Twist in ‘royal racism’ row as Meghan Markle could be quizzed under oath about ‘Archie’s skin colour’ claim

Omid Scobie identified the King and Princess Kate as those alleged to have asked Meghan and Harry what colour Archie’s skin might be

THE Duchess of Sussex could be questioned under oath about the identity of the so-called “royal racists”.

Lawyers want to quiz Meghan over “family matters” as part of sister Samantha Markle’s libel action against her in the US.

And Peter Ticktin, for Samantha, said the Royal Family racism accusations “need to be explored”.

In the Dutch translation of his book Endgame, writer Omid Scobie identified King Charles and Princess Kate as those alleged to have asked Meghan and Prince Harry what colour their son Archie’s skin might be.

Samantha claims she has been subjected to “worldwide hatred, contempt, and ridicule” as a result of Meghan and Harry’s comments in their Netflix series and in the 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Her lawsuit alleges Meghan’s claim she grew up an only child and half-sister Samantha only changed her name back to Markle after she began dating Prince Harry made her look like a “liar for profit and fame”.

Samantha’s Florida-based lawyer Mr Ticktin told The Sun on Sunday he will demand the Sussexes submit to a deposition — a formal interview under oath as part of a US lawsuit.

Mr Ticktin said: “The royal racists issue needs to be explored.

“There’s reasons why she abandoned her family and turned on her family.

“This is a person who wants to be able to say horrible things and not really care if she destroyed the lives of people in her family

“She doesn’t care if she destroys the monarchy.”

Mr Ticktin said Meghan’s lawyers were “stonewalling” their requests for information in the case in the hope that a judge would dismiss it.

But he said he will file a motion with the court next month demanding they hand documents over.

Meghan and Harry were approached for comment.

It gives royal fans a sneak peek of rehearsals for the Westminster Abbey ceremony in May.

At one rehearsal, Charles is seen bending over to hug and kiss Prince George and Prince Louis.

Louis is dressed in a blazer and smart shorts for the rehearsal, while Prince George wears a suit.

The King also embraces Princess Charlotte, who curtseys in homage to him and wears a pale blue patterned dress with a white cardigan.

Charles also laughed as he and Prince William practised the kiss of homage, a key part of the Coronation ceremony.

Bishop of Hereford Richard Jackson told the Telegraph: “I think what struck me particularly was how extraordinarily affectionate they are.

“They’re clearly a very close family, all the generations.

“In a sense you felt you’re part of a family occasion as well as a royal occasion and a national occasion.”

It comes after Prince Harry accused Charles of “never giving hugs” in his memoir Spare.

Harry wrote: “The older generation maintained a nearly zero-tolerance prohibition on all physical contact.

“No hugs, no kisses, no pats. Now and then, maybe a light touching of cheeks – on special occasions.

“No matter how much you might love someone, you could never cross that chasm between, say, monarch and child. Or Heir and Spare.”

Buckingham Palace and Prince Harry’s Archewell foundation have been contacted for comment.

Yesterday Princess Kate and her family followed King Charles into a Christmas service – with the shamed Prince Andrew hanging awkwardly to one side.

PRINCE William’s “awful” gift for Princess Kate has been revealed, and “she’ll never let him forget it”.

Kate Middleton has undoubtedly been treated to some incredible gifts over the years from her husband, but one present in particular did not go down too well.

There’s no doubt that the Prince of Wales picked out something special for Kate this festive season.

But William said that he once got Kate a present she would “never let him forget”, with the bizarre gift leaving his wife completely baffled.

Whilst making an appearance on former England striker Peter Crouch’s podcast on BBC Radio Five Live, Wills sheepishly admitted that he previously gave Kate “a pair of binoculars”.

After Peter confessed to giving his own wife Abbey Clancy a raincoat for her birthday three years in a row, a chuckling William said: “I did get my wife a pair of binoculars once – she’s never let me forget that.

“That was early on in the courtship that was – I think that sealed the deal.

“It didn’t go well. Honestly, I have no idea why I bought her a pair of binoculars, it seemed like a good idea at the time.”

It’s well known that members of the royal family prefer gifting one another light-hearted joke presents instead of expensive presents at Christmas time.

They also follow some unique traditions which include exchanging presents on Christmas Eve.

Some of the more memorable gifts exchanged over the years have included a bath hat given to the late Queen by her grandson Prince Harry that read: “Ain’t life a b*tch”.

