, actually, I don’t think many women do. When I’m with my friends, we all complain about trivial stuff but it’s how we feel and that’s OK. Then, we pick ourselves up and get on with our lives because we have so much to be grateful for. We have a good moan, then another bottle of wine!”

Ruth took time off work from Loose Women when the split was first announced in May and returned in July with sources saying at the time she had been left devastated by what had happened and how quickly Eamonn moved on. Her presenting jobs on ITV and with the QVC shopping channel have helped her to look forward with a positive outlook. She said: “For a lot of people, whatever troubles you have, work is something that you have to get up and do. For me, it’s always been a good thing to dust myself down and concentrate on something else.”

She used her first interview to pay tribute to her friends who have had to help her through the split and sometimes been there during tearful late night conversations. Ruth said: “My female friendships are very important and, by God, have they stepped up. They did before, when my sister died, particularly. I’ve always known they’re there, but when the chips are down, they’re really there. They lift you up from the floor. They dry your tears, they bring food around, they phone you all the time to make sure you’re OK – and I would do the same for them. I can probably count those friends – the 2am friend – on one hand.”

By contrast to Ruth’s pain, soon after the split was announced, Eamonn was photographed with girlfriend Katie, although his friends insist they only became close after his split to Ruth. Speaking in June last year, Eamonn “I’m not OK. This is not a good time at all.” When asked about whether he and Ruth will continue to have a relationship of any kind, Eamonn added: “It’s too early to say but I hope we can still be friends.” He has since gone on holiday with his new partner Katie and has continued to work on GB News throughout the break up.

Ruth is now planning holidays herself, considering a visit to Thailand to see her best friend from school. Another option may be to go on a girls trip abroad to celebrate turning 65 as she says she would like to travel more. She said “As for the future, there is a certain feeling of liberation but I’m definitely not planning my next 10 years in finite detail!”

    Image:
Dan Kennedy for Woman and Home Magazine)Ruth also suggested she will look to date again like Eamonn when the time is right. She said: “I’m quite fine being on my own, but not forever. When you’re in a relationship, it’s easy to say, ‘Great, I’ve got a weekend to myself,’ but when you think that might be every weekend, it’s a different story.”

In the magazine she names Coronation Street actor Jacob Roberts as a celebrity crush describing him as “hot, tall and dark”. Ruth, who turns 65 in March, also speaks in the interview about her dementia fears, as both her parents had Alzheimer’s, with her dad passing away in 2002 and her beloved mum now 94.

She could be tested to see if she is more likely to suffer with the disease when she gets older but she “would rather not know” for the time being as there is currently no medication to treat it. Ruth has found some comments about her looks on social media hurtful but has no plans to go under the knife just yet.

“I’m not saying that I’ll never have a neck lift or a chin lift because, who knows? By the time I’m 68, I might not be able to stand it any more. My grandma and mum were against vanity. If ever I said to my mum, ‘My knees are so chubby,’ she’d say, ‘You’re lucky to have knees.’ Perhaps somewhere in the back of my mind I’ve got a conditioning that to do anything like that is vain. There are times when I think, ‘Am I just cutting my nose off to spite my face?’ I say I don’t want injectables or fillers but I could look great.”

Eamonn and Ruth met in 1997 when they were introduced by mutual friends and they then dated for over a decade before Eamonn popped the question and they married in 2010. Sources close to the former couple admit their divorce has not been finalised and it is unclear how much longer that will take, with one source saying they expect it will be months before they have settled everything.

Coleen Nolan wipes away tears as she pays her respects to beloved sister Linda at funeral

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan has been photographed at her beloved sister Linda Nolan’s funeral today as friends, family and fans pay tribute to the star

Coleen Nolan cut a solemn figure as she arrived at her sister Linda Nolan’s funeral today.

The Loose Women star, 59, sported an all black outfit as she arrived at St Paul’s Church in Blackpool, where Linda’s funeral is being held. The church for Linda’s funeral holds a special meaning to the beloved star – as it’s the same place where Linda exchanged vows with her “soulmate” husband, the late Brian Hudson, in the summer of 1981.

Coleen wore a black top with a long black leather skirt, and wore a black fur coat over the top of the ensemble and accessorised her look with a pair of black leather boots. She was photographed wiping away tears with a tissue as mourners gathered to pay their respects to beloved Linda.

TV star Coleen also sported pink nails, a pink handbag and a pink ribbon on the collar of her jacket, a powerful symbol of breast cancer awareness. Talented singer Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 before being given the all clear in 2011. However, she was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in 2017.

Last month the star died age 65 from double pneumonia, although her immune system had been left weakened by her secondary breast cancer and treatment. The Nolan Sisters singer was surrounded by her devoted siblings. Linda bravely planned her own funeral two years before her death, selflessly wanting to save her siblings from further heartache. And her special requests, including wanting a pink and sparkly coffin, have been honoured by her family, to ensure the showbiz legend gets the perfect send off.

A string of stars arrived at the funeral to pay tribute to Linda. Coleen’s sisters, Anne and Maureen were also seen arriving at the church in Blackpool after they paid tribute to Linda following her tragic death in January.

