Katie Price begs for ITV Loose Women spot despite slamming former co-stars

Former glamour model Katie Price has begged to return to Loose Women despite slamming her former co-stars after appearing on the ITV panel from 2015 to 2018

Katie Price has declared she wants to return to Loose Women despite slamming her exit from the show.

The former glamour model, 45, admitted she wants to go back to the ITV daytime show as a presenter. She was a regular panelist on the programme from 2015 to 2018. Katie has since re-shared a social media post of an episode from March 18, 2018 where she appeared on the panel alongside Vicky Pattison, Linda Robson and Andrea McLean.

The admission comes just days after she was declared bankrupt for a second time after dodging court six times over her £3.2million debt.

Alongside the throwback snap, Katie wrote: “I should go back as a presenter.” Last month, Loose Women’s Linda Robson revealed Katie is desperate to be allowed back on the show. Writing in her new book Truth Be Told, Linda said: “I love Katie Price but sometimes I think she deliberately tries to shock. I did an awards show with her once where we were both supposed to be presenting together but no one could find her anywhere.

“She eventually turned up with minutes to spare. When we got out on the stage, she started talking about herself and I had to tell her, ‘Oi! It ain’t about you today. Whenever I bump into her now, she tells me how she wants to come back to Loose Women. And I say, ‘But, Katie, you can’t f*** ing behave yourself, can you?’”

Linda confessed she worries about Katie, and that the mum-of-five “used to sleep in the car on her way in and would arrive in her pyjamas and get dressed when she got there”. She added: “She always made plenty of headlines whenever she was on, though.” After leaving the show back in 2018, Katie revealed that she felt let down by the ITV team. It came at the time of her ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s affair and her mum’s terminal illness diagnosis.

Katie told the Changes With Annie Macmanus podcast in 2021: “I was doing Loose Women for two years. When I look back at that it makes me feel sick. You had me at my worst. You had me when mentally I was really going through it, which is weird because some people wouldn’t have you on the show like ‘no you are not well enough’. In fact, I wasn’t well. I wasn’t well but I was still able to perform like a seal.”

Just last year Katie slammed her former co-stars when she was asked by sister Sophie if she would ever consider returning. Speaking on The Katie Price show podcast, she said: “I’m gonna throw it back, the question is would they ever have me back on?” Her son Junior made a Loose Women appearance last summer to discuss his upbringing with famous parents, Katie and Peter Andre.

Katie added: “Although they did p**s me off when Junior was on it, not even asking a question, ‘how is your mum’ and all of that – very disrespectful. But, would I be a presenter on it? To be honest, I’ve been there and done that so probably not, no I don’t want to be a presenter on Loose Women again, so I would turn that down.” While speaking on TikTok, Katie claimed that the panellists “hated” her.

  • Loose Women’s Jane Moore walks off ITV show as she admits she ‘doesn’t like goodbyes’

Loose Women’s Jane Moore walks off ITV show as she admits she ‘doesn’t like goodbyes’

Loose Women panellist Jane Moore walked off the ITV show on Friday after a discussion over Celebrity Big Brother’s backdoor eviction for Bradley Riches and the art of saying goodbye

Jane Moore walked off Loose Women on Friday after admitting she’s not a fan of goodbyes.

Host Kaye Adams and panellists Jane, Nadia Sawalha and Judi Love were discussing whether they are “good at goodbyes” following the shock exit of Bradley Riches, which saw the actor leave the show without a live eviction. Judi admitted she was left emotional watching the sad scenes as Bradley was told he had been voted out after being duped into thinking he was meeting a loved one.

He then quickly said goodbye to his housemates before leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house. Jane found the reaction to the Heartstopper actor’s exit amusing and quipped: “They’ll all see each again at the wrap party!”

Kaye pointed out that Jane isn’t one for long goodbyes and often leaves engagements without saying goodbye at all. Recalling an example of an abrupt exit, Kaye said: “It was a theatre production and there was a whole bunch of people there.

