Woman has feet read by TV celebrity – and says results were life-changing

Jane began foot reading in 1999 and started teaching the techniques in 2003. In 2010 she was awarded honorary membership of the Association of Reflexologists for her outstanding services to reflexology

I had my feet read and it made me reflect on my life.

It occurred to me about halfway into my trip to Ormskirk that I might, in fact, have to show my feet to a stranger. Before anybody gets any ideas, I was making the journey to meet TV’s celebrity foot reader Jane Sheehan.

If you’re a fan of Loose Women, you may remember when Jane read the feet of the presenters, including Stacey Solomon and Kaye Adams. But that doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of Jane’s career.

Jane has also featured on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two. Her book, Let’s Read Our Feet, is a number one best seller on Amazon.

Jane began foot reading in 1999 and started teaching the techniques in 2003. In 2010 she was awarded honorary membership of the Association of Reflexologists for her outstanding services to reflexology.

As the UK’s leading foot reader, or, as Jane put it, with a chuckle, “one of the top five in the world, I just don’t know what out of five,” she has been teaching her skills to reflexologists and other therapists for more than 20 years.

For those of you that don’t know, foot reading is a skill adopted by holistic therapists which they say helps them work with clients at a new level of understanding. Foot reading is said to reveal personality strengths and weaknesses, and highlights hidden potential and undervalued talents.

Upon arriving at the foot clinic, I was eager to know more about how feet are read. Luckily, Jane was really friendly and happy to explain more. She made it clear that language is key in foot reading – so you communicate properly with the person whose feet you’re reading.

She said: “If I look at your feet and say you’re rebellious, you may think one thing, but somebody else may think of something entirely different.” Each part of your foot says something different – for instance, the size of your right big toe might tell about your people skills. Even shoe choice can hint at whether you’re shy or outgoing.

At first, I thought I’d just show Jane photos of my feet. But after Jane explained foot reading details, plus a good old chin wag and being offered a cuppa, I decided to get the full experience. It wasn’t surprising when Jane noticed that I’m sensitive and insecure, as well as finding handling many tasks simultaneously quite hard.

You might remember me mentioning before, I got diagnosed with ADHD in 2023. Many insights Jane came up with linked back to this, I mused, and she could see from my expression she was spot on.

Getting your feet looked at by someone might seem a bit odd, but Jane made me feel so comfortable. She told me that I am a person who loves deeply, but worries too much.

Jane also had tarot cards to show me

    Image:

Having my feet read was an amazing experience. After Jane finished studying my feet, she also did a little bit of tarot card reading for me. A beautiful card with a fairy told me to “be honest with myself.”

I really felt differently after having my foot reading. Jane was very nice and professional, and some of the things she said really struck a chord with me. It surprised me how much a foot reading could make me think about my life. I highly recommend giving it a go.

If you want to try this mind-blowing foot reading for yourself, you can join Jane’s workshop in Liverpool from February 3 to February 4. You can buy tickets on www.footreading.com.

Coleen Nolan compares Loose Women to Match of the Day as she spills on feud rumours

Coleen Nolan says her previous Loose Women exit was down to ‘certain people behind the scenes that weren’t being nice’ as she addressed panel bad blood claims

Coleen Nolan compared the Loose Women studio to Match of the Day but says life would be dull if there wasn’t disagreements.

The ITV daytime show has forever been dogged by rumours of feuds and fallings out but one of the mainstays insists there is no bad blood at all and they’re all just committed to making great TV. Coleen says just because the woman don’t all go for evenings on the town together, it doesn’t mean they don’t get on.

She says the team all “get on” and agrees with her co-star Kaye Adams, who said last year that she gets fed up that Loose Women regulars after often asked whether there are rows between them, and said it is a always barrel of laughs behind the scenes. Coleen says people must not mistake intense debate for annoyance.

    Coleen
Coleen has been regular face on the show’s panel for almost 25 years
    Image:

“We have to have little disagreements because otherwise it would be a boring show,” she told OK! Magazine. “If there’s a topic we all agree on, it’s boring, so we don’t do it. When there’s a little bit of something between Janet and me, or anyone else, every time we go to break we say ‘that’ll be on the front covers this week!’.”

