Royal Family: Meghan Markle ‘feeling pretty miserable’ after historic night

The Duchess of Sussex is unlikely to have been delighted by the outcome of a major world event this week.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expected to be feeling “miserable” this week after Donald Trump was re-elected US President on Tuesday night.

While neither the Duke nor the Duchess of Sussex backed a candidate ahead of the US presidential election, Meghan had criticised Mr Trump in an interview released before she met Harry. Recently, the US President-elect also spoke unfavourably about the couple. Mr Trump has also been creating concern for both Harry and Meghan after comments that he may investigate further into Prince Harry’s US visa application, which earlier this year was at the centre of a lawsuit launched by the conservative Heritage Foundation think tank.

Speaking on The Daily Mail’s Palace Confidential, The Mail on Sunday’s Charlotte Griffith said: “[Harry] will definitely be keeping his head down and definitely burying it in the sand and possibly even running away to Portugal where he’s got a new house. I think that house in Portugal is going to come in very handy over the coming months, not least because Trump said if I get made President he will have nowhere to hide.”

She also said: “Harry and Meghan are the King and Queen of woke, and America is not a very woke place when Trump is in charge, so Meghan will be distraught. I’m amazed she didn’t come out in support of Kamala Harris, she didn’t say anything, but I think she will be feeling pretty miserable this week.”

A royal expert has alleged that the late Queen was left furious after Meghan Markle claimed that she had asked for permission to call their daughter Lilibet.

Meghan Markle “copyrighted” the name Lilibet before giving birth to her daughter, a royal expert has claimed.

They also blasted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after a new royal book alleged that the late Queen Elizabeth was left furious following their claim she had given them her blessing to call their baby daughter Lilibet.

Lilibet was first used by the late monarch when she was just a toddler and unable to pronounce her own name properly. Her grandfather King George V would call her Lilibet imitating her own attempts to say Elizabeth and that’s how the name stuck.

Charles III: New King, New Court, The Inside Story by Robert Hardman, segments of which have been serialised by the Daily Mail, read: “One [aide] privately recalled that Elizabeth II had been ‘as angry as I’d ever seen her’ in 2021 after the Sussexes announced that she had given them her blessing to call their baby daughter ‘Lilibet’, the Queen’s childhood nickname.”

Reports at the time claimed the late Queen was consulted about the name, but did not feel able to say no whereas the BBC reported that a Palace source alleged the monarch was not asked by the Sussexes whether they could use the name.

At the time, the Sussexes’s lawyers reportedly sent legal letters to the BBC and other publishers saying the claim was false and defamatory, while their spokesperson insisted they spoke to the late monarch.

According to Hardman, Queen Elizabeth allegedly told Palace aides: “I don’t own the palaces or the paintings, only my name, and now they’ve taken that.”

Royal biographer Angela Levin blasted the couple over leaving the late Queen ‘furious’ and called their actions “appalling”.

She told GB News: “That’s an incredibly sad comment, I think one of the reasons she felt that way was because it was discovered that Meghan, even before Lilibet was born, had taken out the names officially so that she could use them to buy things and to identify them.

Presenter Eamonn Holmes asked: “What do you mean? They’d copyrighted the name?” Levin replied: “Yes. Before she had Lilibet, I think that was awful for the Queen because she gets drawn into owning organisations due to the name being so unique.

“This name is just for her because she couldn’t say Elizabeth when she was young. It’s also for her family, her parents, and the Duke of Edinburgh, they all called her it out of love, it’s very intimate.

“People who don’t know about that will think that the Queen is supporting this, let’s buy it. I think it’s appalling.”

Buckingham Palace and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been contacted for comment.

  • Meghan Markle Accused of Blackmailing Prince Harry Over His Solo Appearances: A Battle for Fame

Meghan Markle Accused of Blackmailing Prince Harry Over His Solo Appearances: A Battle for Fame

Meghan Markle Accused of Blackmailing Prince Harry Over His Solo Appearances: A Battle for Fame
Explosive new CCTV footage that’s surfaced, showing our favorite attention-seeking former royal doing what she does best—manipulating and controlling her puppet, Prince Harry.

Qur desperate Duchess is apparently caught on camera, practically begging—no, let’s call it what it really is—blackmailing her husband not to do any more solo trips. Can you believe the audacity? Actually, yes, you can, because this is exactly what we’ve been saying all along.

