“Dear NFL Coaches and General Managers,” read the letter that was published by The Players Tribune.

“For months now, I’ve been answering your questions to the best of my ability. Walking you through my game tape, reciting plays back to you and breaking down my decision-making process, from what time I go to bed to what I eat for breakfast every morning.

“You’ve watched me run and jump and lift weights and throw the ball as far as I can. You’ve wondered aloud if I can adjust to the speed of the pro game and adapt to the complexity of an NFL offense.

“All of those things are important and, for the most part, they all involve football in some way. But they’re still not quite football. They’re not the same as being out there in a game, in the huddle with my team.

“I will not whine or complain during the process. I won’t be a distraction, on or off the field.

“I will put in the hours to master your playbook. I won’t stop until I get everything right, down to the smallest detail.

“I may make mistakes along the way. And I won’t win every single game I play during my career. I won’t retire with a perfect passer rating or zero career interceptions. But I’ll try as hard as anybody.

“I’m ready to start the journey to a championship. And, more than anything else in the world, I’m ready to suit up and play some football. The sooner we can get to it, the better.

“Just wait until you see me in the huddle.”

Mahomes has gone on to become one of the finest quarterbacks in the NFL history. At the age of 28, he has already won three Super Bowls, three Super Bowl MVPs and two NFL Most Valuable Player awards in 2018 and 2022.

During the week of the 2024 NFL Combine, a video from the 2023 NFL Draft has resurfaced that exposes Travis Kelce for the lover boy and performer that he is.

The draft was held in Kansas City, where he would see his future girlfriend Taylor Swift at her Eras Tour just months later. He delivered a sultry performance of Josh Turner’s “Your Man” that would make Taylor swoon.

Turner, the 46-year-old country singer, reposted the video of Kelce’s classic performance on social media with the caption, “Now we know how Travis Kelce REALLY caught Taylor Swift’s eye… #YourMan works every time.”

The video was from April 2023, three months before Kelce went to the now-famous Swift concert at Arrowhead Stadium. There is a good chance that Miss Americana saw the video of his “Your Man” cover before he in fact became her man.

“We need him to be a surprise guest on the eras tour to duet with Taylor,” said a Swiftie inspired by the video of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s performance on Twitter/X.

It certainly painted a better image of Travis as a country singer than his sloppy drunk rendition of Garth Brooks’ classic “Friends in Low Places” at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade.

Killa Trav may be in need of some of that trademark charm, because he recently broke a major rule in his relationship with Swift while continuing his Super Bowl celebrations with Patrick Mahomes in Las Vegas.

Football fans are calling for the Kansas City Chiefs to be investigated by the NFL over some rather suspicious activity.

During his appearance on “The Pivot Podcast”, Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman admitted he was “checked out” during his short-lived tenure with the New York Jets. Hardman added that he spoke with Chiefs GM Brett Veach and quarterback Patrick Mahomes and told them to “come get me.”

Sure enough, the Chiefs wound up re-acquiring Hardman from the Jets in a trade involving a swap of late-round picks. Hardman helped the Chiefs defend their Super Bowl championship, catching the game-winning TD pass from Mahomes in overtime against the San Francisco 49ers.

As noted by Connor Hughes of SNY, Hardman’s story is a simple case of tampering. Hughes added that the Jets will likely ask the NFL to investigate and see if the Chiefs committed tampering here.

Fans are now ripping on the Chiefs and calling for the league to investigate and punish them over this suspicious activity…

Hardman later stated on X/Twitter that tampering was not committed, stating that he never spoke with the Chiefs before the trade:

After four seasons with the Chiefs, Hardman signed a one-year deal with the Jets in 2023 free agency. He was a non-factor on a struggling New York team and wound up getting traded back to KC, where Hardman won his third Super Bowl title.

A Kansas City Chiefs coach has claimed that Taylor Swift secretly attend some of the team’s games last season before her ongoing romance with Travis Kelce came into the public eye in the fall. 

Dave Merritt revealed during a recent episode of ‘The Sports Shop with Reese and K-Mac’ podcast that the songstress began showing her support for the team’s starting tight end before attending her first game in Kansas City in September.

