Fashion mogul Victoria Beckham threw an opulent birthday bash recently to celebrate her 50th.
While the occasion, held at private members club Oswalds, was very much a family affair, ‘Posh Spice’ also invited a fleet of starry A-list guests.
Among those hot-footing it to the exclusive jaunt were Gordon and Tana Ramsay, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and her fiance Jason Statham,
Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek and singer Marc Anthony, who had flown in from Miami with his new wife Nadia.
But there was one guest who made a surprising appearance at the celebratory bash – enter Hollywood legend Tom Cruise.
And according to MailOnline, the Tropic Thunder actor, 61, floored fans with an impressive ‘breakdance’ routine after dinner which culminated in the splits.
While Tom’s attendance may have come as a surprise to many, he has actually known the Beckhams for 20 years.

Their friendship crystallised back in 2007 when lovebirds David and Victoria moved across the pond to Los Angeles as part of the former professional footballer’s transfer to LA Galaxy. And prior to making the big move, David divulged that he’d spoken to Tom, asking for his advice.
“I was on the phone to him for about an hour last night and the night before,” David said when addressing his new club by video-link from Madrid in January 2007. “I asked for his advice because he’s a very wise man and a very good friend of mine. He couldn’t speak any higher about LA. It’s a big help to us to have friends in LA when we arrive.”
During their time in the US, Tom and his then-wife Katie Holmes forged a friendship with the quartet regularly stepping out together in public. Meanwhile, Tom, who is an ardent football fan, was spotted at several of David’s matches.
While David hasn’t spoken at length about his friendship with Tom, he did mention him in his Netflix BECKHAM documentary. Sharing a rare glimpse inside their bond, he said: “The funny thing was that I was friends with Tom Cruise. I remember Tom turned around and said, ‘Will and I are going to throw you a party.’ I was like ‘Will?’ And he said ‘Will Smith’.”
The party in question was a lavish welcome bash held to mark the Beckhams’ arrival in Los Angeles following David’s transfer from Real Madrid. It took place at the Museum of Contemporary Art in LA, with Tom reportedly taking to the dance floor to recreate the choreography from his 1983 film Risky Business.
Other guests in attendance included Jim Carrey, Matthew Perry, Rihanna, Eva Longoria, Forest Whitaker, Serena Williams and Kerry Washington.
Recalling the party, David’s close friend David Gardner said: “It was like being in Madame Tussauds, everywhere you looked there was a famous person.”
He added: “The next minute the piano starts going and Stevie Wonder startings singing him happy birthday. And I was like ‘[expletive] this, he’s gone, we’ve lost him.’”
Beyond this, Tom, Katie, David and Victoria also made glittering group appearances at the 2008 Met Gala and at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2012.
2012 nonetheless heralded a shift in the quartet’s close friendship in the sense that it also marked the year of Tom and Katie’s divorce after five years of marriage. Following their split, the Beckhams appeared to deepen their bond with Tom and were pictured with the film star at several sporting events.
In May 2013, David and Tom watched a game between the Los Angeles Kings and the San Jose Sharks at Staples Center, while in July 2021, Tom could be seen clapping alongside David at the UEFA EURO 2020 final football match between Italy and England at Wembley Stadium.
And judging from his latest appearance at VB’s lavish bash, it seems that power couple David and Victoria have continued to rekindle their friendship with Tom.

“BECKHAM” has dominated the chart of popular shows on Netflix in 53 countries, won Top 1 globally in the series and won perfect scores on movie sites.

The second part was also successful with more than 2.8 million viewers on October 8. Looking at the numbers, we can see that the UK audience watched Netflix’s largest movie this year.

One of the biggest scandals in David’s career was his affair with former personal assistant Rebecca Loos.

