More than ever, Prince Harry is determined to have a permanent home in the country where was born and, at one stage, was in line to the throne. But Meghan Markle‘s opposition to his desire to return to the United Kingdom could scupper his plans.

The 39-year-old royal, who stepped down from his duties as a senior working royal along with Meghan, 42, has been residing in Montecito, California, since 2020.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have built a life for themselves in the United States, working with Netflix and Spotify to reveal secret details about their lives in the Royal Family.

In doing so, it may have caused irreversible damage to their relationship with King Charles and Prince William.

Harry is said to be pining for a return to the UK or to have a permanent residence based there, only to shut down by his wife Meghan, who has refused to step foot in London again, according to one expert.

Prince Harry is said to have been eyeing up a return to the UK, but Meghan Markle is not so keen and is the ‘one thing’ holding him back. I’m sure that [Harry] would love to have a permanent home in the UK,” royal expert Kinsey Schofield said, per the Daily Express.

“Meghan Markle is the one thing holding him back because she tells us through her actions that she has no desire to return [to the UK].”

Why does Prince Harry want UK return?

The ongoing disagreement between the couple leaves their two young children, Archie and Lilibet, caught in a tough situation. Harry has expressed his desire for his children to embrace their British identity, but Meghan isn’t keen after claiming poor treatment from the media and the royals in the UK

What’s more, King Charles‘ cancer diagnosis means Harry wants to try and reconcile things with his father due to the seriousness of his condition.

Prince Harry and King Charles have been at odds in recent times, and more so since the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022. However, King Charles‘ illness and Prince Harry‘s silence on matters concerning the family appears to show he is keen to put the bad blood to bed.

Prince Harry cuts ties with UK as he formally makes the US his home

The Duke of Sussex officially changed his residency last June when he and Meghan were asked to vacate Frogmore Cottage

Prince Harry has changed his primary country of residence from the UK to the US, according to official documents.

The Duke of Sussex also appears to have backdated his official American residency to the day he was booted out of Frogmore Cottage, in an apparant swipe at his father, King Charles, and brother William.

The change of address was filed for his eco firm Travalyst, on Wednesday, although the date of change listed is June 29 last year, the date he was asked by the King to to return the keys to his Windsor bolthole.

Updated Company House records filed this week indicated that Harry declared the United States his “new country” of residence, dashing rumours that he was planning a return to frontline duties amid cancer battles for Charles and Kate.

He and Meghan moved to California in 2020 after quitting Britain and stepping down as working royals.

Frogmore Cottage had been a wedding gift to the pair from the late Queen Elizabeth, therefore when Charles is said to have asked the pair to leave – a decision that laid bare the deterioration of their relationship – it left his youngest son “deeply wounded”.

Publically available documents from Companies House demonstrate that “Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex” changed his “New Country/State Usually Resident” to the United States on June 29.

It is believed that prior to being asked to leave, Prince Harry wanted to keep a base in his home country.

Phil Dampier, a Royal author, told The Sun: “Charles and William knew it had to be done to emphasise Harry and Meghan were outside The Firm but he probably still thought he could keep a base here. Now he’s shown he accepts his life is in the US.”

The Duke of Sussex has since said that he has “considered” becoming an American citizen, but this would cost him his Royal titles.

“The thought has crossed my mind but not a high priority right now,” he admitted on Good Morning America earlier this year.

The news comes amid a highly-publicised review of Prince Harry’s visa application.

It is being reviewed in private after the prince made candid revelations about his prior drug use in his 2023 memoir Spare.

He wrote: “Psychedelics did me some good as well. I’d experimented with them over the years, for fun, but now I’d begun to use them therapeutically, medicinally. They didn’t simply allow me to escape reality for a while.”

This prompted an investigation into whether or not he lied on his application, as questions about prior drug use must be answered by potential US residents.

The Heritage Foundation, a think tank group, subsequently launched a lawsuit against the prince to get to the bottom of the matter.

