King Charles looked in good form as he enjoyed the Braemar Games today, the second since he ascended the throne.

The monarch, 75, appeared to be in high spirits as he donned a traditional kilt and sporran to watch the event that was rarely missed by the late Queen.

The King represented the Royal Family alongside his wife Queen Camilla – who returned to Scotland specially for the event following a busy work schedule in England this week.

The Braemar Gathering is one of the most famous of the Highland Games.

The event was a particular favourite of the late monarch who rarely missed the spectacle which takes place in September each year near Balmoral Castle, Aberdeenshire.

Her Majesty returned to work this week as she threw herself into a number of royal engagements while the King remained in Scotland.

On Tuesday, Camilla visited Bath to open a new cancer centre. The Queen then headed to Wiltshire to open the new headquarters of Stonegate Farmers, a new state-of-the-art facility where free-range and organic eggs are packed.

The Queen returned to royal duties on Thursday when she made her first visit to the English National Ballet since becoming patron earlier this year.

Later that day, Camilla stepped out of her royal shoes and into her parenting pumps as she headed to the launch of her son Tom Parker-Bowles’ new book.

The Queen attended her final engagement of the week on Friday when she paid a visit to RAF Leeming to meet service personnel and their families to learn about the welfare support they are offered.

The King and Queen are expected to mark the second anniversary of the late Queen’s death tomorrow in quiet reflection and prayer at Crathie Kirk on the Balmoral estate.

Queen Elizabeth II allegedly referred to Meghan Markle as “evil” during a Balmoral drinks reception weeks before her death in 2022.

A source close to the Royal Family has controversially claimed that the late Queen “saw through” Meghan, who officially joined the Royal Family in 2018.

The alleged comments came in a time that saw tensions rise between Meghan and Harry and the Firm, especially after the couple insinuated that someone in the family had subjected her to racism.

Speaking to the Spectator, the source claimed that “everybody’s eyebrows hit the ceiling” when the late Queen allegedly made the remark about Meghan.

The source added: “It was out of character for the Queen to use such a word as ‘evil’ to describe Meghan, but she saw straight through her. It was a startling sentence to hear from the most forgiving woman on earth.”

The source added: “At the drinks before the dinner, a small group were talking to the monarch and she explained that Harry meeting Meghan had become a complete catastrophe and described her as evil.

“By this point, we all knew the Queen’s health was in decline and she had months left, she seemed regretful about how things had panned out.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had stepped back from royal life and moved to the US in 2020. The pair had planned to pursue a number of media ventures and charity projects in an event dubbed Megxit.

After the Sandringham summit in 2020, where senior members of the Royal Family sat down to discuss Harry and Meghan Markle’s future, the late Queen made a sad statement in which she said that while Harry and Meghan Markle were no longer going to be working members of the family, they were still “valued members” of her personal family.

She wrote at the time: “Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family. My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family.

“Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family. Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives.

“It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK. These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.”

The Duke of Sussex has been living in California for years with his wife Meghan Markle and their two young children.

Prince Harry is reportedly living a happy life in California with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, however locals say he rarely seems to leave the house.

According to the Daily Mail, insiders have said the Duke of Sussex lives an extremely quiet life, spending most of his time in his Montecito mansion.

Apart from the rare night out at nearby restaurants Lucky’s or Tre Lune with the Duchess of Sussex, and the daily school run with Archie, Harry is very rarely seen in the neighbourhood.

Insiders told The Daily Telegraph that the only time the prince is really seen is either when he is walking his Labrador alone on the beach or cycling by himself with security following him in a Range Rover.

He is believed to spend the rest of his time at home working with his wife, meditating and working out with his own personal trainer.

This is the opposite of Meghan, who is often seen going out for lunch with friends or browsing in the local markets.

One neighbour told The Telegraph: “They keep themselves to themselves. I haven’t seen Harry around much. Normally when you see him around here, he’s walking his Labrador on the beach or on his bicycle followed by his security in a Range Rover.”

Journalist Richard Mineards told the Telegraph that although he lives close to the couple, they are rarely seen outside the gates of their lavish home.

He said: ”The community is waiting for them – they’re gnashing at the bit. The cachet of a Duke and Duchess.

“It’s a very wealthy community, we have a lot of people giving a lot of money to our cultural organisations as well as charities, but we don’t see them.

