The surprise royal vying for ‘most popular’ as Princess Kate crowned again

Princess Kate has emerged as the most popular royal yet again, according to a recent poll which saw the addition of one key royal.

The Princess of Wales was once again crowned the most popular member of the Royal Family, but there was another member of the Firm slowly climbing up the favourability ladder, a new poll has revealed.

Princess Kate continued to be the most admired royal among Britons this month, as 74 percent said they hold a positive view of her, with her husband Prince William coming a close second at 73 percent, according to the latest poll by YouGov.

King Charles came fourth, with a favourability score of 64 percent, surpassed by his older sister, Princess Anne, who snatched a 70 percent.

Overall, Charles’s popularity has remained consistent since the announcement regarding his health back in February.

But it was the tracker’s latest addition that held quite a significance as Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, was included in YouGov’s favourability tracker for the first time.

Duchess Sophie is the fifth most popular royal

According to the results, just over half of Britons (54 percent) have a favourable view of Sophie, who came fifth below King Charles – meaning she is surprisingly vying for the top spot despite only being included in the list for the first time.

The Duchess of Edinburgh recently became the first royal family member to visit Ukraine since Russia’s invasion and has become a more active royal since King Charles’ Coronation last year and his subsequent cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

The survey also included sisters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice for the first time.

The children of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are both viewed favourably by 37 percent of people, while a quarter (24-25 percent) hold a negative view of them.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain the least popular royal couple.

Of the two, Meghan Markle is viewed slightly less favourably than her husband, with 22 percent holding a positive view of her compared to 29 percent for Harry.

But the majority of the public view both royals unfavourably

Prince Andrew continues to be the least-liked royal, with only six percent holding a positive opinion of him, while nearly nine in 10 (86 percent) view him negatively.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Archewell found ‘delinquent’ and told to stop fundraising

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charity Archewell has been declared “delinquent” and must halt any fundraising, according to an official letter.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s American charity foundation has been declared delinquent and instructed to halt all fundraising and expenditures.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell has allowed its registration fees to lapse since early May, according to an official letter from California’s attorney general, Rob Bonta.

    Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

According to the document, the charity has been categorised as “delinquent” in the registry of charities and fundraisers due to its failure to submit both its annual report and registration fees.

The notice further explains that an organisation marked as such is considered not in good standing and is thereby restricted from undertaking activities requiring registration, such as soliciting or distributing charitable funds.

The note adds: “An organisation that is listed as delinquent is not in good standing and is prohibited from engaging in conduct for which registration is required, including soliciting or disbursing charitable funds.

However, a source told the Express Archewell officials filed their paperwork on time and that they hope to resolve the issue in the coming days.

“The organisation may also be subject to penalties, and its registration may be suspended or revoked by the Registry.”

Archewell now has to submit records to show why its payment is late and pay late fees.

According to reports in the US, the foundation has filed for an extension. However, California’s official registry continued to show Archewell as delinquent last night.

After relinquishing their senior royal duties, the couple established their foundation upon relocating to the US in March 2020.

The foundation encompasses not only its non-profit charitable foundation but also for-profit ventures in media production, namely Archewell Audio and Archewell Productions.

The delinquency note comes five months after it was revealed that the Archewell Foundation suffered a significant £8.7 million revenue drop within a year.

A source told Express.co.uk that Archewell officials filed its paperwork on time, including a cheque. The insider said: “For whatever reason, it has not been cashed.

“As soon as the foundation learnt of the problem, they immediately issued another cheque. Harry and Meghan’s team hope this will quickly resolve the issue within the next week.”

Kate heartbroken as William spotted having dinner with mistress Rose Hanbury Amid cheating rumours

As you most likely are aware, the Prince hosted the Trump organization at Buckingham Palace the previous evening, following a day of joint English and American activities.

Prince William and Katherine were there as well. Welcome viewers to my channel.

There was another guest present, however, with connections to House Cambridge—or rather, disavowed—who everybody is discussing.

That would be Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley. She is right here, making her entry basically toward the far end. Rose is married to David Cholmondeley, the Marquess of Cholmondeley, who is also the Lord Great Chamberlain. These people and their titles are why they were there, as the Lord Great Chamberlain is expected at state events.

Did you know that before he took over as the Marquess, David was known as David Rocksavage? I suppose that’s the trade-off for the title and all the money and influence: you have to give up your cooler name and take on the significant but less impressive-sounding title. That’s how Cholmondeley is pronounced, by the way.

As we know, Kate and Rose hung out among the “turnip toffs” in Norfolk and were known to be close until sometime last year when they reportedly had a falling out. The Sun broke the story in March, and we’ve been discussing it ever since, although information about what exactly caused their split has been scarce, leading to all kinds of wild speculation. Was it because Kate’s garden was superior to Rose’s? Was it because Rose took Kate’s nanny? Was it an affair? It’s the “Big Little Lies” of the English countryside.