‘When [Taylor] started to come around, it was privately,’ the Chiefs defensive backs coach said. ‘She was coming into the stadiums without people knowing until the camera put a big spotlight on it.’

Merritt, who’s been on the Chiefs since 2019, added that all players were supportive of the couple’s relationship from the get-go, despite that potentially meaning the team gaining more exposure than ever, and welcomed Swift into their inner circle straight away.

”There were so many people that were hating the fact that she was being shown on the TV that, you know what? You’re part of our family because you’re with Travis,’ he said.

‘Concert etiquette is important but sometimes people don’t even realize how loud they’re being. In my concert vids I was loud af and I didn’t even realize,’ one more said.

‘Accidentally dropped my drink on one it worked,’ teased yet another while one more person pointed out, ‘There is a huge difference between singing and obnoxiously screeching’.

Blackband shared a video of the emotional incident to TikTok, captioning it, ‘My reaction to Taylor singing Exile (also known as the song that saved my life).’

The clip was then reposted on X, formerly Twitter, where it received a scathing reception.

‘The way that both of the friends are looking at each other like “do NOT laugh” is f***ing sending me,’ one posted.

‘You’ll never catch me FILMING this and posting it for the world to see,’ another added.

‘The mental illness isn’t the crying, which is fake, it’s the filming of the fake crying,’ someone else theorized. ‘The theatrics and narcissistic ownership of a song someone wrote without you in mind.’

Despite the backlash, a number of Swifties took to social media to defend Blackband’s emotional display.

‘Y’all are so mean holy s**t. Like, have some f***ing EMPATHY my god,’ one raged.

Blackband herself also responded to the backlash in a post to X and admitted that she herself agreed with some of her critics, but urged them to be kinder in their approach.

‘I literally AGREE it’s funny, sooo dramatic and that I need to go to a psych ward like no s**t… no normal person reacts to something like that but like why be so GENUINELY mean?’ she posted.

In a statement to Daily Mail, Blackband explained her decision to film her dramatic reaction for social media.

‘The song has such a deep meaning to me and I appreciate the story that is told through it. Many fans had been recording their reactions to hearing the acoustic section of the show, so we thought we would do the same,’ she said.

‘Being outside, it was a little difficult for me to hear what song was being played during the second half of the acoustic set. I noticed that one of my friends started mouthing the words to “Exile” and I was suddenly flooded with emotions,’ she continued.

‘Initially, I was upset that I wasn’t inside of the stadium to see it… but being surrounded by my friends who knew how important “Exile” was to me, meant a lot. I’m glad they were there with me.’

Blackband then insisted that her two friends weren’t embarrassed by her despite cruel comments online claiming otherwise.

The Cruel Summer songstress was seen making her way down a barricade filled to the brim with her supporters, taking time to chat with many of them, hugging them, and even snapping selfies with some.

Many of the fans became overwhelmed with emotion, bursting into tears or covering their mouth in awe as Taylor greeted them.

Others held their composure, only to erupt into sobs as soon as she walked away.

She performs 44 songs from all her 10 albums over three and half hours at each of her Eras Tour concerts, all while undergoing multiple costume changes. 

And with dozens of shows to go, many are wondering how Taylor Swift is going to survive her world tour.

In Sydney last week, the Cruel Summer songstress played four shows back-to-back across four nights – a total of 10 hours and 30 minutes – without showing the slightest ounce of exhaustion.

The pop megastar said she knew what she was facing before she embarked on the tour, and came very well prepared.

‘I knew this tour was harder than anything I’d ever done before by a long shot,’ she told Time magazine last year.

‘Every day I would run on the treadmill, singing the entire set list out loud,’ she told Time magazine.

‘Fast for fast songs, and a jog or a fast walk for slow songs.’

She also incorporated ‘strength, conditioning and weights’ into her fitness regime.

Taylor also cut out alcohol, saying, ‘Doing that show with a hangover… I don’t want to know that world.’

But putting on her immense performances certainly takes a toll on Taylor.

