Prince Harry makes emotional admission about Princess Diana at major event without Meghan

Prince Harry has continued his high-profile trip to New York City without Meghan Markle today and has appeared at a summit to talk about the Diana Award – named after his late mother Princess Diana

Prince Harry has talked candidly about his late mother Princess Diana during a run of high profile appearances in New York without Meghan Markle

The Duke of Sussex appeared at the Concordia Summit in New York, where he talked about the Diana Award, named in memory of his late mother Princess Diana, along with its CEO Dr Tessy Ojo. The charity, the only one set up Diana’s name, was set up 25 years ago to honour young people who want to change the world.
In conversation with Dr Ojo, Harry was also joined by two former Diana Award winners Christina Williams and Chiara Riyanti Hutapea Zhang, where they talked about the mental health crisis engulfing young people. Harry took to the stage for a Diana Award event as part of the Concordia Annual Summit. The duke smiled as walked to his seat while holding a microphone.

Dr Ojo said: “The Diana award is a living legacy to Diana, Princess of Wales, and usually when I talk about this, I have to try and tell you what who we are, and maybe tell you who Princess Diana is. But today I don’t have to do that, because I’m thrilled to be joined today by her son, Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex.”

She added: “I’m very grateful to have the Duke of Sussex with us. He is a passionate advocate for mental health. He actually said to me as we came in that actually we should no longer talk about mental health but we should talk about mental fitness. His dedication to this cause strengthens our mission.”

Harry, who was wearing a gold, square Diana Award badge on the lapel of his dark suit, asked the two Diana Legacy Award winners taking part what “worries you the most about the world today?” and “what are the biggest barriers to young people reaching their full potential?” During the question and answer session, he also asked quizzed them on how poor mental health had impacted them and their peers.

Christina, 27, from Jamaica told the duke: “Scared children cannot dream, Prince Harry.”Harry said of mental health: “It affects every single one of us, from the top to bottom, from the youngest to the oldest. And I think you guys are you’re leading the charge in hopefully being able to break down the stigma to be able to continue these conversations.”

Talking about his mother, Harry said she would be proud of the award as well as the two winners of the prize, who spoke about the issues facing young people today. The duke added: “I know that my mum would be incredibly proud of you guys, not just you, but all of the winners, and, Tessy – you’ve been in this for a very long time so thank you for that as well. But the way that you do it, your activism, your compassion, those two things are so true to how my mom led her life and what she believed in. And the way that you do it is incredible. So thank you.”

The Duke of Sussex also called on governments to bring young people into decision making policy. “Surely one of the solutions here is for governments to implement, or at least find people young people like yourselves, and bring them into decision making, policy-making situations before the problems exist,” Harry said.

He added: “That is where the difference is going to be made. And why is that not happening?” Harry repeatedly adjusted his suit and tie and shifted in his chair as he sat on the stage.

Meanwhile, when asked what gives him hope for the future he said: “I have said it before years ago and I’ll say it again. The younger generation is what gives me hope. The courage you have gives me hope. Everyone of us needs courage to move the dial in this world, probably more than ever. We need to listen and act on what you say because it is your future that will be stolen and that is unacceptable.”

Harry is on a solo trip to the Big Apple, where he is due to speak at several high-profile events that coincide with the United Nations General Assembly this week. On arriving in the city, he last night joined a dinner hosted by the World Health Organisation.

There Harry was seen rubbing shoulders with the likes of Queen Mathilde of Belgium and the Hollywood actor Forest Whittaker at the event to honour survivors of childhood violence. The dinner comes just hours after Harry was forced to make a solo appearance at a charity event on Friday, with Meghan noticeably absent.

Harry appeared alone at the charity event organised by Kevin Costner honouring first responders and presented an award to a fellow helicopter pilot. Harry attended the event last year, with many hoping his wife Meghan would join him for the 2024 event – the same as the previous year. However, a source at the event mysteriously said: “We were all hoping Meghan would attend like she did last year but the word is that she is sick and could not make it.”

