Travis and Taylor Swift had some big adventures over the weekend, with Kelce prompting some to speculate whether he’s looking for a side hustle as a bodyguard on top of his tight end duties with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fans haven’t missed Kelce’s chivalrous behavior with Swift, poring over footage of the duo on the streets of New York City, where Kelce appeared to step in front of one of Swift’s security guards to usher her into a waiting car.

For someone who has sparked years of rumors about whether she once left her own apartment zipped inside an enormous suitcase to avoid unwanted public attention, recruiting a 6-foot-five NFL player to run interference and provide good conversation almost feels quaint.

Keeping to his previous word that he’d keep his personal life mostly personal, Travis joked about the footage of his date night with Swift on Wednesday’s episode of New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce.

During the newest episode of his and brother Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, the retired NFL star finally gave fans more context on his musical background while answering one listener who wondered Jason plans to “pick [music] back up,” now that he’s retired.

“Jason’s never not been musically gifted,” Travis, 34, answered, while Jason, 36, interjected with the quip, “Pick it back up? What are you talking about? I’ve got two hot selling Christmas albums back-to-back years!”

“This guy is selling vinyls, what do you mean pick it back up?” Travis added.

But according to Jason, his musical roots go all the way back to sixth grade, when his school in Cleveland required every student to learn an instrument. He chose the saxophone, and ended up playing it all through high school. (Travis opted for the trumpet, but gave it up after it was no longer a school requirement.)

Jason also played in symphonic band in high school as well as the jazz ensemble, which he bragged was “pretty prestigious” at his high school.

“I tell people this all the time,” Jason went on to say. “I really think playing band and playing music in general has allowed me to excel in other things,” including even sports. “With band, in my opinion, if you want to learn the important and the value of practice, nothing will teach you that more clearer than an instrument.”

And clearly, Jason’s life lessons paid off in his football career, as he was able to play 13 seasons and even win a Super Bowl with the Eagles.

As for Travis, the Chiefs tight end still has more football to play—and he leaves the musical skills to girlfriend Taylor Swift.

“While I caппot fix what was said iп the past, I caп learп from it aпd do better iп the fυtυre.”

Jason interrupted his brother and asked how the couple were pictured as they walked around the zoo together.

Kelce continued: ‘There were full on helicopters just flying around.

‘They helicoptered us, well not us. This is all because Taylor is the biggest and the best thing possible.’

‘Taylor is very fond of performing in Australia because of the crowds over there and how into it they get.’

When Jason pointed out there were a number of Kelce jerseys in the crowd, Travis replied: ‘There were a few. There’s a good American football crowd out there and Taylor fans, I think they wanted to show support.

‘It’s pretty f***ing cool just having your jersey being worn, even if it is just on a day or at a football game.’

A different individual said she was ‘not ok’ after ‘Jaisn [sic] made a too well reference.’

The references didn’t stop there, with Kelce later saying in his speech: ‘If you go above and beyond for this city, you will be rewarded above your wildest dreams.’

‘Wildest Dreams,’ is one of Swift’s early-day hits and is included in her 2014 album, ‘1989,’ which was updated and released once more in October as ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version).’

Another pointed out that ‘Jason Kelce retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons and dropping ”All Too Well” and ”Wildest Dreams” in his retirement speech is so swiftie coded.’

‘So far, Jason Kelce has said “All Too Well” and “Wildest Dreams” in his retirement speech. I’m never, ever going to shut up about that,’ said someone else.

The six-time All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowl selection started 205 games for the Eagles, including the postseason.