Meanwhile Kate made a witty quip to her brother-in-law Harry one Christmas when she handed him a “grow-your-own-girlfriend kit” – after he’d made headlines with a string of high-profile romances.

It comes as royal fans spotted the adorable moment Prince George sweetly corrected Prince William as they practised for the Coronation in newly-released scenes.

In a new BBC documentary, the 10-year-old prince joined his parents and siblings at Westminster Abbey and they went through plans for King Charles’s May ceremony.

The fly-on-the-wall doc aired on BBC One on Tuesday (Boxing Day).

Fans also spotted the heartwarming moment an “affectionate” King Charles kisses Prince Louis, five, – after Prince Harry claimed he “never gives hugs”.

During the rehearsal, Charles is seen bending over to hug and kiss Prince George and Prince Louis.

The King also embraces Princess Charlotte, eight, who curtseys in homage to him and wears a pale blue patterned dress with a white cardigan.

Tom also claimed Meghan is ‘desperate for an endorsement from Dior’

MEGHAN Markle “wants to be the Queen” and “Kate Middleton has everything she wants”, according to a royal author.

Tom Bower claimed that the Princess of Wales is proving highly successful in her new role, which is what the Duchess of Sussex wanted for herself.

Speaking to Closer, Tom claimed: “Kate is glowing, Kate is successful, Kate is popular – everything that Meghan wanted.

“Meghan wants to be the Queen – and she doesn’t want to be five in the succession [with Harry].”

The royal author claims that after Meghan married Prince Harry and joined the royal family she only wanted to do things “her way”.

He added: “There’s only one way and that’s the royal way.”

Since stepping down as senior royals in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been carving out a life for themselves in California with their two kids, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two.

In order to become “financially independent”, the couple have signed some lucrative deals – one with Netflix rumoured to be worth £100m and another with Spotify believed to be worth about £30m, which has since ended.

But Tom claims Meghan has “undermined her status” and she is fighting a losing battle.

He said: “Meghan could never trump Kate – absolutely not at all.

“Everything she tries undermines her status and instead of going back to the privacy she said she needed – and why she had to leave Britain – every time she steps out into the spotlight, she loses a bit more. She just cannot win.”

Tom also claimed Meghan is ”desperate for an endorsement from Dior” and is “disappointed she hasn’t had one contract.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are hoping for a “year of redemption” after a tough 2023, sources have claimed.

The couple were slammed for their whiny Netflix documentary” and Harry’s “whiny biography” and donations to their Archewell Foundation dropped almost £9million in a year.

Meanwhile, the couple’s various attacks on the Royal Family and their own waning popularity have already resulted in a string of woes.

But the pair are looking at a fresh start for 2024 – with rumours Meg may get back into acting.

A source told US Weekly: “Harry and Meghan think 2024 will be the year of redemption’ – with Meghan apparently turning down offers of work left, right and centre and Harry also in ‘extremely high demand’.

And Meg has enlisted Beverly Hills talent agency William Morris Endeavour ahead of her long-planned relaunch in the New Year.

The source added: “They’ve actually been shocked by how popular she is. Her team has never seen anything like it.”

They claim she is being approached about everything from film roles to multimillion-dollar endorsement deals with major brands. It comes after the duchess appeared in a playful Instagram ad for a coffee company, a firm she holds shares in.

  • Secrets behind Kate Middleton’s New Year glow – from a two-week fake tan to trampolining before the school run

Secrets behind Kate Middleton’s New Year glow – from a two-week fake tan to trampolining before the school run

Making the most of your beauty sleep is vital for glowing skin when your schedule is as busy as the Princess of Wales’

AS everyone gets geared up for a New Year glow-up, Kate Middleton is keeping things the same as 2023.

The 41-year-old Princess of Wales has an arsenal of beauty and wellness tricks to help her glow from within.

The Princess of Wales has a complexion that never fails to glow

Among these is using a face mask made from bee venom, bouncing on the trampoline before the school run and favouring a fake tan that lasts for two weeks at a time.

Here, Fabulous breaks down how you can achieve the royal mum-of-three’s glow this year.

    Pre-school Trampoline Sessions

Kate revealed in a chat with the England Rugby team that she bounces on the trampoline with Prince George, ten, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, to get a cardio-induced glow.

“Whenever I can squeeze in exercise, I do,” she said. “Even jumping on the trampoline with my children before school.”

