Victoria Beckham’s Instagram account has been hacked — by her husband David Beckham!

 

On Saturday, May 11, the soccer star, 49, posted a video and photo on his beauty mogul wife’s account, taking her millions of followers through his morning routine, which featured a cleanser, serum and moisturizer from Victoria’s eponymous beauty brand.

“THE DAVID BECKHAM MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE,” the caption of the video began.

“My wife recently launched a cleansing duo, I like to use the @VictoriaBeckhamBeauty DAILY LACTIC ACID GEL CLEANSER. I then follow this by combining the @VictoriaBeckhamBeauty POWER SERUM with the @VictoriaBeckhamBeauty PRIMING MOISTURISER,” David, 49, continued. “That’s my skincare routine … how did I do @VictoriaBeckham? 😘 – DB x.”

The businessman, who was shirtless in the video, explained that Victoria, 50, nudges him about keeping up with his skincare.

“So, my wife will be very happy right now because I’m about to do the Victoria Beckham daily lactic acid gel cleanser,” David began narrating the video. “She’s always trying to get me to cleanse my face so… why not?”

The athlete said the product “smells good” and “feels good.”

“Let’s see how good it looks, or how good I look,” he continued, before washing the cleanser off of his face.

David joked that Victoria will probably tell him he didn’t leave the cleanser on long enough before saying that he actually does mix his wife’s serum with her moisturizer product and put it on his face every day.

“It makes a huge difference, especially when you’ve been traveling.” he said as he was applying the mixture.

 

He raved that his wife’s brand has “the best products,” before joking that the serum and moisturizer mixture “also doubles up as hand cream.”

“That will probably get edited out,” he joked with a cheeky smile.

A second post on Victoria’s Instagram grid featured a photo of David shirtless and laughing as he looked away from the camera while holding the Victoria Beckham Beauty products.

Although Victoria isn’t featured in either post, the couple spent time together recently, enjoying the colorful display of lights known as the aurora borealis when it reached their home in the U.K. on Friday, May 10. The couple shared the spectacular experience on their Instagram Stories.

As Victoria and David Beckham approach their 19th anniversary, the couple is once again battling rumors of trouble in their marriage – and speaking out to squash the speculation.

“Over the years, Victoria has fought hard for her marriage, and for David,” a source tells PEOPLE. “She never gave up when someone else might have.”

After shooting down social media speculation about a divorce, the former model and designer, who shares four children with the soccer star, 43, spoke openly about how she balances her personal and professional life.

“I try really, really hard. I try hardest to be the best mother,” Victoria, 44, said at the Forbes Women’s Summit in New York City on Tuesday, according to Hello!.

“I am trying to be the best wife and the best professional. When I get home I try to put the phone down and spend time with the children and spend time with David,” she added.

“I have the support of an incredible husband,” Victoria continued. “We really are equal with everything we do at home with the children. When I’m away he’s the one doing the school run and doing the cooking.”

Her comments come just weeks after her and David’s rep told PEOPLE that the two were not heading for divorce.

“What nonsense. Journalist Chinese whispers and fake news fueled by social media,” the rep said. “There is no impending statement, no divorce!”

The power couple, who recently attended the royal wedding together, share children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13 and daughter Harper, 6.

 

The duo met in the Manchester United players’ lounge in 1997. David was playing for the team at the time, but had not yet become one of the team’s most recognizable stars.

He has said he knew Victoria was ‘The One’ before even meeting her in person. While watching a Spice Girls music video on TV, Beckham proclaimed to a pal: “See the girl in the dark short dress? I’m going to marry her.”

The designer echoed her hubby’s statement: “Completely love at first sight. He told me he went home and wrote my [telephone] number on so many other things in case he lost it.”

 

The duo married in a lavish 1999 wedding at an Irish castle, and despite often praising each other in interviews, they went on to endure speculation about the state of their union for nearly two decades.

“We’ve had our ups and downs,” she admitted to Vogue in 2013, adding, “but we’re so proud of each other.”

Two years later, the former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer said she had effectively learned how to tune out the haters.

“I have never listened to, or commented on, the rumors about any aspect of my life,” she told Grazia magazine in regards to murmurs about a split.

“I am blessed to have a wonderful husband and beautiful, healthy, happy children,” she continued. “Yes, we travel a lot with our respective businesses and charitable commitments, but we always make time for each other as a couple and as a family. David and I have nothing to prove. We love each other, look out for each other and are strong as both partners and parents.”

She also spoke about how much she admires her husband. “My husband constantly inspires me and guides me – he has done so much good work,” she said of the man who serves as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. “I look up to him and have the utmost respect and admiration for all that he has achieved.”