A representative for the group said: “[The case] comes about in the main because HRH [His Royal Highness] voluntarily—and for immense profit—admitted in writing to the elements of any number of controlled substance violations.”

The Independent has reached out to a representative for Prince Harry for comment.

Chrissy Teigen reveals why she won’t use Meghan Markle’s jam again

Teigen says she plans to keep jam in her fridge ‘forever’ after Duchess of Sussex gifted limited-edition jam jars to various influencers to promote her new brand

Chrissy Teigen was one of the latest people to receive a batch of strawberry jam made by Meghan Markle and her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

Teigen recently took to Instagram to share a video of her using the jam inside of her grilled cheese. “We jammin!!” her caption began as her video played Bob Mareley’s song “Jamming” in the background.

To make her sandwich, Teigen used sourdough bread and spread the jam on both sides before topping it with brie cheese and bacon slices. After spreading butter on the outside of the sandwich, she grilled it until the cheese melted.

“This might have been one of the best bites we’ve had all year – all we used is some rustic bread, salted butter, triple cream brie, thick cut bacon and some @americanrivieraorchard jam!” her caption continued.

“Took about eight mins total and made us happy for the entire weekend.”

The clip ended with Teigen trying the sandwich for herself and then offering a bite of it to her husband, John Legend, who appeared to give it his stamp of approval.

Speaking with ET at the premiere of the new Netflix series, A Man in Full, the couple continued to talk about the sandwich made with the Duchess of Sussex’s jam.

“That sandwich was, like, incredible. One of the best bites I’ve had in a long time,” Legend said while reflecting on his few bites. “I want that exact sandwich again.”

“It was pretty epic,” the Cravings cookbook author mentioned.

As someone with multiple cookbooks available on the market, Teigen explained that she gets sent various luxury food items and struggles to use them because they’re normally so good she doesn’t want to not have it around anymore, which she said is exactly how she feels about Meghan’s jam.

“You don’t want to use it because I don’t want to lose it,” Teigen said. “So now I feel like we did the sandwich, and now I’m gonna keep [the jam] in my fridge forever.”

Teigen and Legend also admitted that they’ve never had the chance to have a “double date” with Meghan and Prince Harry but Teigen and the duchess have had overlapping acting careers at one point.

“I was on Deal or No Deal ages ago,” Teigen admitted while noting Meghan was one of the briefcase girls. “I didn’t actually make it past – I was not one of the [briefcase] girls for more than two episodes,” Teigen recalled. “Because I couldn’t do any choreography or anything. So they demoted me to a banker girl.”

Earlier this month, the duchess gifted the limited-edition jam jars to various influencers to promote her new brand, which was announced online last month.

The jam featured the new company’s label and handwritten numbers that showed what number batch of jam it was out of 50.

Another person who was sent a jar of jam was fashion designer Tracy Robbins, who highlighted it on her Instagram Stories. Robbins wrote: “@AmericanRivieraOrchard breakfast, lunch and dinner just got a little sweeter.”

She followed up with a picture of the jam in a basket of lemons, where she added: “Thank you for the delicious basket! I absolutely love this jam so not sure I’m sharing with anyone. @AmericanRivieraOrchard Thank you, M! #MontecitoGoodness #AmericanRivieraOrchard.”

King Charles & Prince Andrew’s Royal Lodge rift is ‘so bitter’ it rivals Harry & William’s feud, claims royal expert

A PR guru has claimed there is ‘no way’ back from Prince Andrew now

PRINCE William and Prince Harry’s rift is not the only feud taking place in the royal family at the moment.

According to royal experts, King Charles and Prince Andrew’s relationship is now “very, very bitter”, due to the Duke of York refusing to leave his home, Royal Lodge.

The monarch, 75, is allegedly threatening to sever ties with his younger brother the Duke of York, 64, over his failure to vacate Royal Lodge.

Andrew – often dubbed Elizabeth II’s favourite child – shares the home, on the grounds of Windsor Castle, with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

The shamed duke will never return to public duty after paying millions to settle an abuse case with a Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking victim, and Charles has been trying to evict him from the 30-room property for 18 months as it falls into disrepair.