Royal fans are convinced that King Charles took a swipe at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during his trip to Africa last year.
Attending a State Banquet during his visit in November 2023, the King spoke of the special significance that the country has for his family.
The monarch then gave a special mention to his eldest son and daughter-in-law, the Prince and Princess of Wales – but failed to mention his youngest son and other daughter-in-law.
This didn’t go unnoticed by royal fans, many of whom spotted that the monarch didn’t discuss Harry nor Meghan.
In his speech, the King said: “It means a great deal to my wife and myself that, in our Coronation year, our first State Visit to a Commonwealth country should bring us here to Kenya. We both take considerable pride in renewing the ties between the United Kingdom and Kenya, a country that has long held such special meaning for my family.”

He added: “Nearly 50 years later it was here, in sight of Mount Kenya, that my son, The Prince of Wales, proposed to his wife, now my beloved daughter-in-law…”
Taking to social media, fans pointed out that the King “took a shot” at the Sussexes – especially by mentioning Kate and William but not them.
One fan wrote: “Savage, he DIDN’T call HER my beloved daughter in law.”
Despite many fans taking it as swipe at the former royal couple, one fan replied: “How is this taking a shot at them? That’s just a true statement.”

Queen Camilla issues hilarious 8-word King Charles cancer update in chat with guests
Queen Camilla has let-slip King Charles’s inability to rest and recouperate from his cancer treatment in a humourous chat with guests. Speaking to attendees of a garden party at Lamb House in Rye on Thursday afternoon, she confirmed he is “getting better.”
But the 76-year-old added a little joke at the end, summing up in eight words: “Well, he would be if he behaved himself.” She also added that her husband was “quite cross” he couldn’t join her at the event.
This, she added, was because he was a big fan of author EF Benson, who used to live at the property. Camilla enjoyed a performance by actors Timothy West, 89, and Hayley Mills, 78 during her royal engagement.

King Charles’s moving gesture to support Gabriella Windsor after death of Thomas Kingston
This weekend will be particularly poignant for Lady Gabriella Windsor, as Saturday May 18 is the fifth anniversary of her wedding at St George’s Chapel, Windsor. Lady Gabriella’s husband, Thomas Kingston, tragically died from what was described as a traumatic head wound in February this year.
Mr Kingston, the husband of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent’s daughter Lady Gabriella, was found dead at his family’s country mansion on Sunday, February 25, at around 6pm. Police ruled out any third-party involvement at the time and said the circumstances were not suspicious.
The Royal Family is rallying around the family once again, this time to help support Lady Gabriella.In a supportive gesture by King Charles, Daily Mail Diary Editor, Richard Eden writes: “I can reveal that their Majesties have invited Ella, as she is known by friends, to attend the King’s Birthday Parade next month.”

Queen Camilla attended the Charleston Festival in East Sussex today, one of the country’s longest-running literature festivals.
She met with several famous authors before joining a group of local schoolchildren for a chat.
One youngster, Bess aged nine, asked the Queen: “Are there any fictional places from a book that you would like to travel to?”
Camilla responded to much laughter: “The one place I won’t be going to is the Cat in the Hat.”
“But one place I think I would love to go to is Hogwarts… I think it would be a proper magical experience.”

This is in spite of Jeremy Clarkson’s scathing column about Meghan Markle in which he said he wanted to throw excrement at her.

Prince Edward and Sophie forced to pay odd forfeit on trip to England’s smallest county
Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie of Edinburgh paid a visit to Rutland earlier this week, the smallest county in England.
On Tuesday they travelled there to see the new statue of Queen Elizabeth II, thought to be the country’s first permanent memorial to the former monarch.
Their Royal Highnesses also visited Rutland Showground, The Duke of Edinburgh Memorial Garden, and Oakham Castle where they took part in a centuries-old tradition.
Edward and Sophie presented a double horseshoe which will be hung later on the castle walls as a forfeit for having never visited before.

Never-before-seen photographs of Queen Elizabeth and other royals shared in new exhibition
Previously unseen pictures of the Royal Family are to be displayed in a new exhibition at The King’s Gallery in Buckingham Palace.
Some of the highlights include Queen Elizabeth holding Prince Edward when he was a baby, the Queen Mother’s personal copy of her daughter’s Coronation portrait and the earliest surviving colour photographic print of a member of the Royal Family.
The new display opens on Friday and charts the evolution of royal portrait photography from the 1920s to the present day through more than 150 items from the Royal Collection and Royal Archives.