During Harry’s stay in New York this week, he is set to appear at several major events. Harry is championing causes close to his heart and those associated with Diana, Princess of Wales . Later today he will make an appearance for the Halo Trust, the landmine clearance charity supported by Diana, and then a private engagement with conservation group African Parks.

Tomorrow, he will appear at the 2024 Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting. The Foundation was founded by former US president Bill Clinton and supported by his wife former US Secretary of state Hilary Clinton and their daughter Chelsea, with the theme of this year’s gathering of political, business and philanthropic leaders called “What’s Working”.

During his appearance at the meeting, Harry plans to discuss the launch of The Archewell Foundation Parents’ Network, an initiative supporting parents whose children have suffered or died due to online harm. He will also address his nonprofit’s collaboration with the World Health Organization and others to end violence against children, an issue he and his wife Meghan outlined on their recent trip to Colombia.

However, one person Harry won’t be seeing in New York is his older brother, Prince William. Harry’s trip will also overlap with the 2024 Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit, scheduled for Tuesday.

The Earthshot Prize is one of William’s key areas of work, and last year he was in New York for the 2023 summit. It led to speculation that the feuding brothers could awkwardly be in New York at the same time next month. But it has since emerged William is not travelling to the Big Apple later this month and had never planned to.

William did attend the summit in 2023 but his appearance at it in 2022 had to be cancelled as it came during a period of royal mourning after the death and funeral of the late Queen – although he did send a video message.

PUT THINGS BACK IN THEIR RIGHT PLACE! William vows to strip Sυssex of title for defamatioп – They barely eveп visit

In a dramatic turn of events that has captivated royal enthusiasts and the general public, reports have emerged revealing a serious rift between Prince William and his younger brother, Prince Harry.

This escalating family conflict is set against a backdrop of ongoing disputes and public remarks that have increasingly alienated Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, from the rest of the royal family.

Let’s delve into this unfolding saga.

Sources close to the royal household have disclosed that Prince William is deeply troubled by Harry’s recent behavior and public comments.

A private message, which was subsequently leaked, allegedly contains a stern warning from William to Harry about the potential consequences of his actions.

The elder prince reportedly emphasized that if Harry and Meghan continue on their current trajectory, they could face severe repercussions, including a complete withdrawal of support from the royal family.

The tension has escalated further with William hinting at possible legal action against the Sussexes.

He reportedly cited the royal family’s access to top-tier legal resources, suggesting that they might pursue a defamation lawsuit in response to what they perceive as false claims made by Harry and Meghan.

This marks an unusual and significant development within the British royal family, underscoring the depth of the rift between the brothers.

In addition to legal threats, there’s also the looming possibility of financial repercussions.

William’s message included a stark warning that the royal family is prepared to cut off all financial assistance to Harry and Meghan.

Such a move would represent a new low in their already strained relationship, highlighting the royal family’s determination to distance themselves from the Sussexes’ increasingly vocal criticisms of royal life.

As tensions mount, it is rumored that Prince William intends to hold a crucial meeting with King Charles and senior members of Parliament in November.

This gathering is expected to focus on the serious consideration of stripping Harry and Meghan of their royal titles.

Should this occur, it would formalize their separation from royal duties and privileges, marking a significant shift in their connection to the royal family.

On the flip side, insiders close to Prince Harry have indicated that he is feeling both outraged and humiliated by his brother’s accusations and threats.

Having previously opened up about his struggles with mental health and the pressures associated with royal expectations, Harry perceives these actions as further attempts to marginalize him and his family from the royal establishment.

As the royal family teeters on the edge of what appears to be an irreparable split, public and media scrutiny intensifies with each new development.

The situation not only underscores the complexities of personal relationships within one of the world’s most recognized families but also raises important questions about the monarchy’s role and relevance in contemporary society.

Will this familial rift ever mend, or are we witnessing the beginnings of a deeper divide?

As the anticipated November meeting looms, the stakes have never been higher for the royal family.

The outcome could redefine the future of the Sussexes and their standing within the monarchy.

