King Charles ‘flew prototype UFO in Canada’ claim witnesses in new documentary

A new documentary about the British Royal Family’s interest in UFOs and the paranormal has investigated claims that King Charles flew an actual UFO in Canada in 1975

A new documentary delving into the British Royal Family’s fascination with UFOs and otherworldly phenomena explores some rather outlandish allegations, including one that King Charles piloted a genuine UFO in Canada back in 1975.

‘The King of UFOs’ spotlights an interview with Canadian diver Dan Costello, who asserts he saw the King at the time still the Prince of Wales at the helm as one of three pilots guiding what appeared to be a prototype UFO at Sandy Point in Nova Scotia. Costello maintains that the vehicle was UFO-esque and discharged a bluish ionic flame which singed the earth beneath it, consequently altering the ground cover to grass.

He suggests that King Charles was positioned at the adjacent HMS Endeavour serving as a helicopter pilot and was summoned for a clandestine endeavour known as Project Serpico. In his eye-opening claim, Costello remarked: “The craft had dual rotor blades like a helicopter, but it would also just sit and hover in the sky with the blades not on and with no sound of propulsion just a faint crackle of electromagnetism.

“I don’t think it was extra terrestrial but might be technology developed by Nikolai Tesla who had a facility here and now this was being used by the US, Canadian and British Military.”

Mark Christopher Lee, the director of the film, rigorously examined Costello’s extraordinary narrative and unearthed supporting information, suggesting that the techno-wizardry in question could be akin to what American military personnel like David Grusch have purportedly encountered firsthand.

Lee suggested a tantalising theory, questioning: “What if what we are all seeing in the sky and thinking are extra-terrestrial spacecraft are actually just a secret highly advanced earthbound technology? What if Prince Charles was involved with this project – does King Charles know the truth about UFOs? If so he should release this truth to the public. We deserve to know! “.

Despite reaching out to the Royal household, Lee has yet to receive a response after writing to King Charles regarding the mysterious 1975 event at Sandy Point. Lee admitted his initial doubts, saying: “I was quite skeptical about Costello’s claims at first but since the film has been released numerous witnesses have come forward to state that they remember this Sandy Point incident and that there were weird craft flying in this area.”He also offered an alternative explanation for another well-known mystery, stating: “This may also explain the infamous nearby Shag Harbour UFO incident which people have suggested was a UFO – the truth is probably that it was an experimental technology that the US, Canadians and British wanted to keep secret and the UFO alien story was a good cover for this.”

The documentary ‘The King of UFOs’ featuring these revelations is currently available on Amazon, Tubi, Apple, and GAIA.

Tommy Fury refuses to speak about Molly-Mae or cheating rumours in awkward This Morning grilling

Former Love Island star and professional boxer Tommy Fury joined This Morning hosts Ben Shepherd and Cat Deeley on Thursday morning to promote his new book

Tommy Fury refused to speak about the real reason behind his split from Molly-Mae Hague in an awkward This Morning interview on the release day of his memoir.

The former Love Island star, 25, appeared on the ITV programme to promote his new book, titled Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life as a FuryTommy has released the book just two months after his shock split from Molly-Mae and has added a chapter dedicated to the reason behind their split.

While on the show, Tommy was asked by hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley about why he and Molly-Mae decided to call it quits on their love story after five years. Their split came just one year after Tommy got down on one knee and popped the question to the blonde bombshell in an incredibly romantic proposal.

The couple, who share daughter Bambi together after welcoming her in January 2023, have maintained that she is their main priority going forward as they continue to navigate co-parenting following their breakup.

Appearing on This Morning, Tommy was asked about the cheating allegations which swarmed him after his split with Molly-Mae. Tommy was accused of cheating on the social media powerhouse with a Danish girl while on a lads holiday in Macedonia.

