Peter Andre posts update on heavily pregnant wife Emily as she’s pictured having contractions

Peter Andre has shared an update on his wife Emily MacDonagh’s pregnancy as she starts feeling contractions with the baby’s due date nearing

Peter Andre has shared an update on his wife Emily MacDonagh’s pregnancy as she starts feeling contractions with the baby’s due date nearing.

The 51-year-old singer and television personality shared a video on Instagram of his doctor wife Emily, 34, experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions as she rubs her stomach. The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer said that Emily blamed him for the contractions as he had made her laugh. Peter teased his wife as he commentated on the moment in the video, saying: “She’s having a Toni Braxton guys.”

Peter doubled-down on his joking by playing Toni Braxton’s huge hit song, Unbreak My Heart, in the background of the clip as Emily looked to get comfortable on the sofa, in her grey tracksuit as she gently soothed her tummy. Emily said that one side of her bump was feeling different to the other and commented: “Oh, it’s settling down now, nearly. It’s all gone on this side but this side feels empty. This side feels like a rock.” Peter captioned the video: “The braxtons are real. Apparently it’s my fault cos I made her laugh. I’ll take that.”

Braxton Hicks contractions are false labour pains that occur during the latter stages of a pregnancy and are the body’s way of preparing for the actual labour. While Peter and Emily have been keeping their due date secret, the Braxton Hicks are an indication for when their third child together will be arriving. The couple already have nine year old daughter Amelia and seven year old Theo. Peter is also father to son Junior, 19, and daughter Princess, 16, with his ex-wife Katie Price.

Writing recently in his OK! column, Peter revealed: “Honestly, I don’t mind what the gender is as long as they’re happy and healthy. I’ve got two girls and two boys already and they’re all amazing in their own way.” Meanwhile, during an appearance on Loose Women, Emily told the panel that this pregnancy had been her “toughest yet” and that she had been feeling quite sick throughout. Panellist Nadia Sawalha then joked: “That means it’s a boy!”

Nadia then performed a test on Emily in which she used a ring on a string to determine the baby’s gender. Holding it over the doctor’s stomach. Nadia said that if the rings moves in a circle then it means it will be a girl, which if the ring swung back and forth, it indicated it was a boy. When the ring started moving back and forth, Nadia and the audience cheered as the Loose Women star announced: “It’s official, it’s a boy… you heard it here first! There are no more surprises now! “.

Prince Harry will likely ‘get sympathy from public’ amid current predicament, claims expert

Prince Harry received full publicly-funded security protection until he chose to step back from his royal duties and moved to California with Meghan Markle in March 2020

Prince Harry will likely get “sympathy” from the public amid his current predicament, it has been claimed by a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex recently won the right to take his case to the Appeal Court against the High Court’s decision that the level of protection he and his family receive in Britain, “which is decided on a case-by-case basis”, is reasonable.

The Court of Appeal has said it will listen to his challenge following a direct application from Harry’s lawyers, who said the prince had been granted permission to appeal. Harry first began the action after the Home Office, the ministry responsible for policing, in February 2020 cut off his right to automatic personal police security while in the UK.

Harry, in addition to other senior royals, had received full publicly-funded security protection until he chose to step back from his royal duties and moved to California with Meghan Markle in March 2020. It was after this that the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) decided in April not to allow Harry the same amount of protection as he previously had been given after he stopped being a “full-time working member of the royal family”.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror about this situation, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said: “His attempt to pay personally for extra police protection, has the obvious disadvantage that it would create a two-tier system and, as expected, failed in court.

“However, he is haunted by what happened to his mother and there is a threat by far-right extremists to him and his family. The granting of full taxpayer-funded protection for those who are not full-time working royals is likely to be difficult to obtain, but in his particular case, there will be some sympathy for what he sees as his predicament.”

“It may well be that it is ruled that he and his family could be included in the ‘Other VIP Category’, but the legal costs of his appeal will be substantial. Threat by far-right extremists and terrorists too,” Mr Fitzwilliams added.

Coleen Nolan reveals she almost quit her TV career after Kim Woodburn feud

Loose Women’s panellist Coleen Nolan opened up about her famous feud with Kim Woodburn – which saw the latter storm off the ITV talk show after an intense row

Coleen Nolan revealed she almost quit her entire television career following her famous feud with Kim Woodburn.

