ITV Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan ‘mortified’ as boyfriend appears in audience amid romantic surprise

Coleen Nolan revealed her boyfriend’s romantic Valentine’s Day surprise on Wednesday’s show before he was shown sweetly waving in the audience

Coleen Nolan joked she was “mortified” on Wednesday’s Loose Women as the show panned onto her boyfriend in the audience.

During the latest episode, which was a Valentine’s Day special, Coleen, 58, gushed about her boyfriend Michael, whom she met on dating app Tinder, after he surprised her on Tuesday evening.

Coleen said: “I was on the phone to my chap last night, I was a bit stressed, I was thinking: ‘I’m on my own tomorrow Valentine’s Day’, there I am, I’m on the phone chatting away to him and I turn around, he was chatting behind me. He’d come to surprise me.”

Smiling, she added: “That’s so romantic!” Later on the show, Coleen revealed that Olivia Attwood’s husband, Bradley Dack, was joining the show for the Valentine’s Day special.

This prompted co-star, Brenda Edwards, to ask: “Bradley’s here for Olivia, you said that your man came down last night, so where is he today? It’s Valentine’s Day today!”

Coleen then replied: “He’s here!” to which the camera panned onto a waving Michael in the audience as Love Is In The Air started playing with the panellists all saying: “Hello!”

A giggling Coleen then said: “Enough now, that’s mortifying! Time for competition now, thank the lord!” Coleen met Michael on Tinder back in 2021 but it wasn’t all plain sailing with the pair breaking up a number of times before deciding to give things a proper go last year.

After trying again, Coleen and Michael are now happier than ever – but the TV star has insisted that marriage won’t ever be on the cards for them.

Appearing on Monday’s instalment of the ITV daytime show, Coleen admitted that she has been living with Michael in recent months as a “trial run” to decipher whether or not they could make it a longterm living situation.

As it turns out, the trial run went better than expected, and Coleen has now confirmed that she and Michael will continue living together as they look forward to a future together.

Although she’s excited to take the huge relationship step with her beau, Coleen recently insisted that while she loves Michael, she will never marry him. Coleen revealed that Michael has made it clear that he would love nothing more than to tie the knot, but the Nolan Sisters singer doesn’t see herself walking down the aisle again.

Denise Welch’s partner had to get involved to help her when a recent health scare had her screaming like a wounded animal as she battled the pain of vertigo

Denise Welch was left “screaming like a wounded animal” after a recent health scare.

The Loose Women star has opened up about her battle with vertigo, explaining how the “debilitating” condition affects her day to day life. Whilst her symptoms have eased as of late, Denise recalled how the illness left her struggling.

Speaking on the show today, she said: “I’ve had it for about 15 years. My sister has it. They say it’s not hereditary, but she has it too. It feels like you are falling off the edge of something. So my normal vertigo would be that if I’m walking around, normally 90% of the time, I’ll be okay. But when I lie down at night, I go 1, 2, 3, 4, spin and it’s like a rollercoaster.

“It’s like when you used to get drunk, but without the fun getting there. That’s what it is. And then if I’d wake up in the night to go to the loo, I’d have to sit on the edge of the bed and hold the bed and it’s absolutely miserable.”

Denise went on to explain how vertigo affected her during a recent trip to New York.

“And last year in New York, I went to the airport early so that I could find some seats and lie down, it was so bad. It’s really, really debilitating. Anyway, I went to an ENT guy who sent me – this is after years of trying to get it done properly – went to an audiologist, check my hearing and said that was fine. And then it sounds pretty brutal, but we established it was mainly my right side.”

She added: “So Lincoln was with me. And he laid me down on the bed and he said, I’m going to put you backwards to the left, which he did, which was horrible, but not so bad. Then he sat me up and put me down to to to the right – they threw me backwards. First time, threw me backwards with my head to the left, then with my head to the right. Lincoln said I sounded like an a wounded animal.”

Denise ended up missing her stint on the show as she was so poorly, but since that meeting, she hasn’t got vertigo again. However, she did warn others to consult with their doctor before attempting something similar.

Speaking about that day, and her recovery since, she shared: “I was meant to be coming to get the train to come down to work that night. And I had to phone Ashley, our producer, and put Lincoln on. I was vomiting. I had to take the rest of the week off work. But then on the Friday, I woke up and it had gone. This is three months ago and I haven’t spun once.”

