In early 2018, Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, made it clear to Prince Harry that he was not prepared to fully support him and his soon-to-be wife, Meghan Markle. These revelations, among others, were unveiled in Robert Jobson’s book, “Our King: Charles III — The Man and the Monarch Revealed.” According to reports, Harry grew increasingly frustrated during the conversation as the future King Charles III explained that he couldn’t afford to financially support not only Harry and Meghan but also Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and their young family. Prince Charles, as the heir to the throne, received annual earnings from the Duchy of Cornwall, and he did not rely on funding from Queen Elizabeth II’s Sovereign Grant.
These revelations align with complaints that the Duke of Sussex expressed in his memoir, “Spare,” where he wrote about his inability to earn money “to support my family.” The disclosure came shortly after Harry lost his legal battle in the High Court to retain taxpayer-funded security. Documents from the case, decided on February 28, revealed that Harry even demanded to know the specific person who authorized the removal of Sussex’s security four years ago. In early 2020, Harry and Meghan Markle decided to leave the United Kingdom, a move popularly known as “Megxit,” with reasons that have been the subject of ongoing debate among analysts and the couple themselves.

Regardless of the underlying reasons for their departure, government-funded royal security is typically provided only to senior royals who actively work for or receive funding from the annual Sovereign Grant. It is widely understood that members of the monarchy who receive such security reside full-time in Britain and continue to fulfill their public and private duties as representatives of the reigning monarch. Both of these principles were abandoned when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their decision to leave.

In February 2020, the flame-haired prince filed a claim against the British Home Office after their decision to withdraw security, and he released a statement last December defending his choice. Harry expressed that he and the Duchess of Sussex felt compelled to leave the monarchy nearly four years ago.

“With great sadness, my wife and I felt forced to step back from our roles and leave the country in 2020. The U.K. is my home. It is central to the heritage of my children, and I want them to feel at home there, just as they do where they currently reside in the United States,” read Harry’s recent witness statement, underscoring his deep connection to the United Kingdom.

Piers Morgan is set to attack Meghan Markle’s “downright lies” in an upcoming interview with Australia’s “60 Minutes.”

The former “Good Morning Britain” anchor sat down with journalist Karl Stefanovic to discuss his war on cancel culture as well as his ongoing battle with the Duchess of Sussex, with whom he’s been fighting since she allegedly ghosted him and their friendship.

“I don’t believe a word she says,” Morgan, 56, said of Markle, 39, in a sneak peek at Sunday’s episode.

Looking back on the “Suits” alum’s since-refuted claim that she and Harry, 36, had secretly married days before their royal wedding in May 2018, Morgan added, “They were downright lies. … That [ceremony] would make the Archbishop of Canterbury a criminal.”

It’s ironic that Morgan sat down with Stefanovic, as the Nine Network presenter, 46, has been one of Markle’s staunchest defenders. Stefanovic also once called Morgan “disgraceful.”

In the clip from their interview, the TV personalities butted heads after Morgan claimed that Markle was pretending to be in love with Harry.

“I’ve got something to say about that,” Stefanovic replied. “I think that’s disgraceful. I think she is an amazing, amazing woman. I think she is doing her very best at the moment, and she’s got a lot on her plate. She’s doing it so beautifully. She’s such a great export for Great Britain.”

Turning his ire on Morgan, Stefanovic added, “I mean, what is that guy on? He’s lost the plot completely.

“I don’t know how his poor co-host puts up with it. Imagine putting up with a dude like that who is so up himself and so egotistical that he would assume to say those things about her?”

Morgan quit “Good Morning Britain” in March after he stormed off the set during a heated discussion about Markle and Harry.

In Stevanovic’s forthcoming interview with Morgan, he dubs his fellow journalist “an angry old man.”

“Freedom of speech is actually more important than the Meghan Markle debacle,” Morgan responded. “Who are these ‘woke’ people marching around like they are Kim Jong Un with a dash of Vladimir Putin?