Rumors have been circulating for some time that all may not be well behind Palace walls, and now, a bombshell development has emerged, offering startling new insight into Meghan’s true intentions.  Meghan and Harry married in 2018 in a lavish ceremony watched by millions worldwide. It seemed like a fairy-tale romance and the start of a bright new chapter for the monarchy. However, just two years later, they dramatically announced their decision to step back from royal duties and move part-time to North America. This move shocked the Queen and senior royals, creating deep divisions within the family, most notably between Harry and his brother William.

Prince Harry Shocked by Meghan Markle’s Secret Divorce Plan as Diana’s Inheritance Hits Account

Since then, there have been constant whispers suggesting that Meghan was the driving force behind this decision and that she never truly wanted a life of royal service and duty. Many have speculated that Meghan was more interested in fame and fortune. Now, new information has come to light that elevates these rumors to an entirely new level.

As you may know, when Princess Diana tragically passed away in 1997, she left her substantial fortune, estimated at tens of millions, to be divided between Prince William and Prince Harry upon their 30th birthdays. This is where things take a more intriguing turn. Sources with direct knowledge of Diana’s estate have exclusively revealed that a significant portion of Harry’s inheritance was quietly transferred into a private bank account solely controlled by Meghan just a month before their royal wedding in 2018. At the time, this was seen as prudent financial planning for the couple as they began their married life. However, the timing and secrecy of this transaction have raised serious new questions.

Mẹ cô dâu Meghan Markle nghẹn ngào khóc một mình trong đám cưới Hoàng gia

I’m told that the amount deposited equated to nearly 40% of Harry’s expected inheritance from his mother. Why such a disproportionately large sum? And why was it handled discreetly without William’s knowledge or the Palace’s involvement, as is normally required for royal financial matters?

It gets even more troubling. My sources now say that in the weeks before Meghan and Harry’s explosive announcement last year about quitting their senior royal roles, the contents of that secret bank account were completely liquidated and quietly wired to accounts only accessible by Meghan in America. The money, totaling tens of millions, was then used to purchase an opulent mansion in California, registered solely in Meghan’s name.

This revelation adds staggering new context to long-held suspicions that Meghan’s intentions all along were to divorce Harry, secure a massive financial payout from his royal ties and inheritance, and set herself up as an independently wealthy celebrity in America, free from royal obligations. It appears she may have even made secret plans involving Diana’s money to achieve this goal behind closed doors.

Mẹ của Công nương Meghan: Con luôn là đóa hoa rạng ngời trong trái tim mẹ - Báo Phụ Nữ

If these allegations are proven accurate, it would represent an incredible betrayal of the royal family’s trust and of Harry’s, who has shown nothing but loyalty and devotion to his wife since their wedding. It seems Meghan may have used Harry for fame, social climbing, and access to royal wealth to further her own ambitious agenda. Did she even truly love him?

Of course, none of this has been officially confirmed at this stage, and Meghan’s lawyers will undoubtedly deny any wrongdoing. However, the facts regarding the mysterious bank accounts and the tens of millions that ended up directly in Meghan’s hands raise too many questions to be easily dismissed. An official police investigation may now be warranted to get to the bottom of it.

Whatever he truth my be, it now seems almost certain that their controversial exit from royal life and their subsequent behavior were part of Meghan’s deep-seated scheme all along, using Harry’s own mother’s money to make it happen. If so, it would rank as one of the most shocking royal betrayals of all time and perhaps one of the greatest deceptions ever orchestrated so brazenly in public view.

In summary, this developing story represents a pivotal turning point in Meghan and Harry’s saga and offers a stark new perspective on all that has transpired since their wedding.

Meghan Markle ‘REVEALS PODCAST’ that: ‘Struggling to support Archie and Lilibet’

In the midst of financial woes, Meghan Markle struggles to raise Archie and Lilibet

Meghan Markle, known as the Duchess of Sussex, is currently facing a multitude of challenges in raising her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

These difficulties stem from financial troubles, exacerbated by her recent lack of Hollywood projects following the loss of a lucrative $20 million Spotify deal earlier this year, alongside Netflix canceling her animated series, Pearl.

