New blow for Prince Harry as ‘closest cousin’ seen joking around with Prince William

She grew up in a close knit unit with her cousins Prince William and Prince Harry, celebrating occassions together as well as going on holidays. No wonder Princess Beatrice is not just Prince Harry’s ‘favourite.’

Prince Harry may want to look away after new snaps have emerged of his beloved cousin Princess Beatrice hanging out with Prince William.

Princess Beatrice, whose father is Prince Andrew, looked delighted as she had a laugh with Prince William during the second day of Royal Ascot. It may come as a new blow for Prince Harry as she is said to be his ‘closest cousin,’ who would spend time with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their home in California.

Princess Beatrice looked glam in a pink floral gown which she teamed with a matching floral headband. She beamed as she caught up with Prince William at the annual Berkshire event.

It’s not just Princess Beatrice who was enjoying Prince William’s company – but her younger sister Princess Eugenie too. The Mirror reported: “William in particular was in high spirits at the event – one funny incident with Princess Eugenie prompted comparisons with his cheeky youngest son, Prince Louis. At one time, it was thought that Eugenie had ‘sided’ with Harry and Meghan following their fallout from the family – but she and William looked closer than ever and they laughed and hugged.”

The family were out in force with Prince William joined by his cousins Zara and her husband Mike Tindall , Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi , and Princess Eugenie and her spouse Jack Brooksbank.

While the group is known to be close, royal protocol dictates a certain level of formality at public events. Not so this year.

There were warm hugs, moments of real tactile affection and much laughter at the event – a sign that something has shifted within the royal family, according to one expert. “The royals have been under attack from a new, more potent ‘enemy’ though in the shape of Charles and Kate’s illnesses and that seems to have produced a desire to not just re-convene and show unity but to reaffirm those bonds publicly via these tactile behaviours,” Judi James exclusively told The Mirror.

‌”They are congruent and authentic bonding rituals, too, not the kind of show-pony behaviours we get treated to when warring royals are told to play together nicely. These look like an authentic coming together and rounding up of the wagons in the face of recent anxieties.”

She added: “These rituals have nothing to do with any mirroring of Harry and Meghan’s brand of tactile body language. Theirs is only shown between each other or to register support for strangers on their ‘royal’ visits. William’s rituals here are for extended family, which is a different level of bonding altogether.”

  • Prince Harry ‘hates hotels and wears a disguise on UK visits’

Prince Harry ‘hates hotels and wears a disguise on UK visits’

The Duke of Sussex has made no secret of his desire for privacy, so it’s little wonder he goes out of his way to stay incognito, says a royal expert

Prince Harry doesn’t have his own home in the UK anymore so he has to do what he can to protect his privacy when visiting, says a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex detailed the extreme lengths he went to meet up with Meghan Markle in their early days of dating without being detected in his book Spare. And now royal author and expert Tom Quinn has also shed light on Harry’s struggles with security issues when he returns to the UK for visits.

In an exclusive chat with The Mirror, Tom said: “Harry is completely obsessed with the idea that any visit to the UK is fraught with security difficulties – hence his continued legal action to challenge the UK government’s decision not to fund his security.”

Prince Harry has no plans of settling down in UK, confirms royal reporter
Prince Harry has no plans of settling down in UK, confirms royal reporter
Speaking of Harry’s penchant for disguises and going incognito to avoid being hounded, Quinn shared his thoughts on the Duke’s preferences regarding accommodation when he travels to the UK.

Quinn said: “Harry hates the idea of hotels – last time he stayed in a hotel on a visit to the UK he had to leave and arrive virtually in disguise. The problems are even bigger if he plans to stay with friends as he’s convinced, he is always being watched by the media and that they will find out where he’s staying.”

Just earlier this year Prince Harry suffered a huge blow in terms of security when he comes to the UK. Recently, the duke has been locked in a legal battle against the Home Office over the February 2020 decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that he should receive a different degree of taxpayer-funded protection when in the country. Ravec’s decision came as a result of a change in Harry’s ‘status’ after he stopped being a “full-time working member of the Royal Family “, a judge was told.