The professional boxer, who is the younger brother of Tyson Fury, has vehemently denied the claims and even dedicated a chapter in his book to setting the record straight. However, when grilled by This Morning hosts Ben and Cat, Tommy awkwardly swerved any questions about the cheating allegations.

He insisted that the reason behind the split is sacred between him and Molly-Mae, and it’s something which he will not be opening up about on live TV. When asked by Ben why he felt comfortable to address it in his book and not on TV, Tommy said that he felt like he could share his feelings freely in writing, but that he wasn’t going to speak about it again.

Tommy told Ben: “I’m going to let us deal with that in private and leave that stuff to me and Molly out of respect. I’m gonna leave all that stuff for me and Molly to work through.”

“What I did is I talked about all my feelings in the book, I felt free in the book to write about it. But the rest of it is between us,” he added.

Tommy has continued to deny the allegations, insisting that the truth will one day come out about the sad reason they had to go their separate ways. When announcing their split back in August, Tommy wrote: “I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship. The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad.

“Bambi is our priority. Please respect our privacy, and our families’ privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.”

After their split announcement was released, reports came out that Tommy ‘cheated’ on his fiancée with ‘multiple women’. After hours of infidelity rumours hitting the headlines, Tommy finally responded to the claims with a furious denial.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, a spokesperson for Tommy furiously denied the claims. They said: “Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers.”

The dad-of-one was said to have been “distraught” as he knows the allegations couldn’t be further from the truth.

This Morning star Trevor Sorbie reveals terminal cancer diagnosis – ‘I might not make Christmas’

Celebrity hairdresser Trevor Sorbie has announced the sad news that he has terminal bowel cancer, telling This Morning viewers he may only have weeks to live

A much-loved member of the This Morning team has revealed they have terminal bowel cancer.

Legendary hairdresser, Trevor Sorbie, 75, broke the news on the show today, telling hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, he “might not make Christmas”.

Joined by his wife, Carole, in the studio, he said: “I lost a lot of blood one night and I was unusually disturbed about that. I went to the hospital and they told me I had bowel cancer.

“I had a little panic attack and Carole and I looked at each other and we were just both speechless walking down the road… I didn’t know what to say. I went and had a big gin and tonic and that helped! But then it spread to my liver, I had a six hour operation, but it came back to my liver, had another operation, and now the major [growth] they won’t cut it out because it’s too close to a major blood vessel.”

Trevor continued: “But the thing is with me, I never wake up thinking, ‘Oh poor me, I’ve got cancer’ or feel sorry for myself, I know I’ve got it here [points to stomach] but I haven’t got it here [points to head] and I’ve been going to work two days a week, up until two weeks ago.

“I go there because that’s my medicine, that is my life. Sixty years I’ve worked passionately to achieve beyond my wildest dreams and when I go in, it’s my staff. I’ve had them for up to 30 years, they are like family, I’m just one of the team. I had a nurse access me and I said, ‘Will I make Christmas?’ and she said, ‘I don’t know Trevor’ and I said ‘I damn well will!”

Praising her husband, who opened his first salon in 1977 and boasts a range of top-selling hair products, for being so strong, Carole said: “It’s totally overwhelming most days, but I get my strength through this man – he’s guiding me through a good death – living a good life and dying a good death – and up until then I hadn’t through about that, but what we do every day now is show thanks for every day that we have and wake up together and it’s all the simple things.”

Revealing she has already started bereavement counselling, she continued: “I did struggle and was crying a lot but Trevor and my son encourage me to go to counselling and I’ve actually started bereavement counselling which I didn’t know you could do before and they are going to guide me through and hold my hand and up until two years, or however long it takes after the event, so I do feel very supported and feel lucky I have that support… but more so from Trevor than anyone because he’s incredible.”The iconic hairdresser, known for creating the iconic wedge haircut after working with Vidal Sassoon, said he had helped women with cancer by “cutting wigs for them”. Summing up his outlook on his diagnosis, Trevor concluded: “The brain rules the body – the heart play a big part as well – but that [the brain] is the engine room and because I’ve got a charity and have helped many women through cancer by cutting wigs for them and doing that, people handle it in different ways, there is no right or wrong way.”I believe the mind is stronger than any other function… doctors have even said, ‘Trevor, you’re breaking medical science, you shouldn’t be here right now.’”

