Loose Women star Ruth Langsford has received support from fans after she took to social media to share news that her mother has been hospitalised after falling over

Ruth Langsford has revealed that her beloved mother, Joan, has been rushed to hospital after suffering a fall.

The Loose Women star, 64, is now facing a different Christmas ahead as her mother has fractured her pelvis following a nasty fall. Joan has been rushed to hospital for treatment – with Ruth expressing her thanks that no surgery was required.

Sharing details of her family emergency via social media, Ruth uploaded a video clip of her mum happily chopping some vegetables in the kitchen. She wrote alongside the clip; “No dancing in my kitchen peeling the veg for my darling Mum this Christmas….

“She’s had a fall and fractured her pelvis! She’s ok…ish, no surgery required thank goodness but she needs rest and time to heal now. She’s in hospital at the moment but I’m hoping to get her home soon.”

“This time last year she fell and broke her hip but recovered well…she’s a very strong woman so I’m sure she’ll recover from this too. Put’s life and what’s important into perspective eh? Happy Christmas!”

Fans, followers and celebrity friends were quick to rally around Ruth to share support. Lizzie Cundy was among the first to express her support, writing: “Sending you so much love . Hoping Mum will be back dancing very soon .Sending huge hugs my darling.”

While a fan typed: “Oh Ruth so sorry to hear this and really hope you get her back and dancing along to Anton in your kitchen again soon. Much love.” And another wrote: “Bless her heart xxx I’m sure you’ll be looking after her well. Wishing her a speedy recovery X Sending you a big cuddle too.”

Ruth’s unfortunate news comes amid reports that her estranged husband, Eamonn Holmes, may have become engaged to his much younger girlfriend. The 65-year-old GB News host quickly moved on from Ruth after their 14-year marriage collapsed earlier this year to begin dating relationship therapist Katie Alexander, 43.

Eamonn and Katie sparked speculation they could be preparing to swap vows after she was spotted with a huge ring on her finger in Paris. A source told The Sun: “Eamonn has been talking openly about his plans to marry Katie and has made it clear he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. They’re already living together and he knows it feels right. They have a very strong connection and get on very well. She has given him a real lust for life and she looks after him.”

Eamonn and Katie began dating soon after he and Ruth announced their marriage was over in May this year – and the veteran TV host is said to be very happy with his new dating life. A source told the Daily Mail: “Katie certainly seems to be able to put a smile back on Eamonn’s face. They seem genuinely besotted with each other.”

Inside Strictly finalist Chris McCausland’s devastating diagnosis that left him blind at 22

Chris McCausland lost his sight completely by the age of 22 due to a hereditary condition called retinitis pigmentosa, a rare disease which slowly diminishes the retina’s function

Strictly Come Dancing finalist Chris McCausland will be taking to the dancefloor one last time this evening as he competes for the glitterball alongside four other celebrities.

The 47-year-old comedian and actor and professional dancer Dianne Buswell have charmed viewers on the TV show and have never once faced the dance-off. Despite being a novice dancer, Chris has impressed the public as well as the judges – also due to the fact that he lost his sight about 25 years ago.

At the age of 22, Chris was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a genetic eye condition which affects the light sensitive cells in the retina at the back of your eyes. This rare disease slowly diminishes the retina’s function, leading to a gradual lost of sight.

The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) says the first symptom you will notice is that you don’t see as well as other people without a sight condition in dim light, for example outside at dusk, or at night – which is commonly known as “night blindness”. While people without a sight condition can usually fully adapt to dim light in 15 to 30 minutes, those with RP find that it takes them much longer to adapt, or it doesn’t happen at all.

As RP progresses, you will start having problems seeing things in your peripheral vision, leaving a central narrow field of vision known as having “tunnel vision”. Since RP is a progressive condition, it means your vision will continue to get worse over the years.

Chris, who is now blind as he lost his sight completely by the age of 22, previously spoke about his condition to the i newspaper as he revealed: “My grandmother had it, and my mum. Basically, I’d been going blind very slowly since I was born, and so didn’t even really notice it happening. Like the frog in the pan of boiling water.”

He went on to describe his experience of blindness, saying: “They say that when you lose your sight, your hearing gets better. It doesn’t. But you do pay more attention to it. So when you’re sat at a beach resort, and you’re hot, and you can’t see what’s around you, then you just end up concentrating on how hot you actually are. I suffer more for it.”