Kate Mansey, Royal Editor of The Times, claims Charles and Andrew’s feud appears to mirror that of the King’s own sons Prince William and Prince Harry.

Speaking on her podcast, The Royals with Roya and Kate, she said: “I think we think about Harry and William falling out, but this is very, very bitter now between Andrew and the King.”

She added: “What’s so interesting is just how fraught the relations have got between the brothers.”

The Sun exclusively revealed Andrew had rejected the chance to move into Frogmore Cottage last year after Harry and Meghan were served with eviction.

Andrew is said to have pointed out that he is in possession of a 75-year lease – but could Charles still force a move?

Kate continued: “Somebody said to me, a friend close to the King, said it can be done tidily or it can be done untidily.

“Getting rid of Andrew from Royal Lodge can be done with grace and dignity, or it can be forced upon him.
King Charles & Prince Andrew ‘were NEVER close & are very different people… their feud has no end in sight,’ expert says
“So this is sort of fighting talk because Charles is paying a lot of money to have him stay there—his security, his allowance.”

Palace sources have insisted Prince Andrew “remains the King’s brother” and is welcome at family events but will never return to public duty.

The disgraced Duke’s police protection was removed when he stepped back from royal duties amid the Epstein scandal.

But Charles stepped in to pick up his multi-million pounds private security bill.

The crisis shows no sign of going away after Netflix screened its hit drama Scoop detailing Andrew’s ‘car crash’ Newsnight interview.

And there is yet another depiction of his shame in an Amazon series on his downfall where Andy is played by actor Michael Sheen.

The scandal-hit father of two has kept out of the public since he caused controversy leading the family into a service for late Greek King Constantine at Windsor Castle in February in the absence of the cancer-hit King.

But last month he was seen playing golf without a care in the world with pals in Scotland.

King Charles and Prince Andrew’s relationship

King Charles and Prince Andrew are reported to have been closer as children, despite their 12-year age gap.

There are claims the now-monarch used to read bedtime stories to the young Duke of York, and they did attend royal duties together.

In 1981, Andrew was one of multiple best men at Charles’ wedding to Princess Diana.

Some royal experts suggest their relationship began to waiver after the Duke began dating Sarah Ferguson in 1985, who he then married the following year.

Richard Fitzwilliams pinpointed the period when Andrew’s marriage “started to disintegrate, and Sarah Ferguson was involved in a variety of controversial activities” that bad blood came to the surface.

“I mean, I think, very clearly Charles had doubts,” he continued, adding there were also issues with “the way Andrew handled his post” as a “special representative for British trade”.

In November 2019, things really came to a head when Andrew’s disastrous Newsnight interview was aired, in which he failed to say he regretted his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

The pair appear to have first met in the early 1990s.

Mr Fitzwilliams added: “Charles must have been very concerned about the some of the company that his brother was keeping.”

Andrew was forced back from royal duties after the BBC broadcast and was later stripped of various titles and patronages amid his legal dispute with Virginia Giuffre.

Any hope that the attitude towards Andrew would soften now that Charles is King doesn’t appear realistic.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun: “The King has undoubtedly got a problem, and the Royal Family very, very clearly have extremely serious and embarrassing perpetual problem with Prince Andrew.”

He said the differences between the two brothers, however, have been striking their whole lives.

“They seem to have gone on as complete opposites, really, in so many ways,” he explained.

“Of course, there’s a 12-year age gap between King Charles and Prince Andrew,” he continued, adding they “hadn’t got that much in common”.

I think we think about Harry and William falling out, but this is very, very bitter now between Andrew and the King

Kate ManseyRoyal Editor Of The Times

“Charles is rather sort of intellectual, serious, sensitive. Andrew, rather bumptious, outgoing.”

Referring to the Royal Lodge dispute, Mr Fitzwilliams said: “You could argue what’s the point of him now?

“He has no royal role, he never will have. So what happens, and then he should get any money.

