  • Prince Harry isn’t actually called Harry – but he used real name for Meghan update

In case you weren’t aware Prince Harry’s full name is Prince Henry Charles Albert David – not Prince Harry even if that is what the public, his family and friends have taken to calling him

You probably didn’t know but Prince Harry isn’t Prince Harry, that’s not his real name, his real name is actually quite different.

In case you weren’t aware Prince Harry’s full name is Prince Henry Charles Albert David. So definitely not Prince Harry, even if that is what the public has taken to calling him. Harry also doesn’t have a surname, he just uses Sussex or Mountbatten-Windsor.

While Harry has been used for Prince Harry’s entire life, on more formal occasions his real name Henry is used. When the Prince’s wedding to Meghan Markle was announced the Palace’s statement read: “His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle Are Engaged to Be Married.”

In a chat during the WellChild Awards Harry also joked about being called Harry and not Henry, he also said he wasn’t sure why he wasn’t called Henry when taking a question from a child called Henry. Harry said: “My name is Henry, but everyone calls me Harry. I have no ideas.”

There isn’t really a reason why Prince Harry is called Harry and not Henry by virtually everyone, despite what’s on his birth certificate, it’s a bit of a mystery. However, according to Metro, the name Henry derives from the Old French name Henri, and over time (during the medieval period) the English version – Harry – started to be used over here. Most monarchs called Henry were referred to by those who knew them as Harry, including Henry VIII.

It’s not only Harry who has more than one name, the real name of Meghan Markle is Rachel Meghan Markle

Harry has several names, and he can use them as and when needed. When he served in the military he was known as Captain Harry Wales according to the Telegraph, because of Charles then being Prince of Wales. But “Mountbatten-Windsor” is also available to him if he needs it thanks to the Queen declaring that when members of the royal family need a last name, that should be their go-to.

It’s not only Harry who has more than one name, the real name of Meghan Markle is Rachel Meghan Markle. She shares her birth name with the character that made her famous in Suits – Rachel Zane. Meghan uses her middle name professionally and that’s what most people know her as now.

After Archie’s birth in 2019 on his birth certificate, the couple were referred to as Harry, “His Royal Highness Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex” and Meghan as “Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex”. However, a month after his birth things were changed on the birth certificate. The amendment dropped “Rachel Meghan” from the Duchess’s title and referred to her only as “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex.” Meghan and Harry recently made them and their two children’s official surname Sussex, with a source telling The Times they did so to “unify” the family.

Prince Harry has taken a major decision to ease tension with the royal family ahead of his royal trip to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex, who’s set to take solo flight to the UK to attend the Invictus Games 10-year celebration ceremony on May 8, has reportedly decided to make amends with the Firm.

Harry extended an olive branch to the royal family by sending them an invitation to grace his event in London. However, King Charles and other senior members of the royal family have not responded to the Duke’s invitation.

A well-placed London socialite, who knows Harry and William, has confirmed to Page Six that the Duke invited the Prince of Wales as well as other members of the royal family, to the event.

No senior members of the royal family, according to GB News, are expected at the event at St Paul’s Cathedral as King Charles and Princess Kate are currently undergoing cancer treatment.

There are speculations that Harry’s father, who’s recently returned to public duties, could attend via zoom or may be in person.

The 75-year-old monarch is reportedly also considering to to invite Harry and his wife Meghan Markle to Balmoral Castle in Scotland this summer so he can see his grandchildren Archie, four, and two-year-old Lilibet.

It is to mention here that the King will have his weekly audience with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak before attending the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the season on the day of Harry’s event.

  • Officially, King Charles III and Prince Harry have successfully reconciled, paving the way for Meghan to become the next queen.

Officially, King Charles III and Prince Harry have successfully reconciled, paving the way for Meghan to become the next queen.

Queen Camilla is reportedly “struggling to see the good” in welcoming Meghan Markle back into the royal fold.

Prince Harry is set to return to the UK next month for a ceremony to mark 10 years of the Invictus Games, which he founded in 2014. However, according to reports, Meghan may not join him on the visit.

It was recently claimed that she’s worried about security while they’re in the UK. When news emerged about Harry’s return, many fans hoped this would be an opportunity for him to reconcile with his family.

A source has now claimed that the “door could be open” for Harry to make amends with the family “down the line”. But it seems Camilla has shut down any prospect of “peace talks” soon with the pair.

Queen Camilla ‘peace talks’ with Harry and Meghan
Speaking to Bella magazine, an insider claimed: “It’s not a question of her being bitter, she’s just got so much else going on.

Down the line, the door could be open for Harry to make amends if he’s truly willing to own up to his mistakes.”

