Insider sources reveal that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have opted to keep childcare within the family, with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, stepping into the role of babysitter.

Their decision comes after numerous unsuccessful experiences with professional caregivers over recent years, as reported by the Express.

An inside source revealed: “Harry and Meghan have employed various nannies in the past, but now that Doria has moved in with them, she’s stepped up to help with the kids.”

The Princess of Wales has been given a four-word warning over her Royal duties after undergoing abdominal surgery.

NHS psychiatrist Dr Max Pemberton praised Kate’s decision to take time off until Easter after Kensington Palace released a statement last week revealing she had undergone the surgery. As a result, the Palace said Kate would be taking time off from duties until Easter.

Dr Pemberton described the move as “incredibly sensible”, detailing the seriousness of abdominal surgeries saying she “must not rush back”. “We don’t know what’s wrong or why she needed the operation,” the psychiatrist said, writing in the Daily Mail.

“But Kate has always struck me as quite down-to-earth, level-headed and stoical, so I’m sure she wouldn’t have heeded medical advice and taken that much time off unless really necessary.” Giving examples of how serious such surgery can be, he added: “Of course, there’s always someone who will tell you how they had a hysterectomy in their lunch break, or their appendix removed while on the school run.

“But in reality we should all be taking a leaf out of Kate’s book and convalescing properly.” Highlighting the importance of proper recovery, Dr Pemberton warned: “We need to allow ourselves time to get both physically and mentally back up to speed. So many of us are guilty of rushing back to work too quickly.” Expressing his wishes, he prayed for Kate’s quick recovery.

The Prince has been estranged from Princess Kate, brother Prince William and father King Charles since the Sussexes took part in an explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, and the rift was deepened when Harry released his memoir Spare last year.

Brave Fergie was all smiles today as she waved to royal fans who wished her well following her skin cancer diagnosis – and even issued a four-word update.

Sarah Ferguson today visited her dermatologist at the King William VII hospital in Marylebone, as she continues to recuperate from malignant melanoma.

The smiling Duchess of York said “I’m fine, thank you”, when asked by fans how she was doing outside the hospital following her appointment. Wearing a navy blue blazer, matching skirt, black tights and loafers, Fergie stopped to chat with locals before being driven off by a driver.

Fergie broke the news of her shock diagnosis last week, just six months after her breast cancer battle. Prince Andrew’s ex-wife had to undergo an eight-hour operation last July to remove one of her breasts after doctors discovered the disease in a routine mammogram which she nearly missed.

But plucky Fergie has already vowed to “distress into a positive” after doctors told her she was suffering from the most serious form of skin cancer after biopsies were taken from moles last year.

The 64-year-old grandma posted her first message since her diagnosis this week on Instagram, saying she was “incredibly thankful” to her medical team and was now resting at home with her family. She added how she continues to be in “good spirits” despite the setback and was “grateful for the many messages of love and support”.

A close friend said: “She is simply amazing, always looking for the positive in any situation and rarely thinking of herself. She is going to beat this disease, just like she faced down her breast cancer diagnosis, with bravery and good humour and working out a way she can use her experience to help others.”

The duchess received the news shortly after Christmas, which she spent with the royal family, including the King and Queen, at Sandringham in Norfolk.

The Duchess has already revealed to friends how she will pledge her time and profile to spur thousands of others to get checked before it is too late and in turn honour her close friend who died from the disease. Fergie’s friend Carolyn Cotterell, who she used to live with before her marriage to Prince Andrew in 1986, tragically died from skin cancer in 1999.

The duchess has tearfully discussed her friend’s tragic plight with her family previously and vowed to do more to raise awareness of the disease, a source said. Her father, Major Ronald Ferguson, was also diagnosed with skin cancer just months before his death from a heart attack in March 2003.

The Duchess’ health issues were announced in the same week it was revealed both King Charles and the Princess of Wales were undergoing treatment for their own health concerns. Kensington Palace shared in a statement last week that Kate had had abdominal surgery and would be off from royal duties until after Easter.

Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace separately released a statement to say the King would be undergoing a “corrective procedure” on an enlarged prostate later this week. Queen Camilla told well-wishers her husband was “fine” while at an engagement in Swindon on Monday.

She was seeking privacy at her Royal Windsor home with her children and Prince William. Her return was definitely one of the most anticipated events for royal followers, so watching Meghan allegedly trying to ‘overshadow’ irked many, and she was slammed by netizens for this business move.

Caratt, however, believes that Meghan had no role to play in this. She added, ‘She (Meghan) didn’t have any control over when Nacho would post them, and it didn’t overshadow anything.’ Nacho Figueras, a close friend of the Duke and a polo player who has been a familiar name in Harry’s inner circle since 2007, took to his Instagram to share jam and new dog biscuits hours ahead of the Trooping the Colour tradition, marking the monarch’s birthday. Now, insiders at Closer suggest that Meghan and Prince Harry extended an olive branch to her ahead of the event in an attempt to put an end to their ongoing feud.

This follows Harry’s revelations about moments of tension between Kate and Meghan in his explosive memoir Spare, which hit the shelves last year.

The source at Clooser revealed: “Meghan’s desperate to appear as the bigger person and put an end to this feud looking like some sort of royal peacemaker could only boost her image.”