Because there are layers to this onion of desperation, and each one stinks more than the last. Why, you ask, would someone who claims to be such an independent, strong feminist woman be so terrified of her husband doing anything on his own? I’ll tell you why: because without Prince Harry, she’s just another failed cable TV actress who couldn’t even make it as a briefcase girl on Deal or No Deal without complaining about it years later.

Remember when she first burst onto the royal scene? Oh, how the media fawned over her: the American actress who was going to modernize the monarchy. Well, look how that turned out. Instead of modernizing anything, she spent her entire 18 months as a working royal planning her exit strategy. Talk about a long con! But here’s what really gets me—and I know it gets to you, too—the sheer hypocrisy of it all.

This woman, who claimed she wanted privacy, who said she felt trapped by the institution, who complained about every single aspect of royal life, is now desperately clinging to her royal connection like it’s the last designer handbag at a sample sale.

Let’s talk about that CHLA event crash, shall we? Because that tells you everything you need to know about her desperation level. While Harry’s off doing something meaningful, she’s gatecrashing children’s hospital events like some sort of discount Diana impersonator. The difference is, Diana did it because she genuinely cared about helping others, while our “Monito” resident does it because she needs the headlines.

And speaking of headlines—let’s talk about that delicious moment with Brooklyn Beckham. Oh my goodness, grab your popcorn because this is where it gets juicy. When asked about which royals he sees most often (after years of his parents supposedly being close friends with the Sussexes), what does he say? Probably William. And then he adds that William is the sweetest guy ever. Can you hear that? That’s the sound of someone publicly choosing sides. And let me tell you, this isn’t just a snub; it’s a full-on royal rejection.

And you know what makes this even juicier? It’s not just the Beckhams. Look around—where are all those celebrity friends now? Where’s Oprah with her follow-up interview? Where’s Gail King with her insider scoops? Where are all those Hollywood A-listers who fell all over themselves to be associated with them when they first moved to California?

Here’s the thing—I’ve been saying it from day one: Hollywood can smell desperation from a mile away, and right now, our favorite former royal couple reeks of it. They’re like that couple at a party who won’t stop talking about the time they met someone famous. Except their whole identity now is: “We used to be working royals.”

Now, let’s talk about Harry for a minute, because honestly, watching his transformation has been like watching a car crash in slow motion. Remember the old Harry, the one who could actually crack a joke without checking with his wife first? The one who had real friends, not just a collection of celebrity acquaintances who dodge his calls? The one who actually seemed happy? Now, look at him. His $50,000 hair transplant might be the most successful investment he’s made since leaving the royal family. Everything else—the Netflix deal that’s producing nothing but reality TV, the Spotify deal that crashed and burned, the book that told us more about his frostbitten bits than we ever needed to know—has just been sad.

And that’s the thing about Harry—he’s become a cautionary tale. He’s what happens when you let someone else write your story. He went from being one of the most beloved members of the royal family to the relative everyone avoids at family gatherings. And why? Because he married someone who saw him not as a person, but as a ticket to fame.

Let’s be real here. Meghan didn’t marry Harry because she fell in love with just Harry. She fell in love with Prince Harry—sixth in line to the British throne, the people’s prince, Diana’s son. She saw an opportunity and grabbed it. The problem is, she thought she could separate the prince from the institution, take the parts she wanted, and discard the rest like last season’s fashion. But that’s not how it works, is it? The monarchy isn’t a buffet where you pick and choose what you want. It’s an all-or-nothing deal, and now they have nothing. Well, except their titles, which they cling to like a lifeline while simultaneously trashing the institution that gave them those titles.

And now, we’re seeing the desperation reach new levels. This footage of Meghan allegedly begging Harry not to do solo trips? That’s not about love or concern—it’s about control. It’s about fear. Because every time Harry does something on his own, people get a glimpse of who he used to be, and that terrifies her.

Meanwhile, look at William and Catherine. Look at how they’ve handled everything thrown their way: accusations, books, interviews—everything. They’ve remained dignified, focused on their duties, and more popular than ever. That’s what real royalty looks like. That’s what class looks like. Catherine, especially, has shown us what it means to be a true princess.