Jumping up and down on a trampoline will improve your cardiovascular health by repeatedly working your heart and pumping blood throughout your body.

You’ll get the glow from looking after your heart, enhancing your muscle definition and the stress-reducing hormones produced through exercise.

    Bee Venom Face Mask

According to Vanity Fair, one product Kate favours above most is Heaven’s by Deborah Mitchell’s Silver Bee Venom Mask.

It contains Abeetoxin, the venom of a work bee which is harvested from beehives.

The product has gained worldwide kudos and been hailed as a natural alternative to Botox thanks to its ability to tighten the skin and firm up facial muscles.

A 60ml pot of the face mask will set you back £89 full-price, but it’s currently reduced to £60 on the Heaven website.

    Wild Child

Kate doesn’t just love jumping on the trampoline to get her heart rate up – she’s a huge fan of wild swimming in freezing water.

I will go and seek out cold water. I love it. The colder, the better.

    Kate Middleton
“Cold swimming – the colder, the better,” she revealed on a podcast with fellow-royal Mike Tindall. “I will go and seek out cold water. I love it.”

Known as cold water therapy, plunging your body in cold baths, seas or lakes has anti-ageing benefits as it can tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of pores.

It’s also been proven to help reduce inflammation and puffiness, which can be especially beneficial if you suffer with sensitive or acne-prone skin.

    Two-week Tan

We all know the pain of putting a fresh coat of fake tan on, only for it to fade unevenly in the shower and leave behind a patchy pattern.

According to royal experts, the Princess of Wales can’t relate as she’s privy to a fake tan that lasts two weeks.

For her royal wedding day, the royal bride reportedly used the Xen-Tan Instant Bronzing Mist to achieve her natural look.

The £26.99 product is said to last two weeks with two applications and produces the appearance of an olive undertone, making your bronzy glow look natural.

    Two Smoothies a Day

Being a working royal and mum-of-three is thirsty work, so Kate keeps her body and skin nourished with two smoothies a day.

According to previous reports, she starts her day with a vitamin boost by whizzing up a smoothie – and then has another one in the afternoon.

“She drinks smoothies morning and afternoon, containing spirulina, kale, matcha (a finely ground green tea powder), spinach, romaine, cilantro and blueberries,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Spirulina is particularly key to making your skin glow, as it gently detoxifies and encourages cell renewal from inside the body for a bright complexion.

    Fishy Business

It’s no secret that the omega-3 fats in fish reduce inflammation and acne, naturally aiding a brighter complexion.

Prince William once revealed how Kate loves Sushi, indicating that fish is a big part of her gut-to-glow pipeline.

My wife and I love sushi. We might have to come down here for lunch when there’s no one else down.

    Prince William

Fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel, and herring, are great diet choices if you’re trying to achieve a glowing complexion in 2024.

As they’re rich sources of omega-3 fatty acids, they’ll help keep skin bouncy and moisturised.

    Sleeping Beauty

When your schedule is as busy as Kate’s, making the most of your beauty sleep is vital for maintaining glowing skin.

She is known to make her skincare products work overtime when she’s catching Zs by lathering up in elixirs.

Insiders claim that the Beuti Skincare Beauty Sleep Elixir is her go-to, and she keeps a stash of bottles on her nightstand.

The £47 product contains 14 plant-based oils that slow down the enzyme responsible for ageing and prevent the breakdown of collagen, the protein in our skin that stops it from sagging.

Collagen gives skin a plump appearance but starts deteriorating in our mid-20s, so Kate is beating the natural ageing process by delaying how quickly it breaks down.

  • How Princess Kate and lookalike Danish royal pal Mary bonded over bitter sister-in-law feuds and shared glam style

How Princess Kate and lookalike Danish royal pal Mary bonded over bitter sister-in-law feuds and shared glam style

Before Kate’s wedding to William in 2011, fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld remarked: ‘Kate is like a younger sister to Mary’

SHE is often compared to royal lookalike the Princess of Wales – but Princess Mary of Denmark shares more with pal Kate than her graceful style and glossy brunette locks.

The friends and future Queens have been thrust into bitter family spats with rival sisters-in-law who married the “spare” and moved to the US.

And both are so-called “commoners” set to become among the most senior royals in their own countries.

On New Year’s Eve, it was announced that Mary, 51, will this month become Queen of Denmark and her husband, 55, will be King Frederick X after his mother Margrethe II, 83, announced her surprise abdication.

