Tanika Ray, a former backup dancer for Sean “Diddy” Combs shared details of a distressing incident she encountered while working with him in the mid-1990s.

After seeing an interview where journalist Touré talked about his past connection with the music mogul on Joy Reid’s MSNBC show, Tanika, 52, decided to share a similar experience.

She recalled a time when she had enough rapport with the record label head to recommend a relative for an internship.

These allegations emerged following Homeland Security’s searches of Diddy’s residences in Miami and Los Angeles, linked to a potential sex trafficking inquiry.

Tanika revealed in the Instagram caption, “I just knew to avoid [Diddy] at all costs… Yes, I danced for him and kept my space. I interviewed him for his projects and kept my space. Nothing that is happening is surprising.”

When Touré appeared on Joy Reid’s show, he confidently stated about Diddy, “I have a close enough relationship with him to reach out and ask for a favor.” “It might have been 10 or 12 years ago that I called him and said, ‘Hey, I have a family member, and I want you to hire them as an intern.’ And he said, ‘Yes.’”

Prompted by a deep connection with Touré’s narrative, Tanika felt compelled to reshare a snippet of the video before delving into her personal story on Instagram, reflecting on her experiences while employed by Diddy. She reflected on the significance of personal narratives as the camera zoomed in on her face.

 

 

Tanika emphasized that only she had the authority to share the story involving Diddy before her “besties” would consider doing so. Feeling hesitant, she harbored concerns about stepping into the spotlight, anticipating a cycle of being ‘victimized’ if she decided to speak out.

She detailed in her post how, over time, she made a conscious effort to maintain a certain level of distance from Diddy despite the professional circumstances frequently placing her close to him.

Encouraging women to prioritize self-care, Tanika emphasized creating space for themselves and dedicating time to focus on their healing.

“Shame on all those men that let this continue,” she continued while acknowledging a critique she was likely to receive, “Shame on me maybe for prioritizing my mental health, some would say. But after working in a place that snatches souls… mine is intact and of the light. I saved myself.”

Travis Scott Insists Innocence: Rapper Claims He Was Not Responsible for Astroworld Festival Tragedy

Travis Scott, through his lawyers, asked to be removed from the Astroworld lawsuits, explaining that ensuring the safety and security at live events is “not the job of performing artists.”

Over two years since the 2021 edition of the Astroworld Festival killed 10 people in the tragic crowd crush, the lawsuits filed by the injured victims and families of the dead attendees have yet to have the answers to their lingering questions.

On Monday, Scott’s lawyers formally submitted a motion in which they argued that the rapper was not in charge and responsible for the event’s safety.

In the motion cited by Rolling Stone, Scott’s attorneys said, “performers are not expected to render special protection to the audience, nor to safeguard them from the rest of the crowd.”

Thus, the 32-year-old “SICKO MODE” rapper was unaware about the crowd crush happening during and after the concert.

“Like any other adrenaline-inducing diversion, music festivals must balance exhilaration with safety and security-but that balance is not the job of performing artists, even those involved in promoting and marketing performances,” Daniel Petrocelli, who is leading Scott’s attorneys, wrote. “Which only makes sense: Performing artists, even those who engage in certain promotional activities, have no inherent expertise or specialized knowledge in concert safety measures, venue security protocols, or site-design,” he added.

Per Billboard, Petrocelli also explained how Scott acted diligently to avoid claims of negligence and protected everyone by supporting festival organizers’ efforts to eliminate the risks.

The prominent litigator noted that the “sdp interlude” rapper agreed to remove rides and attractions from the site during the festival planning to ensure safety among the crowd.

In addition, Scott’s defendants noted that the performer ended his number as the team was told to do so.

Scott underwent a lengthy questioning during a civil deposition on September 18, 2023.

His representative, Ted Anastasiou, said at the time that the deposition was part of the typical legal procedure and reminded everyone of the Harris County grand jury’s ruling.

District Attorney Kim Ogg explained that “a tragedy isn’t always a crime, and not every death is a homicide” when they ruled Scott would not be criminally charged after the event.

However, the previous ruling did not make an impact on the ongoing civil lawsuits against Scott.

Litigation’s First Trial To Start

More details are expected to be released during the scheduled trial in the litigation set on May 6.

Prior to that, Scott maintained in the Monday motion that his involvement in planning was only in creative control and marketing.

