Matty Healy’s future wife has poked fun at the current trend of ‘hot rodent boyfriends’ and those who are adamant who fiancé looks like a rat.

Gabbriette, who recently announced her engagement to The 1975 frontman, took to social media on Wednesday night to share a series of celebrity men who have been described as ‘Ratatouille coded’ – with her boyfriend Matty the lead example.

During his brief fling with Taylor Swift last year, Matty, eldest son of Loose Women star Denise Welch, was cruelly dubbed ‘Ratty Healy’ by many angry Swifties who felt their idol should have been dating someone more suitable to their tastes.

But it appears the future Mrs Healy, who has an adorable pet rat, is all for the rodent lifestyle. Posting on her Instagram Stories, Gabbriette shared several slides from Glamour Germany’s recent post centred about famous ‘hot rodent boyfriends’.

In the publication’s post, Matty is used for the cover image, alongside Timothée Chalamet and Challengers actor Josh O’Connor, with snaps of Irish actor Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter at the Met Gala, Zendaya and her boyfriend Tom Holland and Gabbriette and her pet rat making up the rest of the snaps.

“Gabbriette posting this is hilarious,” one Instagram user quipped in the comments, with another quipping: “Gabriette just cracked me up for posting this.” Another poked fun of the fact Gabbriette’s couple pic featured her pet rat rather than Matty. “Do Matty and Gabbriette have no pictures together?lmaooo,” they wrote, with another joking: “Ugh Matty looks so hot on the last pic.”

Denise Welch excitedly confirmed her son engagement during Wednesday’s instalment of Loose Women, gushing that Gabbriette has “everything she wants in a daughter-in-law.” The former Coronation Street actress spilled the beans on the engagement after Matty posted an Instagram photo of his girlfriend sporting a huge black diamond rock on her ring finger.

The real reason for Ruth and Eamonn’s split was revealed by the Mirror. Friends close to the Loose Women presenter – who is taking time away from the ITV show to deal with the breakdown of her marriage – revealed that there is no going back for the couple. Ruth is taking the rest of the month off work while Eamonn has already resumed GB News presenting duties. She has been left “hurt” after finding out her husband is being consoled by another woman with whom he’s been on a string of outings.

The woman, who is in her forties, struck up a friendship with Eamonn over the past couple of years and he is said to have taken her to a safari park, a Manchester United game and a Beyonce gig. A friend of Ruth said: “Ruth was hurt when she learned about Eamonn’s friendship with another woman but she is strong and she will be back soon with a smile on her face, putting her best foot forward, as she always does. “A few of the Loose Women panel are worried too, as so many new faces have been brought in and some have worked better than others,” a source told The Sun. The source went on to state that the likes of This Morning’s Dermot O’Leary and Good Morning Britain’s Adil Ray are on year-long contracts so “theoretically most likely to be in the firing line.”

They added: “Dermot polls really well with viewers and absolutely no one wants him to go anywhere, so he’ll be safe. A few of the Loose Women panel are worried too, as so many new faces have been brought in and some have worked better than others.” The source went on to describe Good Morning Britain, ITV’s flagship news programme as “pretty frenetic”.

However, a spokesperson for ITV told the Mirror: “This isn’t true. ITV’s Daytime shows have never had a better connection with viewers reaching 7.5 million weekly. They are amongst the most popular on ITVX and reach millions more across digital platforms. Furthermore, we are very proud of our teams, both on and off screen, who produce seven and half hours of brilliant live content every weekday.”

ITV recently announced that 200 jobs are to be cut in a bid to save £50million per year. Those working on the likes of This Morning and Good Morning Britain have also had their salaries frozen according to the outlet. It’s believed that Cat Deeley and Dermot O’Leary have a salary of a whopping £550,000 after taking over from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Meanwhile, Susanna Reid is said to be on an eye-watering £1.1 million per year contract. The drop in ratings is said to have triggered bosses to call Town Hall meetings with staff across the programmes. A spokesperson for ITV said: “Town hall meetings happen frequently for teams to keep up to date with company news and also serve as an opportunity for staff to have questions answered.

“The latest one was to celebrate the success of Lorraine Kelly receiving a BAFTA Special Recognition Award and the two BAFTA nominations for Daytime last weekend. It was also a transparent portrayal of what is currently happening across the industry.”

Loose Women’s Ruth had opened up about her heartbreaking moment when Jack left home for university, describing it as if her heart “had been ripped out.”

Speaking on Daily Mail’s Palace Confidential podcast, royal reporter Charlotte Griffiths said: “It’s really sad but it’s hard to imagine Harry on a balcony now.

“Meghan’s first Trooping the Colour with Harry today on and there’s a video and he was he really came to life on the balcony and he was showing her how it’s done and where to look and she actually had a very awkward exchange with the Princess of Wales.”

She said Harry looked like he “took a lot of pride” in showing Meghan her first and last appearance on the balcony at Buckingham Palace.

Griffiths said she can’t see either the Duke or Duchess of Sussex returning to London to take part in this years, or future Trooping the Colour celebrations with the rest of the Firm.

But despite this, royal editor Richard Eden said there is an “open invitation” for the couple to “attend any big royal events”.

However, it is unlikely they will make an appearance at any of these events as “they realise they’re not wanted,” Eden said.

