On Wednesday, to mark the end of the season, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is due to address the team. Meetings will follow, with players speaking to their position coaches, undergoing an ‘exit physical’ and returning their playbooks.

‘Some guys that know they’re not coming back will clean lockers out. You’ll see people start to pack some things up,’ Kelce explained.

‘I’m not trying to be dramatic and continue to draw this thing out, I’m really not,’ Kelce said

The center, a Super Bowl winner, six-time All-Pro and future Hall-of-Fame inductee, turned and hugged the offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland as the clock ticked towards zero in Tampa.

Jason, the older brother of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis, then had an emotional but brief reunion with his family on the field – his father, Ed, and wife Kylie were cheering him on from the front row of the stands.

They both eventually made it to the NFL after Jason was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011, while Travis joined the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013.

Both brothers went on to win the Super Bowl for their respective teams (Travis doing so twice) across their Hall of Fame careers.

However, had it not been for Jason’s intervention during Travis’ wayward college years, the younger Kelce may never have made it to the pros.

As a result, the Chiefs tight end owes a lot to his older sibling.

As a small token of his appreciation, Travis honours Jason every time he steps out onto the field by wearing No.87 on his jersey.

Speaking ahead of last year’s Super Bowl – which saw the Chiefs beat the Eagles – Travis revealed his number 87 jersey number is a tribute to his brother.

“If there is a Kelce legacy, two brothers making it to the NFL, it all started in 1987 because this big guy [Jason] was born in 1987,” Trav said.

“I’m forever in debt to this guy for putting his name, our name, putting his honour on the line to get me another chance. When I say I owe it all to him, I do.”

“I love you. You’re the only reason why I wear the number 87 anyway,” he said as he handed his brother a jersey.

He added: “I never told you that, man. You started the legacy.”

On the other hand, Jason’s number 62 jersey number has significantly less sentimentality attached to it.

The Eagles center said in an interview, “The significance of No 62 is that when I made it to the National Football League (NFL) this is the number that was given to me and I am honoured to wear it. Growing up I kind of liked the No. 13 for the sports that I played,

“But I had a football coach in middle school that once said to me, ‘The player makes the number, not the other way around,’

“Since then, I’ve taken the number that was handed to me. I have an identity with 62 and I’m going to have that forever.”

The Kelces made NFL history last season by becoming the first siblings to face off in the Super Bowl – which became known as the ‘Kelce Bowl’ due to their involvement.

Travis and Patrick Mahomes got the better of Jason and the Eagles, winning 38-35 to capture their second Vince Lombardi Trophy together.

This season has been a struggle for the Eagles, who crashed out of the playoffs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Wild Card matchup on Monday night.

Following the 32-9 defeat, Jason reportedly told teammates in the locker room that he had decided to retire, calling him on a glistening 13-year NFL career.

Jason finishes as a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, and six-time first-team All-Pro selection, while being widely regarded as one of the greatest centers of all time.

 

Perhaps even more telling, Travis’ ex-girlfriend Maya Benberry issued a public warning to Taylor Swift where she warned her about the athlete’s history of cheating and suspicious motivations.a

 

“Certain qualities don’t change in men. I feel like Travis is a narcissist. Most narcissists don’t change,” Maya told Daily Mail in an interview. “Like the saying goes, once a cheater, always a cheater,” she continued, adding she believes Travis is only chasing his ”15 minutes of fame” by romancing Swift.

“I wanted the public to know I’m not jealous or bitter about Taylor. She’s beautiful, she’s successful, we’re in two different lanes,’ she said before pointing the finger back at the athlete,” Maya continued. “My issue is more with Travis. There have even been reports that Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid have expressed concerns about Travis to Taylor, though Gigi went on record to deny the reports.

“We can’t listen to anything that’s oυtside noise,” Kelce said of his relationship with Swift.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift aren’t concerning theмselves with the opinions of others, as long as they are happy.

 

While answering qυestions froм reporters Friday ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ appearance in the AFC chaмpionship gaмe against the Baltiмore Ravens on Sυnday, Kelce was asked whether he and Swift have discυssed how to deal with the мedia attention swarмing their love story.