On Wednesday’s Loose Women, Olivia’s co-stars grilled Bradley about the comment, who insisted the remark was made as a “tongue in cheek joke”, he said: “At least I’m being honest!

“You know what, the first time I met Liv, obviously I think you’ve got to have some sort of attraction to speak to that person. So I’m guessing if I didn’t find her attractive then we might not have had that first conversation to actually meet, I think that’s what I meant by saying that.”

Olivia and Bradley got married in 2023 after first meeting years ago. The two had dated before splitting, where Olivia went on Love Island in 2017, and rekindled their romance after the star’s time in the villa.

Bradley admitted when Olivia went on Love Island after their split: “I was gutted, absolutely gutted!” while Olivia admitted she needed to “spread her wings” after their breakup.

Bradley added: “I tried to stop her from going, I was there the night before she left!” and revealed that he called her after she appeared on the show, with Olivia, who didn’t have his number saved, “really surprised” to hear from him.

Since rekindling their romance, the couple have gone from strength-to-strength with the duo getting married last year in a romantic London ceremony. Bradley said there are loads of things that made him realise Olivia was “the one” and her sense of humour is what first attracted him.

  • EXCLUSIVE: Linda Robson says Katie Price is desperate to be allowed back onto ITV’s Loose Women

EXCLUSIVE: Linda Robson says Katie Price is desperate to be allowed back onto ITV’s Loose Women

Writing in her new book Truth Be Told, Loose Women star Linda Robson has claimed that Katie Price is desperate to get back on the panel – but she says the former glamour model ‘can’t behave’

Linda Robson has said pal Katie Price is desperate to be allowed back on Loose Women and while she admitted she worries about the former model, she told her: “Katie, you can’t f***ing behave yourself, can you?”.

She also said that a “couple of people have taken against me for whatever reason” on the show but refused to name her nemesis. Writing in her new book Truth Be Told, Linda said: “I love Katie Price but sometimes I think she deliberately tries to shock. I did an awards show with her once where we were both supposed to be presenting together but no one could find her anywhere.

“She eventually turned up with minutes to spare. When we got out on the stage, she started talking about herself and I had to tell her, ‘Oi! It ain’t about you today.

Loose Women star Linda has claimed Katie wants to rejoin the panel
Loose Women star Linda has claimed Katie wants to rejoin the panel
“Whenever I bump into her now, she tells me how she wants to come back to Loose Women. And I say, ‘But, Katie, you can’t f*** ing behave yourself, can you?’

“I do worry about her. Sometimes I thought she’d been out late the night before a show. She used to sleep in the car on her way in and would arrive in her pyjamas and get dressed when she got there. I used to think that was quite a good idea actually. She always made plenty of headlines whenever she was on, though.”

Linda, 65, is best known for playing Tracey Stubbs in sitcom Birds Of A Feather in two stints on BBC and ITV. But she made her first appearance on panel show Loose Women in 2012 and has been a regular almost ever since.

Turning to talk about possible bust ups on the ITV show, Linda added: “There’s never been anyone I’ve refused to sit on the panel with, although I can’t speak for others on the show in the past. No, I’m not mentioning any names!

“And I think a couple of people have taken against me for whatever reason. I remember going into the canteen once and seeing someone from the panel sitting there with another woman. As I was walking towards her, I could see she was doing this thing of talking behind her hand and looking at me at the same time. Subtle as a brick.

“Lauren[daughter] was with me and she said, ‘She doesn’t like you, does she, Mum?’ ‘I’m not sure, Lauren…’ ‘No, I really don’t think she does.’ As we reached her table, she suddenly broke off from whispering and was all gushy saying, ‘Oh, hiiiii, Linda! How are you?’, which just felt really fake.

“This was when I was starting out as a regular and I don’t know if certain people were feeling insecure because they were bringing new panellists in. Maybe she felt like she was going to be given the boot. And thinking about it, she didn’t last much longer! That had nothing to do with me, though. I don’t think any of us can presume we’re safe forever.”

Despite this issue, Linda has no regrets about signing up for Loose Women. She said: “Signing that permanent contract just over a decade ago was the start of a wonderful new chapter and the team has been right by my side both on and off screen as the most supportive group of friends you could wish for.”

