According to The Mail on Sunday, the prince has been consulting people “from his old life” as a working royal after reportedly becoming dissatisfied with advice recieved from US-based PR experts.

It comes after he and wife Meghan Markle parted ways with yet another American PR adviser only weeks after their chief of staff quit three months into his role.

A source has shared how the prince is “seeking counsel from his old friends and associates”, according to MailOnline. They added: “He is clearly reaching out thinking, ‘I need to do something different because what I’m doing is clearly not working.’ In short, he is rethinking the way he operates.”

The source added the pal “believes if Harry comes back to the UK with zero fuss, and does zero publicity and attends very mundane events, he could prove himself and win over the British public again.”

It was suggested that Prince Harry has been unhappy in LA after he returned to America following a trip to Nigeria with Meghan Markle in May.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted at the airport in Los Angeles following a mammoth 18-hour flight, with Harry looking downcast walking behind Meghan. Royal expert Tom Quinn said Harry seemed upset and suggested it could have been linked to his brief UK visit in May, where he had hoped to visit his father King Charles, but the monarch was reportedly too busy.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Tom said: “Harry tried desperately to put a brave face on it during his recent visit to the UK, but his real feelings were apparent when he landed back in Los Angeles. It was impossible not to see how downcast and upset he looked.

“And it’s no surprise because he had hoped to see his father, and for a good deal longer than their 30-minute meeting last time he was in the UK.”

Christine Weil Schirmer, who had previously worked for Apple and Pinterest, was already head of communications at the Sussexes’ charity Archewell, but began overseeing the couple’s publicity in 2020. It has now emerged that Schirmer left the role ‘quietly late last year’.

It makes her the tenth staff member to have left the pair in the last three years. Several have now left the pair since they first moved to California, including their chief of staff Josh Kettler, who shockingly quit his role three months in. A former employee said: “What may be most telling is that the entire time I worked there, I don’t think I heard a single current or former employee on their staff say they would take the job again if given the chance.

“These aren’t employees they had just found off the streets. Many of them are people who had previously excelled working for demanding bosses in high-performance companies and environments.”

“The absence of a single Sussex from the 2019 assemblage of significant royal faces in the Queen’s Christmas broadcast appeared to reflect a deliberate decision on her part. She would be providing no brand endorsement opportunities this year for Sussex Royal,” the expert wrote. Lacey added: “It was unheard of for the royal Christmas desk not to feature a cosy image of the latest royal grandchild or great-grandchild. But in 2019 there was no sight of Harry and Meghan’s six-month-old son, Archie.

“A brief video clip flashed on screen during the broadcast showing the Queen and Meghan’s mother Doria cluck-clucking over the little boy, but there was no name-check. The Queen simply acknowledged the arrival of her great-grandchild in passing, without mentioning his name or his parents: ‘Prince Philip and I have been delighted to welcome our eighth great-grandchild into our family.’ This was the Queen’s only reference to the new arrival and his parents in her 2019 address to the world — an anonymous ‘eighth great-grandchild’.” Instead, on the desk were photographs of the late Queen’s father, King George VI, Charles and Camilla, and Prince William, Kate and their three children: George, Charlotte, and Louis.

Ken Wharfe, who protected the mother-of-two for years while serving as a Scotland Yard officer, has opened up about his views on how Diana would have felt about her ex-husband marrying the now Queen Consort Camilla Parker Bowles.

But while attempting to keep up appearances – spending almost £120k on jewellery and new clothes – the former actress’ fashion is said to have offended First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

During a speech to mark President Bola Tinubu’s first year in office, after the Sussexes had landed back in the US, Tinubu appeared to make a sly dig at Meghan.

Addressing crowds, Tinubu said girls and women in Nigeria “do not want to mimic and try to emulate film stars from America” with their “nakedness”.

She added: “The message here is we have to salvage our children. We see the way they dress.

“They keep forgetting that Nigeria, we are beautiful. You can see what they showcase on the stage, I said, ‘We are fashionable, we see what is going on’.

“We are not having the Met Gala. And everyone, the nakedness, is just everywhere and the men are well-clothed.

“So we have to do something. Tell them we don’t accept nakedness in our culture. That is not beautiful. It’s not beautiful at all.