Jane was there with her friend and the production finishes, everyone claps, the friend looks across to Jane to see she’s gone.” Justifying the lack of goodbye, Jane said: “I don’t want to get stuck in that queue going out of the theatre so I go out quickly. I thought she was behind me but she didn’t follow me.”

Interrupting, Kaye said: “We’ve got to go to the break – I have no idea whether Jane’s going to be here when we come back,” as Nadia added: “It’s a great tip for young people, just leave.”

Jane then stood up and walked away from the Loose Women panel disappearing behind the set. The Loose Women star had returned to her seat when the show returned from the ad break.

Earlier in the week, Loose Women panellist Denise Welch hit out at Fern Britton after she clashed with Nikita Kuzmin. The former This Morning presenter told the Strictly Come Dancing pro she wasn’t happy with an earlier comment he had made about her outfit, which she viewed as a backhanded compliment.

Denise fumed: “If there’s one type of behaviour I cannot stand, it’s passive aggressive behaviour. The definition of it is indirectly expressing negative opinions instead of addressing them and I can’t bare anything that’s done behind a sickly painted smile.”

She continued: “I felt very sorry for Nikita because I genuinely think it wasn’t ageist, I think it was because he nominated her four times and she didn’t like it and I felt sorry for him. I don’t think he’s got a mean bone in his body, in there and knowing him a little bit outside.”

Sam Thompson urged to get penis enlargement by blunt Olivia Attwood and Pete Wicks

I’m A Celeb winner Sam Thompson was urged to get a penis enlargement by his celeb pals, Olivia Attwood and Pete Wicks, as the trio discussed plastic surgery on his podcast

Convinced Olivia Attwood and Pete Wicks told pal Sam Thompson that he should probably consider a penis enlargement after informing him that he could do with “another inch”.

The red-faced star was given some cheeky advice on his Staying Relevant podcast – and they didn’t break it to him easy. Sam chatted with guest Olivia, who had just made an ITV show about plastic surgery named The Price of Perfection. They talked about different kinds of surgery, and what the I’m A Celebrity winner should do.

Olivia had a part in her show where she learned about penis surgery. She and Pete talked about how men can feel worried about the size of their penis. Olivia mentioned: “We talked about your penis, didn’t we? And then pressures that are you on guys when it comes to penis size and the stress it can cause.”

Sam joked: “I am an advocate for the extra small condom.” Olivia laughed and said: “We should’ve had you on… I know an amazing surgeon now if you need anything..” Sam was surprised and said: “You can get a d**k enlargement? That’s amazing! ” Olivia then told him: “It gives you another inch to play with, which to some people, sort of makes a difference.”

Pete teased Sam, saying: “So two for you,” making fun of his friend. Sam knew Pete would drop a gag and said “I knew that was coming. I literally was waiting for it. Because hungover it took him a little bit longer to get. I knew that was the way he was going.”

Olivia was asked about the most gruesome things she saw while filming her plastic surgery series. She spoke up: “Some days I’ve walked in there and someone’s getting like sliced open and it’s nothing and then the next day I see something that’s not as gory and my knees go. It depends on how good a night’s sleep or if I’ve had a drink or anything. The smell is the worst thing in surgery.”

Pete recalled Olivia inviting him to feature on her show with abs sketching treatment. He told the story: “I’ve just remembered the other time that you asked me to be on your show. It was when you wanted me to get my abs done.”

She admitted: “I’ll be honest, that wasn’t entirely my idea. They said ‘Do you think Pete would come on and you have abs sketching treatments? ‘ Because we needed a dude to try out the human Kendall thing, the non-invasive one.”

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan, 59, announced the happy news on Instagram alongside a sweet photo of Ciara with her fiance Maxx Innes

Coleen Nolan has revealed that her daughter Ciara is engaged.

The Loose Women star, 59, announced the happy news on Instagram alongside a sweet photo of Ciara, 22, with her fiance Maxx Innes. Gushing over her “beautiful” daughter, Coleen said that she “loves them both so much”.

