Awkward moment Meghan Markle tells woman not to pose next to Prince Harry during photo after polo tournament

THIS is the awkward moment Meghan Markle told a woman not to pose next to Prince Harry.

Harry and Meghan put on a loved-up display while attending the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Palm Beach, Miami, on Friday.

A Netflix camera crew captured every moment of the action for the Duke’s upcoming series about the sport as he stormed to victory in the tournament.

But after the event the duchess was caught ordering people where to stand as they posed for photos.

Video shows her telling a woman in a white dress to move away from her husband – insisting that she would be in the centre of the photo.

Moments previously Meghan and Harry kissed in front of the cameras as the duchess presented him with a trophy.

Harry had been on the field in a fun-loving match against his pal Figueras in a bid to raise money for his charity Sentebale.

It was all filmed for the duke’s new Netflix show about polo.

The Sussexes reportedly have two untitled non-fiction projects in production.

The first series will focus on Meghan and explore “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship”, according to Deadline.

And a second show will hone in on the couple’s love for polo.

He was spotted chatting with fellow guests beforehand, one of which called him the “quintessential networker”, as reported by the Mail Online.

“He looked the quintessential networker – shaking hands, smiling for photos. He looked in his element,” they said.

Harry and Meghan’s new shows form part of the “creative partnership” Archewell Productions signed with the streaming giant in 2020.

Meghan’s show is being produced by Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation.

The Duchess will executive produce alongside Archewell’s head of non-fiction Chanel Pysnik.

A second series will follow the couple’s polo passion.Primarily shot at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida, the project will be produced by Boardwalk Pictures.

But, Meghan’s new show has been blasted as “desperate” by royal experts.

The idea has been blasted by royal biographer Ingrid Seward.

Speaking to royal editor Matt Wilkinson on The Sun’s new show, Royal Exclusive, she said: “It’s a bit desperate. I think it is wrong to criticise it before we see it.

    HARRY AND MEGHAN’S PDA

By body lanuage expert Judi James

This body language has all the hallmarks of a full-on ‘peacocking Prince’ display for the Netflix cameras.

With his puffed chest and his wide stride as he tows his WAG along like any celebrity sportsman, Harry is seen astride his galloping horse in tight white jodhpurs and knee-high leather boots or accepting his trophy from his loving and very glamorous wife Meghan in her giant A-list shades and those killer heels that would have no place divot-stomping during the breaks in play.

Harry’s wide grin suggests he is in his element here performing a tradition of polo-playing that has allowed generations of royal men to flex their sexual credentials in public.

Harry’s PDA with Meghan as she hands him his trophy comes with a rather sweet touch of bashful humour though. Their polo kiss back in 2018 was a moment of passionate intensity but here the couple’s mirrored face to face approach suggests both even status and some like-minded synchronicity.

Their lips are puckered and their raised and rounded cheeks suggest this is a fun pose with Harry kick-starting the laughter by adopting a pose of mock modesty as he is first handed the cup.

While Harry might be playing to his strengths by producing a film on polo his body language of delight and confidence here hints that he might also enjoy basking in the spotlight in more of a sexy, heroic role too.

“But I am more skeptical about Meghan because I don’t know she knows anything about gardening.

“As for her talking about friendship that does make me feel a bit skeptical.

“She is really known for losing friends rather than gaining friends.

“To hear her talking about friendships I think that might go down a little strangely.”

The show is being produced by Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding was ‘too good to be true & they only let us down from there’, royal expert says

HARRY and Meghan’s marriage was “too good to be true”, a royal expert said.

The Sussexes will celebrate six years since their wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on Sunday.

But royal editor Ingrid Seward has detailed how the couple’s “Disneyesque” wedding saw the public initially love the Sussexes before opinion soured.

She told The Sun: “We loved them for a while and then we didn’t much anymore. Too many complaints. But they were in love and that mattered.

“Until they left and then they didn’t matter anymore. They had let the Queen down. They had let the Prince of Wales down they had let William then the Duke of Cornwall down.

