ITV Loose Women’s Gloria Hunniford issues four word dig at Denise Welch after she ripped into guest

Loose Women viewers were left reeling after Gloria Hunniford delivered a brutal four-word dig to her co-star Denise Welch, a day after her explosive clash with a guest over Meghan Markle

Loose Women star Gloria Hunniford caught viewers off guard with a sharp four-word jibe towards co-star Denise Welch following her clash with a show guest.

Monday’s episode was hosted by Coleen Nolan, who was joined by panelists Gloria, Denise, and Brenda Edwards. However, they saw an unexpected bite from Gloria as Denise revealed her desire to leave the UK. As they chatted about how the Bank Holiday weather was affecting everyone’s moods, Gloria passionately declared her affection for the UK.

She stated: “I tell you what though… I wouldn’t live anywhere else. Simple as that. Because I could live in the sunshine.” Denise countered with: “I would.” Suddenly, Gloria hit back with a pointed remark: “When are you going?,” leaving the audience visibly shocked and Denise momentarily tongue-tied, managing only laughter in reply to the playful dig.

Brenda joined in with a surprised: “Wow!” Viewers quickly took to social media to share their thoughts on the spicy dialogue, with one viewer remarking: “Gloria’s on fire today! ! #loosewomen.” Another added: “Oh wow, when said Gloria. When is Denise leaving?? #loosewomen.” Someone else perfectly captured the moment with one word: “Miaow!”.

Denise further explained: “There’s lots I love about this country but if I didn’t have my grandson now, I think I could leave.” Gloria, ever the optimistic one, reacted: “See now lots of reasons to stay,” and took a moment to reflect on the global situation. She said: “When you look at the world and other countries, you think, ‘This is not bad… the weather is.’”.

With a touch of resignation, Denise remarked: “Used to be – not now.” The show’s host, Coleen, tried to change the direction of the chat towards more positive areas, suggesting: “Anyway, onto to some feel good news please.” Earlier in the week, Denise shocked viewers as she ripped into a TV star live on the show.

The Loose Women panellist was seething on Monday when Dickie Arbiter, former press secretary to the late Queen Elizabeth II and to King Charles III before he was crowned last year, was in the studio to speak about the monarch’s cancer battle. Dickie decided to address the elephant in the room – can the monarch ever repair his strained relationship with his son, Prince Harry?

Denise insisted she thought Meghan and Harry’s decision to leave Windsor and Frogmore Cottage behind was nothing short of logical. “If I may say, do you not think there is a reason why Harry did such a thing?”, she asked. Denise then summarised the heartbreak surrounding King Charles III’s family, wounds first stemming from the monarch’s marriage with Lady Diana “when he was in love with Camilla.”

“It ruined a lot of Diana’s life”, Denise claimed. The former Coronation Street star then recalled how Harry walked publicly behind his mother’s coffin and accepted Queen Camilla as his stepmother. “Then he has a wife who is completely and continually trashed by the media, including your good self”, Denise added while turning to Dickie. “I am just sick to death of the bashing that this woman gets (…) we continually berate this woman every day.” Denise furiously doubled down: “Why would they not walk out? Why would they want to spend their life in a country that hated them?”

EXCLUSIVE: David and Victoria Beckham ‘lived separate lives’ and ‘barely spoke’ as marriage hit crisis-point

Tom Bower’s explosive new book The House of Beckham, as serialised in The Mirror, has taken a look inside David and Victoria Beckham’s marriage troubles

David and Victoria Beckham lived separate lives as their marriage hit crisis-point, an explosive new book claims.

The pair were allegedly so estranged they barely spoke and instead just maintained a “distant business relationship”. The animosity between the couple was so bad eight years ago that each of their publicists “fed negative stories” about the other, author Tom Bower claims.

In an extraordinary twist, Beckham even allegedly accused his wife and her publicist of “waging a media war” against him. But the pair ultimately stayed together and worked through their issues, just as they had after their marriage was rocked the first time by Rebecca Loos ‘ claims of an affair with the footballer.

“Although the Beckhams could not hide their separate lives, they stuck together to support the Brand,” Bower claims. Bower’s book The House of Beckham paints a vastly different picture to that of the Netflix documentary, which was exec-produced by David’s production house.