Harry’s lawyers had previously told the court that he was “singled out” and treated “less favourably” in the decision to change the level of his taxpayer-funded personal security. They said a failure to carry out a risk analysis and fully consider the impact of a “successful attack” on him meant the approach to his protection was “unlawful and unfair”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle concerned for their kids' safety while in the UK
The ‘heavy’ reason Meghan won’t bring kids to the UK

The court was told that Harry believes his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet cannot “feel at home” in the UK if it is “not possible to keep them safe” there. At a previous hearing of the case, in a written statement, Harry said: “It was with great sadness for both of us that my wife and I felt forced to step back from this role and leave the country in 2020. The UK is my home.

“The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home, as much as where they live at the moment in the United States. That cannot happen if it’s not possible to keep them safe when they are on UK soil. I cannot put my wife in danger like that and, given my experiences in life, I am reluctant to unnecessarily put myself in harm’s way too.”

But earlier this year, retired High Court judge Sir Peter Lane rejected the duke’s case and concluded Ravec’s approach was not irrational nor procedurally unfair. And in another blow this month, a judicial spokesperson said that Harry has lost his initial bid to appeal against the decision.

Kate Middleton news | ‘Desperate’ Meghan Markle, Prince Harry reach out to end feud with Princess of Wales

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have contacted Kate Middleton to make peace, a source told Closer.

The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex are now ready to end their feud with the Royal Family, claims the insider.

“Meghan’s desperate to come across as the bigger person and end this feud between them – appearing like some sort of royal saviour could only do her image good. And, despite all their bad blood, her heart does go out to Kate – she can only imagine how hard this situation must be for her,” the insider told Closer while referring to Kate battling cancer.

And, despite all their bad blood, her heart does go out to Kate – she can only imagine how hard this situation must be for her,” the insider told Closer while referring to Kate battling cancer.

“Meghan has made it clear she’d love nothing more than to move past all the nonsense and find a way towards healing for everyone’s sake. She’s ready to let the anger and bitterness go,” the source said.

The source said Meghan hoped her feelings were reaching Kate and that fixing their relationship would greatly relieve the Sussexes.

“Of course, it’s not really up to her and Harry, all they can do is continue to reach out and offer olive branches,” the source added.

Prince Harry celebrate his birthday with his family,”I receive gift from home” Thank to all my loveable fans,I love you all,

Wednesday marked a big day for Prince Harry, as the British royal who currently calls America home turned 37 years old.

In honor of that event, Harry’s famous family members celebrated on social media — including his brother and sister-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.which is the Instagram home of family patriarch Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, the birthday greeting accompanied three photos of Harry — one childhood shot where he can been seen smiling alongside his father, another flashback photo of the duo from the opening ceremony of the 2014 Invictus Games and in between those images, a beaming pic of Harry taken just last year.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle go ‘separate ways’ in their future plans

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seemingly set to carry out big plans but they will be doing so separately given their opposite aspirations.

The Duke of Sussex, who has reportedly been looking at properties in the UK has seemingly made up his mind over his UK plans whether his wife Meghan Markle accompanies him or not, suggested royal commentator Kinsey Schofield.“I hear that Harry is both content with his new lifestyle and homesick,” she told Fox News Digital. “It just depends on the day. I’m sure Harry could get homesick, and we know that he is prone to wearing his heart on his sleeve.”

On the other hand, Meghan is focussed on her lifestyle brand, American Riveria Orchard

Schofield added that the Duchess of Sussex has “likely permitted him to try to establish an additional residence in the UK if that will make him happy, but I doubt she has any desire to participate in the process or visit.”

ITV Love Island’s Gemma Owen became ‘protective’ after brother was diagnosed with rare eye disease

Love Island’s Gemma Owen and her little brother James appeared on Loose Women to discuss his blindness. He was diagnosed with Stargardt disease when he was younger

Love Island’s Gemma Owen revealed she became ‘protective’ over her brother James after he was diagnosed with a rare eye disease.

A few years ago, footballer Michael Owen confirmed his son was diagnosed with Stargardt disease – which, according to the NHS, is a “rare inherited condition causing loss of central vision”. According to the National Eye Institute, vision loss usually starts in childhood — but some people with Stargardt disease don’t start to lose their vision until they’re adults.

James first realised something was wrong when he struggled to see the whiteboard at school. Appearing on Monday’s edition of Loose Women, Gemma and her brother discussed what it was like for him growing up and how the family navigated the difficult diagnosis.