But let’s get back to the main story. This CCTV footage is the gift that keeps on giving. It’s like watching someone’s carefully crafted facade crumble in real time. All those interviews, staged photos, and sources close to the couple—they can’t hide the truth anymore. The truth is, without Harry, Meghan has nothing to sell, no stories to tell, no grievances to air, and no institution to rebel against. She’d just be another Hollywood wannabe with a failed lifestyle blog and a string of cable TV appearances.

That’s what terrifies her most: irrelevance. That’s why she can’t let Harry do solo appearances. That’s why she has to control every narrative and insert herself into every situation. Because the moment Harry starts showing signs of independence—when he reconnects with his old self—her whole house of cards comes tumbling down.

And you know what? Maybe that wouldn’t be such a bad thing. Maybe Harry needs to remember who he was before he became a supporting character in someone else’s story. Maybe he needs to remember the family who loved him unconditionally—not for his title, but for who he really was.

Until then, we’ll keep watching this sad spectacle unfold. We’ll continue supporting our true Prince and Princess of Wales, who show us every day what real royal duty looks like. We’ll keep calling out the hypocrisy, the manipulation, and the desperate attempts to stay relevant. Because that’s what we do here, isn’t it? We tell the truth—even when it’s not pretty. We support the ones who deserve it and call out the ones who don’t.

Tears for the Future: Prince William Reacts to King Charles Stepping Down From Royal Duties

Tears for the Future: Prince William Reacts to King Charles Stepping Down From Royal Duties
No family should ever have to face the heartache of seeing one of its own suffer from illness, whether it’s a serious condition or something more minor. Even members of the royal family deserve a break when their health demands it. Recently, Camilla, the Queen Consort, has made headlines for stepping back from several royal engagements in November due to a chest infection. Let’s all keep her in our thoughts and prayers for a swift recovery, and for the healing of all those who are unwell.

In a shocking turn of events, King Charles made a surprising announcement earlier today: he is stepping down from royal duties. The news has sent waves through the monarchy, especially as it signals a new era for the British royal family. Prince William is set to take over, and this change has left many wondering why Charles made this choice and what it means for the future of the monarchy.

To understand King Charles’ decision, it’s important to consider the tradition of royal succession. The throne typically passes to the next in line, and while stepping down is rare, it has happened before. The last time a monarch voluntarily abdicated was in 1936, when King Edward VIII gave up the throne to marry an American woman. Since then, royal abdication has been almost unheard of, making King Charles’ decision all the more significant.

Several royal family members have experienced health challenges in recent years, prompting them to reconsider their priorities. For instance, earlier this year, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, was diagnosed with cancer. While she has since recovered, it has shifted her perspective on her royal duties. Charles, too, has faced health concerns, including cancer treatment, but he resumed his royal duties in the spring. However, both Charles and Camilla are mindful of not overexerting themselves, making sure they pace themselves as they continue their work. Camilla is expected to return to royal duties in the coming days.

This decision also reflects a shift in the monarchy as it moves forward into the modern era. King Charles has long been in the public eye, preparing to be king for over 70 years, and has faced substantial criticism along the way, from his marriage to Princess Diana to his outspoken views on various issues. Even as king, Charles has been subject to public scrutiny, with some questioning his ability to live up to the legacy of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. Her reign was marked by dignity and adaptability, traits that some felt were lacking in her son.

Being a monarch today is incredibly demanding, with constant media attention, political pressure, and the responsibility of keeping the monarchy relevant in a rapidly changing world. King Charles may have concluded that Prince William, with his modern approach and focus on global issues, was better suited to lead the monarchy into the future.

Prince William, currently in Cape Town, South Africa, has been making waves with his work on the Earthshot Prize, an initiative he founded in 2020 to combat climate change. During his trip, he appeared in an Instagram post by Robert Irwin, the wildlife conservationist and son of Steve Irwin. The relaxed, sunny photos showed William enjoying his time in South Africa while also highlighting his passion for environmental causes. As the future king, William has made sustainability and climate action central to his work, demonstrating his commitment to finding real solutions for the planet’s future.

Despite his usual hands-on involvement with the Earthshot Prize, William took a lighter approach during his recent appearance, joking about his reluctance to get in the water with sharks, though he commented, “I see great whites on TV and that’s enough.”