Thus, he and his team were reportedly “neither responsible for nor involved in the approval of venue security, safety, or site layout decisions” that built the Astroworld Festival.

“[But] promoting and performing at a concert do not equate to the power to control a crowd or to design a venue safely. Basic tort principles prevent imposing liability on the Scott defendants for a tragedy arising from forces legally controlled by others,” Petrocelli went on.

After being entangled in Diddy’s S.e.x trafficking lawsuit, 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend, actress Daphne Joy, has spoken out against the “In da Club” rapper. She has accused 50 Cent of raping and physically abusing her, all while they share a son, Sire.

After 50 Cent denied the allegations, details of his past domestic violence case have come to light.

50 Cent Domestic Violence Case Details Resurfaced

According to Page Six, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to an incident in 2013 where Daphne Joy initially accused 50 Cent of domestic violence.

The said incident took place on Jun. 23, 2013, at a Toluca Lake, California condo where 50 Cent and his then-anonymous victim, now revealed to be Daphne Joy, got into an argument which prompted Joy to lock herself up with her child in the bedroom.

50 Cent, known as Curtis Jackson, was said to have kicked the door in and kicked Joy, leading to an injury.

Back then, Joe was listed as Jane Doe, but she came forward later on and revealed that she was the victim of 50 Cent’s malevolent rage. Details of the case revealed that authorities who responded to the scene found broken furniture and chandeliers throughout the property.

The closet was also ransacked, and a lamp and the television were also broken. 50 Cent was charged with five criminal counts – four for vandalism and one for domestic violence.

“Daphne Joy and Curtis Jackson have been together for a few years in an exclusive relationship,” Joy’s legal camp said in a statement at the time. “They had a child and now Daphne’s number one priority is to ensure both her and the baby’s safety during this difficult time. We also hope everyone will respect her and the baby’s privacy.”

The resurfaced details of 50 Cent’s abuse came to light after the rapper denied the actress’ allegations on Instagram.

According to a statement that 50 Cent gave to The Hollywood Reporter, the “In da Club” rapper described the accusations as “baseless.”

Lizzo has said “I quit” after facing public ridicule and humiliation following the scrutiny that came after sexual harassment lawsuits were filed against her. The Grammy-winning singer shared an emotional statement on Instagram stating her unfiltered thoughts.

In a statement she shared on Instagram, Lizzo said: “I’m getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the Internet,” Lizzo wrote on Instagram. “All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I’m starting to feel like the world doesn’t want me in it.”

Lizzo faced intense scrutiny and backlash after three of her former backup dancers filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her. Several other people who used to work with Lizzo have attested to alleged wrongdoings and cruel behavior behind the cameras.

“I’m constantly up against lies being told about me for clout & views… being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look… my character being picked apart by people who don’t know me and disrespecting my name. I didn’t sign up for this s- – I QUIT [peace out emoji].”

Lizzo’s big move and statement shocked many, considering that people on social media haven’t talked about her in the past few months.

 

 

Lizzo Denies Wrongdoings on Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

Since the allegations came to light, Lizzo has denied them all.

“I am not the villain that people and the media have portrayed me to be these last few days,” Lizzo wrote in a statement. “I am very open with my sexuality and expressing myself but I cannot accept or allow people to use that openness to make me out to be something I am not.”

Among the complaints in the scathing lawsuit was that she weight-shamed her former backup dancers, among many other scandalous claims.

“There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women worldwide,” Lizzo added. “I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis and would absolutely never criticize or terminate an employee because of their weight.

On March 18, Lizzo revealed on Instagram that she’s putting out new music soon as she’s “almost ready” to “be a normal human again… to be outside.. to love and trust people..” again.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been in hot water ever since the allegations of rape, S.e.xual harassment and abuse came to light lawsuits filed against him.

The rap mogul’s mansions in California and Florida were raided by Homeland Security on Monday as part of a S.e.x trafficking probe.

Diddy Seemingly Unbothered in First Public Outing

This was Diddy’s first public sighting since his mansions were raided on March 25 by Homeland Security.

Diddy, who has been the subject of numerous lawsuits alleging S.e.xual harassment, S.e.xual assault, rape, and abuse, appeared unbothered as he flashed a peace sign to the cameras. He was wearing a purple and black tracksuit while his girls wore coordinating black and gray sports bras, jackets, and leggings.