“They had let us down. Harry was stoic. He loved his Californian lifestyle. He loved his wife and children.

“But he was bitter against everything he had left behind including his brother and his father and his sister-in-law, Kate.”

It comes just days after they returned to LA from a “faux-Royal tour” of Nigeria.

It was their first trip to the country as a couple, though they completed a tour of southern Africa in 2019 prior to stepping down from royal duties the following year.

The decision to live in royal exile was an extraordinary step in what has been an eventful six years of marriage.

It saw Sussexes stripped of their titles and honorary positions before moving to Montecito, California, where they now live in a $14 million mansion.

Ingrid, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, added: “If success can be judged by money. Harry’s life is a success. But he as a man is not a success.

Wills’ new role seems deliberately timed to antagonise Harry, says royal expert
“As a husband and father, he has done brilliantly. And when he and Meghan celebrate their six-year anniversary on Sunday (today) they will pat themselves on the back.

“People said it wouldn’t last and it has! Harry is no longer feted in his homeland as he once was. If anything, he is pitied.

“I don’t think Harry can see it. He is happy in his rarefied world
with Meghan doing what they do. Long may it last – and I think it
    will.”

Her comments were echoed by royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, who said Harry and Meghan appear to be “very well matched” from the outside.

But he highlighted how the Sussexes “can always do the unexpected” – a move that can be unpleasant.

Mr Fitzwilliams told The Sun: “All I can say is that the optics [of their marriage] as far as I can see seem fine.

“The two seem very well matched now, whether or not that’s a favorable comment depends, of course, on your view of them.

“And of course, she has a programme she’s doing for Netflix and Cochrane entertainments, and so forth.

“Harry, with his series on Polo. The trip to Nigeria, which as a private visit, certainly had the trappings of a sort of pro royal trip, but it went well.

“There’s no reason that it shouldn’t have – what they want to do in the future weeks and months – that is quite another question.”

Mr Fitzwilliams also highlighted how no working royals turned up for Harry’s Invictus ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral earlier this month.

He added: “Harry has, of course, had his commemorative service at St Paul’s, celebrating 10 years of Invictus.

“Very significantly the Spensers have shown support for him by turning up.

He was bitter against everything he had left behind including his brother and his father and his sister-in-law, Kate

    Ingrid SewardRoyal Expert

“No other member of the royal family turned up – whether or not they were invited is quite another matter.

“But the facts are – don’t underestimate the Sussexes – because they can always do the unexpected, whether that would be a pleasant thing to do or not that is quite another issue.

“But so far as their marriage is concerned, certainly, so far as any public optics are concerned, it seems to me that they seem very well matched.”

Harry and Meghan described their trip to Nigeria as “unforgettable” and expressed their “deepest gratitude” for the hospitality they received.

But the statement came in the backdrop of a “delinquency” row their Archewell Foundation.

The charity was allegedly ordered to stop raising money after failing to submit records – and pay a bill.

But it later insisted it is “fully compliant”.

Sussexes ‘trying to rival Royal Family’

By Sarah Grealish & Matt Wilkinson

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle are desperately trying to be rivals to the royal family to save their image, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have just returned to the US after a three-day tour of Nigeria.

The Sussexes kicked off their “faux-Royal tour” with a visit to Lightway Academy, a primary and secondary school in the capital.

They then visited Nigeria’s defence HQ on Friday to meet military wives and senior officals.

The following day Harry was snapped playing volleyball, before Meghan referred to Nigeria as “my country”.

Many royal fans were quick to point out the similarities between their trip and an official royal tour.

And now a royal expert says he believes “an alternative royal family is emerging”.

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show with Matt Wilkinson, Gareth Russell said: “To all intents and purposes that is a real possibility.

“The problem for the Sussexes is that once you start doing anything like that, people become a lot more critical of what you do outside that – like commercial endeavours or quasi-royal tours.

“People will put them under more of a microscope because they’re calling it ‘The Office of Harry and Meghan’.

“It’s interesting. I wonder is it part of a plan to pivot from some harsh headlines they’ve had in the last year or two?