Evidently, there was no interaction between Kate and Rose last night. I hear they sat across from each other and would have been in each other’s direct eyeline. Thus, following a few weeks of quiet with the Cambridges hoping this interest would die down, all of us are pondering again about the end of their friendship and why.

The woman walking in next to Rose looks like Sarah Vine, a reporter for the Daily Mail. Assuming it is indeed Sarah Vine, here’s an example of some of the articles that Sarah Vine has written for the Daily Mail. The word choice in the title of her articles is quite deliberate, as you might expect. For instance, Sarah Vine wrote a reasonably kind article about Meghan Markle last month after she and Harry introduced Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to the world. However, she was criticized back in 2015 for being nasty and cruel about Princess Kate’s appearance when she was photographed out shopping just before Christmas. And generally speaking, where the Daily Mail is concerned, it’s no secret how gross their coverage can be.

Curiously, Princess Kate’s former BFF is now entering the state banquet with someone who appears to be one of the Daily Mail’s regular contributors. Coincidence or something more?

OMG! King Charles Just Announced Princess Catherine’s REPLACEMENT As His Daughter Battles Cancer

OMG! King Charles Just Announced Princess Catherine’s REPLACEMENT As His Daughter Battles Cancer

“Even though she is not a working Royal, it has been speculated that Princess Beatrice could step up and do more for the firm.

Beatrice’s increased presence at Royal engagements is both timely and significant. This week has seen the King return to public-facing duties, but the Monarch is yet to actually return to a full roster of engagements.

Meanwhile, Princess Katherine’s health crisis has revealed just how dependent Buckingham Palace is on her, making the nation swoon over royalty and highlighting how reliant their brand has become on her charm and the mythical quality she brings.

Observed Royal expert Daniela Elser, ‘With the Princess gone at least for a bit, the Palace now finds itself in some dire straits.’ With the Princess of Wales continuing her recovery at home and His Majesty recently resuming light duties amid his own health treatments, the King is expected to give his niece, Princess Beatrice, a more prominent role in the Royal family this summer, adding support during a particularly busy period for the monarchy.

At 35, Beatrice, who is traditionally considered a non-working Royal, is expected to grace several key events alongside her family. Notably, she may be accompanying the King during the Japanese State visit next month, marking a prominent moment in her Royal engagements this year. According to the outlet, the King also wants to bring Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, for more events, something the princess is reportedly looking forward to. King Charles himself is reportedly looking to invigorate the monarchy with fresh faces.

Back in 2012, she assisted her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, with handing out Maundy money for the Royal Maundy Thursday service before Easter Sunday. Beatrice attended at the invitation of the Queen, meaning she was there as a non-working Royal but was still able to take part in the Royal ceremony. Also out this week, work statistics show that Princess Anne has single-handedly carried out one-third of the entire total engagements this year so far. Of the 18 that have been held this year, Prince William has done three, Anne has done 15, and the King zero.

Another insider says Charles is very aware that his slimmed-down monarchy is getting positively skeletal. He’s heavily reliant on Anne and Edinburgh. June is shaping up to be a busy month for the Royals with the D-Day 80th anniversary celebration, Trooping the Colour, Garter Day, a state banquet, and several Buckingham Palace garden parties. It appears that both of Prince Andrew’s daughters are prepared to step in and assist where necessary, continuing their discreet support of the monarchy’s endeavors.

Her presence at these engagements while maintaining her status as a non-working Royal underscores her commitment to the family legacy and public duties. The public has expressed a longing for the traditional Royal glamour, a gap that Beatrice is eager to fill. Over the years, she has transformed from a shy figure into one of ambition and confidence, often praised for her increasingly polished and fashionable appearance. This evolution is reflective of her readiness to embrace a more prominent role within the Royal framework.

Further underscoring the need for Beatrice’s increased visibility, the outlet ascertains that they’ve got a busy diary coming up and they need to widen the family at social events. Beatrice and Eugenie are adding support where they can. Currently splitting her time between New York, where she works for a startup firm, and her home in the Cotswolds adjacent to the Blenheim Palace estate, Beatrice’s life is a blend of professional endeavors and Royal responsibilities.

As she prepares to stand in support of her family during this pivotal summer, her role as a bridge between the traditional and the contemporary could not be more crucial. With such a dynamic and challenging season ahead, the Royal family, under King Charles’s guidance, is set to showcase unity and resilience, with Princess Beatrice shining brightly as a key figure of this new chapter.