She wrote: “Well what can I say… I’m so so delighted that @maxxinnes has asked my beautiful girl @ciarafensome to marry him. I love them both sooooo much. Miss them even more! Can’t wait to see them. Off to buy a hat.”

Among those to pay their congratulations was Coleen’s ITV co-star Denise Welch, who wrote: “Congratulations @ciarafensome.” While another commented: “Good news Coleen congratulations to them both.” A third wrote: “Great news Coleen you must be delighted for them. Was good seeing u bk on @loosewomen today.”

Ciara shared the happy news on her Instagram Stories earlier today with a picture of her hand adorned with a huge diamond on her finger as she held Max’s hand. She wrote: “This happened last night xxxxx.”

Ciara went on to share reactions from her friends to the engagement, with one writing: “Congratulations @ciarafensome @maxxinnes, you two were made for each other and I’m so pleased for you both. Living the dream! So happy for you xx.”

It comes after Ciara’s mum Coleen previously revealed that she was struggling with empty nest syndrome earlier this year after her daughter decided to go travelling. Admitting she “can’t stop crying”, she told her ITV co-stars Ruth Langsford, Janet Street-Porter and Linda Robson that her daughter has booked a one-way ticket out of the UK.

Coleen, who is also a mum to Shane, 35, and Jake, 31, explained her daughter has been planning this trip for two years with her partner, but the couple have not agreed a return date. She said: “They’ve worked really hard and saved up and I’m so proud of them both and her, but honestly, I just can’t stop crying.”

She continued: “But I’m trying not to do it in front of her because I’m thrilled and I’m proud because what an amazing thing to do. But it’s like losing my best friend.” Ruth teased Coleen that she will find it particularly difficult as Ciara helps “run her life”.

Coleen agreed, adding: “She is the mother of the house. My son text me the other day and went, ‘This is going to do you good mum because you need to grow up’.” The singer and Loose Women panellist explained that Ciara helps her out around the house and does a lot of the cooking, helping to ease the pressure at home while Coleen prepares for her upcoming one-woman tour.

“It’s just very stressful,” she said, before adding: “Empty nest syndrome is real.” Janet remarked: “Just speaking for her, she’s got to be allowed to live her own life.”

Coleen replied: “Oh she is being allowed. I don’t have to like it, Janet,” with Janet hitting back: “I know you don’t like it but you have got to grow up a bit Coleen. I never thought I’d say those words. But you have got to manage by yourself.”

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan makes incredible reveal about daughter Ciara’s proposal

Following her daughter Ciara’s engagement news, Coleen Nolan revealed how Maxx Inness prepared to pop the question and pointed out a ‘thoughtful’ gesture he’d made towards her.

Maxx Innes spent months preparing to get down on one knee and ask for Ciara Fensome’s hand according to the latter’s mother, Coleen Nolan.

Back at the helm of another Loose Women instalment this Thursday, the singer and TV star was beaming as she told her co-stars and ITV viewers how Maxx made every effort he could to make sure his proposal was perfect – and he even asked for her and ex-husband Ray Fensome’s blessing before going through with it.

“They’re travelling away at the moment”, Coleen revealed about the young and happy couple on the daytime talk show, adding: “They’ve been away since January and they’ve been everywhere. They’re in North Vietnam and they’re loving it.”

    Coleen on ITV

Coleen even disclosed details of the proposal, adding that Maxx waited until the perfect moment arose to pop the question. “They were on this boat with all the lanterns and he proposed to her”, she said, “but the lovely thing is, before he left to go travelling with her, he asked me and her dad (if he could do it), which was so lovely and so thoughtful.”

In doing so, Maxx allowed Coleen to be a part of his surprise proposal for Ciara and the panellist struggled to keep schtum during her regular calls with her daughter. “She’s been brilliant and facetiming me every day”, she explained as she added that she would avoid probing the young woman about her day out of fear of spilling the beans.