“Is it maybe a slightly more social conservative direction and have themselves as royals in exile for want of a better word?

“I wonder is that them acting on advice that people don’t want to hear them criticising the royal family.”

Mr Russell now believes Harry and Meghan could be plotting more ‘faux-royal tours’ – including of the US.

He explained: “Their popularity at the moment is pretty low in America but that could change.

“Public opinion is always a bit of a rollarcoaster.

“But they absolutely could (go on a US tour) and there’s indications that they will.”

A statement added: “We have diligently investigated the situation and can confirm that The Archewell Foundation remains fully compliant and in good standing.

“Due payments were made promptly and in accordance with the IRS’s processes and procedures.

“Furthermore, all necessary paperwork had been filed by the Foundation without error or wrongdoing.”

And now Harry has hinted at more “faux Royal” tours following the trip to Nigeria.

During the trip, Meghan claimed Nigeria as “my country”, while Harry said there’s “only so much” he and and his wife can do “over Zoom”.

The duke told PEOPLE magazine: “We look forward to travelling more because the work matters.

“Whether it’s the Archewell Foundation, Invictus or any of our other causes, there will always be reasons to meet the people at the heart of our work.”

During the trip, the Sussexes were greeted by traditional dancers and met some of the primary schoolchildren.

The prince also met wounded Nigerian soldiers in the north-west of the country during the three-day visit.

Meghan Markle ‘mimicked child asking to be picked up & cuddled’ while filming for Netflix, body language expert says

A BODY language expert has said that Meghan Markle “mimicked a child asking to be picked up and cuddled” during a Netflix shoot.

Meghan was snapped alongside polo star Nacho Figueras and his family as part of a filming day for Prince Harry’s upcoming documentary about the sport.

Body language expert Judi James said that the Duchess of Sussex’s display alongside the Argentine model dubbed the ‘David Beckham of polo’, and his wife was “intensely affectionate” and a “rare illustration” of how she is around friends.

Judi explained: “‘The joys of friendship’ is said to be one of Meghan’s new Netflix shows so this body language display seems to coincide nicely with the theme.

“Meghan is known for her tactile displays and PDAs with Harry and people she supports or meets with her campaigns and causes but this is a rare illustration of her non-verbal behaviour in a more friendship-based role.

“As she approaches Nacho’s wife Delfina for a hug she extends her arms fully and holds them out rigidly in an announcement or intentional ritual that suggests intense warmth.

“The gesture is rather sweet because it is one that mimics a small child asking to be picked up and cuddled.”

And it didn’t end there, added Judi, as the pair’s “friendship rituals” were just as strong as they strolled together around the filming location in Palm Beach, Florida.

She went on: “Their smiles aren’t visible to each other but both look reflective and, as Meghan might say, ‘Joyful’.

“Their heads lean together in a gesture of trust and like-minded thinking and their arms are round each other’s torsos.”

Meghan’s encounter with Nacho was equally good-spirited even, suggests Judi, extending beyond the realms of friendship.

The expert continued: “Meghan’s greeting ritual with Nacho is also warm, more like a family ritual.

“They stand further apart but engage in eye contact with their hands on each other’s arms to make the conversation look meaningful.

“Even Meghan’s hug with their daughter is more of a close family gesture.

“Despite the fact the girl has her hands full, Meghan wraps her arms around her and even kisses her on the head.”

It seems Meghan has a long-standing friendship with the Figueras family, with Delfina (known by her maiden name Blaquier) praising her warmly in a 2022 interview.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine, the businesswoman and former athlete said: “[Meghan] is so wonderful and strong.

“Stronger than she knows. I love being around my friends, and I will always support her.”

The couple also attended the Sussexes’ wedding ceremony at Windsor Castle in 2018.

The shoot comes after an awkward moment during the Miami polo tournament, where Meghan was spotted telling a woman not to pose next to Harry.

The pair also shared a loved-up moment as they kissed in front of the cameras at the trophy presentation.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s affectionate royal nicknames revealed and Meghan & Harry have some too

PRINCE William and Kate Middleton may be the picture of elegance in public, but they do have some very sweet and affectionate nicknames for each other.