“And they’re all beautiful girls, but they should be confident in who they are.

“They do not want to mimic and try to emulate film stars from America. They don’t know where they come from.

Given the extreme levels of poverty in Nigeria, the American has been slammed.

Speaking at an event in the capital Abuja, the duchess said: “I want to start by saying thank you very much for just how gracious you’ve all been in welcoming my husband and I to this country… my country

“I am just flattered and honoured and inspired. It has been a whirlwind 24 hours since we arrived.

“And I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more colour, so I can fit in with all of you and your incredible fashion.”

The Duchess of Sussex recently discovered she was 43 per cent Nigerian, according to a genealogy test.

The next day, Harry tried his hand at basketball, before they finished up their trip at a charity polo match.

They also unveiled a partnership between their Archewell Foundation and the non-profit Giants of Africa, which aims to empower young people through sport.

But in the hours that followed the charity hit headlines after it was reportedly declared “delinquent” and ordered to stop raising money.

It was alleged the charity did not file its 2022 tax return or related costs on time.

However, the docs were filed and the cheque sent but it never arrived, reported The Telegraph.

The Sussexes’ charity last week broke its silence on the alleged cash woes saying it is “fully compliant”.

A spokesperson said: “We have diligently investigated the situation and can confirm that The Archewell Foundation remains fully compliant and in good standing.

 

 

“Due payments were made promptly and in accordance with the IRS’s processes and procedures.

“Furthermore, all necessary paperwork had been filed by the Foundation without error or wrongdoing.”

This was a meeting with young leaders of the Commonwealth when Harry and Meghan were still working royals. They were chatting outdoors, taking turns to share their ideas, and then, this moment happened. They are in a sort of circle, Harry is the one talking at that moment, and we can guess that everyone was listening to him. Way to go, Harry! We are used to Meghan’s mask slipping, when she is trying to come across as nice and then, for a split second, she displays an entirely different emotion. But these 30 seconds have a special ingredient that we have not seen before. One of the characteristics of that special ingredient happens right at the beginning of the clip.

This is right before Harry begins to talk. There’s a woman we cannot see because she has her back to the camera and she’s talking to the Sussexes. We can spot that both Harry and Meghan are looking directly into her eyes. Well, there’s the issue that both of them look really tense in their facial expressions. Meghan is trying to smile but she’s failing, and Harry is showing some disgust. We don’t know what the topic is, but let’s guess that it’s something delicate or controversial, and maybe that’s why they display those faces.

If this is a meeting of young leaders of the Commonwealth, they could be talking about specific challenges of their nations, that could be concerning or controversial topics. But then, Meghan does this.

I’m sure you spotted this gesture right at the beginning, or the first time you saw the clip. She gave that up and down look that was… a bit mean. Well, it could happen that the woman was holding something in her hands and she was showing it, or making a reference with a hand gesture, and it would make sense to look at her midsection or her hands. Because the woman was actually gesturing at that moment. But both Harry and the man behind them never looked down. So there was no explicit reason to give that look to the woman. Also, there is a big difference when someone turns their head and eyes purposefully at the same time, and something really different is when someone keeps their head fixed and just lowers their gaze. You know, like scanning and scrutinizing the other person.

Of course, this can also happen by accident if you’re establishing eye contact and want to rest your eyes for a split second, make sure you do it to the sides to avoid these kinds of looks on other people. But that’s when Harry begins to talk, and this happens.

It’s important to remember that when Meghan talks, or she’s giving a public speech, or the spotlight is on her in any way, she always has her face muscles relaxed. The moment someone else begins to talk, or interrupts her, or upsets her presence in any way, this is the same pattern all the time

First of all, the tension in her jaw. You can spot jaw tension in many ways, especially in the way the sides of the jaw, the jaw muscles, tense. This is easier to spot in people with thinner fat layers on their faces or overall low body fat because the jaw muscles are more noticeable. But there’s also that chin jut, that is visible when the person projects their chin forward. That is a very easy signal to spot and interpret because the meaning is almost always concealed anger or frustration. By all means, a chin jut signals a strong emotion at the moment.

But it’s not only the jaw projection. It’s also the fact that she’s moving her lips at the same time and showing her lower teeth.