Gemma said: “I think at the start it was it was a little bit of a struggle, you know, for the family and for James. I think he had quite a few of his early school years, you know, being quite frustrated and finding work challenging but I think he’s sort of really sort of got the grips with it and embracing it now.”

    Gemma Owen

When asked whether she felt protective, Gemma added: “I am the protective big sister and seeing his mates sort of having fun and games with him a little bit, I did get protective sometimes.” Their mum, Louise, was in the audience and admitted she didn’t cope very well with the diagnosis.

“To begin with, my husband’s [Michael Owen] very optimistic. The glass is half always half full,” she explained. “But for me, the thought of there not being any treatment at the moment or any cure was quite hard to deal with and also knowing that progressively the condition was going to get worse.”

Gemma said she had to step in as support as her mum wasn’t ‘strong’ about the situation. “I think my mum as any mum would be, I think she found it very emotional. And she, you know, when James came back from school and had a bad day. I think she just got upset. She got emotional and she wasn’t really, you know, that strong sort of figure.

“So that’s where I sort of tried my best to step in and sort of be there for him and sort of, you know, look at everything logically and try and work through it.”

In 2019, former footballer Michael opened up about his son’ condition during a chat with The Times. He said: “He will never be a footballer. My son’s got an eye condition. I’ve never said this. I don’t want a big headline. Clinically, he’s blind. He’s got Stargardt disease, a degeneration of his retina. I used to go and watch him and b*****k him about his positioning.”

“He can’t see the ball until it’s five yards away. As much as every father wants their son to play, it is almost a relief to me,” he added at the time.

Ruth Langsford on sensational return to This Morning after Eamonn Holmes’ bitter feud with ITV

Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford doesn’t need Eamonn Holmes’ ‘permission to do anything’, including returning to ITV show This Morning without her husband by her side

Ruth Langsford says she could return to This Morning and wouldn’t need husband Eamonn Holmes’ permission.

The pair used to host the show every Friday for 15 years but were axed leading to Eamonn criticising the ITV show repeatedly in the media. He also didn’t hold back in his criticism of Phillip Schofield and how his exit was handled. But by contrast Ruth returned for a week on This Morning with Rylan Clark and recent reports even said she was in talks for a full time comeback.

Speaking in Woman&Home, Ruth said: “I love This Morning but reports that ITV have recently asked me back aren’t true. I laughed when I saw that report. I have no idea where these things come from. It’s like when people write a nasty comment on my Instagram, I find it amusing.

Ruth and Eamonn on this morning

“If they asked me, I would certainly consider it. I did a week with Rylan last year and I wasn’t torn because of Eamonn’s situation [turning his back on ITV]. Eamonn has left ITV, it’s done and dusted. He’s got another job, which he loves. Also, I don’t have to ask Eamonn’s permission to do anything, or for him me, so if ITV said, ‘Would you come and do a week on This Morning?’ and if I was free and it was with the right person, I probably would do it.”

In the interview for the December issues of the magazine, which features a Christmas theme, Ruth also says she would love a Sunday night chat show. Discussing her ambitions, she said: “Do I want a prime-time Sunday night chat show? Of course! I’m always ambitious. I’m not chasing jobs but I set my own standards. I want my clothing range to do well; I put the hours in, I do my research, I have a good team, I turn up on time and work hard. I’m very much a team player. I’m not a leader, but I like bouncing ideas.

“In television, age is not always a positive [for a woman]. Loose Women is fantastic and thank God for it, but often your age can be a negative in TV. You are at the mercy of programme controllers. You can have the best agent in the world and be – in your opinion – the best presenter ever, but if the person at the top of the chain doesn’t want to use you, you don’t get used.”

She also spoke about trying to “embrace ageing”. The 63-year-old explained: I’m trying to embrace ageing and not let it frighten me. You can become too cautious and think, ‘Ooh, I’d better not do that because of my age.’ I’m not suddenly going to go skydiving, I’m just trying to embrace the life I have.

“I love working but the older I get, the longer hours take more of a toll, so I try to balance that by eating well, walking and getting fresh air. I’m 63, pretty fit and healthy, but I look at my mum, then I look at Eamonn, who’s had his health and back problems, and it makes you realise how important your health is, being able to move is and looking after yourself.”

    Eamonn Holmes on GB News
Eamonn has let rip on ITV several times since leaving the channel
Ruth’s husband Eamonn hasn’t been shy sharing his thoughts on on ITV and his former colleagues since leaving the channel in 2021 – taking aim at This Morning’s press office and the ITV show’s former host Schofield.