The 59-year-old presenter and singer was on Celebrity Big Brother with icon Kim in 2017. During their stint on the programme, Kim claimed Loose Women panellist Coleen had ganged up on her with seven other housemates to bully her – which Coleen vehemently denied. Kim was later invited to appear on Loose Women to put the drama behind but things quickly turned sour.

But despite her best intentions, hopes of a friendly reunion went down the drain when Kim lost her cool and called Coleen “trash” among other things, while Coleen calmly sat on the panel next to her sister Linda. Her co-star Janet Street-Porter sat in between the warring pair wearing a judge’s robes and a gavel, as the strapline ‘Can Coleen and Kim end their feud?’ ran across the bottom of the screen.

After a heated back and forth, Kim stormed off set while Linda told her: “You’re showing your true colours, Kim.” And now, Coleen has opened up about the shocking row during a Q&A session at her Naked Tour in Sunderland. The presenter said she knew the interview would turn to shambles.

“It was exactly how I thought it was going to be and I told them that’s what she was gonna do but no one listened to me,” Coleen explained. “And then I can honestly say it was the worst time of my life. I very nearly threw the towel in and thought I couldn’t do it anymore. And then I thought…’I’m not going to let Kim Woodburn finish my career…she’s a cleaning lady!’”

While in the Big Brother house, Kim frequently bickered with her housemates who she claimed ‘bullied’ her – Coleen included, who she later described as “two-faced”. After leaving the show, Kim said in an interview: “How that woman won, when Jedward were sitting there, I have no idea. Public, I don’t know how you could let that boring fag ash Lil (win), with what I now know to be a rotten mouth. She shouldn’t have won that show. I’m a bit tired of all these people on Loose Women winning.”

When producers finally got Kim on Loose Women to discuss her feud with Coleen, all hell broke loose. As their war of words heated up, Coleen said her biggest mistake was not telling “antagonistic” Kim “how vile she was from day one” and that she “wanted to go at people all the time”.

“I was very upset in that house and I pretended I wasn’t,” Kym spat back, her voice wobbling as she fought to keep her emotions in check. I was terribly upset; they picked on me. This one [pointing to Coleen], ‘cup of tea Kim, cup of tea?’ everyday and behind my back they were slagging me off.

“I don’t want to draw a line under it…I will never forget what the likes of this one and seven others put me through…I will never forget it because it was sad, awful and it was bloody cruel!” She was quick to storm off set while Coleen remained in her sit as her colleagues defended her.

Palace ‘faces serious worry Beatrice and Eugenie have gone to the dark side with Harry and Meghan’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties in 2020, but it seems that they are getting closer to the royal cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie four years on

According to a royal author, Kensington Palace has a “serious concern that Beatrice and Eugenie are becoming increasingly close to Harry and Meghan”.

Prince Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, have long been close to their cousin Prince Harry. The two Princesses have even continued their strong bond with the Duke after his controversial exit from the Royal Family in 2020.

And now it has been claimed that there is a “serious concern” that the two Princesses are getting even closer to the Sussexes. Prince Harry believes that his two cousins can “sympathise” with him the most given his current situation and estrangement from his father and brother, according to a royal expert.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, royal author and expert Tom Quinn said: “There is serious concern at Kensington Palace that Prince Andrew‘s daughters Beatrice and Eugenie are becoming increasingly close to Harry and Meghan. Beatrice and Eugenie are moving across to what one Kensington Palace official described as ‘the dark side’.”

Kensington Palace is the home of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Princess Catherine. It has long been rumoured and speculated that the Sussexes are estranged from the Waleses following their departure from the Royal Family.

Not only this but when Prince Harry flew to London last month and announced he would not be meeting his father due to conflicting schedules, he completely snubbed his brother by not mentioning him in the statement.

Mr Quinn went on to add: “Still furious that their disgraced father Prince Andrew has not been rehabilitated, Beatrice and Eugenie feel like outcasts, their sense of abandonment made worse by King Charles’ refusal to allow them to be part of the inner group of working royals.”

And with Harry feeling as though the relations with his father and brother have “broken down completely”, he feels that his two cousins, the Princesses, are “sympathetic” to his position. Mr Quinn said: “With the complete breakdown of relations with his father and brother, Harry feels that Beatrice and Eugenie are among the very few members of the family who are sympathetic to the position he finds himself in. He has always been fond of his cousins, but they are now more important to him than they have ever been.”

This comes almost four years after Harry and his wife Meghan Markle moved from Windsor in England to California in America. The Sussexes upped sticks and moved across the pond in the summer of 2020 and haven’t looked back since. Their move came a few months after they announced they were stepped down from their duties as senior working royals.