While the pair alluded to the marriage problems in the wake of Loos’ allegations, more recent woes were ignored. Serious cracks in the marriage began opening up in 2016 with the couple spending increasingly larger amounts of time apart with David in Miami and Posh in London.

Bower writes: “During London Fashion Week that year, she asked Beckham to return to London for a dinner in her Dover Street shop. By the end of the celebration she must have wished he had stayed in America.

“Morosely, he sat staring at her guests. Some whispered that the two had been embroiled earlier in a foul-mouthed row.” Later that evening Beckham was seen at Heathrow taking a late flight to New York.

Two years later, it’s claimed the situation hadn’t improved and in many instances, had deteriorated. By this stage, Bower claims that both Posh and Becks were the subject of negative briefings – by their other half’s publicists.

“Reflecting the acrimony between the Beckhams, the two publicists began to compete rather than collaborate to promote their own client,” the book claims. “Both fed negative stories about the other side to their favourite tabloid journalists.”

One such planted story involved “an extraordinary exchange that had occurred during the Beckhams’ summer holidays” in which Victoria had reportedly told her children: “Daddy’s not a cheat.”

“Reading the newspaper report, Beckham raged that Victoria and her publicist were waging a media war against him,” the book claims. “In reality, he was doing a good job of self-inflicted harm.”

Another low point in the marriage came when David gave an interview to an Australian broadcaster in which he admitted that their marriage was “hard work”. Victoria’s publicist reportedly leaked to a favoured journalist how she was left “overwhelmed by rage and recrimination”.

Jane McDonald says Lynda Bellingham is still ‘guiding her life’ from beyond the grave

Jane McDonald has revealed that she believes her late Loose Women co-star Lynda Bellingham – who died of cancer in 2014 – continues to ‘guide her life’ many years after her death

Jane McDonald says she believes the late Lynda Bellingham is still guiding her life in some ways years after her death.

Singer and TV star Jane, 61, appeared on Loose Women from 2004 until 2010 alongside Lynda and says she gave her other career breaks along the way.

The pair were very close friends when Lynda died in 2014 from cancer.

Jane said: “I owe such a lot to Lynda because she asked me to take over her Birmingham panto for that year when she was poorly. Thank goodness I did because through that I got Cats[Musical she appeared on stage in 2015], then through Cats and getting the vocal training that I did, that’s when my voice changed, and I went on to be able to sing just about anything – that’s all through Lynda.

“So I still think Lynda’s guiding us all in our own ways. Her and I became really, really good friends over the years of Loose Women. I’ll always be grateful to Lynda for guiding me a little bit because she was the first person that interviewed Ed for the job as my boyfriend. She says I need to see this guy, and the first thing she said to him, what are your intentions to my friend?”

Jane also told the White Wine Question time podcast(PLS REF) about her grief losing her partner Ed and how she struggled going on tour so soon after he died in March 2021. Musician Eddie Rothe and Jane had dated briefly in their teens and then rekindled the romance in 2008 but he died of lung cancer 13 years later.

Jane told the podcast: “We had the best 13 years. I think that’s why I’m in such a good place now, because I had the best time with that man, and I am blessed to have had that time with Ed. I was going to retire with Ed after lockdown so everything that I’m doing now, Kate, I think is a gift. He was a very, very special partner and not many people can say they’ve had that absolute love.”

She added: “I’d sold out a tour just after it all happened, and it gave me something to do, I think we all need to just carry on as much as we can. Obviously the emotion goes through your throat and I did lose it quite a lot on that last tour because I wasn’t in a very good place. Whereas now, with this tour, I’m in a totally different place and this is my thanks to everyone for propping me up when it all went wrong.”

Jane is now heading out on a new tour called With All My Love. She says it is “about finding love wherever you can find it” be it a partner or a pet or a friend.

Prince Harry warned key thing he loves about Meghan Markle ‘for now’ may not stand test of time

Megjson Markle has been described as ‘dominant’ in her marriage to Prince Harry, who has been branded a ‘lost little boy’ alongside his wife, according to a Royal commentator

Prince Harry has been warned one of the key things about Meghan Markle that made him fall in love with his wife may not stand the test of time.