But as time went on, Coleen grew concerned the proposal would never happen, prompting her to consider taking the first flight she could to Vietnam.

Thankfully, and as Coleen revealed herself on social media on Wednesday (April 3, 2024), things played out the way Maxx had intended them to and Ciara said “yes.”

Taking to Instagram to share the happy news, Coleen captioned a picture of the loved-up couple, penning: “Well what can I say… I’m so so delighted that @maxxinnes has asked my beautiful girl @ciarafensome to marry him. I love them both sooooo much. Miss them even more! Can’t wait to see them. Off to buy a hat.”

Followers quickly extended their well-wishes to Maxx and Ciara with one writing: “Many congratulations to the happy couple. Lovely happy news”, while another echoed: “Over the moon for them both.”

As mentioned above, Coleen shares 23-year-old Ciara with Leeds guitarist Ray Fensome, whom she married in November, 2007, two years after he proposed to her on her 40th birthday. Despite their 2018 separation and subsequent divorce, Coleen has insisted that her and Ray have been able to remain on good terms.

Coleen is also the mother of two sons from her marriage with ex-husband and EastEnders legend Shane Richie, aka Alfie Moon in the BBC One soap – Shane Jr. and Jake.

Loose Women stars comfort Charlene White as she breaks down on show

The broadcaster shared her emotional struggle with her late mother’s deteriorating health before breaking down in tears as the cast of Loose Women remembered Paul O’Grady.

A year has raced by since Paul O’Grady drew his last breath at the age of 67 years old due to cardiac arrhythmia and Loose Women stars have decided to stroll down memory lane as they paid tribute to the comedian – and recalled their own experiences with grief.

Speaking to her co-stars and viewers, Charlene White remembered her immense struggle following the death of her late mother Dorrett, who passed away from bowel cancer at 47 years old, before breaking down in tears.

The broadcaster and mum-of-two explained that her pregnancy with her son Alfie was particularly harrowing as she faced motherhood while finding herself trying to cope without the person who could have supported her in her new chapter.

She first explained that, upon finding out she was pregnant, Charlene “was fine” but grief caught up with her unexpectedly.

“I was fine about it, I took the test, I was completely fine with it. But there was a moment, when I started showing and I was in the bath”, she remembered, “I was looking at bump in my belly and it hit me that I was going to have to learn to be a mother when I was motherless.”

Charlene insisted that she had been accustomed to taking care of others as she helped her mother raise her brother and sister, but she had no experience taking care of a new-born.

“The one person that I needed to guide through this really massive moment in my life wasn’t there”, the 43-year-old continued, “that’s the one moment where I completely lost it and I just cried and cried.”

“I couldn’t stop because grief presents itself when you least expect it and when I gave birth to Alfie, it’s that realisation that your mum is the only person you’ll physically connect to.”

Charlene remembered other women who tried to fill the void left by Dorrett, but she was unable to accept their support and “pushed them away.”

“No one knows me like my mum so if I needed help, my mum would just know”, she insisted. “I need to know how to do this by myself and as hard as that it is, I have no choice.”

    Charlene and her mother

In another breath, Charlene admitted she’d felt jealous of those who welcomed their children with their mothers by their sides but as she did so, emotion overwhelmed her and she choked back a few tears before being comforted by her ITV co-stars.

The popular TV host was only a 16-year-old teenager when her mother was first diagnosed with bowel cancer, as she revealed on the set of Lorraine in 2023, and, in a devastating twist, an early blood test could have been life-changing.

“Part of the reason my mum didn’t go to that appointment was because she got caught up with parenting. If she went for that early blood test it could of saved her life”, she told Lorraine Kelly at the time.

This has since led to her stressing the importance of an early diagnosis as she urged people to “check before they flush.”

Prince Harry and Prince William’s relationship is unrepairable following their bitter Royal Family feud, a source has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex stepped down as a working member of the monarchy in 2020 and shortly after moved to the US with his wife Meghan Markle.