It is a fairytale rise for the Aussie-born law graduate, who married into the Danish royal family after meeting her heir to the throne in a bar during the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

And while the British Royal Family has been rocked by Megxit and dirty laundry aired by Harry and Meghan from their California exile, Mary has been through a similar roller-coaster.

Like Harry and Wills, Danish brothers Frederik and Joachim, 54, have been locked in an increasingly sour dispute since childhood, with the younger royal moaning that the future King got preferential treatment.

Sounds familiar? That’s not the half of it.

Mary had already married Frederik in 2004 — they shared a kiss on a royal palace balcony and she showed off her newborns on the steps of a hospital — four years before Joachim wed Frenchwoman Marie Cavallier, now 47.

‘Change can be difficult and really hurt’

It was hoped the two glamorous sisters-in-law would become close friends, but eyebrows were raised as the rival houses held engagements that clashed — and the two princesses wore near-identical clothing.

It was claimed that there was a “serious war” within the family as Marie grew “jealous” of mum-of-four Mary’s guarantee of becoming Queen.

Royal insiders claimed that Princess Marie had reportedly complained about being made to play second fiddle, and there were rumours behind palace walls of jealousy towards her sister-in-law.

It did not take long for Princess Marie to begin publically griping, after she and Prince Joachim — who, like Harry, is a former army officer — moved to Paris in 2019, where he trained at the Ecole Militaire.

Just as Meghan used televised interviews to air her grievances with the royal family, Marie told a glossy Danish magazine that the couple’s decision to stay in France was not entirely theirs.

She said in July 2020: “It’s not always us who decide. I think that’s important to know.”

The comments were widely compared to Meghan when she complained during her South Africa tour that no one in the royal family had asked if she was coping.

It was the same month that Joachim suffered a life-threatening health scare when doctors found a blood clot on his brain.

While Frederik visited his brother, Mary did not — sparking more accusations of a family fall-out.

And tensions became increasingly strained when, in 2022, it was suggested Queen Margrethe II had “punished” Joachim and Marie by stripping their children of their titles.

Although the royal couple keep theirs, in a shock move Joachim’s children from a previous marriage, Prince Nikolai, 24, and Prince Felix, 21, were downgraded to lowly Counts.

Prince Joachim and Princess Marie’s two children, Henrick, 14, and Athena, 11, were stripped of their prince and princess titles and made Count and Countess.

Queen Margrethe II, who apparently once had a 60-a-day cigarette habit, said she made the move to “future-proof” the Danish monarchy.

But the decision isolated Joachim and Marie’s family, and elevated Danish royal power into Mary and Frederik’s line of succession.

The Queen said of her decision: “I could mention some things, but you shouldn’t have to tell everything.

“But it is still a little bit too private to talk about.”

Prince Joachim and Princess Marie’s response was to hit back in the media and spark a royal war of words, alleging they were “blindsided” by the move.

They even said that Athena, then ten, was bullied at school as a result of the decision — with comments that were taken to be a veiled attack on Mary, who had spent a decade advocating anti-bullying campaigns.

In an interview, Marie said: “They would come and say [to Athena], ‘Is it you who is no longer a princess?’.

“The children were publicly exhibited. At very short notice. This means that we, as parents, have not had time to prepare them for the change and people’s reactions.”

Many believed it had similarities to Meghan, who moaned in her Oprah Winfrey TV interview that the royal family went against protocol when they decided not to give Archie the title of prince — something constitutional experts dispute.

Archie and Lilibet were eventually named prince and princess last year.

Furious Prince Joachim also hit out at the move involving his children, saying it had “punished” them.

He claimed he was only told the news five days before it was made public, despite the Danish royal household insisting the decision had “been a long time coming”.

But Princess Mary backed the Queen’s decision, saying: “Change can be extremely difficult and can really hurt.

“I think most people have tried it. But this does not mean the decision is not the right one.”

In a move similar to Megxit, in September the Danish royal family announced Prince Joachim was to start a new job in Washington D.C as a defence attache, moving there with Princess Marie and their children.

While the situation is not quite as extreme as Harry and Meghan’s, the US-based Danish royals have complained that none of the royal family are now speaking to them.

Similarly, William and Harry have barely talked for the past four years, while Kate and Meghan have not been “in direct communication” for the same period of time.

As the wars of words rage on, Kate and Mary may find solace in their friendship.