That’s according to a royal expert, who portrayed the Duke of Sussex as “a lost little boy” with Meghan who “compensates for his own weakness”. The expert has analysed their relationship dynamic, cautioning that Meghan’s ‘dominant’ personality may not always be beneficial to their marriage. The pair, married since 2018, stepped back from their Royal duties in 2020 and recently marked their sixth wedding anniversary. They currently reside in Montecito, California, and are parents to two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Tom Quinn, a Royal author and expert, told The Mirror : “No one has ever doubted that Harry and Meghan do not have an equal partnership when Harry famously said, ‘what Meghan wants Meghan gets,’ he neatly summed up the situation. Harry has always come across as a lost little boy, overprotected by the Royal family as a child and then suffering the death of his mother he has always seemed unsure and indecisive, always searching for a strong partner who makes up for his own weakness.

“Meghan is very much that partner. She is ambitious, determined and a real fighter – Harry always tries to fight alongside her, but the battling, complaining Harry we see now did not exist before Meghan’s arrival on the scene.

“For now, Harry loves the fact that Meghan gives him some of the backbone he always lacked, but her dominance in the relationship may not always be welcome – what charms us and delights us early on in a relationship doesn’t always stand the test of time.”

This view arrives following the notable nonattendance of the pair at the nuptials of Harry’s close friend, Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, in Chester this week. With Prince William playing a significant role as usher, it is suspected that his brother’s involvement may have contributed to Harry’s decision to bypass the occasion.

As reported by The Times, Harry was indeed on the guest list for Hugh’s union, but after a phone conversation with the groom, decided to maintain distance in what has been termed a “civilised understanding”. This action paved the way for William to fulfil his duties unimpeded at the ceremony where he was spotted entering Chester cathedral via a side entrance on Friday.

Adding further fuel to the speculation, an anonymous source communicated to the New York Post that “Harry actually got a ‘save the date’ card a few months ago but called Hugh and said it would be too awkward if he and Meghan Markle attended, so he made his apologies and Hugh understood.”

Meghan Markle finds two things ‘really difficult’ that could cripple her new lifestyle brand

Meghan Markle has been ‘having difficulties’ launching her new brand American Riviera Orchard because there are two things she find’s ‘really difficult’, according to a Royal expert

Meghan Markle has been told the two things she finds “really difficult” but will be vital if her new lifestyle brand venture American Riviera Orchard is to become a success.

That’s according to a royal expert and author, who claims the Duchess of Sussex is “struggling to find staff for her new brand”. Earlier in March, Meghan quietly launched her latest business venture. An Instagram account popped up on the platform, introducing American Riviera Orchard to the world. When she first introduced her brand, Meghan teased its aesthetic with a brief video trailer on an Instagram story. She then posted the brand’s logo across a nine-grid collage on the page.

However, after sending out 50 jars of homemade strawberry jam to a select group of celebrity pals, the brand seems to have hit a roadblock. Royal author and expert Tom Quinn suggests that Meghan is having trouble recruiting staff because she has a “tough outlook” and “absolute self-belief” meaning she finds two things “really difficult” when it comes to managing her staff.

Mr Quinn explained: “The result of Meghan’s tough outlook is that she is having difficulties finding staff for her new brand – she wants them to be full of ideas of their own, but also totally compliant to her wishes. Meghan has absolute self-belief…But to make her brand a success she needs to take and accept advice and allow staff who know far more about these things to make some of the decisions. This is really difficult for Meghan as she is not a natural delegator.”

In an exclusive chat with The Mirror, Mr Quinn revealed Meghan wants her staff to be “full of their own ideas” but also “compliant to her wishes”.

“One of Meghan’s biggest problems when she lived at Kensington Palace,” Mr Quinn added, “was that she believes that staff should jump when they’re told to jump she doesn’t have the ultra-polite old-fashioned English habit of asking staff if they would mind ordering a pizza or ringing for a car or organising a lunch.”

Details on when Meghan will officially launch American Riviera Orchard remain unclear, with the brand’s website currently only showcasing its logo and offering an option to join a waitlist. The Duchess has already distributed strawberry jam from her brand to 50 influencers and celebrities, including Kris Jenner, yet there appears to be a lull in the brand’s activity lately.

Representatives for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been approached by The Mirror for a statement.