“I мean, the only thing we’ve talked aboυt is as long as we’re happy, we can’t listen to anything that’s oυtside noise,” Kelce said. “That’s all that мatters.”

Kelce answered siмilarly when he was asked earlier aboυt his own rise to national proмinence, notably after winning last year’s Sυper Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles — and his brother, Jason Kelce.

On Tuesday, the 31-year-old mom of three shared a heartwarming video on TikTok of her daughter Wyatt, 4, reading a book, set to Taylor Swift’s song “Never Grow Up.”

Wearing striped pajama pants and a Philadelphia Eagles sweatshirt, Wyatt looks lost in thought as she reads her book. The video then switches to footage of a much younger Wyatt as she reads a picture book by herself, wearing an Eagles long-sleeve shirt in support of dad Jason Kelce.

 

“If you’re gonna try to make a headline out of this, you better offer a suggestion of a better audio…because there isnt [sic] one. (Eagles gear was a happy accident.),” Kylie wrote in the caption of her video.

In addition to Wyatt, Kylie and Jason share daughters Bennett, 9 months, and Elliotte, 2.

In November, the mom of three shared a throwback picture of Wyatt and compared the snap to a current picture of Bennett.

“I just hit copy paste,” Kylie wrote over the picture of Bennett and Wyatt displaying the same beaming smiles. Kylie then shared the same snap alongside her daughter’s names to specify who was who.

In October, Kylie shared photos from Wyatt’s fourth birthday party, which featured a mermaid backdrop with colorful balloons and a board that read, “Wyatt Turns Four.”

Earlier this year, Jason opened up to PEOPLE about being a girl dad.

Taylor travelled Down Under for seven sell-out concerts across Melbourne and Sydney, which came to an end on Monday night, and she has a few days off before she will return to the stage in Singapore on March 2.

Her departure comes just hours after her father Scott Swift, 71, was accused of striking Ben McDonald, 51, at a ferry wharf in the suburb of Neutral Bay at about 2.30am on Tuesday, after the Australian leg of her Eras tour wrapped up.

Taylor’s team said the photographer ‘threatened to throw a female staff member into the water’.

Taylor and Scott had travelled from Homebush on a luxury superyacht called Quantum before the alleged assault.

Footage from the moments before the alleged altercation showed Scott walking up wharf while giving photographers the middle finger.

A spokeswoman for Taylor Swift told Daily Mail Australia the photographers were being ‘aggressive’.

‘Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water,’ she said.

However, Mr McDonald – the chief executive of Matrix Media Group – slammed the statement as ‘utter rubbish’ and said the only female at the scene was Taylor.

‘This is the sort of bulls**t I might expect,’ he said. ‘Which female was that? The only one there was Taylor.’

Mr McDonald said the altercation was caught on camera and did not show the photographers acting aggressively.

An investigation into the alleged incident has been launched by the North Shore Police Command.

The photographer previously accused Scott of ‘charging’ at him once he was off the superyacht with Taylor.

He originally thought it was a security guard and was shocked when he realised the alleged attacker was the pop star’s dad.

Mr McDonald also said he didn’t know what triggered the alleged assault.

‘In 23 years of taking pictures, I have never seen anything like it,’ he said.

‘She got off the boat, she walked towards security guards who were shoving umbrellas in our faces.’

Footage of the alleged incident showed Taylor and her father walking up from the wharf with large umbrellas blocking the view.

Mr McDonald started shooting when a security guard could be heard telling him not to touch the umbrella.

The camera jolted and there was movement from behind the umbrella.

A security guard could be heard saying, ‘that wasn’t me, that wasn’t me’.

Mr McDonald asked: ‘Who was that?’

He then went to The Rocks police station and reported the alleged incident.

Mr McDonald did not require medical attention and does not believe he will have lasting injuries, but has ‘very sore chops’ on the left side of his face.

Another insider speculates that if Taylor performs and the Chiefs win for the third year in a row, “it will be the biggest sports event ever broadcasted in America” and that watching figures could reach a record-breaking 140 million.

Hardcore NFL fans may squirm whenever the camera swings to the Anti-Hero phenomenon, but her impact on the league’s popularity cannot be underestimated. “Taylor’s relationship with Travis is probably the best gift ever made to the NFL,” a person who works as an NFL business consultant said, smiling.