It is thought the pair first met during the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s visit to Denmark in 2011.

    ‘Hard work, loyalty and style’

The princesses wore similarly elegant styles for a joint Unicef engagement and — thanks to sharing a common language — spoke about their children and the challenges of being royal mothers.

At their next public meeting, during Royal Ascot in 2016, they chatted at length and stole the show when it came to fashion.

They both wore almost identical floral headwear and midi-dresses.

Before Kate’s wedding to William in 2011, fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld remarked: “Kate is like a younger sister to Mary.”

And it is a relationship that has endured.

In February 2022, Kate chose Copenhagen as the site of her first solo overseas trip in five years, while she undertook a ‘fact-finding’ mission for her Early Years project.

Media were told she and Mary were “good friends” and the two women undertook a series of joint engagements, where they swapped tips and ideas.

Princess Mary set up The Mary Foundation in 2007, which has a huge interest in the welfare of children.

The Princess of Wales has also made early years projects her “life’s work” and launched the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

While they share future goals, the two women also have similar pasts — having both married into the royal family as “commoners”.

Kate famously met her prince at St Andrews University, Scotland, famously catching William’s eye when she modelled underwear on a student catwalk.

Mary, who was born in Australia to Scottish parents, did not even know the identity of her admirer, who called himself “Fred” and asked for her number when they met.

But perhaps the most striking similarity between the future Queens is how they have managed to win over their respective public through hard work, loyalty and style.

Who can forget when the royal mum-of-three dazzled on the No Time To Die premiere red carpet?

And we also saw Kate debut show-stopping lashes at the 2019 BAFTA Awards.

Eyelash expert Saffron Hughes, from FalseEyelashes.co.uk, told Fabulous: “Kate, the Princess of Wales, loves a sophisticated yet natural false eyelash.

“At the Bond premiere, it appears that her makeup artist has opted for a falsie that boasts a denser base, coupled with a dark lash band, offering an enchanting definition to her eyes.

“The falsies for the Baftas exhibit a more delicate, wispy nature, with lengthening lash strands that taper towards fluttery tips. This aids in opening up the eyes, creating an alluring and captivating gaze without overwhelming the overall look.”

And she’s not the only royal to love the bold lash look.

Lash “queen” to the stars Daxita Vaghela has been responsible for giving Meghan Markle her fluffery eyes – as well as A-listers like Jessica Chastain and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Speaking to The Times, Daxita claimed: “Any famous woman who has their picture taken has had them.

“I can look at someone’s lashes and I know exactly where they’re from.”

Meghan is said to have opted for Velour Lush Lashes for her wedding day.

Lash expert Sophia Drozdowska, Director of Marketing at Velour, said: “Unlike traditional false lashes, these lashes are crafted from premium vegan fibres.

“Each pair of Vegan Luxe Lashes is meticulously handmade using top-quality synthetic fibres, replicating the appearance and texture of natural lashes.

“They feel incredibly soft, boast a luxuriously whispy look, and create the illusion of fuller and longer natural eyelashes. The style features thick lash clusters that gradually lengthen towards the outer corners, delivering a captivating eye-opening effect.

“Velour’s Whispie Me Away Lashes start at £25, and each pair is reusable up to 25 times with proper care.”

When it comes to celebrity eyelashes, there are definitely two camps.

Some, like Kate and Meghan, and models like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, tend to favour a “classic” single extensions look, where they have the lashes applied on their own lashes and have a few “volume” clusters for bulk.

The second camp – such as Kylie Jenner and Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips – are said to prefer full-on Russian volume.

It’s not only the red carpet elite who are big fans of Bambi eyes.

The global market for lash extensions was estimated to be valued around £1.07billion in 2020 and expected to nearly double by 2028.

Meanwhile, over on TikTok, the #lashextensions hashtag has had more than 12 billion views.

The industry trade body Beauty Guild estimates that in the UK there are over 129,000 lash treatments taking place each week.

And numerous people are training to be application professionals as their full-time jobs or as a side hustle to supplement their salaries.

Beauty Guild’s Rebecca Archer said: “Classic extensions is our most popular course.

“The cost is relatively low and the potential profit margins are high. Clients love them because the results are immediate.”

Typically the average UK salon will charge £45 for a set of classic extensions, but this can rise to £150 and over in London, especially if you opt for a mix of classic and Russian “volume” lashes.