The royal couple – who share Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – are celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary this month, after meeting at university.

Prince William's nickname is said to be 'Big Willie' and Kate's is 'Babykins'

Royal editor Ingrid Seward told The Sun’s Royal Show that the Prince and Princess of Wales have some rather informal pet names for one another.

Speaking to The Sun’s Royal Correspondent Matt Wilkinson, she said: “Prince William was Big Willie, I think.

“Kate was Babykins, But people change their nicknames every time.”

Ingrid added that King Charles often refers to Queen Camilla as “darling” or “beloved.”

She added: “It’s really nice when he says ‘my beloved wife’, as he used to say with the Queen, ‘my beloved mother.’”

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who often show displays of affection during public outings, also have some sweet names for one another.

Ingrid added: “We know that Harry is ‘H’, and we know that Meghan is ‘Meg’, but there could be lots of other things.”

Meghan also has an unusual collection of family nicknames, being called “Flower” by her mum, “Bean” by her dad and is called “Tungsten” by Charles because she’s tough.

The Queen was always known as “Lilibet” because she couldn’t say her name Elizabeth when she was young, and the name was used as inspiration for Meghan and Harry’s daughter Lilibet.

The royal expert praised Prince William and Kate for having a “great relationship”, with the future king supporting his wife.

She said: “William and Kate together they have a great relationship.

“They’re quite touchy-feely, but not overly touchy-feely like Meghan and Harry, they don’t cling to each other.

“But occasionally they do and they laugh together. They laugh together a lot.

“William is very, very supportive of his wife and I know that Carol Middleton has said that to friends, ‘he’s so supportive of my daughter’, and she’s very sort of proud of him.

“It’s that mutual support they have with each other.”

    The royal line of succession

KING Charles’s oldest son is first in line to the throne.

Here’s how the line of succession stacks up as of April 2024.

    1. The Prince of Wales

    2. Prince George of Wales

    3. Princess Charlotte of Wales

    4. Prince Louis of Wales

    5. The Duke of Sussex

    6. Prince Archie of Sussex

    7. Princess Lilibet of Sussex

    8. The Duke of York

    9. Princess Beatrice, Mrs. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi

    10. Miss Sienna Mapelli Mozzi

    11. Princess Eugenie, Mrs. Jack Brooksbank

    12. Master August Brooksbank

    13. Master Ernest Brooksbank

    14. The Duke of Edinburgh

    15. Earl of Wessex

    16. The Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor

    17. The Princess Royal

    18. Mr. Peter Phillips

    19. Miss Savannah Phillips

    20. Miss Isla Phillips

William first laid eyes on his future wife as they moved into the same halls of residence, St Salvator’s – known to students as Sally’s.

The pair were both studying History of Art, but William would later swap to Geography.

It wasn’t long before the Prince would start to notice “attractive brunette” student Kate, who was dubbed by fellow students to be the “the prettiest girl in Sally’s’ during Fresher’s Week.”

Kate was even given the nickname “Beautiful Kate” by fellow students, which certainly helped to get William’s attention.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl said: “She was initially more reserved than many of the other young women, but her natural beauty was apparent.”

The pair spent increasing time together, and it was Kate’s cheeky sense of humour that captured William’s attention.

William opened up about their initial bond in 2011, saying: “We just spent more time with each other, had a good giggle, had lots of fun and realised we shared the same interests and just had a really good time.

“She’s got a really naughty sense of humour, which kind of helps me because I’ve got a really dry sense of humour, so it was good fun, we had a really good laugh and then things happened.”

He added that he “knew there was something very special” about Kate, and “there was possibly something I wanted to explore there.”

The couple tied the knot in 2011 and went on to have their three kids together.

“I think that has reached the end of the road.”

    Royal attacks

This follows Prince Harry releasing his bombshell Spare memoir, where he claimed William ‘attacked’ him in a row over Meghan Markle and said Charles pleaded with Harry and William not to ‘make his final years a misery’.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also spilled details about the royal family in their Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary.