The Duchess of Sussex is in the country with Prince Harry ― both for the very first time ― for a three-day trip.

The royals’ first stop was the capital city of Abuja, where they met with kids at the Lightway Academy. The school was holding a mental health summit, in partnership with the GEANCO Foundation, when Meghan talked about a heartwarming parenting moment she shared with her youngest child.

“We all have our story. And there’s no shame in any single one of your stories,” the former Suits actor said, after the Duke of Sussex spoke about the importance of mental health. “Even on the hardest days or darkest days, everything is a pillar of your strength by each of you being there.”

“Your teachers see that in you,” the duchess said. “And we see that in you. And interestingly, so is our daughter, Lili. She’s much, much tinier than you guys,” she added.

“She’s about to turn 3. And a few weeks ago she looked at me and she would just see the reflection in my eyes. And she [said], ‘Mama, I see me in you,’” Meghan recalled, adding that her daughter was speaking “literally.”

“But I hung on to those words in a very different way,” said the American Riviera Orchard founder. “And I thought, ‘Yes, I do see me and you, and you see me and you.’ But as I look around this room, I see myself in all of you as well.”

During the Sussexes’ school visit, they also spoke about their son, Prince Archie, who turned 5 years old Monday. Meghan said that their eldest is interested in construction, while Lili is interested in her singing and dancing class.

  • William First Gives Latest Update on Catherine’s Health After Three Months Of Treatment

William First Gives Latest Update on Catherine’s Health After Three Months Of Treatment

William First Gives Latest Update on Catherine’s Health After Three Months Of Treatment

Prince William has shared an update on Princess Catherine’s health status after more than three months of treatment at their home in Adelaide Cottage.

During an extended Royal Duty trip in Cornwall, the Prince of Wales visited the site of a new housing project for homeless people in Newquay, which was announced earlier this year.

This is William’s first long-term business trip since Katherine was diagnosed with cancer. For his outing on Thursday, William sported a crisp navy suit with a pale blue button-down shirt.

He smiled widely as he met with coordinators of the innovative housing project.

Princess Katherine and Prince William inherited the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cornwall in September 2022 following the death of Queen Elizabeth. Thursday marked the first time William has visited Cornwall since taking on the new role. In a rare public statement, the Prince of Wales provided reassurance regarding the Princess of Wales’s well-being, indicating that her health is steadily improving following her prolonged period of treatment. ‘May I ask how Princess Kate is doing?’ the project administrator asked in a video shared by Sky News. ‘She’s doing well, thank you,’ Prince William replied. ‘Lovely, and the children as well?’ Smith asked. ‘The children are very jealous that I’m here and that they’re not here as well,’ the prince admitted.

Princess Katherine has been under medical care at Adelaide Cottage since early this year, necessitating a break from public engagements and Royal duties. The nature of her condition has not been disclosed in line with the couple’s desire for privacy regarding personal health matters. Prince William’s disclosure came during a visit to Cornwall as part of his ongoing Royal engagements. Royal fans also believe his time away from his family, especially an overnight stay away from home, can only mean Kate is in good hands and is making progress in her treatment.

In addition, according to a royal expert, Princess Katherine’s recovery appears to be on track as she continues with her treatment and recuperation at home in Windsor following her cancer diagnosis in March. Since the start of the year, Prince William has modified his diary to help support his wife, the Princess of Wales, and their three young children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis. In a telling sign that Princess Katherine is making progress with her health, Kensington Palace recently confirmed Prince William will engage in two public engagements which will see him leave Windsor for one night.

Along with visiting Newquay, William is set to spend his first night away from London amid Katherine’s recovery, traveling to the Isles of Scilly on Friday. Wearing a pair of stylish sunglasses to protect his eyes from the Cornish sun, the prince paired a brown blazer with matching brogues and his favorite navy chino trousers as he made his way along the water’s edge. On May 10th, the Prince of Wales will travel to the Isles of Scilly to St. Mary’s Harbor, which is run by the Duchy and handles passengers and vessels. He will spend time with harbor operators before paying a visit to St. Mary’s Community Hospital.

The Princess of Wales revealed in March that she’d been diagnosed with cancer after being hospitalized for an abdominal surgery several months prior. Her last official Royal Engagement was in December 2023. Throughout Katherine’s health woes, William briefly took a step back from his own duties. Adelaide Cottage, located within the grounds of Windsor Castle, allows them the space and tranquility needed for Catherine’s recovery. The Royal couple’s dedication to maintaining a semblance of normalcy amidst health challenges reflects their commitment to duty and family.