“We have got a lot of very rich and very famous people here, and none of them have a security retinue like the Sussexes.”

Although Harry is said to be happy in California, rumours have been rife on whether the duke will return to the UK and back to royal life.

However, with tensions still running high with his brother Prince William, multiple sources have said it is highly unlikely the prince will return to the UK to live, and instead is likely to just pass through for fleeting visits.

This comes after Prince Harry himself said it was not safe to bring his wife and children back to the country, which he left in 2020 to live overseas.

Since 2022, Meghan Markle has not stepped foot in the UK, with Prince Harry only visiting by himself for engagements, to see his father, and most recently to attend a funeral.

In a highly anticipated interview on CBS Sunday Morning, Meghan Markle found herself in the hot seat as veteran journalist Jane Pauley pressed her for proof of her children’s existence. The Duchess of Sussex, who has fiercely guarded her family’s privacy, appeared visibly shocked and uncomfortable as Pauley demanded tangible evidence that Archie and Lilibet, Meghan’s two children with Prince Harry, are real.

The interview, which was billed as a candid discussion about the Sussexes’ philanthropic work through their Archewell Foundation, took an unexpected turn when Pauley challenged Meghan on the lack of public appearances by the couple’s children. “You and Prince Harry have been very vocal about the need to protect your children from the glare of the media,” Pauley said. “Yet, we’ve seen precious little of Archie and Lilibet. Can you understand why some people might be skeptical and wonder if they even exist?”

Meghan, who had previously spoken about the intense scrutiny and online harassment her family has faced, seemed caught off guard by the line of questioning. “My children are very much real,” she responded, her voice wavering slightly. “Archie and Lilibet are the center of our world, and we’ve made the conscious decision to keep them out of the public eye to give them a normal childhood

YOU’RE BLACKLISTED! Meghan In Tears As Netflix CEO Cancels Her UpcomX Cooking Show From The Platform.

Meghan Markle’s foray into the culinary world, once a source of much speculation and gossip, has turned into a public relations disaster. Her highly anticipated cooking show, slated for Netflix, has been unceremoniously cancelled before a single episode was filmed, leaving behind a trail of embarrassment and whispers of arrogance.

BREAKING! Meghan Markle Launching INSANE New Netflix Series PROVING She is CRAZY! - YouTube

The show’s demise can be attributed to a perfect storm of factors. Meghan’s reputation for being demanding and difficult has preceded her, making it difficult to secure high-profile collaborators. Even Martha Stewart, a culinary icon and self-made billionaire, declined an offer to appear on the show, citing Meghan’s “difficult” reputation.

Stewart’s decision is particularly telling, as she has built a successful lifestyle brand and is known for her collaborations with various personalities. Her refusal to participate highlights the lack of credibility surrounding Meghan’s project. Further fueling skepticism surrounding the show is the lackluster reception of Meghan and Harry’s previous documentary, which bombed in the ratings. Netflix, clearly wary of investing further in a project that seemed destined to fail, reportedly pulled the plug on the cooking show

The cancellation of the show is a stark reminder of the challenges faced by celebrities attempting to launch their own projects. Meghan’s efforts to court celebrity chefs and secure a successful show were marred by a lack of pulling power and a constant stream of rejections. The project ultimately became a case study in how not to launch a celebrity project, highlighting the importance of careful planning, a genuine passion for the project, and a genuine ability to collaborate effectively.

    MEGHAN WAILS - WHY CAN'T I BE HAPPY” LATEST NEWS #royal #meghanandharry #meghanmarkle - YouTube

The show’s cancellation also underscores the importance of building a strong foundation of credibility and trust before embarking on a major project. Meghan’s reputation for being demanding and difficult, coupled with the lackluster reception of her previous projects, made it difficult for her to gain the support she needed to make the cooking show a success.

The show’s cancellation has also sparked a debate about the role of celebrity in the culinary world. Some argue that celebrity chefs can bring a unique perspective and a wider audience to the culinary world. Others argue that celebrity chefs can often overshadow the talent and hard work of professional chefs, and that their projects can be more about self-promotion than genuine culinary passion.

The cancellation of Meghan’s cooking show is a reminder that success in the entertainment industry requires more than just celebrity status. It requires talent, hard work, and a genuine connection with the audience. It also requires a strong foundation of credibility and trust, which Meghan has yet to fully establish. As Meghan continues to struggle with her image and public perception, her culinary aspirations are just another misstep in a series of failed ventures.