To the shock of many it told stories of Meghan’s “jarring” first meeting with Princess Kate and Harry making digs at his father.

One insider told The Sun that the couple have reached the end of the road with bashing the royals, and said: “That period of their life is over — as there is nothing left to say.”

    Meg’s new venture

Meghan announced she is launching American Riviera Orchard last month, and teased it on Instagram.

A promotional video was released showing Meghan baking, plucking flowers and in a spectacular black dress.

And now several close pals have shared photos of their pre-launch baskets of branded jam surrounded by lemons, including fashion designer Tracy Robbins.

It is said the A-list area of California where Meghan and Harry live, Montecito, is known as the “American Riviera”, and is thought to be the inspiration behind the name.

According to a report from Page Six, Meghan’s company will focus on home, garden, food, and general lifestyle content.

The brand will reportedly sell home goods, such as cookbooks, food and kitchenware.

This follows Meghan, 42, closing her former lifestyle page, The Tig, in April 2017, shortly after she started dating Prince Harry.

The lifestyle page shared her travel, food, and fashion recommendations while she worked in the hit legal TV show Suits.

Lucie added: “She’s always modelled herself as a lifestyle curator.

“Some people seem to already want to hate this brand, but actually, I think it’s a very smart move for her.”

In addition to her American Riviera Orchard, we shared how the Duchess of Sussex is set to launch a new series on “cooking, gardening and friendship”.

The shows form part of the “creative partnership” Archewell Productions signed with the streaming giant in 2020.

What is Meghan Markle’s new business?

Meghan Markle has launched a new Instagram brand called American Riviera Orchard.

Industry insiders said the site will focus on home, food, garden and lifestyle goods.

A source told the Mail: “It’s a lifestyle and cooking brand called American Riviera Orchard.

“The brand is meant to coincide with the launch of a new cookery show for Netflix.

“Meghan will be making, and selling, products such as jams. And at some point there will be a book and blog etc.”

The first series will focus on Meghan and explore “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship”, according to Deadline.

The second series will follow the couple’s love of professional polo.

Primarily shot at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida, the project will be produced by Boardwalk Pictures.

Harry’s next step is ditching title after cutting UK ties – he only cares about awards & baseball games, experts say

PRINCE Harry’s next step is ditching his royal title after he cut ties with Britain and made the US his “new country”, an expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to California in 2020 after choosing to quit the UK and step down as working royals.

The Duke of Sussex declared the United States his ‘new country’ of residence
Harry said this year he has “considered” US citizenship, which would mean renouncing his royal titles.

And experts fear Harry’s commitment to life in Montecito could signal his willingness to take that next step.

Royal author Phil Dampier believes he may never live in the UK again and said he would not be missed.

The British public “have lost respect for him and regard him as the prince of idleness and division”, he added.

Mr Dampier also thinks Harry backdated his US residency to the exact day he and Meghan, 42, were evicted from Frogmore Cottage to make point to King Charles and brother William.

    HARRY’S VISA ROW

    The key facts:

Harry claimed in his memoir Spare he has taken coke, weed and magic mushrooms.

A conservative think tank called the Heritage Foundation say the drug use claims pull Harry’s immigration status into question.

They took the US government to court demanding the Duke’s visa application is made public, to see if he lied about his past drug use.

If he did lie, Harry could be in breach of US federal law.

Government lawyers argue say releasing such documents would breach Harry’s privacy and security.

In an update of Company House records filed this week, the Duke of Sussex, 39, declared the United States his “new country” of residence.

However, in business documents filed for his eco firm Travalyst, Harry said he been a US resident since June 29 last year.

That was the day his father King Charles — backed by Harry’s brother William — ordered him to return the keys to his Windsor bolthole.

Mr Dampier believes it is a sign that Harry — who has launched several attacks on the Royal Family — has cut ties with the UK.

He said last night: “As always with Harry a lot can be read into his actions.

“Being ousted from Frogmore Cottage wounded him deeply.

“Charles and William knew it had to be done to emphasise Harry and Meghan were outside The Firm but he probably still thought he could keep a base here.