With all these developments, the British monarchy is undeniably entering a new chapter. While King Charles’ decision may have surprised many, it signals a significant shift in the royal family’s priorities, with Prince William stepping up to take the lead. The coming years will undoubtedly bring even more change and evolution for the royal family, and as always, the world will be watching closely.

Meghan Markle expressed her “fear” about returning to the UK with Harry, saying, “The Royal Family will….full details below 😱👇

Meghan Markle is reportedly scared to return to the UK with Prince Harry if he decides to spend time there over summer.

Meghan Markle will likely not join Prince Harry if he returns to the UK for an extended stay to reconnect with his family, an insider has claimed. The Duke of Sussex is believed to be planning a trip to “prioritise mending his broken relationship with his family,” but his wife will not join him, Closer reports.

Harry is very anxious to go home and see his dad, catch up with his friends for his birthday in September and also pay a visit to his aunt, Princess Anne. But that situation hasn’t changed for Meghan,” an insider tells the publication.

She’s respectful that Harry has to go back to his home for practical and emotional reasons, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go with him.”

Meghan is currently working on her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, and most recently released a small number of jams to friends and influencers to promote the company. She has also reportedly recently wrapped on her next Netflix show, a cooking programme

She’s got way too much on her plate with the brand and her new cooking show, as well as looking after the kids,” the insider says. “The last thing she needs is the stress of going back to the UK, where she fears she’d be heckled again in public, which she finds incredibly painful.”

Meghan and Harry were famously booed when they arrived at the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

The couple last visited the UK together for an Invictus Games event in May, however, Meghan never left the airport before the pair jetted to Nigeria

During that visit, Harry attempted to see his father, but issued a statement saying King Charles was too busy and unable to meet up with him.

Harry’s spokesperson said, “The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

The soonest that Meghan is likely to visit the UK with Harry is in 2027 for the Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham.

5 MINS AGO! Prince Harry secretly took Archie’s hair for a DNA test and laughed, saying, “This boy isn’t mine—his father is someone else in the royal family…” See more below 👇👇👇

In an extraordinary turn of events, Prince Harry has allegedly revealed the results of a DNA test concerning his firstborn son, Archie. The shocking admission has sent ripples through royal circles and left the public in disbelief: Archie is reportedly not Prince Harry’s biological child. Despite this revelation, Prince Harry made it clear that his love for his son remains unchanged.

    A Royal Shockwave
The British royal family has always been subject to speculation and scrutiny, but this latest development has caught even the most seasoned royal watchers off guard. According to rumors, Harry and Meghan had chosen to take a private DNA test for Archie amidst swirling doubts and rumors about their son’s paternity. These whispers have circulated in gossip circles for years, but the couple had previously dismissed them as baseless. However, Harry’s recent revelation has added an unexpected twist.

    The Importance of Family
Prince Harry’s reported statement about Archie is not just a personal reflection but a testament to his dedication as a father. For Harry, family has always been at the heart of his decisions. His commitment to creating a loving environment for Archie and Lilibet has remained unwavering, despite his departure from royal duties and the intense media scrutiny that has followed his family since he and Meghan moved to California.

This is my family,” Harry allegedly declared. “Archie and Lilibet will always be the children I’ve raised, protected, and loved unconditionally. Nothing will change that.”

    Meghan Markle’s Role
While Prince Harry has reportedly come forward with these revelations, sources close to the family indicate that Meghan Markle has remained supportive throughout the process. Meghan, always a protective mother, has focused on ensuring that Archie and Lilibet grow up in a secure and loving environment, far from the pressures of the royal spotlight.

The couple’s relationship is said to have grown even stronger in the face of such challenges. “Meghan is everything to me,” Harry shared. “Together, we’ve built a life for our children that isn’t based on titles or bloodlines, but on love and unity.”

    The Public’s Reaction
The world is no stranger to shocking royal revelations, but this one may top them all. Fans of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have expressed their support, emphasizing that love is what truly defines a family. Social media has been abuzz with messages of encouragement for the couple, with many praising Harry’s openness and honesty.