“Well, this is up to the King, obviously. It’s an embarrassing situation.

“The facts are, however, he still remains a terrible and dreadful embarrassment to the Royal Family, but that is a different matter.”

Could Meghan Markle return to Suits? Filming begins for LA-based spinoff

With filming underway for an LA spinoff of the hit legal drama Suits, some fans believe Meghan Markle could soon be returning to her acting roots by reprising her role as Rachel Zane.

No longer a working royal, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, would be free to re-join the show which propelled her to fame in 2011.

It is also worth noting that she lives in Montecito, California, meaning that she would not have to part with her family to step back into Zane’s shoes.

According to the new show’s logline, it will centre around a new character called Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who “has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles.”

Deadline reports that Black will be played by Stephen Amell, best known for his work on the superhero series Arrow, with other notable cast members including Josh McDermitt of The Walking Dead.

While Markle’s name has not been officially confirmed for the show, the possibility that she could appear was hinted at by her former co-star Patrick Adams at the 2024 Golden Globes.

He teased to Entertainment Tonight: “Sure. Mike and Rachel in Seattle. They gotta come down to LA. they gotta fix some stuff.”

“She’s pretty popular right now,” he joked of Meghan’s status as a member of the Royal family. “Did you hear about Meghan? I’ll tell you later.”

“If we got the phone call, if I got the phone call, I’m ready to suit up again,” he added. “I love the show, I love the character. And I loved working with all these people.”

When announcing their decision to step down as working royals, Harry and Meghan expressed a desire to live a more financially independent life.

According to reports, at one point, Markle was earning as much as $50,000 per episode of the hit legal show.

While Meghan admitted that she had no plans to return to acting in her and Prince Harry’s tell-all interview with Oprah, she did say “never say never”.

“I left Suits right after the 100th episode, in 2018,” she said. “I didn’t think I’d ever be in the entertainment industry again. But the entire culture has changed; streamers have changed things. The ability to create zeitgeist moments like we had in the ‘90s – where everyone would tune in at the same time for a show or gather for one moment? – that doesn’t happen anymore.

She then implied that rom-com storylines could pique her interest, adding: “I miss them so much. I’ve probably watched When Harry Met Sally a million times. And all the Julia Roberts rom-coms. We need to see those again.”

According to Royal commentator Tom Quinn, Prince Harry wants to find a home in the UK after being evicted from his royal residence Frogmore Cottage last year.

Harry has lived in California with wife Meghan since 2020 after they dramatically quit their jobs as working royals and moved across the pond, but it seems that things aren’t as rosy as the brother of Prince William had originally hoped.

Tom Quinn told The Mirror: “As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK.

“Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles.”

Not only this, but according to Tom, Harry is keen to find a permanent home in the UK.

The royal commentator added: “He misses his Old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don’t get on with Meghan.

    Tom Quinn
“Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the UK, which is partly why he’s continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security.”

The Duke has spoken about his love of the UK before and in his memoir Spare, released last year, he talked about his eviction from Frogmore Cottage.

Harry penned: “Once upon a time, this was going to be my forever home. Instead, it had proved to be just another brief stop.”

The couple were allowed to keep Frogmore Cottage as their UK base for several years after they were given the house as a wedding present from the late Queen.
I know why Prince Harry and William’s explosive feud is here to stay – it’s so obvious, reveals royal expert
But things then changed in 2023 when King Charles evicted Harry and Meghan from the royal residence.

According to The Telegraph, Harry and Meghan viewed Frogmore Cottage as the “only place that’s left as a safe space” for them and their children in the UK.

But the couple had barely stayed at the property as they now live in a Californian mansion in Montecito with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Now’s the time to row back a bit and try and build some bridges

    Phil Dampier
Not only this, but as recently reported, according to royal author Phil Dampier, it’s time that the Sussexes “built some bridges” after criticising the royals.

Phil Dampier said on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show: “They’ve got new PR people and if they listen to their PR people – sometimes people don’t listen to their PR people – but if they listen to their PR people, I’m sure they’re telling them that right, you’ve made your point, you’ve had Spare, you’ve had Netflix, you’ve had the Oprah Winfrey interview, you’ve got it all off your chest.

