PETA has aimed a dig at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for visiting Sydney Zoo, as the animal rights nonprofit organization released a statement saying the couple should ‘spend their time and money at a true sanctuary,’ instead. 

The popstar and her NFL boyfriend went on a date at the 16.5-hectare site earlier this week ahead of Swift’s three concerts in Australia’s biggest city, as they were spotted even petting a little kangaroo.

But, Debbie Metzler – PETA Foundation’s Director of Captive Animal Welfare – was far from impressed with the latest sighting of the ‘You Belong with Me’ and ’22’ hitmaker.

In a shared statement, she said: ‘While we understand all too well the appeal of seeing Australia’s wildlife, PETA hopes that next time Taylor and Travis want to see wild animals, they’ll spend their time and money at a true sanctuary.’

The charitable organization adds that a sanctuary is a better choice due to visitors being at a respectful distance from animals and the fact that they can’t feed or touch them there.

Kelce jetted out to join his world famous girlfriend after she flew back to the U.S. to watch her beau and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates win their third Super Bowl in five years.

Before this year’s big game, she had been in Tokyo to perform and kickstart the international part of her Eras Tour.

She will be in London for two concerts on June 21 and 22.

 

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his fiancée Brittany Matthews are expecting their first child together, the couple announced on Instagram on Tuesday.

First, Mahomes went onto the field to receive his ring for winning Super Bowl LIV. The 24-year-old was named MVP after throwing for 286 yards and two touchdowns during the game, according to CBS Sports. He then proposed at the club-level suites.

Mahomes and Matthews met at Whitehouse High School in Texas nearly 10 years ago, according to CBS Sports. After announcing her pregnancy on Tuesday, Matthews shared a photo of their dog on her Instagram story, writing that the pup was “pretty pumped about being a big sis.”

“He should have reined it in a little bit,” explains a source, who exclusively tells Life & Style Trav’s boozed-up behavior isn’t all the pop star is looking to change. “Pals are saying now that Taylor and Travis are more than six months into their relationship, she feels comfortable setting certain rules for him to follow. Fortunately, Travis is on board – with most of them, anyway.” MAKING HER HAPPY Most, but not all.

“Travis is fine with Taylor giving him her thoughts and opinions on how to navigate such a public relationship. He really does appreciate it,” says the source. “He’s not so happy with some of the restrictions she wants in place, though.”

 

For example, Travis – who’s talked about past visits to adult-entertainment venues on his “New Heights” podcast and wore a Crazy Horse 3 Las Vegas shirt to a November football game – “is fine not going to strip clubs anymore (that’s one of her hard rules), but Taylor also doesn’t want him posing for photographs with female fans, mostly to avoid inaccurate headlines,” explains the source. “He had to roll his eyes at that one.”

As Travis has quickly learned, $1.1 billion woman Taylor is a master at shaping her public image. “But he has no interest in playing a calculated media game if it’s going to make him think twice about every move he makes. That’s not his style,” adds the source. Yet he’s also a man in love – something he publicly declared on the field after his team won the AFC Championship in January, notes the source – so he’s willing to give it a go.

GENTLE DEMANDS There’s more. “Friends claim that Taylor has asked Travis to FaceTime her, not just text, when they’re apart,” shares the source, noting that “she didn’t overtly say it, but she secretly wants to see where he is and who he’s with. Taylor’s a good judge of character and fears that some of his buddies are red flags.”

 

After making it through his NFL career without putting a hand on Chuck Noll, Terry Bradshaw seemed surprised by Travis Kelce’s altercation with Andy Reid.

 

It’s been a minute since NFL fans heard from Bradshaw. With CBS hosting Super Bowl LVIII and Bradshaw missing Fox’s NFC Championship coverage due to an illness, there was plenty for the Hall of Fame quarterback to catch up on during his Thursday afternoon appearance on The Rich Eisen Show. It certainly would have been something if Reid toppled over and his play sheet went flying onto the field. I’m also not sure whether Reid’s recent hip surgery was as widely known as Bradshaw made it seem.

As Reid laughed off the altercation after the game, the 65-year-old NFL head coach did joke that the bump from Kelce “tested that hip out.” So he probably doesn’t mind Bradshaw referencing his surgery. Bradshaw added that he texted Reid after the game and was surprised to immediately get a response from the Chiefs head coach amid all the pomp and circumstance that comes with winning the Super Bowl.

Sharing three photos of the infant on Instagram Wednesday, the mom of three, 31, celebrated “6 months of Bennie 🥰.”

One photo shows the infant giving the camera a tight-lipped smile as she sat at a counter. Another shows her sleeping, with the last showing Bennett reaching out and putting her hands in dad Jason Kelce’s bushy beard. Jason and Kylie are also parents to daughters Elliotte, 2, and Wyatt, 3.

“Just the cutest!!!!” commented mother-in-law Donna Kelce.

It’s a secret so hot it could have melted the Buffalo snow, and it was sealed with a kiss on New Year’s Eve.

 

Fans swooned over pictures of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s midnight kiss in Kansas City – but little did they know the couple was not only ushering in a new year but vowing to spend the rest of their lives together.

In recent weeks there has been a flurry of flip-flopping headlines – they’re engaged, they’re not engaged, he’s shopping for a ring, they may not go the distance.

On January 11, Page Six reported that the couple plans to get engaged this summer.

On January 12 The Daily Mirror reported that there were ‘no plans’ for an engagement.

And on January 15, TMZ reported insiders questioning whether the relationship would even ‘go the distance.’

Day after day the rumor mill churns. And throughout it all Kelce and Swift have remained serenely and graciously silent.

Because the truth is they know exactly where they’re at in their relationship and the promise that they have made to one another.

But for now, Kelce’s focus must remain on the game, with the Chiefs facing the Baltimore Ravens next week and just one victory away from a spot in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

And for Swift, the consummate professional, it’s time to gear up for the next leg of her blockbuster Eras tour in Japan next month.

It is rumored that Kelce – whose hope by then will be to have secured a third Super Bowl ring – plans to join her in Europe.

But however mindful the loved-up couple must be of each other’s careers, their commitment to each other is not in doubt, a fact on which they doubled down as 2023 gave way to 2024.