Clients typically need to get their extensions redone every four to six weeks and will book “infills” to prevent unsightly gaps where the lashes have grown out.

Meghan Markle’s Suits co-star reveals why the Duchess wasn’t invited to the Golden Globes reunion

Meghan Markle’s former agent gave her thoughts on whether the duchess would return to acting

SUITS fans got a treat last night as most of the cast had a heartwarming reunion at the Golden Globes.

However, one key star, Meghan Markle – who played paralegal Rachel Zane on the hit legal drama – was noticeably absent.

The Suits cast united to present an award at the 2024 Golden Globes ceremony, but were asked about the Duchess of Sussex on the red carpet.

One reporter spoke to Gina Torres, who played Jessica Pearson on the show, and said: “Suits reunion!

“Everywhere I look, there’s a star from Suits! Did you plan this? Are you all texting each other?”

Gina answered: “Yeah, our text thread is insane right now!”

The interviewer asked why royal mum-of-two Meghan was absent and if they had “texted” her to join them.

Gina replied: “We don’t have her number.

    “We just don’t, so… She’ll see, she’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here.”

The Duchess of Sussex did not attend this year’s ceremony, but it is understood that she was invited.

Patrick J. Adams, who played Meghan’s love interest Michael Ross, praised his former co-star on the red carpet.

He said: “I think Meghan is a fantastic actress so we’d be lucky to have her back in the industry.”

Upon being asked if he would do a Suits reboot or spin-off, Patrick said: “Let’s go, I’m ready. Mike and Rachel in Seattle.”

In September, the actor shared a number of unseen photos from their time together on set, sparking rumours of a new season.

The snaps included the former actress lying seductively on the set floor and lounging on a sofa in a pair of stilettos – and Patrick added he “misses his friends”.

Patrick also included a number of black-and-white portrait-style shots of the rest of the cast, including Meghan’s friend and co-star Sarah Rafferty, who starred as legal secretary Donna.

Meghan played paralegal Rachel Zane on Suits for seven seasons, but left in 2017 after she started dating Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex’s former showbiz agent, Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, told the Daily Mail that she thought Meghan would return to her former career.

She told the Mail: “I’m sure she’ll make a movie again… I really do think that.”

Meghan worked for over 15 years in the acting industry before meeting Prince Harry, including starring in Horrible Bosses, Remember Me and 90210.

In 2020, she narrated a Disney+ documentary ‘Elephants,’ in her first post-Megxit media project after her husband was filmed suggesting her for a job at the Lion King premiere.

Creator Aaron Korsh was asked by The Hollywood Reporter in August if a Suits revival was on the cards and he said he would “consider” it if he had an idea and “the cast was into it:”

However, he added on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Let me say right off that there is no #Suits reboot or anything in the works.”

Meghan invited the Suits cast to celebrate her royal wedding in 2019 at Windsor Castle, and they shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the lavish reception.

Meghan’s final episode aired in April 2019, just a month before the royal wedding.

The legal drama revolved around Mike gaining a position at a swanky lawyer’s office in New York city.

Throughout the show, Mike and Rachel became romantically involved and then went on to marry and set up their own legal firm in Seattle.

Patrick, who is married to Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario, welcomed his first daughter, Aurora, in 2018 and they had a second daughter, Elliot, in 2021.

He joked that he would be happy for his kids to have a playdate with Meghan and Harry’s kids, Archie, four, and Lilibet, two.

The actor said: “Maybe at her house, it’s a little bigger.

“We’ve shared exactly zero tips with her, because I don’t think Meghan needs any tips about anything.”

Sarah Ferguson reveals the final two words Queen said to her in sweet moment before monarch’s death

The late Queen and Fergie’s ‘special’ relationship detailed below

SARAH Ferguson beamed as she today revealed the final words the late Queen said to her before she died.

The Duchess of York, 64, said that unforgettable conversation was one of the “greatest gifts” the late Monarch ever gave her.

Fergie has spent recent months battling breast and skin cancer and has finally finished her treatment.

She today talked about her fight against cancer – and other parts of her life – on Loose Women.

It was on air that Fergie, who still lives with her ex-husband Prince Andrew, revealed the final conversation she had with the late Queen.

She said it was then that the late Monarch told her to just “be yourself”.

The 64-year-old, who has also just released a romance novel, said: “I can honestly say that was the greatest gift the Queen has ever given me.

