NINE children were shot during Kansas City Super Bowl parade – that left one person dead and up to 29 injured – as new footage shows moment gunman with assault rifle was tackled by fans

Terrifying footage has emerged showing the moment Kansas City fans fleeing after rapid gunfire was let off during the Chiefs Super Bowl Parade,  with officials now confirming 29 have been injured with nine of them believed to be children.

Two gunmen opened fire inside Union Station moments after the team including Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes left the stage on what should have been a triumphant day for the city following the Chiefs victory on Sunday.

New video has since emerged showing what sounds like rapid gun shot fire being let off at the parade.

Other footage shows the moment a suspect is tackled by Chiefs fans, with one woman seen picking up what appears to be an assault rifle.

The group hauled the alleged gunman to the ground and then shouted ‘we got the gun.’ The men held down the suspect until cops arrived to detain him.

Children’s Mercy Kansas City said the hospital was treating 12 patients, including eleven kids, TMZ reported nine of which have gunshot wounds. Police have also confirmed that they have detained three people.

‘When you have this many casualties, it´s going to get spread out among a lot of hospitals so that you don´t overwhelm any single ER,’ she said.

In a press conference in the last hour, Police Chief Stacey Graves said: ‘We are working to determine if one of the three are the one that was in that video, where fans assisted police.’

Graves also said that firearms were recovered following the shooting, saying: ‘We have recovered firearms. I don’t have a number for you or a caliber.’

No charges have been announced, and police said no motive has been determined. Police have referred to the people in custody as being detained.

While Kansas City Fire Chief Ross Grundyson said that eight victims had immediately life threatening injuries.

Witnesses described terrifying scenes as the family occasion descended into nightmarish scenes.

Gabe Wallace, a sophomore at local Shawnee Mission East, told the Kansas City Star that he was quickly separated from his friends as the carnage unfolded.

He said his only thoughts were ‘my friends are dead’, and said coach Andy Reid comforted him.

Rick Burkholder, a staffer for the Kansas City Chiefs team, said shortly after that Coach Reid was rushed to safety, and he and his family were ‘safe and on a bus headed to Arrowhead.’

Kanye West Brags About Overtaking Taylor Swift on Spotify Global But ‘It Only Lasted a Day!’

Kanye West overthrew Taylor Swift as the most streamed artist on Spotify Global on Jan. 13 but bragged about it days later.

The “Gold Digger” rapper shared an X (formerly known as Twitter) post from the Daily Loud that included a screenshot of Spotify’s Daily Top Artists Global ranking.

However, netizens were quick to point out that the ranking only lasted a day, and that it was already old news since the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker quickly returned to the No. 1 spot by the time he posted about it.

“All of this just for Taylor to go back to #1 as she has been for the past 293728373 days. Kanye, you’re obsessed,” one wrote.

“He knows she makes him famous that’s why he keeps talking about her,’ another added, referencing West’s 2016 song “Famous,” which included a jab at Swift.

“Taylor is back to No. 1. Now he looks extra goofy.”

“He looks goofy because this update is from Monday.”

“Embarrassing cause it only lasted a day and Taylor is already back at No. 1, he’s still on Feb 11,” another remarked.

Kanye West Drops ‘Vultures’ Album With Ty Dolla $ign

West overtaking Swift on Spotify’s Global Artist ranking came shortly after the release of his joint album with Ty Dolla $ign, “Vultures 1.”

The album yielded two singles “Vultures,” released on Nov. 22, 2023, and “Talking / Once Again,” released on Feb. 8, 2024.

This is the rapper’s first release in three years; he dropped “Donda” in 2021, and fans have been asking that he return to the music scene since then.

The hip-hop duo also noted that “Vultures 1″ will be followed up by two more albums, ” Vultures 2″ and “Vultures 3,” which will be released on Mar. 8 and Apr. 5, respectively.

Meanwhile, “Vultures 1′ was met with disappointment from Metracritic; the album was given a 49/100 rating. The Guardian gave West and Ty Dolla $ign’s album a two-star review.

“There are hopelessly weak verses from West – if you like feeble sex rhymes laden with unfunny puns, Vultures is very much the album for you,” the publication’s review read.

Taylor Swift Reigns Over Spotify Global

Swift, on the other hand, recently earned her fourth Album of the Year award from the Recording Academy for her 10th studio album, “Midnights.”

The album yielded several singles including “Anti-Hero,” a consistent chart-topper, “Lavender Haze,” and “Karma.”

These songs, along with her other discography were consistently streamed by Swifties, and it resulted in the singer being named Spotify’s Global Top Artist in 2023.