Linda’s devoted sisters – Anne, aged 74, Denise, 72, Maureen, 69, and Coleen, 59 – were present at her bedside, providing support and comfort during her final hours. Coleen emotionally opened up about losing Linda, sharing with The Mirror: “It’s been 10 days since my lovely sister Linda died and it’s still hard to believe she’s gone.”

As the family braced themselves for the final farewell today and laying Linda to rest alongside her husband Brian’s ashes, Coleen finds herself cherishing the last memories they made together in the hospital. She recounted: “My daughter Ciara and I sat with her and we said everything we needed to say to each other.

“She told us how much she loved us and we told her we loved her. I think she knew it would be the last time she’d see us, but there were no tears. Although she had double pneumonia and was on oxygen, she was cracking jokes, being her usual funny self and eating the chocolate people had brought her. She wanted to hear about my new grandson and I showed her lots of photos of him.”

Frankie Bridge’s green River Island outfit on Loose Women has viewers rushing to snap it up

Frankie Bridge looked flawless in a green co-ord on Friday’s Loose Women, and fans have been quick to snap up the River Island outfit after she shared a snap on social media

If ever you feel yourself stuck in a rut with your wardrobe, I highly recommend snooping on Frankie Bridge’s Instagram account. The former Saturdays singer has become an infinite source of style inspiration, and shoppers have fallen in love with one of her recent looks .

Appearing on Friday’s episode of Loose Women, the 36-year-old looked ‘stunning’ in a green tailored co-ord. Viewers rushed to compliment her ensemble, commenting on her social media post ‘This colour on you’, ‘love this outfit’ and ‘so stunning’.

Styled by Lauren Paxton, the mum-of-two wore a Khaki Tailored Shirt with the matching Khaki Pleated Wide Leg Trousers . And despite its designer-inspired appearance, Frankie’s two-piece is actually from the high street and costs less than £100.

The £49 shirt cuts a dreamy silhouette, with a utility style collar, sleek sleeves and nipping in at the waist. It’s complete with four smart buttons that give it a polished look that’s perfect for the office.

Not everyone was a fan of Frankie’s look, with one follower adding ‘oh no, not green’, but if the khaki hue isn’t for you, the co-ord also comes in beige. Both colourways are available in sizes 6-18.

Frankie paired the top with the Khaki Pleated Wide Leg Trousers , which cost £45. They boast a flattering wide leg fit with pleated detailing. But the best part? They have a secret elasticated waistband at the back for added comfort – and is also ideal if you’re between sizes.

Moreover, the trousers feature belt loops, ideal for adding a chic black or tan belt. But if you prefer, there’s also the option to go for the Khaki Belted Tailored Mini Skort, which is £35.

For something a little more relaxed, but with a similar collar, M&S has this Pure Cotton Twill Collared Short Jacket for £59 . Linda Nolan’s sister Denise Nolan-Anderson paid tribute to the late singer with an emotional eulogy, and revealed the birthday tradition they’ll remember her by

The late Linda Nolan will be remembered by her sisters every year with a very special birthday tradition. On Saturday morning, a hearse carrying her pink glittery coffin arrived at at St Paul’s Church in Blackpool as the family prepared to bid an emotional farewell to their beloved Linda.

Her sisters Anne, Maureen, Loose Women star Coleen and Denise, along with other family members, stood by as Linda’s coffin, adorned with a floral arrangement, was carried into the church. The family donned black attire, but touches of pink were visible in the form of ribbons pinned to their outfits or pink handbags they carried – a symbol of breast cancer awareness.

Denise Nolan greeted mourners at her sister’s funeralLast month, Linda died age 65 from double pneumonia, although her immune system had been left weakened by her secondary breast cancer and treatment. The Nolan Sisters singer was surrounded by her devoted siblings.

During the funeral service, mourners were told she would have “loved all the fuss”. The Faith Hill song There You’ll Be was played as the singer’s coffin was taken into the church, which was packed with mourners, including people standing at the back.

In a eulogy, her sister Denise Nolan-Anderson said: “She really loved going to premieres and opening nights, having her beautiful hair and make-up done, and always was the life and soul of any big occasion. She would have loved all the fuss today.”

She also revealed the touching way the family will mark Linda’s birthday – with her favourite drink. “We remember Bern on her birthday with Vodka mules. Linda’s will have to be Peach Melbas.”

The family added pops of pink to their outfitsShe added that singer Linda had so many friends “who adored her”. Describing her sister’s cancer diagnosis, Denise told the church: “She said the hair loss was the worst thing for her.”

She said the diagnosis, along with losing her husband Brian and sister Bernie, could have “destroyed” a lesser person. Denise added: “Not Linda, instead she chose to help raise millions for cancer research.”

She said her sister showed “courage in the face of adversity”. She concluded: “It’s time to rest now Linda. The battle is over. You are free.”

A recording of Linda singing When It’s Over was played after the eulogy.

Among the mourners were Charlotte Dawson, daughter of comedian Les Dawson, Lee Brennan from boyband 911, and Coronation Street actress Jodie Prenger.

Linda and her sisters Coleen, Bernie, Maureen, Anne and Denise formed the pop group, recording hits like Gotta Pull Myself Together and I’m In The Mood For Dancing in the late 70s and early 80s. Bernie died of breast cancer in 2013 aged 52.

Singer Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 before being given the all clear in 2011. However, she was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in 2017.