Since stepping down from the Royal Family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have publicly criticised senior working royals through several forms of media.

In 2021, Meghan and Harry slammed aspects of royal life in a TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The following year the couple released a Netflix documentary titled Harry & Meghan where the Duchess of Sussex ridiculed having to curtsey to Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince Harry heavily criticised Camilla, Prince William and his brother’s wife Princess Catherine in his autobiography Spare which was released in January 2023.

Harry’s comments in Spare particularly about William and King Charles’s wives marked a new low in the Duke of Sussex’s relationships with his family.

The King made the decision to evict Harry from Frogmore Cottage after his memoir was released.

William and Harry have barely spoken over the last 18 months and last saw each other at the Coronation in May 2023.

A source told the Mail regarding the relationship between the brothers: “Whatever might happen in the future, the trust that was implicit in his relationship with Harry is gone for good.

“Even if it is possible that some kind of managed reconciliation could be achieved, it will be never anything more than superficial.”

Prince Harry has travelled to the UK twice in 2024 but did not see the Prince of Wales during either of his trips.

One Year After Fully Vacating Frogmore Cottage, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are On the Hunt For a “Permanent” Home In the U.K., Royal Author Says

No, they’re not moving back—just looking for a safe and reliable place to stay when visiting.

Almost one year exactly since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fully vacated their former U.K. home, Frogmore Cottage—located on the Windsor Estate—royal author Tom Quinn said that Harry is looking for a “permanent” U.K. home to stay in when he visits his native country, as he did last month (and ended up staying in a hotel after reportedly declining an offer from his father, King Charles, to stay at a royal residence).

    Prince Harry

Harry, seen here in the U.K. last month for the Invictus Games’ 10-year anniversary celebrations.

Quinn told The Mirror that Harry—who, with Meghan and their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, now call the U.S. home, specifically Montecito, California—“misses some aspects of his old life” back in London. “Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end, and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles,” Quinn said. (The Sussexes moved to the U.S. in 2020, four years ago.)

Specifically, Harry misses his friends from Eton and his Army friends, who haven’t made the trek across the Atlantic to come see him. “Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the U.K., which is partly why he’s continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security,” Quinn said.

Security was deemed the reason why Harry reportedly turned down Charles’ offer to stay at a royal residence, rumored to be St. James’s Palace, according to The Daily Mail, which reported the Duke of Sussex “is said to have declined his father’s offer because it did not come with any taxpayer-funded personal security provision, which would leave him staying in a ‘visible location with public entrance and exit points and no police protection,’” the outlet reports. According to The Telegraph, “Instead, he chose to stay at a hotel—presumably with members of the public—because it means he ‘could come and go unseen.’”

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex (wearing a Household Division regimental tie and medals including his Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order cross) attends The Invictus Games Foundation 10th Anniversary Service at St Paul's Cathedral on May 8, 2024 in London, England.

Had Harry opted to stay at a royal residence instead of a hotel, he would likely have been able to see his father because of St. James’s Palace’s close proximity to Charles’ home, Clarence House.

The Telegraph added that Harry “remains devastated” about the withdrawal of his automatic right to police protection, which he is still fighting the Home Office over in the British courts. Currently, Harry has to give the Metropolitan Police 28 days’ notice before coming to the U.K. if he wishes to apply for security provision, The Daily Mail reports, “with each request assessed on an individual basis by RAVEC, the committee which oversees the protection of royalty and public figures,” the outlet writes.

Buying a permanent home in the U.K. would, at least, take the guesswork out of where Harry (and, hopefully someday, Meghan and the kids) would stay upon returning to the U.K. The King began the eviction process of the Sussexes from Frogmore in January 2023, coincidentally (or not) the same month that Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare, hit shelves; the Sussexes were fully moved out of Frogmore by June, one year ago, and about one month after Charles’ Coronation on May 6.