ITV Loose Women star lets slip close friend Sharon Osbourne is joining Celebrity Big Brother

Loose Women star Jane Moore made a huge blunder on live TV today when she let slip that a good friend of hers was going into the Celebrity Big Brother house, despite it not having officially been confirmed

Loose Women star Jane Moore let slip a good friend of hers would be heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Jane made her return to the ITV lunchtime show after being busy with other projects and heading on a number of other projects. However, as she discussed her return to the programme, she let slip one of the biggest names heading into the famous house.

Celebrity Big Brother bosses have yet to confirm who is heading into the house next week, but the show will kick off on Monday March 4th. Fans are thrilled to have the celebrities back in the house after a successful civilian series last year.

Speaking about where she’s been for the last few months, Jane revealed: “I was on tour with Sharon Osbourne. It was really good fun. She’s such a joy to interview because she’s so honest. She said to me, I don’t want to know any of the questions beforehand – and who says that to you. I was quite out there, with my questioning and it was brilliant.”

The other panellists then asked if she answered questions about Celebrity Big Brother, to which Jane quickly added: “She is. She is.” Kaye seemingly tried to remind Jane that ITV have yet to confirm who is going on, as Nadia added: “I wasn’t expecting you to answer that,” with Kaye sharing: “I don’t think ITV have confirmed that just yet, it’s just a rumour.”

Jane continued to insist Sharon was going in, before Kaye chimed in: “Will somebody send back the real Jane Moore?” Eventually, Jane realised her error, saying: “I mean sorry, it’s been rumoured that she’s going in. She will be amazing… if indeed she was to be going in.”

Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best have been sharing their dream line-up, with AJ sharing: “I definitely want to see someone from Selling Sunset, I want an American. They never quite fully understand the concept and they never know who the other UK celebrities are. The two worlds colliding is always perfection to watch. We want some A-list celebrities to get in there and ask where’s the champagne? We went them to think it’s going to be luxurious, but we’ve given them an economy shopping budget.”

Will added: “I want to have a mix of ages. It’s that intergenerational thing and seeing the difference between old-school celebrities and new ones. I want a musician, a sports person, a royal, a reality personality, they are part of the fabric of our current celebrity culture.”

Sir Bruce Forsyth passed away almost seven years ago – leaving behind his devoted wife Lady Wilnelia and their son. She had Loose Women viewers in tears as she reflected on their marriage.

Loose Women fans were in tears as Lady Wilnelia Forsyth-Johnson appeared on the show to reflect on her marriage and life with the late entertainment legend.

Sir Bruce passed away in August 2017 at the age of 89 after falling ill with a strain of pneumonia. The Strictly Come Dancing host had married former Miss World winner Lady Wilnelia, 66, in 1983 and they welcomed a son named Jonathan Joseph in 1986. This month, Sir Bruce would have turned 97 years old and Lady Wilnelia explained how much she still thinks about him while appearing on the ITV daytime talk show.

She joined the show which was helmed on Wednesday by Christine Lampard, 45, and with a panel consisting of Coleen Nolan, 58, Dame Kelly Holmes, 53, and Katie Piper, 40. As they prepared to introduce Lady Wilnelia to the show, the ladies discussed the entertainment legend and played clips from his life.

As Lady Wilnelia joined the table, Christine began: “So lovely to have you here. We’re all smiling and we’re all full of our memories. I can only imagine what it must be like for you to watch those moments.” She continued: “It’s remarkable the impact he did have for so, so many years in the ‘Biz’ that he called show. During her time on the show, Lady Wilnelia explained how she met Bruce when she was on Miss World in 1975. She recalled: “When I first met Bruce we didn’t have the internet or anything like that… I remember going out with him and the next day and a lot of people outside were saying ‘Nice to see you, to see you, nice!’ And I thought ‘My god he has all these friends!’ I had no idea that was one of his catchphrases and how famous he was.

“I was working in Paris after Miss World. Five years later, they asked me to judge, and Bruce was there too.”

Sir Bruce was born on 22 February 1928 and Lady Wilnelia shared with the Loose Women panel that she and her family like to mark his birthday after his death. She said: “We try to get together on special occasions such as his birthday.” She went on to explain that she struggled to watch videos of Sir Bruce, finding them “difficult” to watch as she misses him so much.