“Just before the Queen died she said to me ‘you know what Sarah, you just be yourself and that’s good enough’.”

Fergie said with a smile ear-to-ear: “Isn’t that sweet?

“And every time, like even coming on Loose Women today, you know you’ve got to keep your wits about you, you’re very very bright all of you.

“But now I can just be here and be authentic rather than worrying and I think that was her gift for me.”

Fergie and the late Queen were said to have had a special bond, and the Duchess labelled her a “dear friend”.
Beatrice gives update on her mum Sarah Ferguson’s cancer battle as she’s seen for first time since her ex’s tragic death
She wished Her Majesty a happy birthday in April and wrote: “Thank you for all that you have taught us, for being a steadfast leader and dear friend. You are sorely missed.”

In January, Fergie revealed she had been diagnosed with skin cancer after doctors found a malignant melanoma.

It came months after she underwent treatment for breast cancer in May 2023.

Medics found the disease, which kills around 11,500 women a year in the UK, following a routine mammogram.

But she today revealed she had completed her treatment as she boasted about her latest novel A Very Intriguing Lady, which is co-written with Marguerite Kaye.

I can honestly say that was the greatest gift the Queen has ever given me.

The heroine, Lady Mary Montagu Douglas Scott, is loosely based on Fergie’s own ancestors, as well as her own personality – namely a fondness for constantly surprising others.

She previously told The Sun: “Not many people get the chance to embark on something new in their sixties, and I feel very lucky.

“I am a storyteller, and I believe in living every day romantically.”

Writing romance seems to come easily to a woman who still sees her life as a fairytale – despite a few less than magical twists along the way.

She said: “Marrying into the Royal Family and becoming a princess and then a royal duchess, you are in a very lucky place,” she says.

“I fell in love with my very good looking prince, and I married in 1986 and I am very, very proud.

“I am deeply grateful and I had the most incredible mother-in-law and family.

“And I really do believe in the institution and the monarchy and standing for that value system.”

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle snubbed from ANOTHER Royal event two years running in latest blow

The couple have been urged to ‘stop slagging off’ the Royal Family and ‘build some bridges’

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle have been excluded from a royal event for the second year running.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not been invited to the Trooping the Colour ceremony on June 15 this year.

It marks the second time the pair, who moved to California and stepped down as senior working royals in 2020, have been shunned from the occasion.

The late Queen used to invite the extended Royal Family onto the balcony for Trooping the Colour – but last year, that was changed so only working royals are now allowed, meaning no place for Harry, Meghan or Prince Andrew.

After relocating across the pond four years ago, the couple have launched a barrage of vile attacks against the Royal Family through their unpopular personal projects.

Several accusations were thrown in their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, as well as in the duke’s sensational memoir Spare.

The bitter feud has seen Harry estranged from his family, including on his most recent UK trip to mark the 10th anniversary of his Invictus Games.

Despite being just a few miles from his father, the King’s schedule was “too busy” to accommodate a meeting with his son.

While other royal sources claimed the duke had made no effort to see His Majesty – and turned down an invite to stay at a royal residence.

Before the intense royal rift was sparked, Harry and Meg first joined the royal family at the Trooping the Colour in 2018 after their Windsor wedding.

The couple were then present at the event, which marks King Charles’ official birthday, in 2019 after the birth of son Archie.

After sending shock waves around the globe during Megxit, the duke and duchess were relegated to to a viewing room above Horse Guards Parade to watch the procession unfold in 2022.
Prince Harry and William will NEVER make up – King Charles is stuck in the middle of his feuding sons, says expert
They stood with other non-working royals to celebrate the occasion, which also honoured Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

    ‘BUILD SOME BRIDGES’

But Harry and Meghan were not invited the following year, and have been missed off the guest list once again in 2024.

The couple need to stop “slagging off the royal family” and start building bridges if they wish to attend in the future, claimed one royal author.

Phil Dampier said on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show the Sussexes should “try to build some bridges” after criticising the royals.

The author said: “They’ve got new PR people and if they listen to their PR people – sometimes people don’t listen to their PR people – but if they listen to their PR people, I’m sure they’re telling them that right, you’ve made your point, you’ve had Spare, you’ve had Netflix, you’ve had the Oprah Winfrey interview, you’ve got it all off your chest.

A timeline of Prince Harry and William’s ‘feud’: Brothers ‘at war’

In 2018, the Sun told how “simmering tension” began when William questioned the speed of Harry and Meghan’s engagement.