    Conclusion

While the news of Archie’s paternity may be shocking, Prince Harry’s response speaks volumes about his character and priorities as a father. The love he has for his children, regardless of DNA, shows that family is about more than biology – it’s about unconditional love and support. As the royal family continues to navigate these changes, one thing remains clear: Prince Harry’s bond with Archie is stronger than ever.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have appeared together in a new video together just after Donald Trump won the US election.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke in a video published via their Archewell Foundation website about the inaugural United Nations Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in Bogota, Colombia.

In the video, Meghan, 43, spoke about the importance of addressing digital violence to prioritise children’s safety in today’s world, something the Archewell Foundation focuses on as one of its priorities.

Believed to be speaking from Montecito, Meghan said:“My husband and I recognise today’s reality is marked by greater connectivity and advanced technology, which of course has many positives, but which also compels us to better understand how digital violence against children is manifesting itself in this age.”

Harry, who appeared by his wife’s side for the first time since September, added that families are “desperately seeking support” to protect their children in this digital age. No mention of Donald Trump’s election victory was made, with the couple reportedly not huge fans of the US President.

‘Serious’ Prince Harry reunites with Meghan Markle for ‘regal double act’ in latest video

EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle send a clear message with their latest joint appearance, claims body language expert.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle showcased “intense signs of unity” during their latest joint appearance, a body language expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared in a new video released by their Archewell Foundation about the inaugural United Nations Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in Bogota, Colombia, which addressed “urgent solutions and actions needed to create a world where children are safe and protected in their homes, schools, communities, and online spaces”.

In the video, which appeared to have been filmed at their Montecito home, the couple applauded the efforts of those addressing the issue and stressed the importance of tackling digital violence to prioritise children’s safety in today’s world.

Now body language expert Judi James explained how the couple’s “regal-looking double act” is still a “force to be reckoned with”.

She told Express.co.uk: “This video shows that the Harry and Meghan regal-looking double act is still very much a force to be reckoned with despite their recent trait of working on separate projects and campaigns.

“The body language signals of unity are intense here in terms of twinned mirroring, with both standing upright side-be-side dressed in matching sombre navy jackets and with their poppies pinned to their lapels in a homage to Remembrance Day.”

Ms James added that while Harry’s body language appears to be formal, Meghan’s is more relaxed and “softer”.

She explained: “The air of royal formality is constant from Harry here. He barely smiles and his attitude looks military, with his hands clasped behind his back and bouncing up and down on his toes to register authority and a serious, assertive approach.

“Meghan’s body language looks softer and her smile is more constant. When Harry speaks, she employs bonding rituals of affection, turning her face to watch him with a smile of approval.”

“While the necessity has always been apparent, it is now time to translate that awareness into meaningful action.”

Meghan added: “My husband and I recognise today’s reality is marked by greater connectivity and advanced technology, which of course has many positives, but which also compels us to better understand how digital violence against children is manifesting itself in this age.”

The Princess of Wales will attend two major events this weekend, it has been announced.

The Princess of Wales will be joining senior members of the Royal Family at two official events on both Saturday and Sunday, Buckingham Palace has announced.

On Saturday, Princess Kate will head to the Royal Albert Hall to attend the Festival of Remembrance, a stunning and poignant concert paying tribute every year to those who gave their lives to keep Britain safe.

A Palace statement said: “Members of the Royal Family will attend the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall. His Majesty The King became Patron of the Royal British Legion earlier this year.

“The Festival will be attended by His Majesty The King, The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and The Duke of Kent.”

The following day, she will head to the Cenotaph, to attend the Remembrance Sunday service, the palace confirmed.

On both occasions, Kate will be joined by Prince William – although the Prince of Wales is expected to play a more active role during the service on Sunday, with his wife instead attending the sombre ceremony from one of the Foreign Office’s balconies overlooking the Cenotaph, as she has done in previous years.

On Sunday, the heir to the throne will lay the wreath previously laid by King Charles as the former Prince of Wales, featuring The Prince of Wales’s feathers. The wreath bears a new ribbon in Welsh red.

The Palace added: “The King and Members of the Royal Family will attend the annual Remembrance Day Service at The Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday.

“The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and The Duke of Kent will also attend the Service.”

The announcement marks the next significant step in Kate’s gradual return to public royal duties, as she prepares to join the King and the Prince of Wales to honour the nation’s fallen.

It comes after William revealed how 2024 has been “brutal” and “probably been the hardest year in my life” with both Kate and the King having been diagnosed with cancer.