Earlier this week, Chris said he was feeling “worn down” ahead of the Strictly final. In an honest admission, Chris confessed that he hadn’t recovered from the weekend and was struggling with his emotions. He explained that he felt “worn down” and “fell apart a bit” on Saturday.

Speaking on It Takes Two on Wednesday, he said: “I haven’t really truly recovered. It’s been an emotional few days this week for me. I feel worn down. My resilience has been worn down. I kind of fell apart a bit on Saturday, and I haven’t fully recovered, and then we’ve been training this week, and I’ve had a few wobbles. A few emotional wobbles. It’s incredible but I’m still feeling quite emotional.”

After they went through, Dianne and Chris took to social media to issue a joint statement. Dianne wrote: “We did it partner Strictly 2024 FINALISTS!!! You deserve this so much. Thank you for your friendship, kindness, and trust, doing this with you has been one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. We promise to do what we do every week in the final and that is try our very best and enjoy the moment because it’s such a special one.”

At the time, Chris also admitted that he was an “emotional wreck” and felt “overwhelmed”. He explained: “We learned the steps, and we did quite well. I can’t help but get emotional when I look at your face during that because you just look like you’re enjoying it so much. I’ll be honest, I got a bit emotional before.

“I’m weak at the minute, I’m emotionally weak. It doesn’t take much to set me off. We did the waltz before and the way it works on Saturday, we’re going to do our Couple’s Choice, then we’ll do our Show Dance. Then we’ll do the waltz. We rehearsed the waltz, and I realised that this is going to be the last dance that we do, and I imagined it all being over on Saturday and it being the last time we dance on the show and it upset me.” Chris will be competing alongside Sarah Hadland, Tasha Ghouri, and JB Gill this evening.

Meghan Markle under pressure as she’s told Netflix show is ‘make or break’ for her and Harry’s deal

Meghan Markle’s lifestyle show is reportedly the “last chance” for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to “save their deal” with Netflix, with sources claiming it is “make or break”

Meghan Markle is reportedly facing a crucial moment as her forthcoming cooking and lifestyle show is being touted as the “last chance” to salvage the Sussexes’ Netflix deal. Insiders, including an entertainment executive, have described the situation as “make or break” for Meghan and Harry, who have been living in the US since their Royal departure in 2020.

Daily Mail columnist Alison Boshoff commented in her column that “so much hangs on” Meghan’s culinary programme, particularly following the “apparent failure” of their recent five-part docuseries, ‘Polo’. Despite both Meghan and Harry serving as executive producers, ‘Polo’ has not impressed critics, with Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams branding it “dull” and Charlotte Griffiths from the Mail on Sunday dismissing it as a “load of old tosh”.

Regarding Meghan’s upcoming series, a Californian source reportedly told Boshoff: “It’s make or break. People say Netflix are exhausted.” They added: “It’s so much work with her and, bluntly, the ‘deliverable’ does not seem to be worth it.”

Another industry bigwig stated: “Her show will have to be an enormous hit to turn around their deal and their reputations in this town.”,

Meghan, aged 43, hinted at her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard earlier in March, with the show expected to align with her brand launch, as reported by the Express.

However, the series is conspicuously absent from Netflix’s January line-up, leading to speculation that it may be released in late February – following Prince Harry’s Invictus Games in Canada – or even in March. The couple inked the lucrative five-year deal with the streaming giant shortly after they stepped back from Royal duties and relocated to the US.

Meghan and Harry now live in Montecito, California, with their two children, Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.

ITV viewers fume as Dean McCullough lashes out at Melvin Odoom during I’m A Celeb reunion

Viewers of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Coming Out were left incensed by a tense confrontation between radio DJs Melvin Odoom and Dean McCullough

As viewers got their final I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here fix for this year’s series, they were left fuming over a tense clash.

As the campmates reconnected outside of jungle life, radio presenters Melvin Odoom and Dean McCullough’s reunion was a bit of a frosty one. Dean took Melvin to one side, and squared up to him for ‘upsetting’ him with the infamous ‘Houdini’ nickname on the show.