Loose Women’s Charlene upset Brenda Edwards ‘didn’t get chance’ to announce son’s death

Loose Women panellist Charlene White was upset that her friend Brenda Edwards wasn’t given the chance to announce son Jamal’s death after he passed away at the age of 31

Loose Women’s Charlene White feels upset that Brenda Edwards wasn’t given the chance to announce son Jamal Edwards’ death.

The panellists – Charlene White, Judi Love, Linda Robson, Carol McGiffin and Frankie Bridge – appeared on the ITV daytime show today to pay tribute to Jamal, who had appeared on the show just a few months ago with his proud mum Brenda.

The news of Jamal’s sad death after a sudden illness was broke on social media last night and whilst Charlene understands that a lot of his success comes from social media and online, Charlene admits she was disappointed Brenda didn’t get the chance to announce the news herself, before she read out a statement that Brenda made earlier today.

Speaking on the ITV lunchtime show today, Charlene said: “The opportunity to share Brenda’s loss and the family’s loss, that was taken away from Brenda because of various people on social media who decided to tell Brenda’s story and to tell Jamal’s story without consulting Brenda, which was not fair in any shape of form.”

“We understand that a lot of Jamal’s incredible work was done through social media and done online and all those things. He was a powerhouse, he changed the UK music scene,” she added.

Charlene went on to pay tribute to Jamal’s incredible work in music – for which he received an MBE in 2015.

She explained: “One man changed the UK music scene in a way we’ve not seen in decades.

“But what people have to understand that there is work life and there’s family life and there’s home life and it should have been Brenda who was able to choose when the world got to know about his death.”

Some viewers took to Twitter to criticise those on social media for breaking the news first.

“No family should have their hand forced into confirming the passing of a loved one just because insensitive creatures want to do “hear it here first”. Honestly praying Brenda & her family get all the privacy they deserve moving forward #LooseWomen,” one wrote.

A second added: “I didn’t realise that the news wasn’t shared on Brenda’s and her families terms, disgusting. Condolences to Brenda, the family and who all knew Jamal, rest in peace #LooseWomen.”

Other viewers praised Charlene and co for a heartfelt and emotional show, insisting they did Brenda – and her late son – proud.

One penned: “Thank you #loosewomen for showing the humanity in grief and for honouring Brenda in the sad loss of her beloved Jamal,” as a second added: “Beautiful tribute on #loosewomen today. My heart goes out to Brenda, his sister and their Family.”

Brenda shared a heartfelt statement earlier today to confirm the tragic news.

“It is with the deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness. Myself, his sister Tanish and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated,” she said.

“He was the centre of our world. As we come to terms with his passing, we ask for privacy to grieve this unimaginable loss. I would like to thank everyone for their messages of love and support. Jamal was an inspiration to myself and so many. Our love for him lives on, his legacy lives on. Long live Jamal Edwards MBE, MBA, PHD.”

Elsewhere on the show, Linda Robson paid tribute to Jamal for taking her son under his wing.

“Jamal kept in touch with Louis over the years and took him under his wing. Took him to the BRITs, took him out socially with him as well. Brenda did such a good job with her son because he was a proper gentleman, he really was. He was the loveliest boy,” she said.

This Morning fans cringe as Eamonn and Ruth ‘snub’ Phil’s anniversary amid reignited feud

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford’s feud with Phillip Schofield appeared to have been reignited at the weekend after Eamonn branded the presenter ‘passive-aggressive’

This Morning fans were left raising their eyebrows today as Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were noticeably absent from Phillip Schofield’s work anniversary celebrations today.