The cancellation of her cooking show serves as a stark reminder that success in the entertainment industry requires more than just celebrity status. It requires talent, hard work, and a genuine connection with the audience. The show’s cancellation has also fueled speculation about Meghan’s future endeavors. Some believe that she will continue to pursue her culinary ambitions, while others believe that she will focus on other projects. Only time will tell what the future holds for Meghan Markle, but one thing is certain: her culinary ambitions have been dealt a major blow.

The Royal Foundation was founded jointly by the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex back in 2009
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have suffered a fresh blow as Princess Kate and Prince William raised an eye-watering sum from US donors, according to accounts published this week by the Charity Commission.

The Royal Foundation, founded jointly by William and Prince Harry back in 2009 but headed by William and Kate alone since 2019, saw its income hit £8million.

This comes after the Prince of Wales, 42, raised a whopping £22.5million in 2023 by The Earthshot Prize.

These new figures form part of the foundation’s first annual report since it ceased to administer The Earthshot Prize, which became a separate charity in 2022

A staggering £6.5million of William and Kate’s foundation’s income came from donations alone, including £1.7million from US-based supporters.

As a result, the Prince and Princess of Wales have eclipsed the donations made to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell Foundation, which the Montecito-based couple founded in 2020 after stepping down as working royals.

Harry and Meghan have lived in California for the past four years.

    prince-harry-and-meghan-markle

However, donations to their foundation recently plunged from £10.3million to less than £1.6million.

This is according to Archewell’s most recently published accounts.

Harry, 39, and Meghan, 43, left the Royal Foundation in 2019, which coincided with their move to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

The Sussexes formerly lived on the grounds of Kensington Palace, which made them neighbours with William and Kate.

Despite leaving the Royal Foundation five years ago, the Duke of Sussex still receives some financial benefits.

This is due to his half share in the income the foundation receives from the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.

That share amounted to £7,073 last year and was sent by the Foundation to Sentebale, Harry’s charity for African orphans.

Sentebale is a registered charity founded in 2006 by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.

The charity helps children and adolescents struggling to come to terms with their HIV and AIDS diagnosis.

Prince William has fired Queen Camilla’s interior designer sister Annabel Elliot after taking over the Duke of Cornwall title from his father, King Charles.

The Prince of Wales, 42, received a shiny new title and inherited the Duchy of Cornwall estate worth over $1 billion when his father assumed the throne in September 2022.

In one of his first acts as the owner of the plush estate, the prince removed Elliot, 75, from the payroll, the Telegraph reports.

Camilla’s younger sister has received a steady — and comfortable — income over the last two decades for her interior design services to the royals.

She was first hired by Charles, then the Prince of Wales, as chief designer of his estates after tying the knot with Camilla in 2005.

Since then, Elliot has raked in hundreds of thousands of dollars for her work, which included the design on the Duchy holiday cottage, as well as updating the decor at the Firm’s Cornwall, Wales and Isles of Scilly properties.

Earlier this week, palace sources confirmed to the outlet that William has decided to terminate Elliot’s employment — but stressed that this was no indication of any bad blood or dissatisfaction with her services.

The Integrated Annual Report, published Wednesday, details how Elliot had been paid “in the normal course of business and on an arm’s length basis” varying amounts ranging between $25,000 and $105,000 to maintain the royal family’s rental properties, as well as the Duchy offices.

Each year, Elliot was reimbursed between $9,000 and $116,000 for purchasing furniture, decor and retail stock, the report shows.

She was also hired to oversee the refurbishment of a 20-bedroom pub at the King’s Poundbury development in Dorset, south England, as well as a lodge for guests at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland.

However, despite her extensive work with the royals, Wednesday’s official report reveals that for the first time in nearly 20 years, Elliot was not paid for her services between 2023 and 2024.

Instead, the report repeats a line from the previous year, which includes six months of Charles’ spending before he became monarch.

Prince William’s eye-popping annual salary was also revealed in the report, showing that the heir to the throne received $30 million from the estate during the 2023-24 financial year.

But despite his impressive income, William has refused to reveal what he paid in taxes — breaking his father King Charles’ tradition, which spanned more than 30 years.