Her touching comments and anecdotes set Loose Women viewers off – with many taking to social media to say they had been reduced to tears by Lady Wilnelia’s stories. One fan wrote on X: “What a fantastic and emotional interview remembering Sir Bruce Forsyth. His wife is just adorable, kind, caring and loyal. Such a sweetheart! ! ! ! #LooseWomen.” While another wrote: “Why am I crying? #loosewomen,” and another commented: “I’m nearly in tears.”

Loose Women star Linda Robson has recalled the horrifiying moment she was punched in the face by a thug who stole her designer bag, but was given instant karma by a nasty surprise inside

Linda Robson was terrifyingly punched in the face and mugged, yet the thug had a nasty surprise when they realised what they stole.

The Loose Women star has recalled the scary moment as she had her Selfridges bag stolen. An attacker on a bike hit her in the face and made off with the designer bag. Linda was forced to cancel her work the next day as her face was “such a mess” following the horrific incident.

However, the former A Birds of a Feather actress admitted what was inside the bag offered her a “silver lining”. She shared: “Just as I stepped out into the street, someone wearing a hoodie and riding a mountain bike sped up to me, punched me in the face and stole the Selfridges bag out of my hand. They left me with a big black eye and I was really shaken up.”

“I was due to film something the next day but had to cancel that because my face was such a mess,” Linda wrote in her book Truth Be Told. “The one silver lining was the thought of this thug feeling all pleased with themselves for grabbing this Selfridges bag.” She added: “They’d be imagining what expensive treats might be inside and then reaching in to get a handful of s***. Linda’s designer shopping bag was actually filled with her dog’s poo. Earlier this week Linda stunned her Loose Women co-stars and viewers when she flashed her bra live on TV. She joined Ruth Langsford, Denise Welch and Kaye Adams on the ITV daytime show where they held a special episode celebrating women in their 60s.

The TV star joined in a debate over women “falling out of love” with their bodies as they got older. She decided to prove she did not feel that way, by proudly showing off her body to the audience. Linda stood up and lifted up her top, revealing her torso and bra, leaving her co-stars to go wild at her move.

Linda said: “I don’t love it but I think it’s amazing, it’s given me three beautiful children. And I’m still quite healthy at 65, not too bad.” The TV show panellist confirmed she had split from her husband Mark Dunford last year after 33 years of marriage and told The Mirror how she was doing after the split.

Linda said: “I’m alright, it’s been going on for quite a long time now. We are just trying to sell the house now and go our separate ways. But we are still on good speaking terms, and what has kept us on good speaking terms is the kids. We both love the kids more than anything else in the world and he’s been an amazing dad. I just want a little two-bedroom house so my granddaughters can stay, I’ve been with them all day today. They have [kept me going] yeah, I love looking after them.”

  • EXCLUSIVE: Coleen Nolan’s devastating diagnosis forcing her to make huge life change

EXCLUSIVE: Coleen Nolan’s devastating diagnosis forcing her to make huge life change

After suffering a serious chest infection and feeling unwell for some time, agony aunt and Loose Women star Coleen Nolan received a shock diagnosis that forced her to change her diet and habits

Coleen Nolan has revealed she is making urgent diet and lifestyle changes to avoid developing type 2 diabetes following a shock prediabetes diagnosis.

The Loose Women star had blood tests after suffering a serious chest infection and being unwell for a while. And although she was relieved to find out her lungs were healthy, the 58-year-old was told she was at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The condition increases the likelihood of heart disease, stroke and other serious complications – including kidney failure, nerve damage and blindness. Coleen says: “I was one-and-a-half marks off being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. It was a shock but, looking back, I hadn’t been feeling myself for some time. I’d been experiencing terrible, abnormal fatigue, which would strike out of the blue, like in the middle of Tesco, and I’d have to stop what I was doing and go and sleep somewhere. And I kept getting skin infections that would take forever to heal. When I googled the symptoms, I think I had every one of them apart from weight loss.”