“Now he’s shown he accepts his life is in the US.”

Harry founded Travalyst in 2019 and previously listed himself as a UK resident.

He is due to return next month for a ten-year anniversary celebration of his Invictus Games.

Last week the US government handed over his previous visa application to a court amid claims he lied on it.

Harry confessed last year to drug-taking, which must be declared.

US presidential nominee Donald Trump warned: “If he lied they’ll have to take appropriate action.”

    IT’S INEVITABLE

ROYAL Photographer Arthur Edwards, 83, told The Sun it’s “quite sad

The longtime snapper said: “It looks like he’s backdated his US residency to when he and Meghan left these shores.

“It’s another sign that he’s really cut ties with the royal family. It’s sad, but you know, I suppose it’s inevitable.

“I’ve always said that I thought Prince Harry would one day come back here and work for the royal family.

“It now looks pretty certain that he’s made his mind up that America is home and that’s where he wants to stay.”

He continued: “One day he may even apply for citizenship. That way he’ll have to give up his title – the Duke of Sussex – so he probably won’t go that far.

“But yeah it’s quite sad because Harry was a very important part of the royal family here and he was much loved.

“Everywhere we went he was just loved. He was absolutely charming and especially with children.

“He was fantastic, but that’s probably not changed. He obviously no longer wants to spend any more time here.”

Mr Edwards also said Harry only seems to care about awards and baseball games.

He said: “Harry’s coming close to 40 now – he’s no child anymore.

“Instead of going to schools and charities and helping young people with mental health, he’s going to awards ceremonies and baseball games and polo matches.

“I don’t think it’s a real life. I think he was brilliant here and gave a lot.”

Royal Photographer Arthur Edwards, 83, told The Sun it’s “quite sad” that Harry has backdated his US residency, but “inevitable”.

The longtime snapper said: “It’s another sign that he’s really cut ties with the royal family.

“I’ve always said that I thought Prince Harry would one day come back here and work for the royal family.

He continued: “One day he may even apply for citizenship. That way he’ll have to give up his title – the Duke of Sussex.”

Arthur stressed that while he may not go that far – it is still a possibility.

Sun’s Royal Photographer added: “But yeah it’s quite sad because Harry was a very important part of the royal family here and he was much loved.”

Mr Edwards also said Harry only seems to care about awards and baseball games.

Victoria Beckham shares a family photo as she celebrates Mother’s Day in the United States and expresses joy over being a mother of four: ‘I love you all so much’

Victoria Beckham took to her Instagram on Sunday to wish all mothers living in the United States a happy Mother’s Day.

The 50-year-old fashion designer uploaded a sweet snap of herself and her four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, whom she shares with former footballer David Beckham.

Victoria paid tribute to all mothers in the US by saying,: ‘Happy US Mother’s Day to all the mother figures out there, I love you all so much @davidbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven xxx.’

In the sweet tribute post, Victoria can be seen in high spirits as she posed with her four children amongst an extravagantly decorated table.

The snap appeared to be taken during her 50th birthday celebration as her son Cruz, could be seen creating the number 50 with his hands.

David Beckham was notably missing from the sweet snap, however, he previously addressed her as one of the ‘most amazing Mummy’s’ in his life when they celebrated UK Mother’s Day in March.

It comes after Nicola Peltz truly cemented the end of her ‘feud’ with mother-in-law Victoria last month as she issued a sweet message to the star.

As the Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer turned 50, she was greeted with a slew of incredibly sweet messages from family, friends and fans alike.

One stand-out message came from Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn’s actress wife Nicola, 29, who wed the superstar offspring, 25, in 2022, in which she once again silenced rumours of ill-feeling between the pair.

Nicola penned: ‘Happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham i love you so much and love being your dance partner forever’, to which Victoria swiftly responded: ‘Love you so much!!!!! Xxxxxxx kisses xxxxxxx’.

Rumours of fall out between the American beauty and Victoria emerged after Nicola’s multi-million dollar wedding in April 2022.