Coleen insisted there is no problem at all between the panel, and said she didn’t enjoy seeing women pitted against other women. “I sometimes get upset because I don’t the like them saying, ‘You can’t believe what you see on the television’, or get us to hate each other,” she said. “It never happens with shows featuring men.

“You don’t see a story about Match of the Day saying ‘Gary Lineker’s at war with this person or that person’ do you? Hand on heart, we all get on. But I live in Cheshire so it’s not like I just pop out for a drink with them. So no, we’re not always out on the town together, but God help everyone when we are because when we do go out, it’s wild!”

She opened up about her short-lifted departure – and says it was people off camera that caused her to make the decision, and not any of her co-stars. In 2011, Coleen announced that she was departing the show so she could concentrate on other TV programmes but it wasn’t long before she was back.

She continued: “I went through a period where I left for a while because I’d fallen out of love with it a bit and I needed to take a break. “It was because certain people behind the scenes weren’t being nice and I wasn’t enjoying it. Then those people went onto other things and great people came in, and I’ve loved it ever since.”

Kaye said last year on all those fall out claims: “I do get fed up that almost always we will be asked whether we bitch about each other. I’m just waiting for Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker to be asked the same question because they just never are. When we are asked about feuds, we think it is funny. It is certainly not a viper’s nest.

“The one thing that I can guarantee when I go to the Loose Women, regardless of the line-up of women, regardless of the topics, at some point in that day, I will have a real belly laugh. And I don’t know how many other people can say that about their working life. I’m really delighted to say, hand on heart at some point in the day, we will be creasing ourselves, which is a lovely thing.”

ITV Loose Women star’s ‘terror’ over health emergency live on air which led to A&E dash

Loose Women star Kaye Adams has shared the terrifying moment she had a sudden health emergency just before she went live on air as she ended up in A&E

Loose Women’s Kaye Adams has revealed how she was rushed to A&E after an emergency on the show.

The TV presenter, 61, has recalled the terrifying moment as she appeared on the ITV panel show a week on from the incident. She was joined alongside Kelly Holmes, Judi Love and Nadia Sawalha to discuss the day’s topics. During the programme on Friday. Earlier this week Kaye revealed she suddenly lost all hearing in her right ear ‘minutes’ before she went live on on air.

During today’s show, Kaye opened up on the scary moment as she told viewers: “We showed you a clip of what happened to me last Friday just before we went on air. I just completely lost my hearing in my right ear.” A clip was then shown of Kaye struggling to hear the producers in her ear piece last week, where she said she could “hear nothing”.

After the clip had finished, she told the panel: “That’s what you call a brave face because behind that I was seriously panicking. I wear hearing aids which is fine and I manage quiet well. I have got this television ear piece and then I can hear you lot with hearing aids.” She joked: “I sometimes switch [them] off.” Kaye added: ” So to completely go deaf in this ear was terrifying.”

Kaye had taken to her social media earlier in the week where she informed her followers about the incident. She wrote: “I was absolutely terrified, I thought, ‘Oh my god, what has gone wrong? On Friday when I was doing Loose Women, minutes before we went in air, my right ear just went dead. I put my earpiece in, there was no sound I couldn’t hear a thing.”

She decided to push through the show, and didn’t mention her health scare to viewers. However, she became increasingly worried when she got home to Glasgow and her hearing still had not returned. The Loose Women star explained that as she became more concerned, she started to google her symptoms after losing all hearing in one ear so suddenly.

Kaye went to sleep but woke up the next morning and went straight to the hospital where she was looked after by the ‘dedicated’ nurses. S he was then sent for an audiogram at a nearby Boots hearing centre but was left utterly mortified when she discovered the reason behind her sudden hearing loss.

The TV star revealed that the audiologist pulled out a huge lump of wax, which was affecting her hearing. “I mean I am embarrassed to say this because, honestly, my head was going to some terrible terrible tumour, I am very melodramatic,” Kaye told her followers. “Paula pulled out the biggest bit of wax you have ever seen.”

The broadcaster and ITV panellist, 43, is one of the many influential guests at this year’s ceremony taking place in Sheffield. The MOBO Awards has been celebrating music of Black origin and culture for over a quarter of a century now and this year it returned with its 26th ceremony.