Medics say the star can reverse the condition, which is associated with higher-than-normal blood sugar levels, and prevent type 2 diabetes by changing her lifestyle. Coleen says: “While the nurse emphasised it’s not a diet, I need to change what I eat. At home, I have a healthy plant-based diet as my daughter Ciara is an amazing vegan cook and makes all my meals. But when I’m in London working I’m a terrible snacker. I have a sweet tooth and I also love a bag of crisps – and I won’t just have one bag, I’ll have two. I had no idea there were six teaspoons of sugar in one bag of my favourites.”

The diagnosis made her determined to be fit for her UK tour, which kicked off last month. Coleen says: “It’s been a wake-up call to say, ‘OK, fatty, you’ve had enough snacks, step away from the fridge!’ My new diet is a work in progress and I’m still getting used to reading labels to check sugar content. But I’ve cut out all unhealthy snacks like chocolate and crisps. I’m having a healthy portion of carbs with breakfast, like sourdough toast, and for lunch, but no carbs in the evening.”

    The Nolan Sisters
    The Nolan Sisters
Coleen also has plans to do more exercise, which can help. She says: “I get out for walks with the dogs when I’m at home and I’m always active around the house and at the stables, but I need to up the exercise. My hotel in London has a gym that I’ve never seen the inside of and I’ve been there five years. Being overweight doesn’t help the situation, especially weight around your middle. But when you get to my age, you assume everything is down to menopause, so I hadn’t really noticed.”

The Mirror agony aunt is due for a check-up in three months to find out if the changes are working. She says: “I was shocked to learn around seven million people in the UK are thought to have prediabetes. In a way, I’m lucky I got a chest infection and had my bloods taken, or I wouldn’t know I have it. When you’re busy and stressed, as I am at the moment – working, rehearsing for my tour and moving house all at the same time – it’s easy to put your diet to the bottom of your list of priorities but you have to make time for your health.”

The star is also coming to terms with Ciara, 22, leaving home to go travelling. Coleen – also mum to Shane, 34, and Jake, 31, says: “Empty nest is real! I feel lost without her and miss her every day.” But the ex-Nolans singer is planning to make healthy meals from recipes Ciara left.

Coleen adds: “Life has given me a chance to turn things around and reverse the prediabetes, and maybe I’ll even get a few extra years. I’m going to do my best.”

What to do if you are at ‘high risk’

Prediabetes means your blood sugars are higher than usual but not high enough for you to be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

Douglas Twenefour, head of care at Diabetes UK, says: “It means you are at high risk of type 2 diabetes. Being ‘high risk’ doesn’t mean you’ll definitely develop it. With the right support, up to 50% of cases of type 2 diabetes can be prevented or delayed.”

Douglas stresses there is a lot of support available, saying: “In England, the NHS Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Programme, run in partnership with Diabetes UK, offers tailored support that covers healthy eating, moving more and losing weight.

“Your GP can refer you if you have prediabetes. As a first step, try Diabetes UK’s free online Know Your Risk tool. It takes just a few minutes and gives you information and support to help you reduce your risk.”

ITV Loose Women’s Rosie Jones issues amazing six-word response to vile ableist trolls

Rosie Jones joined her co-stars Katherine Ryan and Judi Love on Thursday’s edition of Loose Women as the comedians spoke about their latest TV offering and vile online abuse

Rosie Jones had a sharp six-word comeback to vile troll as she appeared on Loose Women earlier this week.

The comedian was on the ITV show with fellow comics Katherine Ryan and Judi Love on Thursday, talking about their new TV show. Charlene White was leading the show’s panel with Gavin and Stacey actress Joanna Page, former Love Island star Olivia Attwood, and Judi by her side as she hosted chats and debates.

The 43 year old ITV host asked Rosie about the vile trolling she is often subjected to online, specifically the latest round of abuse that show Rosie take a step back from social media for while.

The trolling took place following Rosie’s appearance The Royal Variety Show and Big Fat Quiz of the Year in December. Rosie, who is 33 and has cerebral palsy, was on the comedy quiz show with Jimmy Carr, Mo Gilligan, Katherine Ryan, Richard Ayoade, Mel Giedroyc, and Kevin Bridges.

Shortly after the Channel 4 show aired, Rosie told her fans she was staying out of the public eye for a while because of the sickening comments people were making about her, including albelist comments about her disabilities.

On Thursday’s Loose Women, Charlene asked Rosie: “The last time you made headlines was just in January last month, when so many people again were sending you messages on Twitter and Instagram about your appearance on Big Fat Quiz of the Year. Does that affect you in any way?”