“Now’s the time to row back a bit and try and build some bridges or at least create a life for yourself.”

Since leaving royal duties behind four years ago, the couple have made a number of accusations against the Royal Family, including in their Netflix docuseries.

Meanwhile, in Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare, he made a number of claims, including how William allegedly branded Meghan “rude” and “difficult” during a row at his then residence on the grounds of Kensington Palace, Nottingham Cottage.

Prince Harry’s friends never “warmed” to Meghan Markle when they were first introduced at the start of her relationship with the royal, claims royal expert Richard Eden.

In his column for Daily Mail, Mr Eden wrote that Meghan failed to make a good impression when she was first introduced to Harry’s friends as “not all of them warmed to the American actress”. Harry’s friends reportedly found it very hard to find common ground with the “politically correct America” and couldn’t see eye-to-eye with her.

Most recently, Harry was noticeably absent from his friend, the 7th Duke of Westminster’s wedding last week.

Mr Eden wrote: “When Prince Harry started introducing new girlfriend Meghan Markle to his closest pals back in 2017, not all of them warmed to the American actress.

“Harry’s friends, after all, tend to be country sports enthusiasts with an earthy sense of humour, while Meghan is a politically correct Californian who practises yoga when she’s not sipping green smoothies or nibbling avocado on toast.”

Since he began dating Meghan, the Duke of Sussex has become isolated from his former circle of old Etonian and army friends.

Speaking to the Mirror, royal author and expert Tom Quinn explained: “As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK. Prince Harry’s ‘green-eyed monster’ claims on family rivalry debunked

Prince William is leaning on his ‘replacement brothers,’ new ‘inner circle’ amid Kate Middleton’s cancer battle: report

While the truth about Prince Harry’s complex relationship with his brother was undeniably the centrepiece of his memoir – there was a fascinating secondary plot: Prince William’s alleged ongoing tension with their father.

Spare, for the first time, exposed first-hand the intricacies of the family’s ecosystem, which was apparently regularly disrupted over issues related to public image, popularity and media exposure.

Among Harry’s most unflattering claims was one which alleged that Charles would become deeply frustrated when his work was overshadowed by less senior members of the monarchy, including his sons and their wives.

It was a theme revisited in royal author Omid Scobie’s Endgame late last year, which also quoted sources suggesting William at times considered his father “incompetent”, and painted Charles as becoming outraged by his son’s “effrontery”.

“William, or his staff, I should say, will always be quick to play up his efforts,” a source close to Charles claimed.

Prince William’s alleged ongoing tension with their father was discussed in Prince Harry’s memoir.Samir Hussein/WireImage
“There is an almost frenzied push for William to be seen as ready for the throne, despite an entire generation coming beforehand.”

Jealousy isn’t a particularly flattering look on anyone. On the then-future King of England, and in relation to his two children, it was downright ugly.

But fast-forward 18 months, and a high-profile scene has just unfolded which either indicates Harry misunderstood the situation back then or that a monumental transformation has occurred (or both).

Far from trying to keep his heir one step behind him, the King deployed arguably his best asset, Prince William, onto the global stage for the D-Day commemorations in France.

Charles, who according to the UK Times is “adapting” his workload as he continues to undergo cancer treatment, attended an event in Normandy on Thursday before flying home, allowing William to fill in for the remainder of duties.

A friend of the King’s pointed out to the publication that the decision was made with “careful consideration” and that Charles has already done “the heavy lifting in the morning” while “his heir was there to honour veterans later in his absence”.

But the photo op alone, of the dashing heir apparent looking every inch the statesman as he took his place among world leaders, including three presidents, would surely have been unthinkable within the delicate confines of royal life as Harry knew it.