Whispers of ructions launched when it was claimed that Nicola refused to wear one of Victoria’s eponymous designs – instead opting for various designs from Valentino, Christian Dior and Versace.

As the wedding plans were underway, insiders alleged Victoria was displeased with Nicola’s reluctance to involve her in the plans for the lavish affair.

It was claimed the Beckhams’ took a backseat on the big day – leading to yet more fury from Victoria, with a source telling Daily Mail: ”The top table was all Peltzs and it really felt as though the Beckhams were not at the forefront…

‘There was a feeling that the wedding was all about the Peltz family, as you can imagine, as it was their house and their daughter and their son making the speeches.’

Nicola later confirmed the rumours had begun after she didn’t wear Victoria’s design. While she denied there was a ‘feud’, she explained that Victoria’s atelier simply hadn’t had time to make the dress, as she insisted: ‘No family is perfect.’

Nicola said: ‘It’s not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, ‘feud, feud, feud!?’ I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they’re labelling it feud?’

‘I think it all started, and I’ve said this before, because I didn’t end up wearing Victoria’s wedding dress, but the real truth is, I really, really wanted to wear it and I thought it was so beautiful that Brooklyn’s mom got to make that for me!…

‘And I was really excited to wear it! And I didn’t end up wearing it. But I, truthfully, was really excited to wear her dress. It makes me sad when I read things that people say I was never planning on wearing it. That’s just not true.’

Nicole and Brooklyn were hardly seen with the Beckham family in the months following, however, they have since continually quashed any speculation of a row.

In an interview with Byrdie magazine, Nicola opened up about the importance of family, as she gushed over her ‘strong support system’. She told the publication: ‘Family is everything to me, and I mean that with my whole heart…

‘I’m so close to mine and Brooklyn’s family and I think there’s no better feeling than knowing you have a strong support system. It’s such a blessing, and I never take it for granted. I go to Florida any chance I get, and we stay at my parents’ house.’

‘It honestly makes me so happy to wake up and have my siblings around. It’s really hard to get us all in the same place because there are so many of us. When we’re all together, it’s so fun.’

Nicola went on to say she felt ‘inspired’ by David and Victoria’s 25-year marriage, as well as her parents’ own 40-year union. She said: ‘Anyone who has been married for a long time, it’s such a beautiful thing,’ she says.

‘My parents have been together for maybe 40 years? And David and Victoria have been together since Brooklyn was a baby, which is like 25 years. My parents, their love inspires me every day. It sounds cheesy, but that’s how I feel.’ ‘

‘He’s [David Beckham] so amazing with Victoria, and Brooklyn is so amazing to me,’ she says. ‘I’m so thankful they raised such an incredible guy I got to marry.’

David and Victoria Beckham’s planning war rages on as neighbours say ‘enough is enough’

David and Victoria Beckham’s plans for their Cotswolds property have come under fire once again in a lengthy objection from a neighbour.

David and Victoria Beckham have received another objection to their plans to convert a barn on their Cotswolds property, with a neighbour saying “enough is enough”.

The couple have undertaken extensive work on the home, and they lodged another planning application for the estate on August 2, seeking permission to convert their barn roof space into a home office.

However, a neighbour has written a lengthy objection which supports a previous complaint, which had claimed the couple were using a “back door” way of turning the barn into a residential space.

James E Worthington supplied several pages of planning documents to support his complaint, which has been seen by Express.co.uk.

He claims that there were previous complaints about the construction of the barn, as locals suspected that ultimately their intention would be to change the use of the building.

    David and Victoria Beckham

David and Victoria Beckham have been hit with another objection to their planning applications (Image: Getty)

“There were a number of people who objected to the increase of the residential curtilage at the time and were completely ignored by the Council,” he wrote.

“Those who objected indicated it would not be long before a number of other buildings appeared on the area in which the applicants wanted to increase to residential use by first putting up a simple barn.

“Having established this footprint who would stop them increasing the building further and before long a property used for residential use.”

The incredibly detailed objection spans four pages and says that the council were warned and are now “blindsided.”