It comes after their feud with Phil appeared to have been reignited at the weekend after Eamonn branded the presenter “passive-aggressive”.

Phil had been celebrated 40 years in the TV industry today, with Lorraine Kelly hosting a whole show dedicated to the presenter, which included Holly Willoughby and Phil’s wife Steph praising him.

Viewers were even surprised to see Fern Britton pay tribute, despite the pair famously falling out after she quit the show.

Yet Eamonn and Ruth did not make an appearance, prompting viewers to flock to Twitter to comment.

One wrote: “#Lorraine still no Eamonn and/or Ruth…”

While another joked: “They obviously ran out of time for the glowing tribute from Eamonn and Ruth.”

A third questioned: “Any tributes from Eamonn yet? #Lorraine.”

Another quipped: “No well wishes from Eamonn and Ruth?”

It comes after Eamonn addressed Ruth’s famous behind the scenes feud with Phil after he cut her short in the middle of a segment for Loose Women in 2019.

Eamonn said: “Phillip is renowned for snubbing people.

“He’s very passive-aggressive. It’s up to Ruth to say how she felt, but I was feeling hurt for her. No one would have snubbed me like that.”

A spokesperson told the Daily Mail: “This isn’t a version of events we recognise and as we have said before we wish Eamonn all the very best.

Speaking to the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine, he said that “no one explained anything” to him, adding: “They’re sly. They didn’t want to announce that I’d been dropped because it would adversely affect audience figures, so they made it look as if I’d walked away from them rather than the other way round.”

He went on to claim that bosses had had a chat with his agent and announced that he was going to GB News – despite the channel at the time only asking if he was interested in enjoying.

Eamonn also hit out at ITV’s diversity drive, branding his former bosses “hypocrites”.

Loose Women’s Jane Moore forced to apologise as Succession’s Brian Cox swears on live TV

Succession actor Brian Cox said ‘excuse me’ to the Loose Women panel before turning the air blue during a spirited chat on Wednesday’s edition of the ITV show

Loose Women’s Jane Moore was forced to apologise in the middle of the Wednesday instalment of the daytime show, after Brian Cox swore on live TV.

The powerhouse actor appeared on the ITV studio to discuss his tell-all memoir Putting the Rabbit in the Hat, which is being released with a new addendum.

The book chronicles the actor’s journey from humble beginnings in Dundee Scotland to becoming the toast of Hollywood thanks to his Emmy nominated role in hit drama Succession.

Sitting in between Jane Moore, Katie Piper, Janet Street-Porter and Linda Robson, the Succession star went on to chat about the hit HBO show and his sweary media tycoon character Logan Roy.

Host Jane asked the 75-year-old whether the fictional CEO of the media conglomerate Waystar Royco is the closest character to his own personality.

Brian replied: “I wouldn’t say that. I have an empathy for Logan Roy. I think he’s a little misunderstood. He’s a self-made man.

“He probably started off on one side of the political spectrum and ended up on the other side of it through experience and disappointment.”

He added: “The one thing we share in common is a disappointment with the human experiment. We do believe that. Look at the current crisis we’re living in.”

He then cheekily added: “I can’t believe we’re still in the same, excuse me, s*** that we’ve been in time and time again. We’re repeating.”

“This is daytime television. Apologies.” She then added with a smirk, “Mr Cox is going to go wash his mouth out after the break.

Brian replied: “Sorry – at least I’m not saying the ‘f word’,” before Janet turned the conversation back to HBO’s Succession.

She asked: “I was going to say, do you swear as much as your screen character?”

Brian laughed replying: “I do now. I didn’t used to, but I do now. It’s totally infectious.”

He then cheekily added: “I can’t believe we’re still in the same, excuse me, s*** that we’ve been in time and time again."

Jorgie Porter has opened up about the moment she was told she had miscarried quadruplets.

The 34-year-old first spoke about her miscarriage last year in November with property developer Ollie Piotrowski, 32.