She usually performs two or three shows in a row, followed by a bunch of days off before her next leg.

The Shake It Off hitmaker admitted she needs a full day to recover after finishing a run of shows, and she can ‘barely speak’ or walk afterwards.

‘I do not leave my bed except to get food and take it back to my bed and eat it there [for the first day after the shows],’ she revealed.

‘That’s part of my identity as a human being now. If someone buys a ticket to my show, I’m going to play it unless we have some sort of force majeure.’

The Super Bowl champion has talked previously on his New Heights podcast about his desire to look after his girlfriend, both 34, who he first started dating last summer.

Discussing whether he felt like ‘a security guard’ when they’re out and about in New York City, he told his cohost, and brother, Jason Kelce : ‘I feel like whenever I’m on a date, I’m always having the sense that I’m a man in the situation.

‘I’m protective, yeah, for sure. You always have to have that feeling or self-awareness, I guess.’

The NFL star has frequently been captured on camera subtly moving Taylor’s security team out of the way so he can safely shepherd the singer from one location to another.

The gestures have not gone unnoticed by her fans who have commented on Travis’ protective nature.

‘Travis is literally such a gentleman like the amount of times he touched her to make sure she was safe, and he let the bodyguard know he wanted to get his woman out of the car… Taylor Swift you deserve this,’ wrote one fan on X.

A source said: ‘Travis is a big dude and no one would mess with him because, when it comes to Taylor, he would not play if someone tried to come near her. She has a built in bodyguard at all times’

Another joked: ‘The thing with Travis acting as Taylor’s personal bodyguard as well as her boyfriend is that I would be way more scared of him tackling me than any random bodyguard…’

Travis was said to be upset following a recent incident involving her father Scott Swift and an Australian photographer he was accused of  assaulting over his alleged ‘threatening’ behavior.

Scott, 71, was accused of striking Ben McDonald, 51, at a ferry wharf in the suburb of Neutral Bay at about 2.30am on Tuesday, after Taylor wrapped the Australian leg of her Eras tour.

Taylor’s team said the photographer ‘threatened to throw a female staff member into the water’.

Footage from the moments before the alleged altercation showed Scott walking up wharf while giving photographers the middle finger.

‘Travis wishes he had been with Taylor when her dad got into it with the photographer as he wants to protect her at all costs,’ a separate source told DailyMail.com.

‘He can’t wait for her to be back in the States so they can be together – and if anyone tries anything, he knows that photographers, or anyone else for that matter, wouldn’t dare come close to them if he was around as he is a very massive and intimidating guy.’

A spokeswoman for Taylor Swift told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water.’

The athlete has been seen keeping Taylor away from zealous fans as the source added: ‘No one will try to come close to her when she is holding hands with her powerhouse boyfriend’

Taylor’s family are said to be ‘relieved’ to see her with someone that can ‘keep her safe’

However, Mr McDonald – the chief executive of Matrix Media Group – slammed the statement as ‘utter rubbish’ and said the only female at the scene was Taylor.

‘This is the sort of bulls**t I might expect,’ he said. ‘Which female was that? The only one there was Taylor.’

Mr McDonald said the altercation was caught on camera and did not show the photographers acting aggressively.

An investigation into the alleged incident has been launched by the North Shore Police Command.

Scott has been a fixture by his daughter’s side throughout her sold-out Eras tour.

He has been praised for handing out sandwiches in the middle of a Sydney show, telling fans to ‘help yourselves.’

He also handed out VIP passes so excited fans would have access to better seats.

Travis, Donna’s youngest son, is fitting in the appearance just days before he competes in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers on February 11 – which also airs on CBS.Jason will announce their mother, affectionately known as “Mama Kelce,” while getting to say the show’s signature phrase of “Come on down!”

 

 

 

Meanwhile, what Travis’ role will be hasn’t been announced, nor if Donna will actually be competing or just making a cameo.

The Price Is Right’s primetime special will include Super Bowl-themed prizes, including a trip to Las Vegas for the big football matchup, accordingNot all fans were thrilled by the announcement, especially since it’s so close to when Travis will try to win the Super Bowl.