"Spare" book cover by Prince Harry
Prince Harry’s memoir “Spare” discussed the intricacies of the royal family first-hand.
In his memoir, Harry had detailed a specific incident a few years back whereby it was discovered Charles and Kate had scheduled engagements on the same day. Charles’ team initially ordered she cancel hers, but it was too late – so instead, the duke wrote, Kate was ordered not to pose with a tennis racquet as it would ruin his chances of being on the front page.

“That couldn’t be tolerated under any circumstances,” Harry said.

That’s right – picture of Kate holding a piece of sports equipment was banned for fear it would provide too big a spotlight.

    And here we are now:

It’s no secret that the Prince and Princess of Wales are the most dazzling members of the ever-shrinking royal team. Kate’s absence from public life as she undergoes preventive treatment for cancer has left a gaping hole in the palace’s positive PR effort and left William shouldering a huge percentage of that responsibility.

According to the Times, royal insiders have previously spoken of the sensitivities attached to navigating William and Charles’ schedules, and the bouts of “green-eyed monster” that have erupted when the younger royals take center stage in the media.

It closely aligns with what Harry had written in his explosive memoir.

    King Charles and Prince Harry
“If there was ever a green-eyed monster or a sense of rivalry between the two, that is a chapter of the past,” a friend of the royals reportedly told the TimesZak Hussein / SplashNews.com
But in a stunning twist of irony, it appears the storm brought upon the House of Windsor by the Duke of Sussex’s many revelations in the media, including that of the internal jealousies, has helped to bring the King and William closer together.

“If there was ever a green-eyed monster or a sense of rivalry between the two, that is a chapter of the past,” a friend of the royals reportedly told the Times.

“The King sees his son as a useful ally on family matters and increasingly in discharging the duties of nation and state.”

The source also hinted that Charles’ ascension to the throne has shifted his mindset.

“When you are monarch, you’re not counting the column inches. You’re thinking about performing your role for your country, not just as King Charles but as ‘the family’.”

On William’s side, with his father still recovering from cancer, his wife undergoing treatment and his position as heir to the throne increasingly significant, he “very much wants to support” the King with “everything he is going through”.

The Times also quoted a friend of the King’s, who detailed his growing reliance on his son for consultation on “tricky family issues”, not just involving the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but also regarding the disgraced Prince Andrew.

Seeing the pictures of his brother honored by Charles with such a significant role recently – particularly involving the military and veterans, an area of royal duties that Harry is reported to sorely miss – just weeks after his attempt to even meet up with his father was rebuffed can’t have been easy.

But with so much relationship wreckage left in the wake of Spare, perhaps he can view his inadvertent role in tightening the bond between William and Charles as a silver lining.

Prince Harry searching for a UK home as his friends are not visiting over ‘rifts’ with Meghan Markle: report

Prince Harry is searching for a UK property as his friends are refusing to visit him in the US over their “rifts” with Meghan Markle, according to a report.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, is reportedly keen to have a London base he could keep returning to instead of checking into hotels — something he’s been doing since last year.

After being evicted from Frogmore Cottage in June 2023, Harry and Meghan have not had a permanent place to stay on his home soil.

According to royal commentator and expert Tom Quinn, the father of two is “sad” that he no longer has a British address to his name.

“As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK,” Quinn told The Mirror.

“Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles.”

Quinn added that Harry misses his schoolmates and army friends, “many of whom have not visited as they don’t get on with Meghan.”

“Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the UK, which is partly why he’s continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security,” he added, referring to London High Court’s decision to strip the Sussexes of taxpayer-funded UK security protection.

The Post has reached out to reps for the Sussexes for comment.

Earlier this year, Harry was ordered to pay 90% of the UK Home Office’s legal costs for defending the court’s initial ruling.

In February, Sir Peter Lane, the judge of the High Court, ruled that there was no unlawfulness in stripping Harry and Meghan of their security in Feb. 2020.

In a further blow to the couple, they were asked to hand over the keys to Frogmore Cottage — a royal residence they thought would “always be there for them.”

The pair were gifted the home’s lease by the late Queen Elizabeth II as a wedding present in 2018.