Stacey Solomon’s unbelievable weekly earnings revealed as star rakes in £3,000,000 a year

Loose Women star Stacey Solomon – who is married to Joe Swash – has racked up enormous earnings

TV Star Stacey Solomon has enjoyed another bumper year as she raked in as much as £3 million – or £58,000 a week.

She is now sitting on cash and assets of £4.3m for the year to the end of June 2023 – up from £2.9m in 2022. And £1.6m of that is in ready cash. Annual accounts for her firm Key Map Entertainments Ltd filed this week show she added an £800,000 investment to package taking its value to £2.2m

She runs a firm to take in cash from her telly work, ad tie-ins and media appearances like Loose Women and interviews and in 2022 she earned around £1.5m. Records at Companies House show that her Key Map Entertainments Limited was valued at £1,373,245. In 2019, the firm was worth £888,763.

The books also reveal that she has £607,490 to pay within a year. His will represent her Corporation Tax meaning her income was around five times that figure. And she’s set to earn even more cash after setting up a cosmetics firm called Belle & Rose – named after two of her five kids.

The outfit is very much in its infancy and documents were only lodged with Companies House to incorporate the firm last month. The fledgling firm will trade in the “retail sale of cosmetic and toilet articles in specialised stores” according the official documents.

In her Key Map Entertainments Ltd – set up to take in cash from “performing arts”, she added another almost £1m to her investment portfolio taking the value of her production firm to £4m. In 2021, she splurged £1.2m of her wealth on her dream house, affectionately nicknamed Pickle Cottage.

After rising to fame on the X Factor in 2009, Stacey has become a national treasure and is best known for her bubbly personality and as the Instagram DIY queen.

The 34-year-old TV star has been keeping her social media followers in the loop as she has transformed Pickle Cottage into a family home. As well as her dream home, Stacey has the dream family life too with former EastEnders actor fiancé Joe Swash, and her five children.

And at Christmas she dipped into her fortune to take 20 members of her family to Jamaica. She told fans on social media: “For the first time ever we got to surprise our families for Christmas. Never felt more grateful & lucky. Not in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be able to do this. 20 of us, 10 hours later & we have made it to paradise. Merry Christmas Everyone. Lots of love from ALL of us.”

Husband Joe Swash recently splashed out on a mobile home, but the cost is likely to only equate to around a week of Stacey’s earnings in the last 12 months.

Ruth Langsford shares her ‘worst fear’ when it comes to husband Eamonn Holmes

Ruth Langsford has been married to Eamonn Holmes since 2010 but while she does admit to split concerns, him swapping her for a younger model doesn’t appear to be one of them!

Ruth Langsford isn’t fussed about the thought of Eamonn Holmes dating a younger women if they were to ever split – but she couldn’t stomach him seeing someone her age.

Of course, they remain one of the strongest couples in showbiz but the TV pair often wonder what life would be like if things did take a turn for the worst. Ruth has shared her fears on Loose Women – and she doesn’t seem concerned about the idea of him swapping her for a younger model.

While some of the panellists expressed their doom at the thought of their partners cheating with someone half their age, Ruth offered a different perspective as the 64-year-old discussed their relationship. She said: “See I think, people go, ‘Oh, you’d hate it if you were dumped for a younger woman’.

“I go, ‘No, I would hate it because…’ then I could do the whole cliché thing, ‘Oh, Eamonn is such a cliche, he’s going with a 25-year-old, how sad.’ But then I think ‘No, the worst thing for me is if he went off with someone the same age’. I think that is harder than being dumped for someone younger. That’s my worst fear.”

Her co-star Linda Robson was quick to tell her: “That’s not going to happen.” Ruth replied to the Birds of the Feather star: “Well, hopefully not,” Ruth responded, crossing her fingers. Brenda Edwards then shared her view, adding: “Well, apart from my ex-husband who was like four or five years older than me, everyone else I’ve dated has been younger, but not more than five years.”

The couple first met in 1997 when their mutual friend, TV presenter Sally Meen, introduced them in London, while Eamonn was a GMTV host. Just two years prior, Eamonn had split from his first wife, Gabrielle Holmes, who is the mother of his three eldest children, Declan, Rebecca and Niall.

In 2010, Eamonn made a rather impromptu proposal in an unusual manner after spotting some men flirting with Ruth at Cheltenham Races. “We were at the races in a box with some people and I’d had a few drinks and had won a bit on the horses and was having a lovely time,” explained Ruth on Loose Women in 2018.