The first hints of friction reportedly came after William was introduced to Meghan when she was staying at Kensington Palace.

Once she’d returned home to Canada, William and Harry sat down for a brother-to-brother chat.

He knew Harry was already head-over-heels for her but it has been claimed he advised him to take it slowly.

The younger prince reportedly didn’t take too kindly to the advice, with one royal source saying he “went mental”.

Then in June 2019 Harry and Meghan officially split off from the charity they shared with William and Kate.

The Royal Foundation will be divided between the Sussexes and Cambridges as the couples focus on their own separate charitable endeavours.

Prince William and Prince Harry first established the Royal Foundation in 2009 before Kate joined two years later shortly after their engagement was announced.

The trio would often appear together at events and the Foundation had huge successes with projects like the Invictus Games for injured veterans and the mental health Heads Together campaign.

The Royal Foundation said the decision was made following the conclusion of a review into its structure – but added both couples will continue to work together in the future.

Harry and Meg were living in close proximity to Kate and Wills within the Kensington Palace estate, but they switched to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor before baby Archie was born.

The move further increased rumours of a fallout.

Harry, 39, also hinted in his ITV documentary “Harry and Meghan, An African Journey” that he and his brother had grown apart.

It came after Prince Philip called Meghan the “D.O.W” after the Duchess of Windsor — the American divorcee who led Edward VIII to abdicate.

And he warned the late Queen to be “cautious” of Harry’s then bride-to-be, a royal author claims.

Ingrid Seward revealed in new book My Mother And I that Prince Philip felt it was “uncanny…how much Meghan reminded him of the Duchess of Windsor”.

In 2021, Harry and Meghan give their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey where Harry accused his dad of cutting him off financially.

Harry then jetted back to UK to join William in unveiling a statue to their mother Princess Diana in the grounds of Kensington Palace. But sources claimed William didn’t want to attend the memorial amid their ongoing rift.

In 2022, just before their grandmother the Queen died, sources claimed Kate acts as a “peacemaker” between the brothers.

Last year Harry claimed his brother “knocked him to the floor” during an argument about Meghan.

In his book Spare, Harry said William branded Meghan “rude” and “difficult” during a row.

Harry alleged William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor”.

He said he was left with a visible injury to his back following the argument in 2019 at Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, where he was living at the time.

In January this year, Harry flew in to be with Charles after the monarch’s shock cancer diagnosis.

Harry flew back to the US the following day – without seeing Wills.

“Now’s the time to row back a bit and try and try and build some bridges or at least create a life for yourself.”

Phil, who is the author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan in their own words, claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s three-day Nigeria tour was a way for them to try to achieve that.

He added: “Obviously the Nigeria trip they were trying to do that, the jury’s out as to whether that was a good idea.”

    TROOPING THE COLOUR

It comes after doubts were cast over what Trooping the Colour would look like this year.

The Monarch’s cancer diagnosis left a question mark over his attendance.

Speculation was also rampant after His Majesty and Prince William canceled royal engagements amid Rishi Sunak’s general election announcement last month.

However, it has been confirmed the famous ceremony will go ahead as planned, with King Charles present.

The King will travel in a horse-drawn carriage this year rather than rising horseback under advice of doctors.

But, Princess Kate’s attendance is yet to be confirmed amid her own cancer treatment.

It would be the first Trooping the Colour she has been absent from since 2011 when she tied the knot with Wills.

The royal is confirmed to miss the traditional Colonel’s Review on June 8 and Lieutenant General James Bucknall is set to stand in her place.

Prince William today offered an update on his wife’s health as he chatted warmly to veterans after today’s D-Day commemorations.

The Heir joined his father, Queen Camilla and other leaders alongside war heroes in a moving anniversary event in Portsmouth.

King Charles and Wills both paid tribute to the veterans and their families.

Afterwards, William revealed Kate was feeling “better”, adding: “She would’ve loved to be here today.”

This year the Trooping the Colour parade takes place on June 15, 2024.

It will be done by over 1,350 soldiers from the Regiment of the Household Division and the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, including over 300 musicians from the Massed Bands.

A further 250 troops from the Foot Guards with also be reviewed by His Majesty.

The event kicks off at around 10 am, with the Royal Air Force fly-by at roughly 1 pm.

It will be broadcast live across the BBC for non-ticket holders.
