We should all support each other, no matter what we are going through. Sending lots of love.”
During the recent interview, Jasmine spoke about her late colleague Jonnie. It comes following the news in February that he had passed away, aged 50, more than three years since he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
After seeing some photos of them together, Jasmine said: “Looking at these old photos, it chokes me up actually.” She also shared that she had met Jonnie when they worked on the pilot episode for A Place in the Sun two decades ago.
She said: “We didn’t always film together cause we were always in different countries but we used to get together at [events for the show] all the time. We became good friends.” Reflecting on her loss, she said: “It’s really a hard time…”

I mean, it’s only been a matter of months since Jonnie passed away and the loss of a friend is a very particular … I mean, all loss is difficult, but the loss of a friend going back 20 years is a very particular loss, isn’t it? I don’t know, because one reflects on your life.”
Jasmine agreed, saying: “Absolutely and I think you y’know you never know what’s around the corner and I think Jonnie’s situation, we can all take something from it.” She then appeared teary-eyed and was given a tissue by Denise.
Further sharing her thoughts, Jasmine said moments later whilst on the panel of the ITV show: “We can all just cherish every day and live with as much joy as possible, and that’s what he did.” She also thanked fans for their support.

Saddened Katie Price reaches out to Ruth Langsford after shock split from Eamonn Holmes

Katie Price has labelled Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes as her “favourite couple ever” as she shared her plans to reach out to the pair following their split
Katie Price has voiced her feelings for Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes in light of their recent separation.
Former glamour model Katie, 46, once branded them the former This Morning presenters as her “favourite couple ever.” Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she went on to explain her intentions of reaching out to both hosts.
“I really want to reach out to Ruth, and Eamonn, but I’m sure they’ve been getting so many messages that mine would be diluted.” Her affection for the pair didn’t end there, as after she revealed her love for both, her sister and co-podcast host Sophie chimed in: “I like them, they’re always so nice to you as well.”
Not holding back, Katie responded: “They are so genuine on and off [camera]. They are so funny off-camera. They’re normal down-to-earth, not up their a***, they’re just really nice genuine people that I would hang out with and have dinner with. They are so nice.”

An hour into his starting show, he mentioned his marriage break up to viewers: “I’d like to thank people for their support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation. Your support for both of us is very much appreciated.”
While Eamonn has made a comeback to work, Ruth has been noticeably missing from this week’s Loose Women episodes, opting to take a “step back” from the programme. She did, however, post a picture of herself at QVC, where she holds another presenting gig.
The beloved duo gained fame co-hosting ITV’s This Morning, with their romance sparking back in 1997 after being set up by a mutual friend. They exchanged vows in 2010 following a relationship spanning more than a decade detail Ruth once shared on Loose Women in 2016, noting they had been together a “long, long time” before deciding to tie the knot. Throughout their 27 years together, they welcomed their son Jack.
Eamonn is also dad to three grown-up children from his previous marriage. Rumours about their marital status have been swirling for some time, with eagle-eyed fans picking up on their reduced social media presence together.
In a joint statement released on Saturday, they confirmed the end of their marriage, saying: “[They] have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

A portrait of Prince Harry and Meghan has been accepted into the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery in London, whose patron is the Princess of Wales.
The news was revealed by Misan Harriman, who has become the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes go-to photographer.
He posted several images on social media showing him signing the picture with the message: ‘I am humbled and proud to announce that my portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is now part of the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery.
‘Dare to dream folks!’ The image was one of a series he took in September 2022 when the couple attended the opening of the One Young World summit in Manchester.
It shows them holding hands and dramatically looking into the distance – and is also notable for its lighting and soft focus.

Her first solo public engagement was the opening of the Lucian Freud Portraits exhibition at the gallery’s London home.
She later collaborated with the NPG for her lockdown photography project, Hold Still.