At the time, she said the loss of their four babies brought them closer together, saying that if they could get through this they could get through anything.

Appearing on Loose Women together today, Jorgie spoke about finding out that they were having quadruplets in the first place.

“Obviously we were happy when we got the early scan, the doctor was a bit unsure about what to tell us,” she said. “They said that we can see three sacks… then we were told that there were four sacks.”

Upon realising that they were having quadruplets, Ollie said that he “fell over”.

“It was an extreme circumstance,” Jorgie explained, revealing that because she was having a high risk pregnancy that she would go for routine scans. “On the fifth or sixth scan she said you’ve had a miscarriage.”

On the same day she discovered that she was having a miscarriage, Jorgie had to make the incredibly difficult choice about whether to miscarry naturally or to have surgery to remove tissue from the uterus.

“We went with the route of surgery because I didn’t want to witness anything,” she explained. “They said that there could have been a lot of blood loss.”

“As soon as it happened, I cried and [Jorgie] stayed strong, then a week later [Jorgie] cried and I had to stay strong.”

It comes after Jorgie said last year that she wasn’t convinced she wanted to be a mum when she first got with Ollie, but seven months in everything changed.

Jorgie continued: “Ollie said he could see himself having children with me, and it was a big moment, because I felt like I absolutely wanted children with him, too.

“I remember driving to work thinking, ‘I want to come off the Pill’. I’d been dating him for less than a year, but I knew I wanted him to father my kids.”

Eamonn Holmes says he wasn’t ‘treated with respect’ on This Morning

GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes has been taking a swipe at his old channel again. The former This Morning host walked away from ITV last year, after presenting the daytime TV show for over 15 years

Eamonn Holmes has hit out at his former employers once again.

Just weeks on from branding ITV as ‘sly’ – and igniting a feud with former collogue Phillip Schofield – Eamonn has once again let rip when chatting about his time working on the channel.

The broadcaster, 62, has claimed he wasn’t ‘treated with respect’ at ITV towards the end of his time with the station.

Eamonn co-hosted the Friday instalment of This Morning for 15 years with his wife Ruth Langsford, 61, before they were replaced on the ITV show by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary last year.

The Irish presenter now presents the breakfast show at GB News with co-host Isabel Webster, but has been very vocal about why he bid farewell to ITV in favour of a new, controversial channel.

“I made the jump to GB News because options dried up,” Eamonn told The Guardian over the weekend.

“The ‘wrong age’, at the ‘wrong stage’ – at some point it becomes very hard to get work.”

He added: “It was obvious that I didn’t tick the boxes for ITV any more, and I wasn’t being treated with respect there.

“It was a self-esteem thing. You think: ‘Nah, I’m out of here! Bye!’ So that was it. And nothing’s changed: I play what I do straight. I’m not flying the flag for any political agenda.”

The veteran presenter then went on to state it was “nice to be appreciated” at his new place of work, GB News.

The Mirror has contacted representatives for ITV for comment.

This isn’t the first time Eamonn has lashed out at his former employers.

Last month, the dad-of-four claimed ITV made it appear that he wanted to walk away from the channel, when he had in fact been dropped.

“They’re sly. They didn’t want to announce that I’d been dropped because it would adversely affect audience figures, so they made it look as if I’d walked away from them rather than the other way round,” the journalist revealed to Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine.

Loose Women hit with over 200 Ofcom complaints for fiery Ukraine refugee ‘racism’ row

Loose Women has been hit with 211 Ofcom complaints as viewers slammed Janet Street Porter for her comments about racism at the Ukrainian border in a heated debate with fellow panellist Charlene White

Loose Women has been hit with over 200 Ofcom complaints as the stars clashed about racism at the Ukrainian border.

Janet Street Porter and Charlene White got in a heated debate about the racism experienced by some refugees as they tried to flee Ukraine in the wake of the horrifying events happening there.