“Many people locally indicated to West Oxfordshire Council the increase in the residential curtilage of this property will see an ever-increasing number of buildings and to date we have all been proved right.

“The only people who appear to be blindsided are the Council,” he says.

Laying it out plainly he says: “This building has gone from a simple wood barn for machinery with log store to having the height, width and length increased, for what so those who will be attending evenings ‘in the greenhouse and cooking area’ can stay.

“Why would the applicants want 3 offices with a bathroom and with an area on the ground floor which sooner or later will be converted again in another planning application,” he queries.

“Many locally have said enough is enough and its about time the planners indicated this to the applicants,” he says.

Mr Worthington also objected to the couple’s earlier planning application to build an access road for the duration of the construction.

    David and Victoria Beckham

They had applied to use an existing farm track as a temporary construction access track but the couple recently withdrew this, and Mr Worthington feels that this was a wise decision.

“I note the applicants have withdrawn this application which was very wise of them,” he writes.

That application drew several complaints including one from a man called Nicholas Smith, who objected to the application in documents seen by Express.co.uk, claiming that the track they wished to use is a “public right of way”.

The complainant, who listed a London address with their objection, stated: “West Oxfordshire District Council should have not (sic) investigated this application more, if they had they would have discovered it is a public right of way and listed as a “footpath” with Oxfordshire County Council.”

Express.co.uk contacted representatives for David and Victoria Beckham who declined to comment.

The former Spice Girl admitted she wants 12-year-old Harper Seven, pictured, to understand that beauty is inside and out.

When asked if her decision to have her breast implants removed years ago is something her daughter is aware of, Victoria replied: “If I’m honest, I wish I’d never had them.

“It was a moment in time and I think I can share my experiences with her. But we’re not there just yet.”

The mum-of-four told Allure Magazine her daughter had mentioned she had a gap in her teeth and a mole: “I told her that’s your lucky gap.

“Cindy Crawford is a family friend, so I said, ‘Cindy was told to remove her mole, but that mole is what makes Cindy, Cindy Crawford’.”

Victoria added that her children have been taught to be strong and kind.

“Work hard. Be kind. Be nice. Making eye contact is important. Be polite, shake hands, those kinds of things.”

Victoria says of husband David and herself: “We’re both strict parents without wanting to stifle them too much.”

Victoria Beckham says ‘I resented him’ after David’s alleged 2003 ‘nightmare’ affair

Victoria and David Beckham attended the red carpet event for his Netflix series last night where it takes a look at his footballing career and relationship with Victoria.

Victoria Beckham has opened up for the first time about the “media circus” surrounding her relationship with David Beckham and his alleged affair in 2003.

During the highly anticipated Netflix series, David spoke about how his marriage to Victoria came under enormous pressure after he was accused of having a fling while playing in Spain.

Victoria also speaks out for the first time and claims it was the hardest time in her life and “the most unhappy I’ve ever been”.

In emotional scenes in the documentary, Victoria said: “It was the hardest period because it felt like the world was against us.

“Here’s the thing — we were against each other if I’m being completely honest. You know, up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other.

“But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either. And that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me. It was a nightmare.

“It was an absolute circus — and everyone loves it when the circus comes to town right? Unless you’re in it.”

When asked whether she “resented” David, Victoria explained that she did and explained how she “internalised” the trauma in order to support her husband.

“If I’m being totally honest, yes I did. It was the most unhappy I have ever been in my entire life. It wasn’t that I felt unheard because I was always mindful of the focus that he needed.”

The woman whom David was accused of having an affair with is not named in the four-part documentary, but headlines from the time are shown with one reading: “Sex with Becks.”

David also becomes emotional when recalling the tough time in their marriage and says: “There were some horrible stories which were difficult to deal with.

“It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage.”

When asked how they survived, David explained that they felt like they were not “losing each other” but still felt they were “drowning” as more headlines were made.

“It’s our private life. There were some days I thought, ‘How am I going to go to work? How am I going to go on that training pitch and look as if nothing is wrong?’ I felt physically sick every day when I opened my eyes. How am I going to do this?”