“Meghan has said she’s only prepared to return to England if she and Harry have a place of their own and the security they both feel is essential,” Quinn told The Mirror. He added “If the couple manage to find a permanent home and sort out the security issue, they will certainly want to bring their children to the U.K.,” though Quinn did admit that “it’s going to take a lot of diplomacy” to get to the point where Archie and Lili could establish a “genuine and warm relationship” with the Prince and Princess of Wales’ three kids.

Any future U.K. property would add to the impressive real estate portfolio Harry and Meghan already have in the form of their $14 million Montecito home, which Page Six reports has nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a pool, a tennis court, and a two-bedroom guesthouse.

Commentator Predicts Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Have Entered a ‘New Era’ Where the Public Will See Even Less of Archie and Lili

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in a “new era” when it comes to their children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. Sadly for fans who may want to see more of the Sussex kids, a commentator thinks the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now in a period where they appear to be focusing more heavily on their son and daughter’s privacy.

Harry and Meghan didn’t publicly acknowledge Father’s Day

Father’s Day came and went on June 16, 2024, without any sort of public tribute from Harry and Meghan. Harry didn’t shoutout King Charles III on social media the way his brother, Prince William, the Prince of Wales, did.

Meghan didn’t wish her husband of five years a happy Father’s Day by sharing a photo of Archie and Lili with their dad, similar to Kate Middleton’s snap of Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, with William.

So, what does it mean? Harry and Meghan simply could’ve opted to celebrate the occasion privately without any social media posts or updates to their official website. Or, as royal correspondent Jack Royston told the U.K.’s Sky News, it could be a sign the couple is in a “new era.”

“It’s interesting that we didn’t get any Father’s Day content from Harry and Meghan,” he said (via Newsweek). Royston went on to say that, in his opinion, they seem to “really have hit a new era of definitely wanting to keep their children in private.”

Glimpses of Archie and Lili are becoming increasingly rare

It’s been a while since Harry and Meghan gave the world a look at Archie and Lili — more than 16 months. The last time they shared a glimpse of the Sussex kids was in December 2022, when Netflix’s Harry & Meghan docuseries was released.

In it, the couple provided personal videos and photos, many of which featured Archie and Lili. Since then, Harry and Meghan have occasionally talked about their kids publicly, the most recent being in Nigeria during a May 2024 trip.

Gone, however, are the days of family photos or birthday portraits. At least ones that are shared with the masses. Since his birth in 2019, Archie has made only two official public appearances. Meanwhile, his sister hasn’t made any, save for a few photo releases.

“They had a period where having initially said we wouldn’t see much of their kids, they then did let Archie appear in the Oprah interview. And in some other content they did for their various shows,” Royston said. “And then Princess Lilibet, they released a picture for her first birthday.”

“But then we’ve had nothing this year of Lilibet. And we’ve had nothing for Father’s Day. And it does feel like they’ve now hit a point where we perhaps won’t see the kids again.”

Indeed, the only glimpses of Archie and Lili in 2023 were obtained by paparazzi. Harry and Lili were snapped at a local Fourth of July celebration. Then Harry and Meghan were spotted taking the kids trick-or-treating near their Montecito, California, home, and, later, vacationing abroad.

Archie and Lili’s royal cousins also stay out of the spotlight

Harry and Meghan’s kids aren’t the only young royals growing up largely out of the spotlight. Their cousins are, too.

William and Kate’s three children aren’t seen very often apart from major royal family events. Take, for instance, Trooping the Colour. George, Charlotte, and Louis participated in the celebration with their parents on June 15, 2024.

Holidays, such as Christmas and Easter, typically give the public glimpses of the Wales children. There’s also the occasional Wales family outing at Wimbledon, a soccer game, or the Commonwealth Games.

Although Harry and Meghan may be focusing on their children’s privacy, that doesn’t mean glimpses of them aren’t possible. It was previously reported Harry and Meghan discussed how visible Archie and Lili should be in their upcoming Netflix shows. Another claimed Meghan wants to include Archie and Lili in her work, similar to her sister-in-law, the Princess of Wales.