“Come on, everybody, take a chill pill.”

Reports suggest Meghan Markle is struggling with “sadness” as her two children grow up without Royal privileges in the U.S

Meghan Markle is said to be experiencing “sadness” over baby heartbreak, with the Duchess reportedly “struggling” as she faces the end of an era.

The Duchess of Sussex is a doting mother to her two children. Meghan and her husband Prince Harry welcomed their first child, Prince Archie, in 2019.

And in 2021, the couple welcomed their second child, Princess Lilibet.

Just last month, for Mother’s Day in the United States, which is where the couple and their young family reside, Meghan was not with her children on the special day.

During the Sussexes’ recent visit to Nigeria, which fell on Mother’s Day in the US, the former Suits actress shared her grief when she spoke of how she was not with her kids.

She said at the time: “Today is Mother’s Day. So it feels appropriate that although of course we are missing our children,

I’m missing my babies, it feels very appropriate to be in the motherland and amongst family.”

And now a source has told OK! Magazine that Meghan struggles to be apart from her two young children. The source told the publication: “Meghan doesn’t like being away from her children as she doesn’t want to miss a thing with them growing up so fast. With Lili turning three, it’s really got Meghan and Harry thinking about their future and how quickly the children are growing up. Meghan especially feels that her babies are no longer babies and like most mums, it makes her slightly sad and wistful that the baby years have come to an end.”

The Sussexes’ daughter turned three on June 4, which is why Meghan could be struggling with the end of an era. The magazine reports that parenting expert Amanda Jenner explains: “For many parents, it really is a mix of emotions when you think your children are growing up so fast; it can leave parents feeling anxious about how fast time is going but it is completely natural.

“It’s perfectly normal that Meghan is feeling that sudden sadness and it’s important to find the positive. This can also be a time for parents to find themselves again as a person.”

Prince William: Taking on Responsibility During Kate Middleton and King Charles’ Recovery

Prince William: Taking on Responsibility During Kate Middleton and King Charles’ Recovery

As Kate Middleton recuperates from her recent abdominal surgery and King Charles undergoes treatment for cancer, it’s clear that Prince William has taken on a significant amount of responsibility. He has stepped up as a caring father and husband, taking care of both Kate and their three children, while also assisting his father with royal duties

Despite the challenges that lie ahead, Prince William will continue to take on more engagements as both his father and wife recover. Recently, he attended the BAFTA Film Awards without Kate by his side, emphasizing his commitment to fulfilling his obligations.

While there hasn’t been much information about Kate’s recovery, Prince William provided a heartwarming update on her health when speaking with Elaine Bedell, the chief executive of the Southbank Centre. The prince’s words reflect his deep concern and love for his wife.

Prince William and the entire royal family have faced numerous challenges in recent years, including the well-publicized feud with Prince Harry and Meghan. In addition, the passing of the Queen and King Charles assuming the throne have brought significant adjustments to the royal family.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have taken on more responsibility and royal duties, but their lives took an unexpected turn in January. Kate underwent abdominal surgery, leading to her hospitalization at The London Clinic for nearly two weeks. Prince William visited her regularly, but he also had to shoulder additional responsibilities as a father, taking care of the children’s school runs, after-school activities, and sharing parenting duties with the family nanny.

At the same time, King Charles was undergoing treatment for an enlarged prostate. Shortly after, the shocking news of his cancer diagnosis shook fans worldwide. As Prince William has spent his life preparing to become king, his responsibilities as both a husband and a son have grown in the face of these health scares.

Royal biographer Angela Levin believes Prince William is facing a difficult time. Alongside his duties as a father and husband, he must also juggle his royal obligations and assist his father, King Charles. It’s clear that the strained relationship with his brother, Prince Harry, adds to his challenges.