The Duchess’s financial strains are taking a toll on her well-being, as reported by In Touch Weekly. The ongoing financial strain has left Meghan feeling overwhelmed, struggling to maintain her family’s accustomed lavish lifestyle while also tending to the needs of her children.

Concerns about Meghan’s health have been raised, with a nutrition expert noting her alarming weight loss, indicating potential neglect of self-care amidst mounting stress. An insider has echoed these concerns, suggesting that Meghan is “cracking under the pressure” of relentless public scrutiny and financial worries.

The Duchess’s predicament is exacerbated by the constant need to navigate financial challenges, with bills accumulating and the pressure to sustain the lifestyle expected of her and Prince Harry.

Balancing her time between her children and managing these financial burdens has become increasingly challenging, leaving Meghan feeling overwhelmed and stretched thin.

Psychotherapist Stacey Kaiser has observed the significant weight loss experienced by Meghan, interpreting it as a manifestation of underlying stress, depression, and exhaustion.

These factors collectively paint a picture of Meghan Markle grappling with the complexities of parenthood amidst financial turmoil, navigating a delicate balance between her family’s well-being and the relentless demands of public life.

Prince Harry is reportedly planning to ‘rehabilitate’ himself before returning to the royal family: ‘I will fit into the position I want to be in’

Prince Harry is reportedly planning to “rehabilitate” himself to potentially, eventually, make a return into the Firm.

Haz is “dissatisfied with advice from American-based image experts” and is planning a return to the Firm, it has been claimed.

Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle, 43, announced their departure as senior working royals in 2020 and have been living in the US ever since.

Experts have now claimed the Duke of Sussex is eager to make a return to his “old life”, even making connections with his former UK aides to help formulate a return.

Speaking of a media headline about a potential return, royal expert Kinsey Schofield told GB News: “Victimhood has been very lucrative for Harry and reading that headline, instinctively you feel sympathy for him and is he positioning the Royal Family as the bad guys again [and] is this another ploy when it comes to Harry and Meghan.”

Discussing why she believes he is potentially planning a return, she added: “He’s doing it because Americans did not welcome them in the way that they initially thought they would.

“I think they’ve made a lot of missteps over the last few years and they’re not having the life that they thought they were going to.

“I don’t think the ‘American Dream’ has come to fruition for them the way that they thought it would and Prince Harry [now] realises that he was a valuable asset as a member of the Royal Family and that really gave him purpose.”

“I am thrilled to confirm that I am not pregnant. This news allows me to continue my work with renewed vigor and dedication,” Meghan stated. “I look forward to focusing on my royal duties and furthering the causes I am passionate about.”

The announcement comes at a time when Meghan and Prince Harry have been increasingly active in their charitable efforts and public engagements.

Meghan’s ability to fully engage in these activities is seen as a positive step for both her personal growth and the impact she can have through her work.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are urging people to register to vote in the upcoming US election, sparking criticism from a royal commentator who says “they should not be getting involved with anything to do with the American presidential election”.

The 2024 United States elections will be held on November 5, 2024, With Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump battling for the White House.

Talk TV’s royal commentator, Rupert Bell, told the platform: “They are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the last I looked there aren’t any royal titles in America.”

He added: “For Meghan, she probably wants to see herself as a political advocate, but as the Duchess of Sussex she can’t expect to have status in the American political system, that’s not the way they operate.”

Via Harry and Meghan’s charity, the Archewell Foundation, the couple released a statement on national voter registration day. It read: “At the Archewell Foundation, we recognise that civic engagement, no matter one’s political party, is at the heart of a more just and equitable world.”

  • Princess Kate issued health warning as she eyes up three major events within weeks

Princess Kate issued health warning as she eyes up three major events within weeks

Princess Kate has been urged to “pace herself” and ensure she plans a gradual return to royal duties for the sake of her health, the country and her family.

It comes after she undertook her first official meeting of the year on Tuesday, which has been widely welcomed as a good sign in the course of her cancer recovery.