Loose Women viewers were left reeling after Gloria Hunniford delivered a brutal four-word dig to her co-star Denise Welch, a day after her explosive clash with a guest over Meghan Markle
Loose Women star Gloria Hunniford caught viewers off guard with a sharp four-word jibe towards co-star Denise Welch following her clash with a show guest.
Monday’s episode was hosted by Coleen Nolan, who was joined by panelists Gloria, Denise, and Brenda Edwards. However, they saw an unexpected bite from Gloria as Denise revealed her desire to leave the UK. As they chatted about how the Bank Holiday weather was affecting everyone’s moods, Gloria passionately declared her affection for the UK.
She stated: “I tell you what though… I wouldn’t live anywhere else. Simple as that. Because I could live in the sunshine.” Denise countered with: “I would.” Suddenly, Gloria hit back with a pointed remark: “When are you going?,” leaving the audience visibly shocked and Denise momentarily tongue-tied, managing only laughter in reply to the playful dig.

Brenda joined in with a surprised: “Wow!” Viewers quickly took to social media to share their thoughts on the spicy dialogue, with one viewer remarking: “Gloria’s on fire today! ! #loosewomen.” Another added: “Oh wow, when said Gloria. When is Denise leaving?? #loosewomen.” Someone else perfectly captured the moment with one word: “Miaow!”.Denise further explained: “There’s lots I love about this country but if I didn’t have my grandson now, I think I could leave.” Gloria, ever the optimistic one, reacted: “See now lots of reasons to stay,” and took a moment to reflect on the global situation. She said: “When you look at the world and other countries, you think, ‘This is not bad… the weather is.’”.
With a touch of resignation, Denise remarked: “Used to be – not now.” The show’s host, Coleen, tried to change the direction of the chat towards more positive areas, suggesting: “Anyway, onto to some feel good news please.” Earlier in the week, Denise shocked viewers as she ripped into a TV star live on the show.

Denise clashed with Dickie Arbiter earlier this week on Loose Women (

The Loose Women panellist was seething on Monday when Dickie Arbiter, former press secretary to the late Queen Elizabeth II and to King Charles III before he was crowned last year, was in the studio to speak about the monarch’s cancer battle. Dickie decided to address the elephant in the room – can the monarch ever repair his strained relationship with his son, Prince Harry?Denise insisted she thought Meghan and Harry’s decision to leave Windsor and Frogmore Cottage behind was nothing short of logical. “If I may say, do you not think there is a reason why Harry did such a thing?”, she asked. Denise then summarised the heartbreak surrounding King Charles III’s family, wounds first stemming from the monarch’s marriage with Lady Diana “when he was in love with Camilla.”
“It ruined a lot of Diana’s life”, Denise claimed. The former Coronation Street star then recalled how Harry walked publicly behind his mother’s coffin and accepted Queen Camilla as his stepmother. “Then he has a wife who is completely and continually trashed by the media, including your good self”, Denise added while turning to Dickie. “I am just sick to death of the bashing that this woman gets (…) we continually berate this woman every day.” Denise furiously doubled down: “Why would they not walk out? Why would they want to spend their life in a country that hated them?”

Loose Women kicked off Monday’s episode with Judi Love revealing what really happened at Sunday’s BAFTA TV awards after she was filmed looking unimpressed in the crowd as everyone clapped Lorraine Kelly for her win
Judi Love has revealed Lorraine Kelly’s honest response after she was caught looking unimpressed in the crowd as everyone clapped the Scottish presenter for her special win at Sunday’s BAFTA TV awards.
Kicking off Monday’s Loose Women, Judi, 43, who spoke out before the ITV chat show airing, revealed what really happened and Lorraine’s, 64, response after she saw her at the ITV studios earlier today (13 May).
Judi explained: “You know what, my dress was very tight, I was trying to sit like a lady. The camera was right there, I thought: ‘Okay, this is your moment’ you know it’s going to be on TV, so I just always get prepared.
“I was trying to be regal, the thing is, I stood up and gave Lorraine a standing ovation. They showed the bit with Andi standing up but missed me out, only showing me going…” as she recreated the face.