Taking part in Sheffield for the first time at the Utilita Arena tonight, the show is hosted by Love Island’s Indiyah Polack, comedian Babatúndé Aléshé and YouTube star Zeze Millz. Ahead of the show, Charlene talked to Mirror Online about the ‘scale and impact’ the MOBO Awards had.

Charlene, who also presented the Paving the Way Award, told the Mirror: “It’s such a beautiful celebration of Black British music. Being here and the scale in which it is now, it shows how important Black British music is. It shows its scale, it shows its impact and it shows its range and its reach.”

Those topping the nominations this year included female rapper Little Simz who took the joint lead with four nods alongside fellow rapper Stormzy. Hot on the heels of her record-breaking seven Brit Award nominations, singer-songwriter RAYE, who has seen phenomenal success over the last year, has also bagged three MOBO nominations.

Tonight’s incredible performances had the Sugababes grace the stage, along with Cristale, So Solid Crew’s Kaish, Harvey, Romeo and many more. The first award of the evening was announced, with Potter Payper’s ‘Real Back In Style’ beating off some stiff competition to be named Album of the Year.

Bugzy Malone won the Best Grime Act award and delivered quite the acceptance speech on stage. The Manchester-born rapper and actor paid tribute to his northern roots – telling the crowd when he started in the industry, not many from the north were making money and winning big honours in the business.“But look at us now,” Bugzy declared, as he went on to spray champagne! The celebration left an impact, with the hosts for the next award noting the stage was still damp as they arrived to announce Sault as the winner of the Best R&B/Soul Act. Little Simz collected the award on behalf of Sault, to keep their identity private

MOBO was founded by Kanya King and the first-ever awards ceremony was presented by Baby D, in the Best Dance Act category. The event honours achievements in hip-hop, grime, UK Drill, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel and African music. Across its 22-year history, the MOBOs were broadcast on Channel 4, BBC Television, ITV2 and Channel 5 before returning to the BBC in 2020.

  • ITV Loose Women in chaos as two stars set to quit the show over ‘unacceptable’ change

ITV Loose Women in chaos as two stars set to quit the show over ‘unacceptable’ change

Two long-running Loose Women stars are reportedly set to quit the daytime TV show after ITV brought in PAYE-only contracts, which could spark a major panel shake-up

Two Loose Women stars have reportedly ‘quit’ the show following a row over contracts.

Long-running panellists Janet Street-Porter, 77, and Jane Moore, 61, are said to be in talks with ITV bosses who want them to sign contracts saying they are permanent employees rather than freelance journalists. The new contract row follows former Loose Women panelist Carol Griffin exiting the show for similar reasons last year.

Jane, who anchored the popular daytime show from 1999 to 2002 before returning as a regular panellist in 2013, hasn’t been seen on the panel since December 29. Janet, who has been a Loose Women regular since 2011, has continued to appear, though the issues are still not thought to be resolved.

The row is said to be down to ITV’s new PAYE-only contracts policy, in response to HMRC’s crackdown on off-payroll working rules – or IR35 – to ensure that freelancers broadly pay the same income tax and national insurance as employees. Sources claim that Janet and Jane, who have both been freelance for decades and work on other projects, are “furious” over the “unacceptable” contract change, which do not offer holiday, sick pay or pensions and forbid some work opportunities – especially as Jane only appeared on the show 10 times last year.

Despite “loving” working on Loose Women, the pair may be ready to walk, following in the footsteps of former panellist Carol McGiffin, who quit after refusing to sign a similar contract last year. A source told MailOnline: “Jane and Janet are furious. They have done such a lot of work for that show and they love it – but they do work across different companies and, as journalists, value their independent status. Things have got pretty tense. If it carries on, there might be a big change to the line-up.”

A spokesperson for ITV told The Mirror: “We don’t comment on individual cases, but ITV ensures that it complies with and follows all HMRC guidance and legislation.” The Mirror has reached out to representatives for both Jane and Janet for further comment on this story.