Eamonn, 62, co-hosted the Friday instalment of This Morning for 15 years with Ruth, 61, before they were replaced on the ITV show by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary. Eamonn has since gone to to join GB News, presenting the channel’s breakfast show alongside co-host Isabel Webster.

The Irish journalist branded the ITV press office ‘Ministry of Lies’ in July 2022, after scooping his first major award since making the switch from ITV to GB News. During his acceptance speech at the Tric Awards, Eamonn gave a warning to Good Morning Britain – telling the ITV show he and GB News were “coming for them” in the ratings war.

Eamonn beat Stephen Dixon, Victoria Derbyshire and Clive Myrie to win the New Presenter honour at the Tric Awards last year and celebrated his success and set the record straight about a few things regarding his ITV exit when chatting with the Mirror and other press after collecting his award.

“You wouldn’t be doing what you’re doing if you don’t think you’re the best with what you’re doing,” Eamonn stated when quizzed about his ratings war promise to Good Morning Britain. When probed about how wife Ruth feels about his previous comments regarding ITV following his exit, Eamonn was quick to share how he really feels.

“I haven’t been slagging off This Morning. I’m telling the truth about ITV,” he hit back with when asked how Ruth feels about him “slagging off ITV.” “I haven’t been slagging them off. ITV have been telling lies about me. They’ve been telling lies about me. I’m just putting the record straight, he continued.Eamonn didn’t stop there, going on to declare: “The Ministry of Lies, their press office, which chunder out there the same. The point is I did not resign from ITV. ITV resigned from me. And I never received a single explanation once why they wanted rid of me. And also, the sort of stuff that comes out – ‘Eamonn believes he’s male pale and stale,’ doesn’t look like it does it. Eamonn never once said that. ITV press office said that.”

ITV’s Loose Women presenter Kaye Adams was forced to apologise to viewers after Linda Robson swore on live TV as she tried to explain that she is not confident in taking red carpet pictures

Loose Women panelist Kaye Adams was forced to apologise to viewers after Linda Robson swore on live TV as she tried to explain how she doesn’t take herself seriously when taking red-carpet pictures.

The 65 year old star, who became a household name when she starred in the comedy Birds Of A Feather, was explaining to the audience there are specific poses to master when having your picture taken on the red carpet. She told fans that you have to pose with your head forward and to not look down “otherwise you get a double chin.” She then continued to say: “I just go like that.”

And just moments later she flipped the bird – holding her middle finger up in a swearing hand gesture – and said: “I just try and make it a joke because I don’t know what else to do.” Within seconds, Kaye stepped in and spoke to the camera to apologise to viewers who may have found Linda’s gesture offensive.

She told fans: “Can I just say, some people might find that gesture offensive and so we apologise.” To hide her embarrassment, Linda laughed off the situation while Kaye swiftly moved on.

The Scottish TV presenter then attributed Linda’s inability to take a posed photograph, down to her carrying a pair of flip-flops under her arm in a plastic bag. Kaye added: “So that kind of spoils the whole vibe a wee bit doesn’t it?” But Linda claimed “normally I get someone to hold it for me when I’m doing the red carpet.” This however, is not the first time that Linda has let a rude word slip while on the live ITV daytime show.

Last month, Linda’s blunder came during a segment of the show where she was giving away a rather large cash prize, dressed as an old woman and named Nanny Linda. But, as she wheeled out the £1million cash prize to introduce the competition, she accidentally dropped the F-word live on air. And host Charlene White had to step in and apologise. She said: “I would like to apologise for Linda’s language.” But presenter Brenda Edwards, who always tries to maintain her composure, was still left in shock as she held her hand to her mouth for a few seconds.

Usually, viewers pen their disapproval on social media but it looks as though the much loved star of the ITV daytime show, 65, instead made viewers chuckle. One wrote on Twitter: “Another cracker of a show today on @loosewomen. Always great when Jane McDonald makes an appearance, Linda Robson swearing with @RealDeniseWelch almost caught out.” Another commented: “Linda robson swearing on loose women has just made my day.” And a third took to the social media platform and said: “Haha!!! Linda Robson dropping the F-BOMB live on air!”