Throughout Catherine’s treatment, Prince William has continued to fulfill his Royal responsibilities while also ensuring he is present to support his wife during her recovery journey. As the Duchess continues her recuperation, the royal family and well-wishers alike remain hopeful for her swift and complete recovery. While the specific timeline for the Princess of Wales’s return to public engagements remains uncertain, the latest update from Prince William provides a reassuring glimpse into her progress and the positive direction of her recovery journey.”

There are many famous doppelgangers around the world and it seems that Kate Middleton of the British Royal Family has got one of her own.

The Princess of Wales, who is suffering from cancer, has been in the spotlight during a period in which she disappeared from the public eye before announcing her illness.

The rumor mill grew to such an extent that Middleton’s photograph was the most sought-after in the media.

In an image that went around the world, suspicions that the person photographed was not Kate Middleton were evident. It was later discovered that she was actually Gabriela Munro Douglas.

This British woman works for a stunt agency where she is paid over a thousand euros for a day’s work.
This lookalike became famous after her time on the ‘X Factor’ and, since then, she has been going to events wearing the same outfits as Kate Middleton, starring in advertising campaigns and even being asked for photos in the street.

A TV show titled ‘Fiesta’ focused on this doppelganger, with Concha Calleja sharing her thoughts.

Concha Calleja: This is not for her to replace Kate Middleton in official events
“There is no official record or confirmation that she has been hired by the Palace for these things. Everything we say is unofficial. She started working for an agency in 2011 because she looks like Kate. She started doing more serious things in 2014 when she toured Australia at the same time as Kate and William,” said Concha Calleja.

The ‘Fiesta’ contributor pointed out that “this is not for her to replace Kate at official events”, but rather for “Kate and William to rest at official events when there are rehearsals, in case they have to do some shots, and so on”.

Princess Beatrice is being tipped to step up for Princess Kate in a big royal shake-up, royal sources have claimed.

Beatrice, 35, is expected to play a more prominent public role for the Royal Family this summer amid the Princess of Wales’s continued absence.

Buckingham Palace is still considering how best to deploy Beatrice, but she is expected to accompany the King to one key event, possibly the Japanese state visit next month.

The mother-of-one is a non-working royal and, while the King does not want to change that, he needs help to deal with the current shortage of working royals.

The King has only just returned to light working duties as he continues his cancer treatment, while Kate is recovering at home after her cancer diagnosis.

The royal calendar is full this summer, with events including Trooping the Colour, a state banquet, Garter Day, the 80th D-Day anniversary and several Buckingham Palace garden parties.

But working members of the Royal Family are in short supply.

A source told the Mail the King wants the cast list for such events to include Beatrice as well as occasionally her sister, Princess Eugenie, also a non-working royal.

Commenting on the royal duo’s recent three-day visit to Nigeria, the Duke of Sussex was “reluctant” to let go of his wife’s hand during the third day of their tour.

The Duke, 39, and Duchess, 42, walked hand-in-hand as they arrived at the State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s house where they were guests of honour on May 12.

Body language expert, Judi James, told the Daily Mail the royal couple appear uneasy when apart: “There’s something almost parent-childlike about this body language as Harry and Meghan perform small dance-like rituals to avoid letting go of each other’s hands, even for a second.”

She added: “They seem to want to cling together for affection and to have a tactile link to create tie-signs i.e. small steering touches or moments of reassurance while they are out appearing in public.”

Meghan and Harry “cling together for affection” claims expert

Meghan kept her word to ditch her monochrome styling for bright colours and honour her Nigerian roots as she donned a stunning yellow canary dress in Lagos – she also wore the dress in 2021 when she announced her pregnancy with Princess Lilibet.

Commenting further on their body language, Judi explained: “Their hands are clasped as they arrive and Harry seems to tap the clasp against his thigh as though wanting to reassure himself.”

Judi also said the Duke of Sussex is in “desperate need” of touch as he quickly wants to re-grab Meghan’s hand when it is out of his grasp.

The couple who have been visiting Nigeria together for the first time, are promoting the Invictus Games and the visit comes after Harry met the Nigerian team and General Musa at last year’s competition in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Meghan has sported a variety of colorful outfits on the tour, and earlier explained: “It has been a whirlwind 24 hours since we arrived, and I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more colour so I can fit in with all of you in your incredible fashion.”

The couple were in Nigeria this weekend to promote their work with the Invictus Games.

Last year, Nigeria became the first African country to take part in the Invictus Games, a sporting competition for wounded military personnel and veterans, co-founded by Prince Harry in 2014.

On the first day of the mini-tour on Friday, Harry spoke about the joy the Nigeria team brought to the games in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Before arriving in the country, Prince Harry visited London as part of celebrations for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, and attended a service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral.

Harry had last been in the UK in February this year, to briefly visit his father, King Charles, after he was diagnosed with cancer.