Fans online let their feelings be known. One furious Twitter /X user ranted: “Dean’s still pulling the “feel sorry for me card” even out of the jungle! Melvin called him Houdini… it was clearly a joke! He really needs to get a grip, #ImACeleb #imacelebrity”

Another added: “Nah im soo sick of dean how are you speaking to melvin like that…. fair enough if there’s no bad blood now but come on if you’re not pulling your weight somethings gonna get said lol #ImACeleb.” A third added a gif of Judge Judge rolling her eyes and commented: “Dean still not taking responsibility. Melvin should not have to ask him. The back lash is because he was a lazy ****** #ImACeleb”

The comments came after Melvin was seen trying to give his reasons for the jibe. As he did, Dean’s stoney look showed the star was less than impressed. Melvin and Dean were teamed up to collect water for the camp during their time on the ITV show, but Dean had plenty of complaints about the task. “It’s an awful job and I hate it and I don’t want to do it anymore… Guys I can’t. It’s not for me,” he moaned.

While Dean didn’t appear to be too upset by the jibes at the time, he confronted Melvin in the reunion show. After seeing their families, the duo bumped into each other. Dean said to his Radio 1 colleague: “I love how the whole Houdini popped off, the memes were brilliant.”

Melvin replied: “I don’t think people realised why that happened, I was busy doing the water thing, I just wanted you to help so I was thinking I’m just gonna drop this line with half the camp there, make everyone laugh.” But things turned as Dean said: “I wish you had told me, that upset me.” Melvin replied: “If I’m trying to give someone a message, I always use humour, that’s my number one way of communicating with people, that’s essentially my weapon, and that’s all that was.”

Dean bluntly admitted he felt it would have been better for Melvin to “take him to the side,” with Melvin reiterating that it was no big deal. Dean again hinted however that the moment had upset him.

This Morning’s Christmas party kicked off on Monday

Boozy, raucous festive songs were not on the menu for This Morning’s Christmas party as it quietly kicked off in a posh Chelsea pub on Monday evening.

The ITV show’s team gathered at James Blunt-owned gastropub The Fox and Pheasant for a cosy celebration in a secluded part of west London. There appeared to be an air of sombreness as the evening also marked editor Martin Frizell’s final Christmas with the team before his departure.

Among those pictured trudging to the venue for the three-course festive treat of smoked salmon, turkey and Christmas pudding were hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley. The pair – who were announced as Holly and Phil’s official replacements in February – made their way separately to the pub as they wrapped up warm in wool coats.

Ben, 49, appeared tired as he donned a pair of rectangular glasses and white jeans. While Cat, 48, appeared relaxed in a pair of baggy denim jeans and silk scoop-neck top as she cradled a black bag in the crook of her arm.

Alison Hammond, 49, also made sure to wrap up warm in an ankle-length puffer jacket and appeared to be in good spirits as she hugged her co-star on the way inside. Her Friday co-star Dermot O’Leary, 51, made his way to the bash alongside regular show guest Ashley James, who glittered in a purple sequined gown.

Josie Gibson, 39, appeared to have enjoyed a spot of shopping before the party as she swung a Selfridges bag by her side. Her busy schedule was clear to see as she dragged a suitcase along the pavement on the way to the do.

Also in attendance were Vanessa Feltz, Alice Beer and Phil Vickery, but there was one glaring absence – Gino D’Acampo. At the weekend, the Italian chef was accused of inappropriate behaviour towards a woman over five years. The unnamed woman lodged a complaint with ITV bosses last week. She reportedly worked with D’Acampo between 2006 and 2011.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘raise eyebrows’ with new controversial behaviour around Netflix show

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new Netflix show has made its debut – but it’s a far cry from the usual fanfare that follows Sussex projects

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s latest Netflix polo project has made a low-key debut, a departure from the usual high-profile launches associated with the Sussexes. The series surfaced without the expected promotional fanfare typically linked to their content.

Neither Meghan nor Harry participated in interviews to promote the show, choosing instead to step back from joint media appearances and attend events individually. Hollywood commentator Sean McNulty found the lack of a strong promotional drive for the Duke and Duchess’s series rather odd.

Speaking to The Daily Beast, he said: “The lack of a proper, visible press campaign for a series from Harry and Meghan raises an eyebrow to say the least.”

As Netflix appears to be directing its efforts towards other major content like Carry-On and stars Jamie Foxx and Sabrina Carpenter this week, McNulty suggested that the polo series “could very well disappear into the Netflix ether quite quickly”. Even the couple’s friends have been unusually quiet.

Nacho Figueras, a close friend linked with both the sport of polo and the couple’s new series, only posted a handful of tweets and a single Instagram story about it. A branding specialist warned that the lukewarm critical response to Harry and Meghan’s Netflix project could potentially affect their contract with the streaming giant, reports the Express.