Charlene was left frustrated with Janet, with viewers convinced Janet was trying to ‘play down’ the racism some had experienced at the borders and took to Ofcom to complain over her comments.

Ofcom received 211 complaints for the segment, which aired at lunchtime on ITV on March 1

180 complaints were made in relation to comments made as the pair discussed minority ethic refugees fleeing Ukraine, whilst 33 complaints related to a discussion about racism and the crisis in Ukraine.

During the original chat, Charlene addressed the problem faced by some refugees.

Discussing what was happening in Ukraine, Charlene explained: “But there is one thing that has really shone a light on where I’m concerned, that has really stuck out to me, is that in the midst of all of this, the midst of people trying to flee from their homes, the midst of them trying to dodge bullets and bombs, they still have time for racism.

“Because you’ve got thousands of Black, Asian, Syrian, Arab students and workers who have also been trying to get out of Ukraine and have been prevented from doing so due to the incessant racism that they have experienced.

Detailing refugees’ struggles, she added: “There are posters up saying no black … It really does shine a light on the fact that it doesn’t matter how devastated someone is, how scared somebody is, it seems like there’s always time for one of the worst traits of society.”

However, Janet interrupted what she was saying to praise Poland for accepting 150,000 refugees.

“I hear what you saying, and I completely understand it and on the news last night, they did show some of the students talking about how bad they were treated and the effort it had taken for them to actually get on the train and get across the border,” she added.

“But I also think Poland, for example, has exceeded all expectations in accepting 150,000 refugees.”

Charlene couldn’t believe what Janet said as she put her head in her hands.

“Oh my goodness! I understand that – but if you have thousands of refugees, you can’t stand there and say oh you 50 people come in, you four people with darker skin sorry,” she remarked as she fumed over the struggles some were facing at the border.

Loose Women’s Linda Robson calls Carol McGiffin a ‘miserable cow’ in heated debate

Chaos broke out on the Loose Women panel earlier this week when Linda Robson called co-star Carole McGiffin a ‘miserable cow’ after she shared her distaste for chatting with supermarket staff

Loose Women star Linda Robson has dubbed her co-star Carol McGiffin a ‘miserable cow’.

The 63-year-old ITV star took aim at Carol, 62, during a rather heated debate on the panel earlier this week.

Carol was sharing her about her grocery shopping pet peeves on the show when Linda interrupted to call her out on being ‘miserable’.

As the Loose ladies discussed what they like and dislike about heading to the supermarket, Carol admitted that she hates nothing more than when people at the checkout try to engage in small talk with her.

The unimpressed Loose Women panellist admitted that she despised the scenario so much that she often wished there was a separate lane for people who want to talk – and another lane for people who simply want to ‘get in and out’.

Not having any of it, Carol’s co-star piped up and labelled her a ‘miserable cow’ for not wanting to engage in small talk with the hard workers in the supermarket.

“Well, aren’t you a miserable cow,” Linda clapped back.

Carol’s admission sparked quite the debate on Twitter too as several fans flocked to agree with the TV star.

“I’m sorry, but I couldn’t agree more with Carol. I cannot stand it when people try to talk to me. Always keep my earphones in,” one Loose Women viewer tweeted.

“Carol is not a miserable cow lol. She’s absolutely right,” another echoed.

“When you’re in a bad mood and all you want is to go and buy some milk but there are no self-checkouts – don’t speak to me haha,” someone else quipped.

However, other viewers couldn’t help but agree with Linda.

“Get in the miserable lane Carol, and stay there,” one fan fumed.

“Linda is right. She is being a miserable cow,” someone else insisted.

ITV)Carol also sparked chaos later in the show on Monday when she made another savage remark when she, Linda, Ruth Langsford and Coleen Nolan were discussing whether you should go to your ex-partner’s funeral. After sharing their thoughts on the matter, Carol insisted that she wouldn’t ‘bother’ going to an ex-partner’s funeral.

“I don’t think I would really have an ex I would be that bothered about,” she admitted.