Speaking in May last year, Carol said “no one in their right mind” would sign the contract which she called “totally unjust and unworkable for me”. During an appearance on GB News, the TV star said she no longer watches the show and claimed it’s become too ‘woke’ for her. Many of ITV’s biggest stars have recently been in battles with HMRC, including Loose Women star Kaye Adams. The 61-year-old recently won a 10-year fight with the tax man over IR35 rules, but said the experience had left her feeling “utterly beaten up and gas lit”, even comparing it to how Post Office postmasters were treated in the Horizon computer scandal.Former Good Morning Britain host Eamonn Holmes recently lost two HMRC appeals over whether he was freelance or staff at ITV. He revealed he had been forced to sell his beloved house in Belfast to pay £250,000 in backdated tax, as well as facing “hundreds of thousands” in legal fees.

Loose Women star and mum-of-five Stacey Solomon has unveiled her incredible body transformation after working hard in the gym for the past nine months

Stacey Solomon has showcased the results of her hard work in the gym – and her fans can’t believe their eyes.

The mum-of-five, 34, has been hard at work when it comes to exercise in recent months and her dedication to her new fitness and lifestyle regime is clearly paying off as the Loose Women star unveiled her impressive abs and toned tummy in a new Instagram snap.Posting the gorgeous snap on her Instagram stories, Stacey revealed that she had to force herself to go to the gym on Tuesday morning, but after doing so, she felt ten times better in herself. Stacey’s mirror snap saw her show off her toned tummy in a black workout set which hugged her figure perfectly.

Alongside her latest offering, she wrote: “Got up and run my little bum off today. I’m so proud of myself because I began this little journey basically to get rid of Joe’s treadmill and to prove a point and here I am nine months later. Feeling so buzzing, like more awake and alive because of a little bit of exercise a day. For anyone who thinks they can’t, I promise, you can if I can. I was allergic exercise. One step at a time. You’ve got this.”

Stacey is a proud mother of five children – Rex, 4, Rose, 2, Belle, 1, and Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11 from previous relationships. Stacey has been focusing on her health and fitness, doing regular workouts, runs and gym sessions, thanks in part to the support of her sister over the last nine months.

Even though she’s had a deep love for sports, particularly competitive ones, Stacey had to put this passion aside due to managing “three children in four years”. After making the decision not to have any more kids (which upset many of her fans), Stacey now has more time to focus on herself.

“I want to feel athletic again, because I did feel really unhealthy,” Stacey admitted during the Energy Equation podcast with physiologist and lifestyle expert Oliver Patrick.

Although she wasn’t damaging her body directly, Stacey acknowledged that her energy levels had slumped and were not where they should be with three young children to look after at the time. She also expressed the desire to avoid mobility issues like what her mum Fiona is dealing with, and hopes to “protect” herself as she grows older.

Stacey’s personal trainer sister, Samantha Stone, promised her she would “fall back in love” with exercise. Now a couple of months into her fitness journey, Stacey admitted on the podcast: “I’m about six months in and I feel horrible if I miss a workout or if I don’t go for a walk or a run or something. I hated running, but now I love it.”

She still finds exercise tough, saying: “I’d say the feeling during exercise is ‘I’m going to die’ still, but it’s the feeling afterwards I just feel stronger, for one.” Stacey now regularly attends Barry’s Bootcamp gym, where her sister works, and also does workouts at home.

When it comes to food, Stacey, who loves her grub, doesn’t restrict herself but tries to cook everything from scratch instead of eating processed foods. She acknowledges that juggling kids, managing their home known as Pickle Cottage, and work commitments can be tough.

“This is the time of life where you power through every single second of each waking day if you want to make the most of it and you want to get everything you can out of it,” she said. “You’ve just got to suck it up. It’s going to be hard and you’re going to be very tired.” We are working as hard as we can to try and make sure we fulfil our goals for our children’s futures. It’s that point in life where you just have to go, go, go.”

Exclusive: Charlene White ‘lucky’ to work with ITV Loose Women co-stars as she praises their friendship

Loose Women have been hit with rumours that the stars are feuding when the cameras aren’t rolling. Charlene White shut down the claims as she praised her co-stars

Loose Women star Charlene White praised her ITV co-stars as she gushed about their incredible friendship.