According to Levin, Prince William may feel incredibly lonely, as he has distanced himself from Prince Harry due to rude and unkind behavior towards William and his wife. The loss of their mother, the recent passing of their grandmother, and the illness of their father and wife have further isolated Prince William in his responsibilities.

After her 13-day stay at The London Clinic, Kate Middleton was finally able to return home to Adelaide Cottage, where she reunited with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. During her hospitalization, the children used FaceTime to stay connected with their mother, respecting her choice not to have them visit.

Although there haven’t been many updates on Kate’s health and recovery, her ability to travel to Anmer Hall for a family trip during the kids’ half-term is a positive sign. Norfolk’s accessibility and wide-open spaces provide the perfect environment for the family to find solace and recovery.

While attending London’s Air Ambulance Charity Gala Dinner, Prince William expressed his gratitude for the kind messages of support for Kate and his father. Additionally, during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, he assured one of the recipients of honors that Kate’s recovery was progressing well.

Prince William’s presence at the BAFTA Film Awards without Kate attracted attention. He apologized for her absence, indicating her love for the event. The prince’s words reflected his struggles as he acknowledged the challenges that have preoccupied his mind during this difficult time.

Royal expert Angela Levin commends Prince William’s conduct during the BAFTA event, highlighting his contrast with his brother, Prince Harry. She praises his dignified demeanor, his commitment to his duties, and his dedication to providing a satisfying experience for those involved in the film industry.

Levin concludes that Prince William’s shining example makes him a brilliant heir to the throne. The prince’s ability to compartmentalize his personal concerns and focus on his responsibilities demonstrates his strength of character and dedication to his role.

Meghan Markle for what appears to be a calculated publicity stunt. Just hours before the brave Princess Kate made her inspiring return to public life at Trooping the Colour after her battle with cancer, Meghan was busy promoting her lifestyle brand online alongside her friend Nacho Figueras. The timing couldn’t have been more off. While Kate deserved the spotlight for her courage and strength, Meghan’s focus seemed to be elsewhere.

This isn’t the first time Meghan has made headlines for seemingly stealing attention from the real work of the royals. Her latest antics feel like a desperate grab for the spotlight, overshadowing significant moments with what many perceive as self-serving maneuvers. Instead of honoring Kate’s resilience, Meghan chose to promote products that many would consider frivolous.

It’s disappointing to see Meghan, a former actress born into luxury, trying to compete with Kate, who has consistently shown dedication and humility in her role. Kate’s recent appearance after chemotherapy was a testament to her integrity and service to the monarchy, contrasting sharply with Meghan’s commercial endeavors.

Piers Morgan’s comparison between the two is striking. While Kate embodies grace under pressure, Meghan’s actions often invite scrutiny. There’s a stark contrast between Kate’s dignified public appearances and Meghan’s more overt attempts at self-promotion.It’s evident that Meghan’s efforts to maintain relevance sometimes lack tact and sensitivity, particularly when juxtaposed with moments of genuine royal duty and honor. Her choices seem to prioritize personal gain over the respect and admiration that Kate effortlessly commands.

As Meghan continues to navigate her role within the royal family, it’s crucial for her to reflect on how her actions are perceived. The public’s perception of her motives can either bolster or undermine her credibility in royal circles. It remains to be seen whether Meghan will find a balance that resonates positively with the public and honors the responsibilities she has chosen to embrace.

In new episodes released Thursday, the 66-year-old recalls the “Suits” alum telling her that “she had wanted to take her own life.”

Ragland remembers, “That really broke my heart because I knew that it was bad. … That’s not an easy one for a mom to hear.”

The former yoga instructor notes that both she and Markle’s husband, Prince Harry, couldn’t “protect” the former actress from the media hate she received amid her relationship with the royal.

“[She was] just constantly be picked at by these vultures just picking away at her spirit,” Ragland says of Markle, 41, “actually think[ing] of not wanting to be here.”

Ragland’s emotional interview comes nearly two years after the “Deal or No Deal” alum publicly shared her battle with suicidal thoughts for the first time.