Katie Price launches tirade at ITV’s Loose Women and ‘disrespectful’ ex co-stars

Katie Price has hit out at her former Loose Women colleagues who left her annoyed by not asking a question about her when one of her children appeared on the show

Katie Price has slammed her former Loose Women co-stars who recently failed to acknowledge her.

The former glamour model appeared on the programme between 2015 and 2018 as a panellist, sitting at the famous desk for a total of 133 episodes and even attempting to relaunch her short-lived music career on the show. However, Katie hasn’t appeared on the programme since and has not been mentioned by her former co-stars.

Recently, her son Junior, 18, appeared on the ITV programme to discuss his upbringing with famous parents, Katie and Peter Andre as well as his music career as he attempts to make a name for himself. But his stint left his mum infuriated.

Speaking on The Katie Price Show podcast, her younger sister Sophie asked if Katie would ever consider returning. “I’m gonna throw it back, the question is would they ever have me back on?” she responded.

The mum-of-five added: “Although they did p**s me off when Junior was on it, not even asking a question, ‘how is your mum’ and all of that – very disrespectful. But, would I be a presenter on it? To be honest, I’ve been there and done that so probably not, no I don’t want to be a presenter on Loose Women again, so I would turn that down.”

But this isn’t Katie’s first time criticising her former pals after her decision to quit for “personal reasons”. Taking to TikTok, she claimed that the panellists “hated” her. Following Junior’s interview,s he told fans: “Isn’t it weird I was in Big Brother with Nadia, I presented with all the other ones on Loose Women.” She explained: “Not one mention about his mum, not one mention about ‘is your mum proud of you? It was all Pete, Pete, Pete, Pete, Pete. He was obviously told not to talk about me. It is so cruel. But that’s what this industry is like!”

Katie went on to recall: “I had to just confess to everyone how on Loose Women they didn’t even mention me considering I worked with them. I said I am in his life I do see him and I do speak to him and we all do. But our whole family our left out of everything because they hate me.”

Although she has remained tight-lipped about her exit, she previously claimed that the programme made her “feel sick” and claimed bosses and producers had expected her to “perform like a seal”. Looking back at her time on the ITV lunchtime show, she believed that she looked “dead” behind the eyes as her personal life had started to unravel during her stint. “All the drama came out,” she told Annie Macmanus.

Stacey Solomon’s return to ITV Loose Women confirmed after exit fears – and it’s soon

Loose Women have confirmed when Stacey Solomon will make a huge return to the ITV lunchtime show amid fears she was no longer a pannellist

Stacey Solomon’s return to Loose Women has been confirmed – and it’s just days away.

There had been fears Stacey had quit the ITV lunchtime show after taking some time off for maternity leave, and it’s now been confirmed when she’ll be back with the panel for the hit programme. Stacey joined Loose Women back in 2016 and has been on-off since, appearing more regularly at the start before only making occasional appearances in the past year or so.

A source said recently that Stacey had “outgrown” the show and would not be returning. “The panellists know Stacey is popular and good for the programme, so they would be gutted to see her go,” they said, ” She’s outgrown the show. It’s no longer right for Stacey. Loose Women takes up a lot of her time. If she were to leave, it would free her time up a little, especially if she has to be away for longer periods of time with her own shows.” However, sources confirmed to The Miror that wasn’t the case.

An insider close to Stacey exclusively told The Mirror that claims she had parted ways with ITV were “categorically untrue”. A spokesperson for the show added: “These claims are not true. We are looking forward to welcoming Stacey back onto the show soon.”

Now, it’s been confirmed that Stacey will be back on the panel tomorrow to fill the other Loose Women in on what life has been like since she went on maternity leave, following the arrival of her latest child, daughter Belle.

Speaking about her time on Loose Women so far, Stacey revealed previously: “Again, I’m just grateful to be on there. When I was on X Factor 14 years ago… I never even thought I’d be on a show like this never mind have opportunities like Sort Your Life Out and Loose Women. So every time I get to do something like that I’m genuinely like ‘thank goodness, this is amazing!’. You’ve just got to keep enjoying it because you never know when it’ll be gone and when those things aren’t going to be there.”

Stacey will be back on Loose Women tomorrow with her fellow panellists, where she’s likely to discuss family life, her home Pickle Cottage and of course, her relationship with I’m A Celebrity star Joe Swash.