The 43-year-old newsreader joined the panel of the ITV daytime show in 2021 and is regularly seen guiding the conversation as the main host on the show. Over the years, there have been rumours about the panellists feuding behind the scenes but Charlene slammed the claims as she discussed the care they have for each other.

Speaking exclusively to Mirror Online at the MOBO Awards 2024, Charlene discussed what it is really like working on the programme. She said: “It’s a bunch of mates having a laugh. A lot of times they cut back to the studio after an ad break and we’re all still laughing… I’m lucky to work with an incredible bunch of women.

“We all have fun… Every morning we have our meeting together, it’s a room full of joy and laughter… It’s a room full of friendship and a room full of compassion, we care a lot about each other.”

Charlene recently opened up about the show and said she’s ‘loved’ the three years she’s had on the show. Speaking to Women’s Own, she admitted she was thrilled to recently welcome Love Island’s Olivia Attwood and model Christine McGuinness to the panel.

And she was also glad that her new personal friend, Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver, has been added to the lineup of rotating panellists. The pair bonded when they both took part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2022. And Charlene has credited herself for bringing 60-year-old Sue into the Loose Women fold.

She said: “When we came out of the jungle a year ago, I said to Sue, ‘I think you will fly if you join our Loose Women panel,’ and look at her now. She’s on tomorrow as a panellist and she fills in every now and then, which is incredible.”

Looking to the future, Charlene predicts a bright future for the lunchtime show. She gushed: “I feel like I work with some of the best women in the business who I learn from every single day. And what’s amazing is, we’re always inserting people to our stable, which means we’re learning so much about each other, and they’re still learning about us. I think what we do is brilliant and I’m really proud of what we do every day.”

‘Guilty’ Linda Robson speaks for first time on marriage split – and plans for future with children

Speaking for the first time about the split from her husband, Linda, 65, has now ruled out finding love again as she plans to move out of her long-term home into a two-bed house near her children

It’s been an incredibly tough few years for Loose Women’s Linda Robson. First came the breakdown and battle with drinking and OCD that left her on suicide watch.

And now she’s mid-divorce from the man she once called her rock – her husband of 33 years, Mark Dunford. Speaking for the first time about the split, Linda, 65, has now ruled out finding love again as she plans to move out of her long-term home into a two-bed house near her children. But, speaking to OK! magazine, she says it’s not her broken marriage that is haunting her most – it’s her guilt.

Linda, who had a breakdown and ended up in rehab, says: “I gave my family the worst time. I still find it hard to forgive myself for that. I’d always been the ‘strong’ one. Suddenly, they all had to look after me. I felt so bad for what I’d done to everyone who loved me. My family would come and visit me on Sundays – instead of us all at home having a roast together. It was the worst time of my life, ever.”

To outsiders, the guilt may seem misplaced. The Birds of A Feather star began to spiral in 2018 after a bad reaction to diazepam, prescribed to help her sleep. It led to a nervous breakdown, OCD and heavy boozing before a long road to recovery.

But though back to her “old self”, Linda will never again have the same family – as she has split from Mark, the father of her children Louis, 32, and Bobbie, 28. She says there was nothing dramatic about the split though. They simply grew apart, she says, adding: “People do, sometimes, don’t they? We never had that much in common. I’m very sociable. Mark never enjoyed that side of things.”

What kept them together for so long, she believes, was their children – and she’s quick to point out that Mark has always been “an amazing dad”. “I’ve been sad about it, of course I have,” she says. “But we had two lovely children together. But they’re all grown up, living their own lives now. Now, it’s me and Dolly the dog. [But] I’m in a really good place. Work’s good.”

Linda and Mark are planning to sell the period home they shared in Islington, Central London, and Linda is getting a two-bed home nearby, so she can be near the kids. But while she’s officially single again, Linda is not looking for another relationship.

    Linda Robson on OK!
Linda’s full interview and shoot is in this week’s OK! magazine

“No, no, no!” she squeals. “I don’t need a man. I’ve got my friends and my family. I’m not interested in dating, I’m too old now. I can’t be bothered with all that ‘jiggy jiggy’.” Speaking of which, Linda’s mischievous actress pal Denise Welch bought her a vibrator last year, having realised her friend had never owned one. “I was like, what the hell do I do with this?,” she says. “What if the kids find it?! So I ended up giving that away!”