“I just didn’t want to be alive anymore,” Markle told Oprah Winfrey during a bombshell March 2021 interview. “I knew that if I didn’t say it that I would do it. And that was a very clear and real and frightening constant thought.”

“If you zoom in, you can see how tightly his knuckles are gripped around mine,” Markle said. “You can see the whites of our knuckles, because we are smiling and doing our job, but we’re both just trying to hold on.”

Harry, 38, admits in the Netflix show that he “hates” himself for how he reacted to his wife’s confession.

“I didn’t deal with it particularly well,” the former military pilot recalls. “What she needed from me was so much more than i was able to give.”

As for Markle, she says, “I wanted to go somewhere to get help, but I wasn’t allowed to. They were concerned about how that would look for the institution.”

Megyn Kelly has another bone to pick with Meghan Markle and this time it’s because she has an issue with the fact she refers to Prince Harry as ‘her husband’.

On the latest episode of her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, the American media commentator slammed Markle and said she’d had enough.

‘We get it, you bagged the gorilla,’ she said on Tuesday’s episode.

‘Congratulations, you got the big bear, [and] you want us all to know.’

The comments were in response to the latest episode of Markle’s own podcast, Archetypes, when she said that her husband was ‘great’ with contributing equally to parenting.

‘Oh, my husband? Oh, he’s great,’ she said.

‘[He] gets [Archie] downstairs’, while she added she would make breakfast for the family.

‘It’s very important to me. I love doing it.’

With Christopher Anderson, author of The King: The Life of Charles III, Kelly’s guest on the program, the pair also discussed claims made in the Oprah interview, including a part where Markle said she never looked up the Royal family prior to her relationship.

Anderson claimed that, like ‘every other young woman’, she knew exactly who they were.

‘Let’s get real, there’s always that eligible bachelor,’ Kelly agreed.

‘For my age, it was JFK Jr., for her age it was Prince Harry.’

Kelly also criticised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for ‘ripping on the Royals to whom they owe, literally, all of their fame and most of their fortune.’

The comments come as the world waits to see the contents of Harry’s memoir, Spare, which will now be released on January 10 after being delayed due to the Queen’s passing.

The 416-page book has been billed by publisher Penguin Random House as a work of ‘raw, unflinching honesty’.

Relatives were not given a heads-up on the title – a reference to the phrase the ‘the heir and the spare’ – in advance of last week’s announcement, with a source telling the Daily Mail it will be seen as both ‘controversial’ and ‘provocative’.

Harry has previously called the book a ‘truthful and wholly accurate’ portrait of his life – the prospect of which has sent shockwaves through the royal establishment.

  • 42-year-old Meghan Markle lets Duchess title slip in favour of ‘real-life princess’ to ‘inspire young girls

42-year-old Meghan Markle lets Duchess title slip in favour of ‘real-life princess’ to ‘inspire young girls

Meghan Markle, upon marrying Prince Harry in 2018, acquired several titles and styles. While she is most commonly referred to as the Duchess of Sussex, there are lesser-known subsidiary titles she holds through her marriage. Legally, Meghan is known as “Princess Henry” (using Harry’s real name), but this title is not commonly used because her Duchess of Sussex title takes precedence.

Despite stepping back from the royal family in 2020, Meghan and Prince Harry still retain their royal titles. The couple now resides in Montecito, California, with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

    Meghan Markle

In a previous interview, Meghan seemed to embrace a more royal status when she referred to herself as “a real-life princess”. This title, however, is not one that Meghan has officially been given, unlike her sister-in-law, Princess Kate, who has been referred to as a Princess since King Charles ascended the throne in 2023.

During a 2022 interview with The Cut, the Duchess expressed the importance of being thoughtful about her role, especially when interacting with young girls who view her as a real-life princess. She encouraged them to recognize their own power to create lives greater than any fairy tale, emphasizing that happiness and love are within their reach.