He said: “They need to face facts that they’re just not wanted there and I don’t think any other members of the Royal Family want to see them.

He wants to know them and be involved with their lives while they are still young enough to be able to learn from his wisdom. His cancer has made it all the more poignant to him as he knows that he won’t be around forever.”

To outsiders, the guilt may seem misplaced. The Birds of A Feather star began to spiral in 2018 after a bad reaction to diazepam, prescribed to help her sleep. It led to a nervous breakdown, OCD and heavy boozing before a long road to recovery.

But though back to her “old self”, Linda will never again have the same family – as she has split from Mark, the father of her children Louis, 32, and Bobbie, 28. She says there was nothing dramatic about the split though. They simply grew apart, she says, adding: “People do, sometimes, don’t they? We never had that much in common. I’m very sociable. Mark never enjoyed that side of things.”

What kept them together for so long, she believes, was their children – and she’s quick to point out that Mark has always been “an amazing dad”. “I’ve been sad about it, of course I have,” she says. “But we had two lovely children together. Linda and Mark are planning to sell the period home they shared in Islington, Central London, and Linda is getting a two-bed home nearby, so she can be near the kids. But while she’s officially single again, Linda is not looking for another relationship.

Linda’s full interview and shoot is in this week’s OK! magazine“No, no, no!” she squeals. “I don’t need a man. I’ve got my friends and my family. I’m not interested in dating, I’m too old now. I can’t be bothered with all that ‘jiggy jiggy’.” Speaking of which, Linda’s mischievous actress pal Denise Welch bought her a vibrator last year, having realised her friend had never owned one. “I was like, what the hell do I do with this?,” she says. “What if the kids find it?! So I ended up giving that away!”

Linda is sharing her new beginning in her memoir Truth Be Told: Tales from a Baggy Mouth, which was an emotional but therapeutic experience to write. In it, Linda charts her fascinating life, from growing up in a working-class family in Islington to becoming one of Britain’s most adored TV stars.

She also reveals she has only been in love twice, first with boyfriend Tony Tyler, with whom she had daughter Lauren, then Mark. She has come a long way from her darkest days when, as she admits in the book, she “didn’t feel like she could carry on”. “It’s true,” she nods. “But I’m still here.”

Linda adds: “If anyone had told me I’d have a nervous breakdown, I’d have gone, ‘Me? Are you mad?!’ I’ve learned a lot about mental health. I never thought about it before what happened to me. I think a lot about it now. I’m just so relieved to be back to my old self.”

Two weeks ago, her kids and grandchildren took her out to mark four years since returning to Loose Women alongside co-stars such as Jane Moore, Nadia Sawalha and Kelly Holmes.

Linda’s struggle began in January 2017 when she quit her nightly bottle of wine after an item on Loose Women.

Going cold turkey meant she had to up her sleeping pills to sleep, only for the doctor to switch them to diazepam, which caused a bad reaction and sparked her downward spiral.

Her OCD spiralled out of control. She was having five baths a day, had to change the bed and empty the bin continuously, had to carry a toothbrush everywhere and had to keep her phone at exactly 100% .

A Royal family expert and insider has said that Prince Harry will have to apologise to Queen Camilla in order to receive his Father’s forgiveness.

Appearing on Tuesday’s instalment of Loose Women, Royal insider Ingrid Seward shared her thoughts on Prince Harry’s complicated relationship with his father, King Charles, who has sadly been diagnosed with cancer.

Speaking on the panel this afternoon, Ingrid told Loose Women star Coleen Nolan that she thinks the King would ‘certainly like for there to be a reconciliation’ with his son who recently flew back to the UK to be by his father’s side after learning about his cancer battle.

However, Ingrid suggested that in order for them to fully mend their relationship, Prince Harry will have to issue a grovelling apology to King Charles’ wife following the revelations he made about her in his memoir titled Spare.

In Harry’s controversial book, he alleged Camilla, 76, had leaked stories about the Royal family to the media in a drive to transform her image. “I have complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar,” he penned.

Sharing her thoughts on Prince Harry and King Charles’ increasingly complicated relationship as father and son, ingrid said: “I think Harry’s father would like there to be some reconciliation, but I think that in order for that to happen, Harry has to apologise to his step-mother. He has to apologise to Camilla once and for all.

“She’s the sort of woman that wouldn’t want to ask for it, but I think an apology might really be necessary at this stage,” she added.

After Harry’s fleeting visit to the UK, where he is believed to have spent 30 minutes with his father before flying back to his wife Meghan Markle in the US, the Royal expert believes that Camilla was the driving force behind getting Harry back on British soil.

“I do believe she would have been the one to invite him back to spend time with his father,” she suggested. “People must understand that Harry has his own commitments but made it his priority to be with his ill father.”

The announcement, which revealed that King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer, has come as a shock to many in Britain, largely because the 75-year-old monarch has generally enjoyed good health through the years.

Palace officials have not specified what kind of cancer the King has, or how serious his condition is. It was only announced that the mass was discovered during the King’s recent hospital treatment for an enlarged prostate, but the type of cancer he has is not prostate cancer.

Charles — who came to the throne after his mother Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022 — has started a schedule of regular treatments and will postpone public-facing duties