 

 

The outlet also revealed that Diddy was detained at the airport prior to heading to the Bahamas with the twins before the Miami and Los Angeles mansions were raided by Homeland Security. Diddy was captured pacing around, looking crestfallen in Miami.

Reportedly, Diddy’s two songs were put in handcuffs and questioned during the raid.

Diddy’s Downfall Caused by Opponents?

Former NYPD detective Derrick Parker, commonly known as Hip-Hop cop, told The New York Post his hunch that Sean “Diddy” Combs’ rivals may be behind his downfall.

“He has a very questionable past that he’s been able to control because of his power for a very long time,” he told the outlet. “But it looks to me like someone is behind this — someone who really wants to destroy his brand and take him down.”

Parker furthered that he believes that law enforcement has been given some “sensitive information” which led to the bicoastal raid on Diddy’s properties. Parker said Combs’ house raids and the arrest of his alleged drug mule looked “like the tip of the iceberg.”

Parker also added that Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s ex-wife, being paid off with an undisclosed sum after she sued the rap mogul for rape and physical abuse had a ripple effect on those he had wronged in the past.

All three ladies were together as they departed The Retreat At Split Rock which is located in Greenwich, Connecticut. The retreat specializes in expert upper and lower face lifts, which cost about $50,000 to $100,000 each as well as brow and eye lifts that hover around $30,000 each.

‘It is a private fully accredited surgical facility,’ notes the website.

They were specifically seen exiting Dr Neil A Gordon’s office. He oversees the facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. His specialty is ‘facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty,’ according to his site, but injectables such as Botox and Kybella are also offered. A full face of Botox can cost around $3,000 while Kybella is more expensive at $6,000.

The Los Angeles residents certainly traveled far to look into what Dr Gordon has to offer, and he must be the best in his field as Beverly Hills is chock-a-block with well-known plastic surgeons like Dr Garth Fisher and Dr Paul Nassif who could have done the work without the added travel expense.

All three ladies dressed casually for their trip which looked to be a case of ‘surgery tourism.’

Aniston, 55, had on a floppy black hat to hide her face as they left the white barn-style office with a lush green lawn surrounded by yellow daffodils. She was followed by Bullock, 59, and Anka, 55 – once a star on Buffy The Vampire Slayer – who both tried to keep their heads down.

Her husband Jason is best known for his Aniston movie Switch as well as his series Arrested Development and Ozark.

Aniston then said she liked peptide injections.

Peptides are strings of molecules called amino acids, which are the ‘building blocks’ of proteins. Peptides are basically short proteins that are about 2-100 amino acids long. Peptide supplements may have anti-aging, muscle growth, and fat loss benefits, according WebMD.

Bullock has also talked about surgery.

After she was seen with a fuller face at the 2018 Oscars, she told InStyle the next year she was puffy due to allergies.

She appeared makeup-free and her expression was stoic as she captured the photo inside the $26million she shares with husband Justin Bieber.

Hailey followed-up her bikini shot with a sultry photo of herself going braless under a chic powder blue blazer.

On Tuesday, Kanye sparked up controversy after he uploaded and then deleted an explosive rant on a new Instagram page that he made.

In it, the rapper, 46, dished out ‘f*** yous’ to many of his rivals, critics and naysayers — which included Hailey and the rapper Drake.

He began the post by thanking his fans for making his new single Carnival #1.

‘This number 1 is for you. The people who won’t be manipulated by the system,’ Kanye began, according to The Sun.

The father-of-four then shifted focus towards his nemeses.

Before getting to Hailey, Kanye blasted Adidas, who severed ties with him in 2022 over his repeated anti-Semitic rants.

‘And f**k Adidas and everyone who works there or with them. Anyone who goes to school with anyone whose parents work at Adidas, just know they tried to destroy me,’ he said.

Kanye then name-dropped Hailey as well as former Vogue bigwig Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who he publicly feuded with in October 2022 after she slammed him for sending a Yeezy model down the Paris Fashion Week runway in a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt.

He then began targeting Hailey on Instagram. He accused her of having a nose job and branded her ‘Drake’s girl’ despite her being married to Justin.

‘And f*** everybody at the fashion houses that sided with Gabby and Hailey Bieber. F*** each and every single one of yall,’ Kanye wrote Tuesday.

‘And f*** every Christian that watched me have my kids taken out of my control. That’s how I feel.’