“Eamonn had gone out to the loo and when he came back, there were men in the box with us flirting and chatting to me, and he said: ‘I don’t like that, them flirting with my wife.’ And then he went: ‘Actually, she’s not my wife. She should be my wife.’ We had been together 14 years by then. ‘Why is she not my wife? Why haven’t I done this?’”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘had secret UK home worth £2.5m’ they ‘gave up’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly had a secret UK home worth £2.5m, with the couple residing in this lavish farmhouse while Frogmore Cottage was renovated for them

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a home in the United Kingdom which was worth £2.5m – but the couple had to give it up, reports suggest.

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a two-year lease on a property in the Cotswolds. Harry and Meghan are believed to have signed the lease shortly before they walked down the aisle in May 2018.

After the Sussexes got wed, the couple moved into Frogmore Cottage after renovating the property in Windsor. But while the Sussexes waited for renovations to be carried out and completed, they are said to have resided in the Oxfordshire property, which was estimated to be worth more than £2.5m in 2018.

The Grade II-listed house comprises of three primary structures, with those being the main farmhouse, a separate two-bedroom cottage for staff and guests, and a converted barn that boasts not one but two kitchens, one on each of its two floors. Meanwhile, the main farmhouse consists of four bedrooms.

A friend of the couple previously said that the Sussexes “loved walking the dogs there and entertaining their friends in complete solitude” at the Oxfordshire home, with them reported to have entertained the likes of George and Amal Clooney while residing there.

Prince Harry and Meghan were evicted from Frogmore Cottage last summer. The pair departed their Windsor home and England as a whole in 2020 when they stepped down from their senior roles as working royals and moved across the pond to America.

Harry wrote in his memoir of Frogmore: “Once upon a time, this was going to be my forever home. Instead, it had proved to be just another brief stop.”

Following the publication of his bombshell memoir, the Sussexes were told to depart the cottage for good – meaning they would no longer have any residence in the UK. At the time, a representative confirmed: “We can confirm the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage.”

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror earlier this year, royal biographer Tom Quinn said: “Harry was absolutely furious and in tears about being evicted from Frogmore he felt his father had no right to do it and that it was purely vindictive.

“Harry couldn’t see that choosing to stop being a working royal would inevitably mean being deprived of his royal residence.”

Stacey Solomon given insulting nickname by hubby Joe Swash after disagreement over new habit

Stacey Solomon was left fuming as she shared the rude nickname that her husband Joe Swash has for her on her new Channel 4 show, Stacey Solomon’s Renovation Rescues

Stacey Solomon revealed her husband’s cheeky nickname for her on her latest Channel 4 television gig, Stacey Solomon’s Renovation Rescues.

The multi-talented star had been happily showcasing her impressive DIY skills to her Instagram followers ever since they became proud owners of Pickle Cottage in March 2021. Her blossoming passion for organisation and creativity has attracted a slew of TV offers. Following the popular show Sort Your Life Out, she has now bravely taken centre stage – hosting her own home-makeover programme for Channel 4

The revelation about Joe’s rather insulting sobriquet came about during filming at their beloved Pickle Cottage. Joe casually appeared on the scene, along with their adorable trio of kiddiwinks. The 34-year-old Loose Women panellist was chatting to the cameras about dreams of converting their garage into a personal fitness space.

With understandable worries about losing his precious fishing gear storage, Joe popped in to get an idea about her renovation plans. The lively conversation veered towards sharing the space, when Stacey explained her idea of creating a partition wall that would respect their separate interests.

However, the former EastEnders actor didn’t exactly share her enthusiasm about the space-sharing agreement; leading Stacey to hilariously reveal to the crew that “Joe call’s me Donald Trump because he says I’m forever building walls.”

Meanwhile, according to the Daily Star, tears were shed as the bubbly Essex girl guided emotional homeowners Caroline and Erik through a stressful renovation process in Enfield. The hapless couple had hoped to transform their humble bungalow into a dream home but wept over some expensive setbacks.

The couple were considering re-mortgaging their house and borrowing money from family to complete the project, until their saviour Stacey arrived with some cost-saving ideas.

Stacey, a mother of five, was hands-on as she assisted them in panelling a feature wall and secret door, saving them from spending £6,000 on bi-fold doors. She also persuaded them to retain light-restoring windows in the hallway to keep it bright, which saved even more money.