“She said: ‘Judi!’, the Queen that she is. I went: ‘Oh my God, babes, have you seen the meme, have you seen the side eye?’ She was like: ‘Oh, seen it, I know you, love you, you love me, I’m good.’ So we did our own version to all the people who tried to make this something it wasn’t.”
Lorraine had taken to the stage to receive her award on Sunday night to mark her 40 years on TV, which was handed to her by Succession star Brian Cox. As she bowed out of her acceptance speech, Lorraine cheerfully quipped: “I’m on the telly tomorrow, but I’m going to celebrate tonight. Thank you so much!”
Cameras then showed I’m A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec grinning cheerfully while clapping away. Then The Sixth Commandment star Anne Reid was shown politely clapping along.

The moment was seized upon by those watching the awards show from home – sparking a flurry of amused commentary.Prior to Loose Women, Judi had the perfect response to the viral moment in a cheeky social media post. Taking to Instagram, she shared a clip of the moment and wrote: “After last night incident and now this morning becoming international news! I’d like to make an official statement.. Swipe left! @lorraine @lorrainekellysmith.”

Loose Women’s Denise Welch shows off ageless figure in plunging swimsuit as she shrugs off Ofcom row
Former Coronation Street star Denise Welch, 63, has been soaking up the sun in Greece after her ITV show Loose Women was hit with hundreds of Ofcom complaints
Loose Women star Denise Welch didn’t let recent Ofcom complaints dampen her spirits as she showcased her fabulous figure in a form-fitting swimsuit. The TV host jetted off to Greece for some sunshine, just days after it was revealed that the broadcasting watchdog had received 263 complaints about a discussion on the Royal Family on her ITV show.
She appeared to have left all the drama behind as she struck a pose on deck and made the most of her time away from the spotlight. Documenting her holiday on social media, an Instagram snap showed Denise in a daring black swimming costume with a dramatic plunge neckline. Sporting black wedges and striking a pose with one knee bent on the back of a chair, she looked stunning.
The star had painted her nails red to match her lipstick and looked incredibly glamorous and significantly younger than her 65 years as she threw her head back and rested one hand on her stomach. “Yes it’s the perch comfortably on the edge of the chair moment! ! ” she joked, adding the hashtag “#rhodes” to her post.

One follower wrote: “You never miss Denise! This pose is everything.” “Omg you look so slinky… wish I looked like this,” confessed another. Another fan dubbed the TV star “a babe”. “Oh my goodness Denise, you look lush hun! ! ! ” exclaimed another admirer.
Loose Women faced a backlash from viewers following an episode that aired on May 6, which saw Denise defending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, leading to a heated exchange with guest Dickie Arbiter, the former press secretary to the late Queen and King Charles.
In the conversation, Dickie brought up Harry’s memoir, Spare, and stated: “[Prince] Harry has been rubbishing the family since he walked out in 2020.”

Loose Women Denise Welch looked sensational as she jetted off for a well deserved holiday just days after being slammed with 103 Ofcom complaints (
Image:
ITV1)Denise retorted: “Do you not think there is a reason why [he] did such a thing? ” She then referenced events from Prince Harry’s life, including the death of his mother Princess Diana when he was just a child. Then he has a wife who is continually trashed by the media, including your good self, if I may say – when she is on a world stage, doing a lot of good for a lot of people. I am just sick to death of the bashing that this woman gets.”
Following the influx of complaints, Denise took to Instagram to express her support for Meghan, stating she was “appalled that this woman is abused and berated by the public and media on a daily basis”. “Not many people could mentally cope with the hate she contends with,” she added. “No wonder her husband took her away and despite everything they are thriving. Their reception in Nigeria has been wonderful to see. She concluded: “Last week I defended them against one of their detractors on TV and received 103 complaints from Ofcom! ! ! Good. Also utterly pathetic.”