King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted the Creative Industries Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.
The occasion was far less formal and traditional than most normal Palace garden parties.

Her former Suits co-star Erika Alexander believes that Meghan could run for Senator in the US.
She told The Sun: “She was doing great work as an activist, and I think she’d be a great Senator.

James Middleton is set to release his memoir later this year, which has been inspired by his late cocker spaniel Ella, and he has now released the cover.
He adopted her when he was just 20 and they were inseparable for 15 years before her death last year.
James told Tatler: “Writing this book has helped [me deal with the grief I have after Ella’s passing] by enabling me to process the journey that Ella and I went on.
“Ella was there at so many of the important moments of my life, including when I met Alizee. Our son was born after Ella passed away so Inigo never got to meet her, but it’s important to me that he knows all about her.

Paul Burrell told GB News: “They are no longer working royals. They do not represent the King or our country and they’re undermining the good work, which our royals do in Commonwealth countries.
“At royal visits, they play the national anthem. Why was the national anthem being played at their visit?
“It wasn’t a royal visit. They didin’t sing the words to it. I’m not sure whether Meghan knows all the national anthem [but] I’m sure Harry does.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘gone rogue’ with ‘unofficial royal tour’, says expert
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of “going rogue” with their trip to Nigeria.
King Charles and Prince William are said to be “absolutely furious” about the couple going on an “unofficial royal tour”, despite stepping down as working royals in 2020.
Royal author Tom Quinn said: “William is absolutely furious and determined to find a way to stop this happening in future. Charles is said to be angrier than anyone has ever seen him.
“What’s really upset the applecart is the fact that that the Nigerians treated Meghan and Harry as if they too thought this was an official tour.
“All the signs were there as the couple were greeted with dances, receptions, visits to schools and charities.”

Prince Harry appeared to be “blown away” as soon as he set eyes on future wife Meghan Markle as she arrived to the church on their wedding day, a body language expert said.
As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary, expert Darren Stanton reviewed footage of the lavish ceremony to assess what insight their behaviour offered on their relationship.
Stanton noted the Duke appeared very “nervous” as he waited for his bride-to-be to walk down the aisle in the arms of his father, the then-Prince Charles.
The days before the ceremony were marred by the first in a series of family disputes as Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, pulled out at the last minute because of ill health – and after it emerged he had struck a deal with paparazzi to have photos taken.
The body language expert said: “When Harry first saw Meghan on their wedding day, Harry was blown away. He couldn’t stop smiling and couldn’t stop looking her in the eyes.

“This shows how real their connection is. As soon as they locked eyes with each other, Harry’s body language relaxes.
“It shows how connected they are as a couple. It means that when they are together and can be themselves, but also feel comfortable when they have each other by their side.”
The expert noted the couple’s body language highlighted they are very at ease with each other and share a “trusting” relationship.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Live Casino, Stanton added: “When we look at Harry and Meghan as a couple, they are very compatible together. They balance out each other’s personalities perfectly.
“When they were having their photos taken after the ceremony, their gestures with one another showed how they have a passionate but very trusting relationship.

“They were tactile with each other, which speaks volumes about their trust levels as a couple. They know each other inside out and it comes across as completely natural.”
Harry and Meghan married at St George’s Chapel in Windsor surrounded by family, friends and several A-listers including George Clooney and Oprah Winfrey.
The pair met on a blind date in July 2016 after a common friend set them up. In the Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, the Duke revealed she caught his attention after he spotted a picture of her using the dog filter on their friend’s feed
He said: “Meghan and I met over Instagram. I was scrolling through my feed and someone who was a friend had a video of the two of them, like a Snapchat
“With dog ears. That was the first thing. I was like, ‘Who is that?’”