Caroline and Erik, who had been brought to tears at the beginning of the programme, were left beaming by the end. They had initially been quoted £65,000 to finish the rebuild, but ended up coming in £5,000 under budget thanks to Stacey’s assistance.

Denise Welch hits back at Alison Hammond’s critics as she backs This Morning star’s age gap romance

Sceptics have had their thoughts about Alison Hammond’s new age-gap romance with Russian hunk David Putman, but the couple have received Denise Welch’s approval

Alison Hammond’s love life is being scrutinised and judged, prompting Denise Welch to speak out in her favour this week on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Loose Women panellist took to the social media platform on Wednesday, responding to concerns from Alison’s close circle, members of which believe she could be set for another heartbreak by giving David Putman a chance, due to their 20-year age gap.

One of them notably expressed worry to The Daily Mail, suggesting: “You could say she is fairly vulnerable when looking for love. Those who are close to her fear that she will be taken advantage of.”

They continued: “Obviously alarm bells go off when there’s a 20-year age gap, whether that’s when the man or woman is younger and there is someone involved who is rich. It is surely natural that there would be some concern.” But the couple deemed controversial has received support from Denise Welch.

Responding to the worries over Alison’s personal life, Denise – who shares a 14-year difference with her own husband half Lincoln Townley whom she wed in 2013 in Portugal – penned a warm message of encouragement for the This Morning host and her new beau: “It could also work out brilliantly well and be the best thing that ever happened to her!!! Fabulous woman and deserves everything.”

Although she enjoys huge success at the helm of some popular programs on the box, from This Morning to For the Love of Dogs, Alison Hammond has embarked in a number of ill-fated romances off-screen. After welcoming her son Aiden, 18, she notably called off her engagement with the lad’s father, cab driver Noureddine Boufaied, but the pair are said to remain fond of one another.

Alison later explained why she never walked down the aisle, admitting that she didn’t like feeling “tied down”, saying: “I think as soon as I hear the word marriage I get like cold feet. I think I’m just one of those people. (…) I just feel like I’m tied down and I don’t like it, when really and truly, I’m getting to that age now where I just think ‘Alison, let go – it’s okay to settle down’.”

After years of living as a free agent, Alison met Ben Hawkins when she hired him to tend to her garden in the West Midlands. The pair are said to have kept their relationship a secret from the public for several months before eventually making it public and rumours of an engagement quickly emerged – but the romance hit the rocks.

While some may be worried about Alison’s new skinny-dipping beau and his motives, David’s pals have all publicly sang his praises. “David is a very quiet, unassuming and thoughtful person who likes to play the guitar. He’s the strong, silent type, not a pushover, but not chatty like Alison”, one source claimed.

“In that sense they’re perfect for each other and to David, age is just a number. He’s not bothered by fame, he probably didn’t even know who Alison was when they first met.” The insider added: “Alison has never been happier. She has had a turbulent love-life, but is finally confident she has found a trusted companion.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s young family face threats in the UK, a royal expert claims, as the Duke of Sussex is granted permission to appeal the High Court’s decision over his security

Prince Harry and his family face threats from “far right extremists and terrorists” in the UK and he may receive sympathy from the public for his current security woes, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex recently secured the right to appeal the High Court’s decision regarding the level of protection he and his family are entitled to in Britain, a matter which is determined on an individual basis. Following a direct application from Harry’s legal team, who confirmed the prince had been granted permission to appeal, the Court of Appeal has agreed to hear his challenge. The action was initiated by Harry after the Home Office, the department responsible for law enforcement, revoked his automatic personal police security while in the UK in February 2020.

However, following his departure from full-time Royal duties, the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) decided in April not to provide Harry with the same level of protection he previously received.

But in an exclusive chat with The Mirror, Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams noted Harry and his family face significant threats during visits to the UK and he could not only see a positive end to his battle – but sympathy in the public eye, too.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sent shockwaves through the royal world when they stepped away from their senior Royal duties in 2020, and moved to the United States.

They have since been embroiled in a rift with Harry’s family after making a series of damaging claims. Their public comments, notably those made during a bombshell 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple’s 2022 Netflix docu-series, and Harry’s anticipated 2023 autobiography, widened the distance between them and the monarchy.

Speaking exclusively with The Mirror, Royal writer and expert Tom Quinn said: “Over the years that Harry has complained about his treatment by his family he has had just one aim – to get an apology and to see his father and brother make amends. Harry just can’t see that complaining in private might work; complaining publicly just makes things worse and in Harry’s case that means more and more ties to his past being severed.”