He concluded his now-deleted rant by slamming Drake for ‘taking’ rapper Lil Durk on tour with him right as West rolled out his new album Vultures 1.

A source told the publication that both Hailey and her husband believe that Ye has crossed the line, with the latter deciding to stand by his wife.

Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs says he’s the victim of a ‘witch hunt’ and bemoans ‘military-level force’ used against him as he finally spoke out following the Monday double raid on his estates.

Aaron Dyer, an attorney for the rapper, broke Combs’ silence just over 24 hours after the Homeland Security investigation with a statement to DailyMail.com.

‘Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,’ Dyer said.

‘Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities,’ he added. ‘Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.’

Combs was seen speaking to customs agents at an airport 15 minutes from his Miami Beach Monday evening but never arrested.

Two of Diddy’s sons were detained as part of the raid. ‘There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,’ attorney Aaron Dyer said

‘This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,’ Dyer continued.

‘There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.’

The rapper, 54, has not been seen since homeland security agents descended on his properties in Miami and Los Angeles as part of their investigation into alleged s.e.x trafficking.

Sources told Page Six that Combs was planning to fly to the Bahamas to spend time with his 17-year-old twins, Jessie and D’Lila, when the agents swooped in on his properties.

They gathered evidence including a ‘number of’ electronic devices, ABC News reports. No criminal charges have been filed, and Diddy has denied all allegations of s.e.xual misconduct.

Flight data shows the rapper took off from the Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles at 9 am on Monday.

He was then spotted around 3 pm at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, just a few hours after the raids started.

However, information on the rapper’s personal LoveAir LLC Gulfstream 5 jet is no longer available on plane tracker service.

Diddy was last seen pacing around the customs office at the Miami airport, though he was not being detained in any fashion.

Meanwhile, two of his sons were detained at the scene of the Holmby Hills, California, home while the warrant was executed but released without charges.

Armed agents entered luxury properties on both East and West Coasts of the United States, with video footage showing helicopters circling overhead.

The agents, who were wearing vests, gathered in the home’s backyard near the pool.

Multiple officers were seen carrying bags and boxes of evidence to a van with assistance from police dogs.

There was no immediate official confirmation about what precipitated the raids, but Diddy is currently embroiled in several lawsuits accusing him of s.e.xual assault.

It comes just weeks after one of Diddy’s accusers was ordered to reveal her identity.

The rapper and music mogul has been fighting various legal battles, including one against an unnamed woman who claimed he and two friends s.e.xually assaulted her when she was 17.

After allegedly supplying the woman with ‘copious amounts of drugs and alcohol,’ Diddy and two pals are accused of taking turns violently raping the teen as she drifted in and out of consciousness, leaving her in so much pain that she could barely stand or remember how she got home, according to her complaint.

She says she suffered in silence for 20 years until the R&B singer Cassie sued Combs, her former mentor and ex-boyfriend, for allegedly subjecting her to savage beatings, drug-addled hotel orgies and rape.

Combs denied the claims in that case and the two sides reached an out-of-court settlement barely 24 hours after the suit was made public in November 2023.

After the flurry of subsequent allegations, Diddy tweeted out a new statement under the heading ‘Enough is enough.’

Combs is among the most influential hip-hop producers and executives of the past three decades.

Formerly known as Puff Daddy, he built one of hip-hop´s biggest empires, blazing a trail with several entities attached to his famous name.

Agents seen at Diddy’s Miami property as hip-hop mogul’s homes raided

While the woman’s identity has yet to be revealed in the lawsuit, a judge just ruled she would no longer be able to stay anonymous if the suit proceeds.

Diddy has filed a motion to have the woman’s case thrown out, and she will reportedly remain anonymous until the judge rules on that motion.

The accuser was the fourth woman to accuse Diddy of s.e.xual assault in quick succession last year after his ex, the singer Cassie, sued him in November 2023, with the two settling out of court.

Douglas Wigdor, an attorney for Cassie and another one of the Jane Does accusing Diddy, responded to the search in a statement to DailyMail.com

‘We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.’

Music producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones Jr., who worked with Combs on ‘The Love Album: Off the Grid,’ is among his accusers.

He filed a lawsuit against the rapper claiming he was ordered to recruit s.e.x workers and have s.e.x with them for the star’s pleasure, and has hundreds of hours of video documenting Combs’s ‘serious illegal activity’.