However, after stepping down as senior working members of the family and hightailing it across the pond just two years later, the pair were asked to hand over the keys to the plush royal residence.

Earlier this year, Harry sensationally renounced his British residency and claimed America as his home in new paperwork in which he declared that his “new country/state” was now the “United States.”

The move was backdated to June 29, 2023 — the same day he and the “Suits” alum officially vacated the sprawling property, which left them with no official UK residence.

Experts have since speculated that the date listed is a blatant indicator that his estranged father’s decision hurt him.

After evicting the property, the Sussexes were reported to try to recoup the $2.8 million they spent on revamping it.

Charles kickstarted the eviction process from the plush five-bedroom property in Jan. 2023 — just one day after Harry’s bombshell memoir “Spare” hit the shelves.

Kate Middleton and Charles health updates shared by emotional Sarah Ferguson after own cancer battle

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, joined Good Morning Britain on Wednesday to give an update on both her own health as well as the King and Princess of Wales’ after the Royal Family had a double cancer scare

An emotional Sarah Ferguson provided the nation with an update on the health of King Charles and Kate Middleton when she appeared on Good Morning Britain today.

The Duchess of York has faced her own brave battle with cancer while the Princess of Wales and the King recently revealed they were undergoing treatment for the disease. Meanwhile, Fergie was asked to address rumours that her ex-husband and close friend Prince Andrew is downsizing from the Royal Lodge, as well as giving a cheery update on the late Queen’s corgis.

Responding to host Susanna Reid’s health enquiry, she revealed: “All these years I’ve been thinking ‘am I good enough? Am I this, am I that? Do I get my finances right? Do I do this? And actually suddenly now with a mastectomy and then with malignant melanoma, every single day, it’s not a wake up call, it’s now a new normal.”

She added: “You can never say you’re cancer-free, but you can say that I’m doing well Susanna, and I’m very lucky, but I really am determined. Honestly 1.2 mammograms are not being picked up. The people are not going for their mammograms, they’re not being tested. They need to be tested, they can be tested and don’t be frightened.”

In response to the Duchess’s words, Susanna replied: “I had been avoiding it because I was worried and it wasn’t the painful experience that I had in my head that it was – so thank you. [It was] All clear, thank goodness.”

Sarah Ferguson has praised the King and Kate Middleton for their recent efforts in supporting Cancer Research UK, saying: “I’m so, so proud of the King going to CRUCK, the Cancer Research UK, and becoming the royal patron and going out there and talking to all these people because it gives everybody that wonderful feeling that they are being listened to, and I thought that was very brave of him to do that. The lovely Princess Catherine doing the video was so brave. I think family unity is an extraordinary thing and I’m honestly just so proud and I just send them lots of love and lots of support.”

When quizzed by co-host Martin Lewis about the King’s request for Prince Andrew and herself to relocate from the Royal Lodge to the ‘much smaller’ Frogmore cottage, Sarah responded: “Well, you know it’s not a ‘Debbie Downer’. It’s life in the fast lane. I’m a guest for a start. I am a very lucky guest and a very comfortable guest, thank you very much. But I tend not to get involved in brothers’ discussions and I think that’s the best, most safe place to be. Let the brothers discuss it between themselves and I keep it like that.”

The Duchess shared a touching insight into her private conversations with Queen Elizabeth before her passing. Appearing on ITV’s Loose Women, she revealed: “Just before the Queen died, Queen Elizabeth, the late Queen, she said ‘Sarah, just being yourself is enough and it’s good enough’ and as soon as she said that… I walk on and talk to you guys and you can ask me anything you like because I am okay now. I have done my apprenticeship of life at 64.”

Following such heartening words from Her Majesty, the Duchess added: “I now sort of feel as though, ‘wow, she said that myself is good enough’ and I thought she was one of the finest people I had ever met in my entire life and a legend, an icon and I love her and of course, I have the corgis everyday… They are fantastic.”

The Duchess will be joining the Loose Women panel again, reports Gloucestershire Live. She’ll be on Wednesday’s show from 12.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