Specifically, Meghan said: “It’s important to be thoughtful about it because – even with the Oprah interview, I was conscious of the fact that there are little girls that I meet and they’re just like, ‘Oh my God, it’s a real-life princess.’”

She added: “I just look at all of them and think, ‘You have the power within you to create a life greater than any fairy tale you’ve ever read’. I don’t mean that in terms of ‘You could marry a prince one day.’ I mean you can find love. You can find happiness. You can be up against what could feel like the greatest obstacle and then you can find happiness again.”

Traditionally, marrying into the royal family would designate the wife of a Prince as a “Princess consort”. However, some have taken on Duchess titles, as seen with Kate becoming the Duchess of Cambridge when she married Prince William in 2011.

Despite her royal status, Meghan has focused on building the Sussex brand. Recently, she debuted her new business, American Riviera Orchard, on Instagram. The brand is expected to tie in with a new cooking show on Netflix, featuring lifestyle products such as marmalades, jams, and home decor items. While the Sussexes’ Netflix deal is due to end in 2025, contracts for renewal have not yet been confirmed.

In summary, Meghan Markle holds multiple titles, including “Princess Henry,” but her Duchess of Sussex title remains the most recognized. Her journey beyond the fairy tale includes empowering others to find love, happiness, and overcome obstacles, just as she has done herself. And as she continues to build her brand, the world watches with interest, much like the little girls who see her as a real-life princess.

  • Meghan Markle ‘won’t set foot in the UK ever again’ despite Prince Harry’s deeper-than-ever homesickness

Meghan Markle ‘won’t set foot in the UK ever again’ despite Prince Harry’s deeper-than-ever homesickness

Meghan Markle will be the deciding factor in whether Prince Harry makes a return to the UK, but she ‘will not be forced’.

The couple, who stepped back from the Royal Family in 2020, live in Montecito, California, and have had a strained relationship with their royal relatives in the past following comments revealed in interviews and in Harry’s autobiography Spare. Whilst Prince Harry is said to be keen to mend the royal rift and repair his relationship with his family and potentially return to the UK, it’s been revealed that his wife will be the one who makes the decision over whether their family leaves the US.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has explained that the former Suits actress will ultimately ‘have the final say’ on whether she and Prince Harry make a return to the UK or not.

Meghan Markle is said to ‘have final say’ on whether she and Prince Harry make a UK return

Speaking to The Sun, the royal biographer explained: “Meghan has the say.” He then explained that Harry wants to “convey he is a very devoted family man and will put them above everything else”. The royal expert continued: “If Meghan didn’t want to come she could never be forced to. It would be extremely unlikely Harry would come over with the kids without Meghan.”

The comments come as it’s been revealed that Prince Harry will visit the UK next month to celebrate 10 years of the Invictus Games in May, and it’s likely that Meghan will not accompany him. An expert has revealed the former Suits actress is unlikely to visit the UK due to fears over safety and the ‘drama’ that would likely unfold with the Royal Family including between her and The Princess of Wales.

Meghan has made a return to the UK since the pair stepped back from their royal duties in 2020 but only on rare occasions which included Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022. However, she did not return for King Charles III’s coronation last year, which Harry attended alone.

British commentator Esther Krakue spoke on GB News about Meghan’s potential visit, adding she believes that she won’t attend with Harry – especially due to one major reason. Speaking on the show, Ms Krakue said: “I actually think she’s avoiding the UK because she’s not interested in the whole drama and, kind of, being injected, is she going to talk to [Princess] Kate, and all of that.

“I personally think she’s not going to come because, obviously, Harry has lost his case with the Home Office and he said he doesn’t feel safe bringing his family over [to the UK] and I also think this is going to be a time where distance between the Sussexes and the Royal Family will be calcified because the focus will obviously be on the Princess of Wales and the King recovering, they don’t need the whole Netflix drama.”