The source went on: “But as far as Meghan, Camilla is struggling to see the good that would come from welcoming her back, especially as she feels that any visit would be extremely uncomfortable.”

The source also claimed: “Camilla doesn’t want to inflict undue stress on Kate or Charles by inviting Harry and Meghan over to hold any sort of peace talks.”

(VIDEO)What Prince Harry’s relationship with Princess Anne means for the royal family. Do they really understand each other?

Prince Harry’s relationship with a senior member of the royal family has become the focus of a new viral post, after images of the prince and his aunt, Princess Anne, won praise on social media site TikTok.

Harry and Anne have been photographed together on numerous occasions over the prince’s life. Anne is the only sister of King Charles III and is one of the most popular royals in Britain, regularly topping the list of hardest working family members and reportedly carrying out over 450 public engagements in 2023.

Interest in Harry’s relationship with his family members in Britain has grown since his split from the monarchy and move to the U.S. with Meghan Markle in 2020. Since then, in media projects and interviews, the prince has made a number of behind-palace-walls revelations about interactions and conflicts with his family members, most notably King Charles and Prince William.

Uploaded to TikTok by user elisabethiilili on April 13, several images of Harry interacting with Anne over the course of his life have been viewed over 150,000 times so far, winning praise from fans who have reflected on their apparent closeness.

Harry and Anne have shared a number of touching links, the most apparent of which being that she was his military colonel when he was serving as a member of the Blues and Royals regiment of the Household Cavalry in the British Army.

Captioned “The most iconic duo of the Royal Family,” the photo compilation of Harry and Anne over the years has received in excess of 8,900 likes and numerous comments, many of which have praised the prince and his aunt.

“I just know she’s a cool aunt,” wrote one TikTok user of Anne.

“The spares 💗,” posted another, in reference to the fact that both Anne and Harry were the second born children in their families. A further comment added: “They look alike.”

In addition to their shared military connection, Anne played an important role in the aftermath of one of Harry’s major life events, the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Anne was staying at Balmoral with her mother on September 8, 2022, when the 96-year-old monarch died, 70 years after she acceded to the throne.

In his memoir, Spare, published in 2023, Harry recounted that it was a tense time for relations within the royal family, as he claimed Prince William ignored his attempts to join other royal family members in traveling from London to Scotland to visit the queen when news of her worsening health was announced.

Harry chartered his own private plane to make the journey and when it landed, news of the queen’s death had already broken. He told readers that when he arrived at Balmoral Castle, his father, the new king, and his brother had already left, being greeted at the door by Anne.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Investing in Their Future

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s international expansion of their PR operation is “long overdue” for a couple in their position and is a strong investment in their future, an entertainment expert has told Newsweek. However, whether it can turn around their divisive public image remains to be seen.

The royal couple have added two high-powered communications professionals to their team to overhaul their relationships with the media, amid a number of new ventures in the entertainment sphere.

Former United Talent Agency communications pro Kyle Boulia has joined the Sussexes’ California team as deputy press secretary and director of communications, becoming the main point of contact for all U.S. media outlets.

PR professional Charlie Gipson has also taken on the task of heading up the couple’s first U.K. hub since their split from the monarchy. As director of communications, Gipson will be the point of contact for all U.K. and European media outlets wanting information about Harry and Meghan.

Both Boulia and Gipson will report to the couple’s incumbent global press secretary and head of communications, Ashley Hansen.

These high-powered (and presumably high-priced) new appointments are the biggest signals that Harry and Meghan are planning on expanding their creative and philanthropic outputs and becoming a larger presence on the global stage.

“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s PR team expansion is a long-overdue move,” he said. “The couple’s public image strategy clearly needed reevaluation, and these new hires indicate a new focus with areas for improvement and a more resourceful press team needed to take charge.”

“The appointments, with expertise in both the U.S. and U.K., signal a strategic approach to managing their public personas across continents, and show us that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are investing in themselves and their brand.”

Boardman noted that the couple’s public image, while not wholly positive at present, has the potential to be turned around.

“Public perception is malleable,” he said. “And improved communication can only positively impact the reception of Harry and Meghan’s future endeavors, including documentaries and Meghan’s lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, having had less success than they had hoped for to win back public trust for their lackluster apologies.”

On what the biggest challenge facing the team will be, Boardman suggested “understanding the couple’s current standing” and crafting a communication strategy that effectively works with the media, instead of against it, to “improve relations and better meet public expectations.”

“A more open and transparent approach could be a key component,” he said. “But its success depends on careful execution to ensure improved credibility.”

Overall, he noted, the move is a good one for Harry and Meghan and an important investment in their future as public figures hoping to increase their global presence in a positive way.