Brand expert Nick Ede expressed his worries to MailOnline about the tepid response to Meghan and Harry’s latest documentary venture. He remarked: “The new polo documentary hasn’t received good reviews, and this is another foray into producing from Meghan and Harry.”

Ede underscored the importance of the documentary’s ranking in Netflix’s top ten, suggesting it could mirror the initial success of the Invictus documentary due to the public’s curiosity with the couple and the sport of polo.

He continued: “It could, like the Invictus documentary, start well due to the public’s fascination with the pair and with polo potentially.”

  • Meghan Markle’s favourite magazine turns on her with very scathing ‘can’t stop flopping’ review

Meghan Markle’s favourite magazine turns on her with very scathing ‘can’t stop flopping’ review

Meghan Markle’s ARO lifestyle brand has been mocked by critics and the Duchess of Sussex’s favourite magazine, The Cut, has now turned on her too with a brutal review of her Netflix show Polo

A magazine once favoured by Meghan Markle has seemingly turned against the Duchess of Sussex with a very scathing review.

The harsh article in The Cut was titled ‘Harry and Meghan’s Projects Can’t Stop Flopping’.

Pop culture news and entertainment writer Danielle Cohen commented on the couple’s “tortured attempts to launch a successful Stateside endeavour” which she wrote “continued this week” with the release of Polo on Netflix. The five-part series about Prince Harry’s favourite sport has been met with poor reviews, leading Cohen to predict: “Seems like this one is bound for the same fate as Markle’s beleaguered jam company.”

This critique comes shortly after The Cut highlighted the struggles faced by Meghan’s American Riviera Orchard “lifestyle brand”, which launched by gifting jars of strawberry jam to celebrities such as Kris Jenner and Chrissy Teigen.

This was followed by allegations that employees were leaving the new company, coupled with a trademark dispute from US food and gift company Harry and David, which sells Royal Riviera Pears. Olivia Craighead, who reports on pop culture and celebrity, wrote: “For Markle’s sake, I hope the next big story about ARO has the headline ‘Meghan Markle finally launches jam, ‘The best I’ve ever had,’ says King Charles.’ Maybe we’ll get a Christmas miracle.”

The negative coverage is significant given that The Cut, part of liberal New York Magazine, famously published a cover interview with the 43-year-old Duchess in August 2022, where she made derogatory comments about other members of the Royal family, reports the Scottish Daily Express.

Meghan Markle has openly expressed that she and Prince Harry were “happy” to leave the UK, disrupting the Royal hierarchy “upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy… just by existing”. In his conversation with the magazine, Harry hinted at the challenges within the family, saying some relatives “aren’t able to work and live together”.

The feature, titled ‘Meghan Markle on Her New Life in California’, showcased a series of photographs by Campbell Addy. Meghan later confessed to being “too trusting” and “too open” during her interview with The Cut, seemingly criticising the publication and interviewer Allison P Davis. The magazine also caused controversy by labelling King Charles as a “big, fussy baby and a jerk” regarding his conduct at his mother’s funeral and accused him of “mundane cruelty” towards Princess Diana.

Notably, following the Queen’s passing, The Cut published an incendiary piece headlined: ‘I Won’t Cry Over the Death of a Violent Oppressor.”

Prince Harry’s embarrassing blow as he lands unfortunate title for second year running

It has been reported that Prince Harry’s controversial memoir Spare has been awarded a less-than impressive title for the second year in a row after its release last year

Prince Harry has suffered a fresh blow before Christmas after it has emerged his memoir has been handed a less than impressive title for the second-year running.

The bombshell book, called Spare, was released in early 2023 and broke records as the fastest-selling tome of all time, containing explosive, private claims about the Royal Family. But for the second year in a row, it has been named as the most-traded in autobiography of 2024 – after also getting the unfortunate accolade last year.

It comes after We Buy Books, a website that buys unwanted second-hand books, said that Spare was its most traded in memoir for a second-year in a row, with even more readers traditing it in this year, compared to last.

    Prince Harry's memoir Spare

A spokesperson for the site said: “For the second year running, Prince Harry’s Spare is the most traded-in biography of 2024. This year, we purchased a total of 567 copies.” At the time of writing, if you are to trade in Spare, the website offers £3.77 for it. The same book is currently available to buy in Waterstones for £8.99.