Prince William did not mince his words when it came to healing the rift with his brother. Prince Harry revealed what happened when they came face-to-face for the first time

Prince Harry has revealed Prince William’s shock three-word response to his plea for peace.

The Duke of Sussex gave his take on the extraordinary fall-out with his family – and just what happened when he had reached out an olive branch to his big brother. Instead of the sympathy he had hoped for, Harry said his brother’s three words to him were quite the opposite. William told him: “You left, Harold,” writes Harry in his memoir Spare.

A stunned Harry replied: “Yeah – and you know why.” William returned: “I don’t.” Harry explained in an excerpt from his book: “My beloved brother, my arch nemesis, how had that happened? He continued: “I felt massively tired. I wanted to go home, and I realized what a complicated concept home had become.”

“Or maybe always was. I gestured at the gardens, the city beyond, the nation, and said: ‘Willy, this was supposed to be our home. We were going to live here the rest of our lives.’.” The brothers are still yet to heal their rift since Harry and wife Meghan Markle’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Harry recalled his reaction to his conversation with his brother. He said: “I leaned back. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It was one thing to disagree about who was at fault or how things might have been different, but for him to claim total ignorance of the reasons I’d fled the land of my birth— the land for which I’d fought and been ready to die—my Mother Country?

“That fraught phrase. To claim no knowledge of why my wife and I took the drastic step of picking up our child and just running like hell, leaving behind everything—house, friends, furniture? Really?”

‌When it came to sympathy from his father King Charles, Harry was no better off, he says. Recalling the scenario in his book, Harry said: “I turned to Pa. He was gazing at me with an expression that said: ‘Neither do I.’”

Prince Harry has been somewhat estranged from the Windsors in recent years

‌Harry then continued: “Wow, I thought. Maybe they really don’t. Staggering. But maybe it was true. And if they didn’t know why Id left, maybe they just didn’t know me. At all. And maybe they never really did.”

Meanwhile Harry has been told the one thing he’s so far failed to do with William and King Charles that might achieve his “one aim”. After stepping away from their senior Royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan Markle have been candid about their experiences and made a series of damaging claims.

Their public comments, notably those made during a bombshell 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple’s 2022 Netflix docu-series, and Harry’s anticipated 2023 autobiography, seem to only widen the seeming rift within the monarchy.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, royal writer and expert Tom Quinn said: “Over the years that Harry has complained about his treatment by his family he has had just one aim – to get an apology and to see his father and brother make amends. Harry just can’t see that complaining in private might work; complaining publicly just makes things worse and in Harry’s case that means more and more ties to his past being severed.”

Heartbreaking way Prince Harry found out about his Prince Philip’s death

Prince Harry previously opened up about the devastating moment he found out that his grandfather Prince Philip had passed away after he left the UK for life in the US

Prince Harry described the heartbreaking moment he found out about the death of his grandfather after “fleeing” the UK.

The Duke of Sussex opened up about how he discovered the death of Prince Philip, who passed away on April 9 2021, after he and Meghan Markle had left England for a life in Canada, followed by the USA. He detailed the devastating moment he woke to the news as he spoke to the late Queen on the phone in his memoir Spare.

The shocking event was the first moment that called for Harry to return to the UK as he admitted he wasn’t sure when he would ever be back after leaving with Meghan. He wrote: “When my wife and I fled this place, in fear for our sanity and physical safety, I wasn’t sure when I’d ever come back.

    Prince Harry Prince Philip
Harry’s departure saw him miss the final days with his grandfather
Harry continued: “That was January 2020. Now, fifteen months later, here I was, days after waking to thirty-two missed calls and then one short, heart-racing talk with Granny: Harry… Grandpa’s gone.” The loss of his grandpa was a major blow for Harry amid an already chaotic couple of years.

Now it seems that he could be set to try and spend more time with his father King Charles III amid his cancer battle as reports suggest Harry has been hunting for a house in the UK for future visits. The move would see him have a more secure base and avoid having to stay in hotels when he does visit.

It could also make trips where he is accompanied by Meghan and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet more possible. That would come as welcome news for Charles after reports that he is keen to spend more time with his grandchildren having met them only a handful of times in contrast to his strong familial relationship with Prince William’s children.