Rosie gave a quick reply that showed she didn’t care about the trolls, and the viewers of Loose Women thought she was great. The funny woman declared: “No. Because I know they’re wrong.” Rosie’s words got a big cheer inside the ITV studio as she was thanked for standing up to mean people online.

The comedian went on to add: “I won’t be flippant about it. It does affect me. Being a comedian it opens you up to abuse. Comedy is so subjective. But when you add on being a woman, being gay and most importantly being disabled I don’t look and sound like a stereotypical comic and that makes people angry. I think when it comes to disability it’s much easier to be put me into a box of whether you are a vulnerable victim or an inspiration who wins gold medals for her country.” She joked: “I’m neither. I’m a silly little lady who talks about her boobs.”

Loose Women viewers watching at home were quick to praise Rosie on social media as the ITV show aired, with one writing: “Rosie truly is an inspiration. People who troll her have to be so insecure in themselves #LooseWomen.” Another added: “Oh Bless Rosie Jones! The Abusers are very wrong! ! ! ! ! #loosewomen.” A third declared: “Rosie Jones, on her first presenting role, God Love her. Amazing woman, she has every right to be proud. #loosewomen.”

After being on the Channel 4 quiz show on Boxing Day, Rosie talked about getting the same nasty comments she got after The Royal Variety Show and said she was going to take it easy over Christmas. She tweeted to her followers: “Rinse and repeat. Different telly show, same old ableism. Thanks for the support, but I’m gonna lie low for a bit and sink into the perineum of Christmas and New Year.”

Peter Andre says ‘girls are moody’ as he reflects on new baby’s gender with wife Emily

Peter Andre is expecting his third child with wife Emily MacDonagh imminently and the Mysterious Girl singer has opened up on how he feels about his fifth child’s gender

Peter Andre has revealed what he and wife Emily think about their third baby’s gender.

The couple appeared on Loose Women last week to discuss Emily’s pregnancy and the Mysterious Girl singer revealed he was hoping for a boy. Emily and Peter share Amelia, 10, and Theo, seven, while Peter is also father to Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, from his marriage to Katie Price.

Peter and Emily revealed they are keeping the baby’s gender a surprise and although the mum-to-be said she has no preference of whether their child is a girl or boy, the TV personality admitted he is secretly hoping for a baby boy.

Ahead of his 51st birthday this week, Peter revealed he and Emily are discussing names for the newest addition to their family. He said: “Emily and I appeared on Loose Women last week where I joked that I was hoping for a baby boy.

“But honestly, I don’t mind what the gender is as long as they’re happy and healthy. I’ve got two girls and two boys already and they’re all wonderful in their own way. Although I would say the girls are more moody and the boys are definitely more lazy LOL. We also haven’t chosen names yet, so we’d better hurry up. Time is flying!”

ITV)Peter went on to reveal in his OK! column that he has already started his birthday celebrations with a small get together last weekend with wife Emily. He continued: “My actual birthday on Tuesday will be quite chilled.

“The kids, Emily and I are going out for dinner to celebrate, and they’re choosing the place. I don’t mind where we go, as long as we’re all together.” Peter, who revealed Emily is expecting to give birth in a “few weeks”, said the new arrival is the “best gift I could ever wish for”.

Emily recently took to Instagram to pay tribute to her husband on Valentine’s Day. Sharing an image them as a couple, she said: “To my lovely husband, best friend and my Valentine forever! I couldn’t ask for anything more, you are always there to support me and the whole family and I am so grateful. Plus, at the moment I can’t even make it up the stairs so I truly would be stuck (downstairs) without you seriously though, thanks for being the best ever hubs I could ever ask for! Happy Valentines Day @peterandre.”

Peter previously revealed the couple suffered a health scare when Emily was rushed to hospital moments before he was about to go on stage. Speaking to OK! magazine, he recalled the hospital scare, saying: “I was due to go on stage in Grease in the West End and I got a call saying, ‘Emily’s been rushed to A&E.’ It was really worrying and obviously I immediately went to support her, but thankfully everything was OK.”

The singer and Emily married in July 2015 in Mamhead House and Castle in Devon, three years after going public with his new relationship.