The NFL has done what so many have tried (and failed) to do before them: isolate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s audio from the hoards of screaming fans in the background as they kissed and hugged after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl. Here, read this whilst I hold back sobs:

In the event that you’re still reading this and not just watching that video on repeat, a source recently told People that “It was the most thrilling experience. She’s loved attending all the games, but this was of course on another level. They partied and celebrated all night. It’s been the best few months for them.”

Taylor joined Travis after the Super-Bowl for an all-night after-party, where they were seen kissing, hugging, and dancing to Taylor’s music (as one does). Next up for these two? I don’t think Taylor’s schedule is that bad, it’s basically just 3 weeks of touring with him being off 1 of those weeks, she’ll fly home in between, if they can’t handle that then what’s the point of all this.

Then she’s off until he’s done, she could even in theory make the Super Bowl if the Chiefs get that far despite being in Japan the night before. They are two secure midish-thirties adults with careers. They probably don’t need to be around each other all of the time, although I am sure it feels good to do so right now.

Some of the attention will die down eventually. It’s just a really nice love story in a time when there’s a lot of bad stuff in the media. I’ve seen people talk about how it almost makes them feel patriotic. You can’t get much more of a quintessential American romance than the football legend and the pop star, both with strong families, both self-made, both hotter than hell and into each other, treating each other with an almost old school sweetness in public.

It’s Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe. Its the American David and Victoria Beckham. It’s being idealized to an extreme, I’m sure. New love can be a beautiful, intoxicating thing, even for people just witnessing it.

They look happy. I hope they enjoy it and it works out. I don’t know enough about Swift to know if she is acting different than normal, but I’ve seen a different Kelce over the last few months.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift sealed the NFL star’s big win with a kiss!

Kelce and Swift, both 34, shared a sweet kiss on the field as the Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their big win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship.

After the game was decided, Swift made her way to the field at M&T Bank Stadium to greet Kelce, who was surrounded by teammates and cameras.

The 12-time Grammy-winning singer planted a kiss on the NFL star as they celebrated the big win. His mother and father, Donna and Ed Kelce, were standing alongside as the couple shared the sweet moment.

Kelce’s speech showed the NFL star’s excitement for his team’s big win. The tight end quoted the Beastie Boys’ lyrics “You’ve got to fight/ for your right/ to party” — the same lyric he repeated last year when they won the 2023 Super Bowl — as he addressed Chiefs friends and family.

Swift was seen laughing as her beau got Chiefs Kingdom hyped for another Super Bowl appearance.

Swift was shown on the broadcast earlier during the Chiefs’ ceremony, as she raised her hands to clap for head coach Andy Reid.

After his speech, Travis greeted his brother, Jason Kelce, on the field. The Philadelphia Eagles center not only pulled out his “Big Yeti” shirt again to cheer for his brother’s Chiefs on Sunday — but he also added an extra layer of clothing over that T-shirt.

In a sequel to his viral shirtless celebration last week, Jason, 36, attended the AFC Championship game, where the Chiefs squared off with the Baltimore Ravens.

Kelce, alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes, pulled off the AFC Championship win against the Baltimore Ravens 17-7. It will be the second year in a row they’re headed to the big game, after winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy last year.

It was a huge game for Kelce, who officially tied NFL legend Jerry Rice for the most postseason catches in NFL history.

NFL cameras caught Patrick Mahomes’ heartwarming message to head coach Andy Reid following the Kansas City Chiefs’ walk-off victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58.

Mahomes threw the game-winning touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman in overtime to walk it off inside Allegiant Stadium. With the victory, the Chiefs cemented themselves as a dynasty and became the first team to win consecutive Super Bowls since the 2003 and ’04 New England Patriots.

“Inside the NFL” cameras caught Mahomes delivering the most wholesome message to coach Reid and his wife, Tammy, during the post-game celebration.

“Can I get in on this? I love y’all,” Mahomes said. “How crazy is that, huh? How crazy is that, huh? Yes sir…what a call huh? What a call. Oh, my gosh. Woo!”

Mahomes won his third Super Bowl MVP as well, completing 34 passes for 333 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He also finished as KC’s leading rusher with 66 yards on nine carries.

Incredibly, all three of Mahomes’ Super Bowl victories ended with a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter or overtime. And in all three of those games, his team trailed by double-digits at some point.

The Chiefs were underdogs for each of their final three playoff games, and they came out on top in a late nailbiter ever single time. Indeed, there is no questioning who the best player in football is right now.

Up next, Mahomes and coach Reid will try to help the Chiefs become the first team ever to win three straight Super Bowl championships.