“Only time will tell if this PR move will showcase the couple’s work in a positive light, with a more strategic approach to their personas,” Boardman concluded. “When it comes to brand deals to help reignite public acceptance for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, a change can only improve the outcome and now the hard work begins for the new starters.”

Everything Prince Harry Said About First Date With Meghan Markle

On May 19, 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary and in that time there have been a series of royal highs and lows—from their dramatic split from the monarchy to joyous welcoming of their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Since their relationship became public in late 2016, both Harry and Meghan have spoken warmly of their romance, providing details of its origins in interviews and media projects.

The most detailed account of the couple’s first date was provided by the prince, most notably in his 2023 memoir, Spare.

From his running late to Meghan’s Cinderella exit, Harry recounted the event in all its fairytale romance for his audience to read for themselves.

Here, Newsweek looks back at how Prince Harry remembers his first date with Meghan Markle.

    Running a Bit Late

Traveling from the country to meet Meghan in London’s Soho for their date, Harry revealed that he had been caught in traffic and was left flustered, worried that she might decide to leave before he could arrive.

“I apologized. Profusely. I couldn’t imagine many people had been late for this woman,” he said of his arrival, going on to provide a glowing description of his “heart-attack beautiful” future wife.

    Prince Harry in Spare

“At last I arrived. Red-cheeked, puffing, sweaty, half an hour late, I ran into the restaurant, into the quiet room, and found her at a small sitting area on a low velvet sofa in front of a low coffee table. She looked up, smiled”

    Too Much to Say

Harry told readers that he found it hard to process that he was on a date with someone as beautiful as Meghan, but that this soon subsided and they had a meaningful discussion about their passions and interests.

“The initial awkwardness was gone, the warmth from our texting returned,” he wrote, going on to say that there was “too much to talk about” by the time their evening together ended.

    Prince Harry in Spare

“We’d each had first dates on which there was nothing to talk about, and now we both felt that special thrill when there’s too much to talk about, when there isn’t enough time to say all that needs to be said.”

    Cinderella Moment

In the prince’s memory, as quickly as the date began it was soon over.

“I have dinner plans,” he said Meghan told him as she packed up her things.

“If I hadn’t been late, we’d have had more time. I cursed myself, got to my feet. A brief goodbye hug,” he said, going on to compare her exit to Cinderella.

    Prince Harry in Spare

“Poof, she was gone. Compared to her, Cinderella was the queen of long goodbyes.”

Though the couple didn’t make plans to see each other again on the date, Harry said that later that night, they spoke on the phone and arranged to meet at the same spot the next evening. Meghan remembered later in an interview that that was where they decided they were going to make a go of things together.

Their relationship became public in late 2016, and their engagement was announced a year later on October 27, 2017.

The couple married in a large ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on May 19, 2018, which was attended by all senior members of the royal family and watched by millions around the world.

Prince Harry sharing his favorite aspects of being a father went viral on TikTok after he spoke of how much he had learned.

The Duke of Sussex was interviewed by Hoda Kotb on Today in April 2022 during the Invictus Games at The Hague, in the Netherlands, and spoke about his new life in America.

A clip of their interaction went newly viral this week after it was viewed over 138,000 times and liked more than 6,800 times. It was posted with the message: “Prince Harry describes fatherhood and what it means to him. Harry and Meghan are goals.”

In the footage, Kotb suggested his relocation to America had given him “a whole restart” and new focus.

“No, I think the focus is very much the same,” Harry said, “certainly from my and my wife’s point of view.

Harry also spoke about how he feels Princess Diana’s presence in his life, having lost his mother in a car crash in Paris when he was 12 years old, in August 1997.

“For me, it’s constant and has been over the last two years; more so than ever before. It’s almost as if she’s done her bit with my brother and now she’s very much, like, helping me. Got him set up, now she’s helping me set up,” Harry said.

“That’s what it feels like, you know. He’s got his kids; I’ve got my kids. Circumstances are obviously different, but I feel her presence in almost everything that I do now, but definitely more so in the last two years than ever before. She’s watching over us.”

  • Prince Archie’s Sweet Moment With Harry and Meghan Goes Viral

Prince Archie’s Sweet Moment With Harry and Meghan Goes Viral

An adorable moment between Prince Archie, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has gone viral after footage from his royal tour debut in 2019 resurfaced on TikTok.

Archie is Harry and Meghan’s elder child, born in London in 2019, and he celebrated his fifth birthday on May 6. Increased attention has been drawn to the prince and his younger sister, Princess Lilibet, since the accession of their grandfather, King Charles III, to the throne in 2022.

The siblings visited Britain with their parents for the first time as a family in the summer of 2022, where they celebrated Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th year on the throne. Since the monarch’s death, Archie is sixth, and Lilibet seventh, in the line of succession to inherit the British throne.