The meeting at Windsor Castle came just eight days after she revealed she had completed her chemotherapy.

In an emotional video message, the Princess spoke of her relief that her “incredibly tough” treatment had come to an end and thanked the public for their “kindness, empathy and compassion” as the family faced dark times.

While Kate, 42, cautioned that the road to recovery would not be easy, she said she hopes to undertake “a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can”.

However, Dickie Arbiter, who served as the late Queen’s press spokesman from 1998 until 2000, said she shouldn’t be pushing herself to return to work too soon.

“It will be a slow adjustment to getting back on duty and we mustn’t expect anything mammoth overnight,” he said.

“The fact that she had a meeting earlier this week is a good sign, a good sign that she is engaging with other people other than just her family.”

But Mr Arbiter said that she mustn’t feel rushed into a more fulsome schedule.

He said: “We shouldn’t be pushing her and she certainly shouldn’t be pushing herself to keep people happy that she is coming back, she will do it gradually and in her time … She’s not out of the woods yet and we must allow her to pace herself.”

The former communications secretary added that any decisions about future engagements will be made on the advice of her medical team, adding: “It’s not just about her, it’s not just about the monarchy and the United Kingdom it is about her family as well.”

Veteran royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams agreed and said: “It’s extremely important for the future of the monarchy that she adopts a gradual approach and does what she feels able to do, subject of course to medical advice.

“When dealing with this deadly illness, she must do what she intends to do, ‘stay cancer-free’, as the only priority.”

Sources have been keen to stress that the meeting about her early years project this week does not signal a full-time resumption of duties – and that won’t come for some time.

The road ahead still needs to be carefully navigated, as her recovery is expected to extend into the new year even though her treatment has stopped.

“Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes,” the Princess said last week.

Over the coming weeks and months, Kate will work closely with her top team, namely her private secretary Tom White and assistant private secretary Natalie Burrows to meticulously plan her gradual return to public life.

She is set to slowly ease herself back into work and has her sights set on attending some public engagements over the coming months.

Key events in the royal diary are set to be prioritised, including Remembrance Sunday on November 10, at which Kate is keen to support the King and the rest of the Royal Family.

However, sources stressed that a final decision will only be made in the days before the event.

“Her physical and mental recovery will take some time, and although she wants to return to work she is mindful to prioritise her health, for her family’s sake as much as hers,” one said.

Mr Arbiter noted that the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall the night before could also be a possibility.

The Princess is hopeful that she can attend her “Together at Christmas” carol service at Westminster Abbey in December and join the family for the traditional walkabout on Christmas Day.

She has already started working with her team on plans for the Carol Service, which has fast become an important component of her diary since the Princess launched the event in 2021.

A source close to the royal said she is keen to uphold the tradition with her family again this year, alongside other causes, issues and charities “that are closest to her heart”.

The new year is set to follow a similar gradual return to royal duties, with aides mindful not to rush a resumption of a fuller diary.

Some have suggested that the six-month mark – which would suggest March – is a likely timescale of when the public can expect to see Kate attending more day-to-day engagements.

One well-placed source said the couple haven’t ruled out rescheduling their visit to Rome, which was initially planned for spring 2024 but was postponed following the Princess’s cancer diagnosis, to a similar time next year.

But as Kate cautioned in her message last week, “the cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable”, so it is difficult to devise definitive plans during this period of uncertainty.

Prince Harry attended an event in New York last night where he mingled with dignitaries, celebrities and a lesser-known foreign royal, Queen Mathilde of Belgium.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, warmly greeted Queen Mathilde as they both attended a dinner organised by the World Health Organization (WHO) honouring survivors of childhood violence.

His wife Meghan Markle was noticeably absent from the event – after she also skipped Kevin Costner’s charity concert at his beachfront estate on Saturday night that Harry attended solo.

Other well-known faces included actor Forest Whitaker, and several UN Agency Heads – including head of the WHO, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

The dinner came ahead of the UN General Assembly, which kicks off today in Manhattan.

The dinner focused on ‘Violence against children and its impact on Mental Health’, an issue the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been keen to promote in recent years.