Charles is reportedly frustrated that he currently only gets to see Archie and Lilibet on occasional video calls and wants more of a relationship with them. Meanwhile, Queen Camilla is reportedly encouraging the efforts to boost their bond after Charles reportedly sent Lilibet a “heartfelt gift and card” for her third birthday earlier this month.

Royal commentator Michael Cole explained to MailOnline that Charles is feeling a “lack of closeness with his California grandchildren acutely.” The former BBC royal correspondent said thats while Charles “looks as happy and as content as I have ever seen him” it appears his “only regret is that he does not see Archie and Lilibet.”

Prince Harry bared all about his feelings towards the late Princess Diana, who he described as ‘simply indescribable’ after comparisons to the likes of Mother Teresa

Prince Harry was only 12 when his mum, Princess Diana, was killed in a car crash on August 31, 1997.

However, he has been committed ever since to carrying on her legacy and continues to talk with pride over the late Princess. In his controversial memoir titled Spare, the Duke of Sussex bared all and shared a heartbreaking admission following the death of his mother.

In the book, he explained how he would find himself longing for his mum at times and found it hard to put into words his feelings.

He also admitted any comparisons between Diana and Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa felt “wide of the mark”. While he said such comparisons were “lofty and loving”, he explained how she was “simply indescribable”.

Describing his feelings that followed years after her passing, Harry candidly shared: “How was it possible that I could see her, clear as the swan skimming towards me on that indigo lake? How could I hear her laughter, loud as the songbirds in the bare trees—still? There was so much I didn’t remember, because I was so young when she died, but the greater miracle was all that I did.”

He went on to gush over her “devastating smile” and “vulnerable eyes” and reminisced over her love of clothes, sweets and music, just like him and his brother, Prince William. He ended the passage by reiterating just how much her loved his mum.

During a charity event in April, the prince also paid a sweet tribute to his mother. He spoke about his work for Sentebale, an organisation he he founded in memory of his mother. The charity helps young people in Africa who have been affected by HIV and AIDS and was set up by Harry and his friend Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.

Speaking about his mum, he told the audience: “He said: “My mother had a strong focus on HIV and AIDS but also of the younger generation because it’s their futures that are being stolen from them. And at the heart of Sentebale, what we’ve always believed is that every single young person should have a chance at a better future.”

Prince Harry has made a series of revelations about his relationship with his older brother Prince William in his memoir Spare, and the siblings are still estranged after years of feuding

Prince William’s heartbreaking brutal demand left Prince Harry isolated and alone while at school.

The 39-year-old Duke of Sussex made the revelation in his memoir Spare, and claimed that his big brother was so desperate to keep his social circle while at Eton he didn’t even acknowledge Harry. The siblings, who are only two years apart, both attended the prestigious private school as young boys, but it was William who was determined to keep away from his little brother, despite Harry claiming he was struggling at school.

The Duke recalled his tumultuous years at Eton in his explosive memoir, and revealed that he approached his big brother for help after quickly realising that he was “in way, way over my head” at Eton. Harry recalled his teachers would tell him that William was always on hand to help him, but the prince was heartbroken when he finally plucked up the courage to ask his brother for help.

“Willy told me to pretend I didn’t know him,” Harry wrote. “‘You don t know me, Harold. And I don’t know you.’” The distraught young prince was left feeling isolated and alone as he claimed William was desperate to cling onto his friends at Eton without having to deal with his “pestering” younger brother. “For the last two years, he explained, Eton had been his sanctuary. No kid brother tagging along, pestering him with questions, pushing up on his social circle. He was forging his own life, and he wasn’t willing to give that up,” Harry wrote.

The prince had a tough time at Eton, and revealed he was also nicknamed ‘Prince Thicko’ by his schoolmates when a cheating scandal emerged. Harry was accused of cheating in an art project, and while he was later cleared by the school board, the prince claimed Buckingham Palace prevented him from defending himself publicly. “Never complain, never explain,” he wrote in Spare. “I was forced to sit by and say nothing while the papers called me a cheat,” adding “how do you ‘cheat’ on an art project?”

Harry started at Eton in September 1998, and was crowned House Captain of Games and represented the school at rugby, cricket and polo, and left in 2003. While his grades were never made public by Buckingham Palace, they did reveal at the time that he gained 11 GCSEs and two A-Levels, gaining a B in Art and D in Geography.