In 2016, Victoria included some marriage advice in a letter addressed to her 18-year-old self published in British Vogue. “In marriage: have patience. Bite your tongue. Be supportive. And preserve a bit of mystique,” she said.

“Never let yourself go completely (at least brush your hair, clean your teeth, have a bit of a brow going on because you will always want him to look at you and feel attracted),” Victoria added.

Last year, the couple renewed their vows in a relatively private ceremony. In an interview with BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, David opened up about the special day, while also admitting that “marriage is difficult at times” as he and his wife continue to work hard at their relationship.

“We have renewed our vows since [our first wedding],” said David, who didn’t elaborate on when the ceremony took place. “It was a lot more private, about six people there in our house.”

The former soccer star said the secret to their 18-year marriage is making his relationship with Victoria a priority and working together through any hard times.

“We’re a strong family unit. We’ve got strong parents. We were brought up with the right values,” he said. “Of course you make mistakes over the years, and we all know marriage is difficult at times. It’s about working through it.”

He added, “We know each other better than anybody. People have talked about, ‘Do we stay together because it’s a brand?’ Of course not. We stay together because we love each other, because we have four amazing children.

“Do you go through tough times? Of course. That’s part of relationships. It’s part of marriages. It’s part of having children. It’s part of having responsibilities.”

Earlier this month, as rumors of a split began to circulate on social media, Victoria sent her “love” to David on Instagram with a photo of Harper.

The Sussexes recently embarked on a high-profile trip to Nigeria where Meghan in particular looked striking in an array of dazzling outfits and spoke publicly about discovering her Nigeria heritage. It was the couple’s first overseas tour since sensationally quitting as working royals and it led to speculation that Harry appeared pushed out and worried amid his wife’s star performance. But according to royal expert Duncan Larcombe, Meghan stealing the show may well play into Harry’s preference to being “second fiddle”.

He explained to OK!: “Meghan is a very strong character, very driven, extremely ambitious, and those are the kind of characteristics that mean she will almost always inevitably outshine Harry and grab the attention from him,” Duncan told us.

“Harry is entirely in her shadow. But he’s never really been at ease with the attention, he’s never really enjoyed it. Whether it’s deliberate or not, Meghan is definitely a magnet for attention. Although we saw a huge amount of money spent on her combined outfits for Nigeria so maybe it’s not a complete accident that she steals the limelight. Meanwhile, it has now been revealed that the Sussexes are already drawing up plans for more Royal-style tours – after the success of their Nigeria jaunt.

The couple were left thrilled by the reception and coverage of the three-day visit, and the couple are eyeing a possible return to Africa among their next trips around the globe. The moves come after the pair spent the past few years concentrating on life in Meghan’s native US, where they are raising their two children.

A source close to the couple told the Mirror: “The Duke and Duchess have other trips planned for the remainder of the year. They are hoping to be able to share more details in the coming weeks. It is definitely possible they could return to Africa for more tours after that.” Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, travelled to Nigeria to champion their Archewell Foundation’s mental health initiatives and promote the Invictus Games, which Nigeria competed in for the first time last year.

They also met with military leaders, injured soldiers and school kids, who all gave the pair a rapturous welcome. Meghan, who discovered she is 43 per cent Nigerian following a genealogy test in 2022, was particularly thrilled by the reception she received in Nigeria, which she described as “my country”.

Africa had already become a special place for the royal couple. They enjoyed a trip to Botswana for their third date in 2016 – a year before Harry proposed with a diamond sourced from the country. They also returned there for a longer trip to celebrate Meghan’s 36th birthday. And they carried out their first-ever royal tour together by going on a ten-day tour across South Africa, Botswana, Angola and Malawi in 2019.

Prince Harry’s relationship with senior royal family members remains fractured, with his latest London visit offering little hope for reconcilliation.

The duke cut a lonely figure during his short UK stay, as King Charles’ diary was too jam-packed for a meet-up and no royals turned up to his Invictus Games service.

But, after flying back to Britain in the wake of King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, Harry told ABC News there would be more visits to the UK, saying: “I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”

But the feeling doesn’t seem to be reciprocated, according to one expert. Asked who is hampering efforts at reconciliation between Harry and the Windsors, the BBC’s former royal correspondent Jennie Bond told Times Radio it doesn’t appear to be coming from Harry.