Linda is sharing her new beginning in her memoir Truth Be Told: Tales from a Baggy Mouth, which was an emotional but therapeutic experience to write. In it, Linda charts her fascinating life, from growing up in a working-class family in Islington to becoming one of Britain’s most adored TV stars.

She also reveals she has only been in love twice, first with boyfriend Tony Tyler, with whom she had daughter Lauren, then Mark. She has come a long way from her darkest days when, as she admits in the book, she “didn’t feel like she could carry on”. “It’s true,” she nods. “But I’m still here.”

Linda adds: “If anyone had told me I’d have a nervous breakdown, I’d have gone, ‘Me? Are you mad?!’ I’ve learned a lot about mental health. I never thought about it before what happened to me. I think a lot about it now. I’m just so relieved to be back to my old self.”

Two weeks ago, her kids and grandchildren took her out to mark four years since returning to Loose Women alongside co-stars such as Jane Moore, Nadia Sawalha and Kelly Holmes.

Linda’s struggle began in January 2017 when she quit her nightly bottle of wine after an item on Loose Women.

Going cold turkey meant she had to up her sleeping pills to sleep, only for the doctor to switch them to diazepam, which caused a bad reaction and sparked her downward spiral.

Her OCD spiralled out of control. She was having five baths a day, had to change the bed and empty the bin continuously, had to carry a toothbrush everywhere and had to keep her phone at exactly 100% .

As the OCD left her hyper, she drank more and more to numb it. It was on a girls’ trip to Ibiza in July 2018, that her Loose Women colleagues realised she needed help. She had some treatment but then the drinking began to get worse. At Christmas 2018 police were called to her home and her family were discussing having her sectioned.

Her daughter had even been banned from being alone with her grandchildren. And she admits self-harming in hospital. But she has not touched a drop of alcohol in years and is off all medication now. And she has plenty of friends, including some in very high places.

Sarah Ferguson was such a fan of Birds of a Feather that she sent Linda a personal Christmas card for years. “[Queen] Camilla loved it, too,” says Linda. “She came to ITV once, as she wanted to meet the Birds Of A Feather girls. She was so lovely. We ended up just talking about our grandchildren!”

Linda spoke exclusively to The Mirror at the TV Choice Awards 2024 on Monday evening, as she confirmed whether reports that two of her show pals had “furiously” left the show for good. Reports recently suggested long-time show panellists Janet Street-Porter and Jane Moore were leaving after a row with bosses.

The pair were said to be in talks with bosses who wanted them to sign contracts saying they are permanent employees rather than freelance journalists. Jane, who has been on the show since the beginning, and Janet, who has also been with the show for a long time, were said to be “furious” according to the claims.

But Linda has hit back at the reports, confirming Janet and Jane are going nowhere. She also addressed her own future on the ITV series ahead of its 25th anniversary, while revealing where her co-stars have been after recent absences on the show.

Calling the rumours “a load of rubbish”, Linda was quick to tell The Mirror the truth about Jane and Janet’s futures on the series as she agreed they were huge parts of the show. She told us: “That’s all rubbish, a load of rubbish.”

On what the pair have been up to and explaining their absences, she went on: “Janet has been away so he’s had a couple of weeks away, and Jane has had all her own stuff with her column and other bits, and she’s off walking somewhere. I couldn’t think of anything worse!”

Addressing her own future, she appeared to confirm plans to stay on the series as she shared hoped of a big celebration for the show’s 25th anniversary later this year. She said: “I hope they go big and make a big fuss of us all, that would be nice. I’ve been there for 20 years and it’s 25 years old.”

Earlier this month it was reported that Janet and Jane have become the latest long-serving panelists to quit the ITV show following a dispute over their contracts. A source told MailOnline: “Jane and Janet are furious. They have done such a lot of work for that show and they love it – but they do work across different companies and, as journalists, value their independent status.

“Things have got pretty tense. If it carries on, there might be a big change to the line-up.” A spokesperson for ITV told The Mirror: “We don’t comment on individual cases, but ITV ensures that it complies with and follows all HMRC guidance and legislation.”