Kate Middleton to return to public life amid cancer but admits she’s ‘not out woods’

Kate Middleton is “not out of the woods yet” but is making “good progress” as she continues to have cancer treatment but will return to public life by taking part in the Trooping the Colour

The Princess of Wales will delight the nation this weekend by taking part in the Trooping the Colour to celebrate the King’s official birthday after revealing she’s making “good progress” but is “not out of the woods yet”.

In a statement released tonight on the eve of the event, Kate said she has “good days and bad days”. She added that she “hopes to join a few public engagements over the summer” as she continues treatment for cancer “for a few more months”.

Speaking for the first time since revealing her cancer ordeal in March, the Princess released the heartfelt personal message to the nation and spoke positively about her illness, despite still undergoing the preventative chemotherapy.

A Palace source said she is “doing well” and “very much looking forward to being with her family” during the King’s birthday parade on Saturday, where she is expected to appear on Buckingham Palace balcony. The Princess released a serene and beautiful new photograph taken by celebrity and royal photographer Matt Porteous to go with her message, which was taken in the grounds of the Windsor estate under a weeping willow tree.

Kate, 42, announced she would be joining her three children George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine and Prince Louis, five, in a state carriage down The Mall for the big family moment. Prince William will take part in the military parade on horseback.

The Princess wanted to take part to show support to her children, her family and her love for the King, who is also having cancer treatment. She said in a personal message: “I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months.

“It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times. I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well. My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months.

“On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home. I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.

Prior to her announcement royal sources confirmed the princess had personally spoken to the King – who is also undergoing cancer treatment after being diagnosed with the disease in February – and informed him of her wish to join him and the royal family for the parade.

A spokesperson for the King said: “His Majesty is delighted that The Princess is able to attend tomorrow’s events, and is very much looking forward to all elements of the day”. Kate, 42, will travel in a state carriage with her children and will then watch the parade from the Major General’s Office with the rest of the family before joining them on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

The future queen is to make the “surprise” appearance even though she did not attend the Colonel’s Review on June 8th – the traditional rehearsal for the birthday parade. Kate, who is the honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards, had written to them to apologise for missing it and wishing them luck. She said: “Please pass my apologies to the whole Regiment, however, I do hope that I am able to represent you all once again very soon.”

Lieutenant General James Bucknall will be taking the salute on her behalf. Trooping the Colour is the annual military parade marking the reigning British monarch’s official birthday. It has also been revealed the Princess has started working from home as it brings her “joy” but she is aware she still needs time to heal.

A royal source added: “this is a real journey and it takes time. And it’s very important the princess takes the time to recover”. The princess said both she, her husband Prince William and the entire Wales family are “deeply grateful” for the outpouring of love and support she has received around the world since she revealed her diagnosis in March.

In her heartfelt message to the nation, the princess also revealed that she hopes to attend some summer events as she feels able to and with the help of her medical team – but it is not at all a return to a full schedule.

Royal sources said any such public duties would be measured with how she is feeling at any given time and would not include next week’s Order of the Garter ceremony or any part of the Royal Ascot festival where other members of the royal family including the King and Queen are expected to be present.

Already she has been carrying out some duties from home, catching up on her reading and holding meetings because her work brings her “joy”. Those meetings have included briefings with her Kensington palace team, The Royal Foundation and the Centre for Early Childhood.

The Prince is said to have been pleased to see The Princess starting to engage with the work and projects that are important to her and will continue to focus on supporting her and his children while doing his own public duties. The photograph released was taken by Matt Porteous to reflect her love of nature which has been supporting her recovery. Since January, both King Charles and his daughter-in-law Kate, have been diagnosed with cancer and forced to take time away from their public duties.

King Charles has since returned to a slimmed down schedule of public duties, including travelling to Normandy for the D-Day 80th anniversary earlier this month. But Kate has not been seen publicly since March, when she revealed her cancer diagnosis in a video message to the nation. The Princess had stopped all public appearances after announcing her cancer diagnosis and having successful “planned abdominal surgery” in January.

In March, she released a video statement thanking the public for their “understanding” as she recovered from surgery. She explained: “It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family. In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment. This of course came as a huge shock…”