She said: “Early on it was Harry, who was demanding an apology. There was going to be no meeting of minds or meeting in reality until there was an apology for the affronts he thought had been made to his wife. But now I think the tables have turned somewhat. Messages coming from Harry’s side are that he’s ready at least to forgive and that he loves his family. He’s said that quite publicly. He wants to see more of them.

“But it is Charles and William who seem to be resisting reconciliation at this point so I think it was first one, then the other.”

It comes after neither Charles nor William saw Harry on his most recent trip back to London. Harry’s spokesperson confirmed he would not be meeting his father, who had a “full programme”, during his Invictus visit.

But, speaking on the podcast The Royals with Roya and Kate, Sunday Times royal editor Roya Nikkhah questioned the account – and the reason why Harry ultimately stayed in a hotel.

She claimed: “All the narrative from the moment he [Harry] touched down and we got that statement from Harry’s spokesperson saying it’s not possible for Harry to see his father, his father is too busy, he completely understands. That set the mood music for the whole week that Harry had said Pa is too busy to see me.

“I just thought something didn’t feel quite right about this, so I dug away and dug away a bit deeper and found out that actually, Harry had asked if he could stay and Charles had said yes, come and stay son. You come and stay in a royal residence, you are near where I am so it’s going to be much easier for me to see you given what’s going on with my diary and your diary.

“And that turned everything on its head because of the narrative from Harry that I wanted to see my father but he is too busy to see me. Actually the reality was Charles said yes please do come and stay in a royal gaff and that would make it much easier for me to see each other.”

In response, The Times assistant editor Kate Mansey revealed: “Someone at the palace told me that the King was bruised by that statement that Harry put out, which all plays into exactly why.”

Prince William, meanwhile, is said to be so angered by Harry and Meghan’s behaviour that he has now essentially chosen to step away from his brother altogether.

“I think as far as William is concerned, Harry really doesn’t exist,” expert Jennie Bond further noted. “William has enough pressure on his heart and his head, with his wife [ Princess of Wales ] and her ongoing cancer treatment, and his father [King Charles], his job and his kids that I don’t think he’s got any room in his soul to worry about his estranged brother…I think William has disowned Harry.”

But also weighing in on the couple’s dynamic, Dr Sona Kapur, founder of Serenity Psychological Services and a clinical psychologist, told OK! Magazine that there are usually two potential outcomes when one person overshadows the other in a relationship. If Harry is content being outpaced by Meghan, it signifies “strong self-assurance and mutual support”, though she points out this isnt always the case.

They spent the next three days immersed in planned activities such as visiting hospitals and schools, engaging in a seated volleyball session with veterans and Meghan delivering an empowering speech on women in leadership that drew significant media attention.

As official snaps of the visit began to surface, with Meghan often pictured in vibrant outfits while Harry sported solely beige or black ensembles, some suggested Harry looked uneasy and apprehensive alongside his wife. Body language specialist Darren Stanton clamed that despite the couple looking “filled with joy” at moments, Harry often appeared “worried” under the scrutinising limelight.

Dressed in a scarlet-red long dress, Meghan told the audience “I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more colour so I can fit in with all of you in your incredible fashion.”

Former Royal Editor Duncan has claimed that Meghan and Harry’s wardrobe choices would have been meticulously planned to convey specific messages. “Critics of Meghan would say she fully embraces basking in the sunshine and attention, she really is very meticulous about what she wears and how she carries herself,” he added.

The restaurant currently has four stars on Tripadvisor, with some critics slamming the place as ‘a disappointment’ whereas others revealed it was the perfect venue for a special occasion. One person left a review: “Love the location, the food was outstanding best we had in LA. Steak was to die for and so were fries.” Whilst another shared: “We wanted to have a really fun casual time in Santa Barbara / Montecito and Lucky’s is somewhere we have always liked to go but it’s gone so downhill!!”

The visit to Lucky’s comes for Meghan and Harry after they successfully completed a three day trip to Nigeria, in what some have likened to a royal tour – despite the couple no longer being working royals. It also appears there will be similar trips for Harry and Meghan on the cards in the future, as in a message thanking the people of Nigeria following their return home, they described it as “the first of many trips”.

Tracey Robbins, who dined with Meghan and Harry as they marked their milestone anniversary, was also one of the lucky people who were given a first look at Meghan’s new product range from her venture American Riviera Orchard. During the second day of the Sussexes’ whistlestop tour of Nigeria, the 42-year-old Duchess made one lucky girl’s dreams come true. As Meghan attended a training session for Nigeria: Unconquered – a charity that works in collaboration with the Invictus Games Foundation and aids the mental and physical rehabilitation of veterans – she carried out an impromptu meet and greet with numerous youngsters who were dying to chat with her, with one having always dreamt of meeting ‘Auntie Meghan’.