David Beckham says he is living with an obsessive-compulsive disorder which leaves him spending hours and hours cleaning his home every night.
It gets so much that he stay up and polishes the family’s candles long after everyone has gone to bed.
The superstar has given more details about his mental health condition after previously opening up about his battles.
David, 47, previously told fans he needs to keep everything in straight lines or pairs – but his issues actually run much deeper.
In a new Netflix series, the ex England captain spoke of his determination to make things perfect at the family’s plush £25million mansion in Holland Park, and says he knows it is ‘weird’.

OCD – a mental health condition where a person has obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours – impacts millions of people around the world.
Around 750,000 are thought to be living with severe, life-impacting and debilitating condition in the UK and the football icon is one of them.
“I clean it so well, I’m not sure it’s actually appreciated so much by my wife, in all honesty,” he said in a preview for the series.
“The fact that when everyone’s in bed I then go around, clean the candles, turn the lights on to the right setting, make sure everywhere is tidy.
“I hate coming down in the morning and there’s cups and plates and, you know, bowls. It’s tiring going around every single candle cleaning it.

“I clip the candle wax, I clean the glass, that’s my pet hate, the smoke around the inside of a candle.
He confessed: “I know, it’s weird.”
Wife Victoria tells the Netflix crew: “He’s just so perfect” before telling David he is “appreciated” by the clan.
But he then bit back: “Don’t believe that for a second. She sounds so sarcastic when she says it.”
In an interview with ITV in 2006, the footballer explained some of his mental battles.
“I have got this disorder where I have to have everything in a straight line or everything has to be in pairs,” he said.

“I’ll put my Pepsi cans in the fridge and if there’s one too many then I’ll put it in another cupboard somewhere. I’ll go into a hotel room and before I can relax, I have to move all the leaflets and all the books and put them in a drawer.”
Posh added: “He’s got that obsessive-compulsive thing where everything has to match. If you open our fridge, it’s all coordinated down either side.
“We’ve got three fridges, food in one, salad in another and drinks in the third. In the drinks one, everything is symmetrical. If there’s three cans, he’ll throw one away because it has to be an even number.”
Netflix say the new programme will look at his life from his working-class roots in east London to taking the world by storm.
It is being made by his own production company, Studio 99.
He said on Instagram : “I’m excited to confirm that I am partnering with @Netflix on a documentary series about my life and career.
“The series will feature unseen archive, untold stories as well as interviews with the people who have been a part of my journey.
“The series is directed and produced by Academy Award winners @fisherstevens and John Battsek. Watch this space… @studio99.”
Some fans think Lionel Messi was ignored by David Beckham after the two pair of footballing superstars linked up at Paris Saint-Germain’s training ground.
Former England captain Beckham spent time in the French capital this week and returned to his former team, who he played 14 times at the very end of his glittering career.
He met with Christophe Galtier’s star-studded squad and posed for pictures with the likes of Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Sergio Ramos and Marco Verratti – the only surviving player from when Beckham plied his trade at the Parc des Princes.
Beckham spoke with staff members at the Camp des Loges facility and took a picture from the entire PSG squad ahead of their clash with Lorient on Sunday.
The Manchester United legend was also presented with a shirt containing his name and the No.32 – the exact number he sported at the club.
But while Beckham was all smiles next to Messi, who has been linked with a move to his MLS franchise Inter Miami, some fans have spotted what they believe to be an awkward moment.

Just before Beckham was snapped with Messi and Verratti, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner had his hand out and one claimed he was going for a handshake that did not arrive.
“I love how Beckham ignored Messi’s handshake,” he wrote.
But another fired back, writing: “You have to be blind to see that it’s not a hand shake. He’s pointing towards the camera for the picture.”
However, it should be noted that a second video shows Beckham telling Messi “Congratulations” and the pair sharing a warm embrace.
The 47-year-old has regularly waxed lyrical about the Argentine ace and once said, “I probably decided to retire when Messi was running past me”.
Beckham only had a short-term deal with PSG and donated his entire wages to a local children’s charity. His final game was on May 18th and he received an emotional send-off when subbed off in the 81st minute of his last ever game.