Speaking at the event, MC Will Poulter said: “Violence takes many forms – both physical and psychological – and each leaves a lasting impact on those who experience it.

“With one billion children around the world experiencing such violence, the statistics are staggering, but they represent real lives.

“It’s our collective responsibility to ensure that these children are protected.”

  • REMOVED!🛑 Prince Harry devastated after being removed from line of succession – The journey of punishment will begin

REMOVED!🛑 Prince Harry devastated after being removed from line of succession – The journey of punishment will begin

Prince Harry risks being removed from line of succession in royal revenge plot. Prince Harry’s position as fifth in line to the throne could be in jeopardy due to his permanent residence outside the UK and absence of royal duties.

According to a source, discussions at the Royal Family’s summit at Balmoral this summer may not only address Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s titles but could also consider removing them from the line of succession. “The order of succession can be altered by statute if a member of the Royal Family permanently resides outside the UK and no longer undertakes royal duties,” said the source.

“If that were to happen, Harry’s children could also be removed from the line of succession.” Robert Blackburn, a professor of constitutional law at King’s College London, tells Express.co.uk that although living abroad is not a legal disqualification for becoming monarch, Prince Harry can still be removed from the line of succession by an Act of Parliament. “Like Edward VIII, Prince Harry does not wish to perform the role of royalty expected of him and has withdrawn to live abroad. Presumably therefore Prince Harry would be agreeable to abdicate his place in succession if for any reason this became an issue in royal affairs being legislated upon,” said Blackburn.

“Several Acts of Parliament have changed the law on succession or imposed conditions for becoming Monarch, notably the Bill of Rights 1689 and Act of Settlement 1701. More recently Edward VIII voluntarily abdicated and was replaced as King by his brother George VI by Act of Parliament in 1936.” Blackburn adds that for a constitutional measure like this, it is customary for the British Government to take the initiative and introduce the Bill – not the monarch. “Backbench MPs or Peers can technically introduce a Private Members’ Bill on the subject, but it would get nowhere and be blocked by the government from proceeding further than a formal First Reading,” said Blackburn.

“The only possible scenario, as I see it, is for there to be a Government Bill being prepared on another royal issue, such as an amendment to the Regency Act dealing with eligible counsellors of state, and a clause being added at the same time which Prince Harry himself requests that removes him from the line of succession as a mark of him clearly wishing to relinquish all ties to the public work of the Monarchy and Royal Family.” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to step down as senior working royals in January 2020, stating that they planned to “work to become financially independent”.

However, shortly after taking up residency in the United States, the couple embarked on what was described as a “royal bashing session” where they appeared in a chat with Oprah Winfrey, filmed a documentary for Netflix and Harry slated his family in his memoir, Spare. The couple reportedly further angered the Royal Family when they undertook a tour of Colombia recently which saw them visit the South American country to shine a light on cyberbullying and female empowerment. Express.co.uk exclusively revealed last week that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s titles will be up for discussion at Balmoral when the Royal Family meet for their annual summer holiday.

According to a source, one point of discussion at what has been dubbed a “royal family summit” will be the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and how they will fit in with the Royal Family over the next decade. “Not only will Harry and Meghan’s tours and upcoming trip to Canada be on the agenda, but also their titles and peerages will be up for discussion,” said the source. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have just completed their second quasi-royal tour this year – in Colombia, where they spent four days last week promoting mental health among youngsters and the military community, cyberbullying, female empowerment and the cultural richness of Colombia.

Back in May, the Sussex couple also visited Nigeria. Royal commentator Emily Andrews dubbed Harry and Meghan’s “tours” as “somewhat risky” due to them not having the protection or diplomatic expertise of the Foreign Office as they are not working royals. The couple were invited to Colombia by Vice President Francia Márquez who provided them a full security detail during their visit, the cost of which reportedly hit the country with a £1.5 million bill, according to local media. As they sensationally quit their royal duties in 2020 and moved to the US, the Sussexes no longer travel at the request of the UK Government on official overseas royal visits.