Donning a stunning black and white cutout silk dress, Meghan sat alongside 39-year-old Prince Harry as the duo eagerly watched numerous sports matches. Around 15 minutes into a volleyball match, the Duke eagerly joined in, with his wife enthusiastically cheering him and the other players on.

While Prince Harry took his place on the court, the spotlight was still very much on Meghan, with dozens of young fans eager to steal a moment with her. As 9-year-old Tiwa Akanbi – who has always wanted to meet ‘Auntie Meghan’ – was ushered forward to meet the Duchess, the duo enjoyed a candid conversation.

Speaking about her moment with the former Suits actress, Tiwa told PEOPLE: “She said Prince Harry loves to play volleyball and that he’s very good at it. And she asked me if I play volleyball in my school, and I said yes.”

Tiwa’s mum, Desola Akanbi, explained that her daughter’s sweet moment with the Duchess was something she had long dreamed of. Desola said: “She’s always wanted to meet her. She said last night, ‘When am I going to meet ‘Auntie Meghan?’”

Six-year-old Royalty Ojeh – the daughter of Nigeria: Unconquered’s executive director – was another child fortunate enough to exchange words with Meghan. Dressed in her best white dress, Royalty handed the Duchess – who recently found out she is 43% Nigerian – a bunch of roses.

After receiving the bouquet, Meghan then sweetly picked out one flower and handed it back to the young girl. Speaking about the heartfelt exchange, Royalty said: “She was nice”.

Peace Adetoro, a 57-year-old member of the charity, described the Sussexes as a “beautiful couple”. She gushed: “We are friends and family supporters of Harry and Meghan,” adding: “They are a beautiful couple and we love them so much. We support them 100%.”

The hidden detail in Prince Harry’s statement that hints at his relationship with Prince William has been revealed and it speaks volumes.

A royal expert has delved into the statement released when it was revealed King Charles would not be meeting Harry on his visit to the UK earlier this month. Giving extraordinary insight into the relationship between the pair, Royal historian and author Gareth Russell claims that the fact Prince William wasn’t even mentioned in the statement, spoke volumes.

Prince Harry didn’t see any other members of the royal family – including King Charles – with a spokesperson for Harry explaining this was down to the monarch’s busy schedule. The statement addressed only his father, and excluded his brother and wife Princess Catherine of Wales.

Speaking to The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Willkinson, Russell claims the fact Prince William wasn’t mentioned at all speaks volumes, saying, “That’s really interesting. I think it’s being picked up on that it almost was just taken as read that this time they wouldn’t meet, which in itself, the silence tells its own story, doesn’t it, that this time, no one expected the two of them to meet.”

Meanwhile, it was revealed Prince Harry was granted a royal request by King Charles ahead of his trip to the UK before ‘snubbing’ it, according to an expert. Harry was in his homeland earlier this month when he travelled solo from his home in California to London to attend several events connected to his successful Invictus Games. The Duke of Sussex has had a rocky bond with his royal relatives, especially his brother Prince William, after slamming them in his memoir, Spare, and in his and Meghan Markle’s infamous chat with Oprah Winfrey.

However, there had been a glimmer of hope that his relationship with his Charles had been on the road to repair – especially after father and son had a short meeting when the monarch revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer. However, when Harry came to the UK several weeks ago, his spokesperson confirmed he would not be meeting his father, who had a “full programme”.

In the latest episode of the podcast The Royals with Roya and Kate, the Sunday Times royal editor Roya Nikkhah says Harry had actually asked if he could stay at a royal residence during his UK trip – a request, which was said to have been granted by his father, but Harry ultimately stayed in a hotel.

She explained: “All the narrative from the moment he touched down and we got that statement from Harry’s spokesperson saying it’s not possible for Harry to see his father’ and ‘Harry had said his Pa is too busy to see me,” raised eyebrows with her.

“I just thought something didn’t feel quite right about this, so I dug away and dug away a bit deeper and found out that actually, Harry had asked if he could stay and Charles had said yes, come and stay son. You come and stay in a royal residence, you are near where I am so it’s going to be much easier for me to see you given what’s going on with my diary and your diary.

“And that turned everything on its head because of the narrative from Harry that I wanted to see my father but he is too busy to see me actually the reality was Charles said yes please do come and stay in a royal gaff and that would make it much easier for me to see each other.”

And in response, The Times assistant editor Kate Mansey revealed: “Someone at the palace told me that the King was bruised by that statement that Harry put out, which all plays into exactly why.”