Spare was first released in January 2023, sending shockwaves around the world. The Duke of Sussex used the tell-all book to make various claims about his family including that Prince William called his wife Meghan Markle ‘difficult’, ‘rude’ and ‘abrasive’ and pushed him into a dog bowl, that King Charles was jealous of the Prince and Princess of Wales and that Charles refused to allow Meghan to join her husband in Scotland as the late Queen was dying.

In October, a new paperback version of the book was released but tellingly it did not contain any new information or updated chapters, which is usual practice. Many had previously questioned whether Harry would offer up more bombshells in an updated version of Spare given so much has happened since the book was published in early 2023.

Since then both Charles and Kate have received cancer diagnoses, while Harry’s children Archie and Lilibet have both been given prince and princess titles. The paperback version wasreleased on October 22 in the United States and October 24 in the UK.

But since the release of Spare, things seem to have gone from bad to worse for relations between Harry and his father and older brother. When it comes to Harry and William, their feud, brewing before the book was released, has become even more frosty. It is understood the brothers last spoke at their grandmother the late Queen’s funeral in September 2022.

In addition, Harry raised eyebrows by not doing any promotion for the paperback version of the book, despite a big publicity tour when it was first released.

EXCLUSIVE: Strictly Star Chris McCausland REVEALS Emotional Pressure to Win for His daughter – ‘HER WORDS STAY WITH ME EVERY STEP!’ Fans are left teary-eyed as he opens up about his final dance and backstage struggles.

All of the Strictly finalists are desperate to lift the Glitterball trophy on Saturday evening.

But for the show’s first ever blind contestant Chris McCausland, he has got added pressure – from his 11-year-old daughter Sophie.

The Liverpool-born comic said when he first signed up for the dance contest his child was ‘terrified’ at the prospect of him taking part, but like audiences at home she was quickly won round.

Chris, 47, told Mail Online: ‘She started saying to me that she was really proud of what we’ve done and she’d say every Saturday, ‘It doesn’t matter if you go out Daddy, because I think you’ve already won.’

The TV star’s blindness has not stopped his increasingly technical dances attracting a string of high scores from the Strictly judges over the past 12 weeks.

But his success has now caused his daughter to revise her expectations.

Last week, Sophie told her father: ‘Daddy, do you know when I said it doesn’t matter? I’ve changed my mind. I think you can win this thing.’

Chris and his dance partner Diane Buswell will dance three routines – a show dance, the couple’s choice, and a Waltz – in Saturday’s last show of the season.

The pair admitted it has been an emotional week as they prepare to say goodbye to the show, with the comedian breaking down in tears during a ‘little wobble’.

Australian professional Diane, 35, said: ‘Yesterday during rehearsals I saw Chris’s eyes glistening over. I said, ‘Are you all right?’ He said: ‘I just had a vision that this will actually be our last dance on Saturday night. It makes me really sad.’ And then he and then he set me off. It will be sad. We’ve spent so much time together over these last three months.’

Chris added: ‘Our last dance is going to be our Waltz to You’ll Never Walk Alone. It’s an emotional song anyway, and I had this little thought of us ending the dance, and that being the end of everything we’ve done, and it just gets me emotional. I’ve been a mess this whole week.’

‘It’s been an incredible experience. It’s been exhausting, and it’s been the scariest thing I’ve ever done, but it’s certainly been the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done, and it’s the thing that’s gonna have the most lasting effect on me in terms of my outlook on the world and life.’

He added: ‘I can’t remember a life before Strictly. It literally feels like this is all I’ve ever done.’

Competing against Chris for the Strictly trophy are actress Sarah Hadland, JLS boyband singer JB Gill, and reality TV star Tasha Ghouri.

Chris said that when he started his ‘fear was immense’ and he had previously turned down the BBC flagship show.

He said: ‘I said no to this a few times because it was terrifying. I don’t mind doing things that are challenging. I like a challenge. I like new things. I’ve been out in the comfort zone, but I need to know that I can do good and represent myself and represent other people well.’

‘There was a huge doubt about that, and that first episode was terrifying, and it’s been terrifying every week, but just in different ways, maybe less so in different weeks.’

‘It’s got a little bit easier on the nerves, but they’ve always been there, and so just being able to know that I can kind of do things that are what you consider to be a little bit paralyzing, really, and a lot more resilience and determination than maybe I thought I even had.’