Linda’s defence of her colleagues comes after they have supported her through her heartbreaking marriage split. The Birds of A Feather star announced she had split from husband Mark Dunford after 33 years of marriage in November.

This week, Linda addressed her break-up and the reason they went their separate ways. Now, speaking exclusively to The Mirror Linda revealed how she was doing after the split, and how her loved ones had helped her.

Linda said she and Mark remain good friends, as they move on into the new chapters of their lives. Linda told us: “I’m good thank you, really good. I’m alright, it’s been going on for quite a long time now. We are just trying to sell the house now and go our separate ways.

“But we are still on good speaking terms, and what has kept us on good speaking terms is the kids. We both love the kids more than anything else in the world and he’s been an amazing dad.

“I just want a little two bedroom house so my granddaughters can stay, I’ve been with them all day today. They have [kept me going] yeah, I love looking after them.”

ITV Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan takes huge step with Tinder boyfriend after vowing to never marry him

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan met her boyfriend Michael on Tinder in 2021 and later went public with their romance in 2022 but has since vowed to never tie the knot with him

Coleen Nolan has taken a huge step in her relationship with her boyfriend Michael, whom she met on dating app Tinder.

The Loose Women star, 58, met Michael on Tinder back in 2021 but it wasn’t all plain sailing with the pair breaking up a number of times before deciding to give things a proper go last year. After trying again, Coleen and Michael are now happier than ever – but the TV star has insisted that marriage won’t ever be on the cards for them.

Appearing on Monday’s instalment of the ITV daytime show, Coleen admitted that she has been living with Michael in recent months as a ‘trial run’ to decipher whether or not they could make it a longterm living situation.

As it turns out, the trial run went better than expected, and Coleen has now confirmed that she and Michael will continue living together as they look forward to a future together.

Although she’s excited to take the huge relationship step with her beau, Coleen recently insisted that while she loves Michael, she will never marry him. Coleen revealed that Michael has made it clear that he would love nothing more than to tie the knot, but the Nolan Sisters singer doesn’t see herself walking down the aisle again due to her own insecurities and self-sabotage.

Since the pair met, Coleen has already broken up with Michael three times before they finally decided to give their relationship a real go of it.

The Loose Women star first went public with her relationship in January 2022 after finding Michael on Tinder. However, she later revealed that she was incredibly apprehensive about going public with her new romance and felt ‘freaked out’ by all the attention.

Opening up about her future with Michael, Coleen recently told OK! Magazine: “I might get engaged, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I’m going to walk down the aisle. I know Michael would like to marry me and to be fair to him, it’s probably from insecurity because I’ve finished with him three times since I met him.”

Despite her reservations, Coleen has been trying hard to rid herself of her past traumas when it comes to relationships. The Loose Women star was previously married to EastEnders actor Shane Richie. The two stars first met in 1986 and planned to marry in a huge ceremony in 1990 but eloped to Florida at the last minute when their plans took another direction.

They pair went on to have two sons – Jake Roache, 28, and Shane Jr Nolan, 32, and had a blessing at a church when Coleen’s father fell ill a few years later. But their romance wasn’t to last and the pair split in 1997 – with both stars later admitting to extra-marital affairs.

In her 2009 autobiography, Coleen revealed she first became suspicious the former EastEnders actor was up to no good during a stint on stage in Manchester for a production of Grease. In his own memoir, Rags to Richies, Shane held his hands up to cheating with the actress in question, Claire Taylor.

After parting ways with Shane, Coleen went on to find love again with musician and future second husband Ray Fensome. The pair welcomed daughter Ciara into the world on 19 June 2001 and Ray popped the question a few years later in 2005. The pair become husband and wife in November 2007, but it wasn’t to last forever – with their split announced in February 2018 after two years of marital difficulties.

After experiencing the heartache of being cheated on, Coleen has been working on herself in recent years in a bid to try and not sabotage her current relationship. The Loose Women star has sought therapy for everything she has been through – and hopes it’s making a difference in her relationship.

“It was all my issues, because of what I’d gone through, so I was pushing him away thinking I couldn’t deal with it,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’ve had therapy, I’ve sorted my life out, and I’m very open to everything he’s providing me emotionally, and it’s fantastic. So let’s not try to fix something that isn’t broken.”