For the majority of the first year of his life, Prince Archie lived in Britain while his parents were still working members of the monarchy, based at their former residence of Frogmore Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

In the Fall of 2019, when Archie was just four months old, Harry and Meghan embarked on an official royal tour of South Africa on behalf of Queen Elizabeth and the U.K. government. The couple took their infant son with them.

Dressed in an elegant print wrap-dress, Meghan matched Archie in shades of blue, while Harry walked alongside cooing at his son.

The footage has received in excess of 30,000 likes and over 1,000 comments, many of which praised the young prince and his parents.

“The world’s royals👑. They are loved all over the world,” one TikTok user wrote of the family.

“Beautiful baby, he’s so much like Harry, adorable,” posted another, with a further comment reading: “You can feel the love! they such a beautiful family and Arch is in sync with his parents….”

Despite the tour winning Harry and Meghan waves of positive media coverage, Meghan does not remember it fondly, telling Serena Williams in a 2022 podcast discussion that a fire broke out in Archie’s nursery while they were at an event.

The duchess said she felt pressured to carry on with royal duties while she wanted to be with her son, who thankfully wasn’t in the room at the time of the alleged incident.

When Harry and Meghan returned to Britain after the tour in late 2019 they soon left again, traveling to Canada for a family vacation. It was there they later revealed they decided to seek a part-time working arrangement with the monarchy which ultimately led to their split from the institution in 2020 and their move to the U.S.

The Sussex family currently lives in Montecito, California. They have not visited Britain together since 2022.

  • Whoa! Congratulations on the arrival of your new baby, the third baby is here! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s family. Once more, God has done it

Whoa! Congratulations on the arrival of your new baby, the third baby is here! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s family. Once more, God has done it

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle declared a few weeks before to the birth of their royal child that they would not be disclosing any details about the birthing process.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby,” reads the statement released by Buckingham Palace

Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”

Notably, it was never announced where Meghan planned to give birth. This was a major change from the Duchess of Cambridge’s birth plans. For each of her three children, the media was notified weeks in advance that she would be giving birth at the Lindo Wing in London’s St Mary’s Hospital, where Princess Diana had also delivered. In contrast, Meghan was rumored to want a home birth, harkening back to a much older royal tradition (all four of the Queen’s children were born at home), though that was never officially confirmed.

Today, with the publication of Archie’s birth certificate, it is confirmed that Meghan gave birth at Portland Hospital in London.

Previously, several publications had reporting that Meghan’s son was born in a hospital. The Daily Mail’s Rebecca English first broke the news that Meghan had given birth in a hospital on May 6, reporting that the Duchess “was whisked off amid such secrecy that even senior royals weren’t told.”

  • WHAT WAY FOR PRINCE HARRY? The Sussexes are now just a ‘side show’ for the Americans; meanwhile, reconciliation hopes in the UK seem dimmed by recent odds of events as ‘William has enough pressure on his heart’

WHAT WAY FOR PRINCE HARRY? The Sussexes are now just a ‘side show’ for the Americans; meanwhile, reconciliation hopes in the UK seem dimmed by recent odds of events as ‘William has enough pressure on his heart’

Meghan Markle’s list of celebrity friends is dwindling according to Paul Burrell, who claims the former Suits star and Prince Harry are now viewed as a ‘side show’ in America.

According to Burrell, the couple’s circle in the US is “shrinking,” with notable figures like Oprah Winfrey no longer as involved as they once were, despite attending their 2018 wedding and conducting their 2021 interview. Other high-profile wedding guests, such as George and Amal Clooney and David and Victoria Beckham, appear to have drifted away from the Sussexes.

Meghan and Harry's social circle is said to be getting smaller

Burrell acknowledged that Harry and Meghan once enjoyed immense popularity, but “Harry and Meghan were the most popular couple in the country at one time … but there’s since been a decline.”

Meanwhile, in the UK, recent events have seemingly dashed hopes of a reconciliation between Prince William and Prince Harry.

Following the announcement of the King’s cancer diagnosis on February 5th, Harry publicly disclosed his intention to travel to meet his father, which he promptly did the following day. Despite these visits, Harry has not had any encounters with William.

    Prince Harry and Prince William

According to one expert, William appears to disregard Harry’s existence. Royal commentator Jennie Bond dismissed speculation about a potential reunion between the brothers. Ms Bond said: “I think William has enough pressure on his heart and his head with his wife undergoing cancer treatment and his father, and the big job, and his kids, I don’t think he’s got room in his soul to worry about his estranged brother.

Prince William and Harry's reconciliation is just for mourning, not for life

Bond suggested that William simply does not have the capacity to focus on reconciling with his estranged brother, leading her to conclude that, in essence, William has distanced himself from Harry.