Meghan Markle heading for trouble as her big career claim is called into doubt

Meghan Markle has come under fire again after she used one of her infamous activism claims in one of her speeches in Colombia.

Meghan Markle’s claim about complaining to Procter & Gamble (P&G) about their “sexist” dishwashing detergent advert which resulted in the manufacturing giant changing it has come into doubt again.

The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry embarked on a four-day quasi-royal tour of Colombia last week and had one journalist – Harper’s Bazaar’s Digital Culture editor Bianca Betancourt – in charge of the news bulletins sent to global media.

On the last day of their tour, the couple attended a panel titled ‘Afro-Descendant Women and Power: Voice of Equity’, where Meghan mentioned her infamous “washing up” story. However, it was omitted from the official bulletin sent to media around the world regarding their appearance.

The Duchess has mentioned several times how she sent a letter to P&G at the age of 11 after she was offended by their dishwashing detergent advert because it focused on women doing housework by stating “Women all over America are fighting greasy pots and pans.”

But according to Meghan, after her complaint, the company changed the ad’s wording from “women” to “people”.

Her claim has long been questioned as it is still unclear whether her actions contributed to the change. However, Ms Betancourt’s omission of her claim from her bulletin raised even more questions regarding the story.

The Digital Culture editor’s account of Meghan’s speech during the panel stated: “I’m very very fortunate at a young age I was able to feel as though my voice was being heard and that’s a luxury that a lot of young girls and women aren’t often afforded.“For us and the work we do with Archewell and the work we do as parents…”

Meanwhile, the Dail Mail sent their own senior reporter for global news, Nick Pisa, to Colombia to cover the tour, and he published a slightly different account of Meghan’s speech.

Mr Pisa’s account stated: “I was very, very fortunate at a young age to feel as though my voice was being heard. And I think that is a luxury that a lot of young girls and women aren’t often afforded.

“I was 11 years old, and you may know this story, I had seen a commercial that I felt was sexist, and I wrote a letter, several letters, about it, and the commercial was changed.

“When you’re 11 years old, and you realise very quickly that your small voice can have a very large impact. I think it creates the framework to feel empowered to use your voice, because you know you’re being listened to. It doesn’t ever feel good to use your voice and no one hears you. That’s not ideal.

Prince Harry and Meghan MarklePrince Harry and Meghan Markle spent four days in Colombia (Image: Getty)“So for us and the work that we do with our Archewell Foundation…”

According to the Daily Beast, Ms Betancourt claimed that she did not include Meghan’s letter story to be in line with her-outlets “style”. She said: “My story was written with the Bazaar reader in mind and I was simply highlighting new information that they’d be the most interested by.

“We don’t and never have included every single statement said at any type of event we cover.”

Meghan’s story has been disputed by several of her critics, as well as her own father because they were unable to verify its accuracy.

Author Tom Bower alleged in his book Revenge: ‘Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors’ that Vanity Fair initially included this story in a profile of Meghan but removed it after fact-checkers were unable to verify its accuracy.

Meanwhile her father, Thomas Markle has previously said that his daughter’s story may have been a “little embellished”.

In 2020, in the documentary Thomas Markle: My Story, he said: “I think Meghan was part of a letter-writing campaign of sorts. The story about her single-handedly changing the ad may have been a little embellished.”

A year later in March, he told Good Morning Britain: “It was all part of a social studies class in school, and they were all writing letters.”

Breaking News: After DNA results Prince Harry makes big decision about Lilibet, Archie amid royal rift

Prince Harry has won against his wife Meghan Markle as the duke has made a big decision about his children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet amid their ongoing rift with royal family.

According to reports, Prince Harry has won in the decision not to include Archie and Lilibet in their upcoming Netflix shows as the couple is currently working on two new series for the streaming giant.

The one Netflix series will “celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship” and the second one will be shot at the US Open Polo Championship.

According to the Daily Express UK, Prince Harry has won against Meghan as he wants to keep their kids away from the public eye, while Meghan is more keen on showing them to the world.

The insider claimed Meghan and Harry “have not always agreed on how much they should expose their children to the media but, in this case, Harry has clearly won.”

King Charles California-based grandchildren have rarely been seen in public except on a handful of very special occasions.

The publication, citing a friend close to Meghan and Harry, has reported that safety concerns are actually at the root of the royal couple’s decision to shield Archie and Lilibet from the public.