Chris and Diane have formed a special bond since appearing on the show which has made them firm favourites for the Glitterball, and Chris praised his partnership.

‘I think that whoever is in charge, I think they knew what they were doing, and I think they knew that Diane would be the best partner for me in terms of humour, her outlook on life where she comes from, just the similarities between us and her communication and just I think they just, they knew how good we would work together. And I’m so grateful for that. We hit the ground running.’

Chris said that when he started his ‘fear was immense’ and he had previously turned down the BBC flagship show

Chris joked that the pair sometimes had disagreements in rehearsals.

He said: ‘There’s been times where I’ve had to ask you to keep your mouth shut and I’d say, ‘I need some space between your voice and my face.” You can’t be in that intensive relationship between deadlines and not [need a break from each other].’

‘You have to have the respect for each other to kind of just turn away and have a little bit of distance and then come back with a smile on your face, because it’s intensive. It’s hard. There’s deadlines, deadlines, stress.’

Diane added: ‘I would like to think I’ve made you a little bit less moany at times. We’ve both helped each other a lot in this.’

The comedian, who will have fellow stand-up and friend Lee Mack in the audience on the weekend, also said he had a newfound appreciation for Strictly as he had never previously watched the show.

‘I didn’t appreciate it. It wasn’t on the radar. First time I heard the theme tune was in episode one. I didn’t watch the show obviously’

‘I had no emotional connection to it whatsoever. And it was other people telling me that they thought I should really give this some consideration.’

‘I’ve really come to appreciate what it is and the reach it has and how it matters to people. It’s the support we’ve had and the interaction it gets from the people at home, how it matters to people, how it lifts their moods, how it helps people overcome their own issues, just having that, it’s some people’s football in a way.’

‘And I appreciate that now, and I get that. And, you know, I wouldn’t want to get rid of football. People love it, and I appreciate it. People love this in the same way, and it matters to people.’

‘Look after it for generations to come. I think that’s a perfect sentiment.’

McFly star Tom Fletcher admits he’s the odd one out after Danny wins I’m A Celebrity

Dougie and Danny won the jungle, while Harry was crowned Strictly champ

McFly star Tom Fletcher has opened up about feeling like he’s “letting the side down” after his three bandmates each secured a victory on reality TV shows.

During an appearance on The One Show this week, Tom congratulated fellow band member Danny Jones on his recent win in I’m A Celebrity… and reflected on the pressure of being the only member of McFly without a reality show crown.

Tom Fletcher admits being odd one out

Speaking to hosts Roman Kemp and Lauren Laverne, Tom joked about being the odd one out in McFly’s winning streak.

“Well, we have two in the band. Dougie [Poynter] was King of the Jungle as well, and Harry [Judd] was the king of the dance floor,” he said, referencing Dougie’s 2011 I’m A Celeb win and Harry’s Strictly Come Dancing victory the same year.

He joked that he was the only one “letting the side down”.

Tom also acknowledged his wife, Giovanna Fletcher, who won I’m A Celebrity in 2020.

“And my wife won as well, yes, I’m literally the only one who hasn’t won a reality show. Thanks for reminding me,” he quipped.

Tom took part in Strictly in 2021. He was partnered with Amy Dowden and was the eighth celebrity to be eliminated. When asked if he would ever consider a return to reality TV, Tom admitted it would come with a lot of pressure.

“Well, I can’t now. There would just be the most immense pressure on me to try and win it.”

Despite his reluctance to join a reality show, Tom shared how much he enjoyed watching his bandmates compete.

“To be honest, I love it when my friends are on the shows because it’s the highlight of my year. Sitting back and watching Danny was absolutely brilliant – it was the highlight of our year, and he did so well. It was brilliant watching him.”

    Danny’s illness

Danny, who was crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity… last week, spoke emotionally about his time in the jungle.

Reflecting on the experience, Danny said: “I’ve had some of the hardest times I’ve ever had and some of the highest of highs.”

The singer also expressed gratitude for the support he received from fans.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” He gushed. “I gave my all in there, gave myself, and it’s a lovely feeling to be liked.”

The McFly star recently revealed that he fell ill after ignoring doctor’s advice on how to re-adjust to life after the jungle.

In a series of Instagram clips, Danny admitted that he immediately overindulged on food – which left him “really ill”.

“That night I was really ill, like really ill. Up all night,” he shared. “So the next morning I went a bit more gentle with some fruit. Anyway, this morning, I feel better.”
