Meghan and Harry’s rift with the Royal Family is deepening. Most recently, in a 6,400-word magazine article, Meghan took a series of explicit swipes at the Royal Family, warning that she could ”say anything” now that she was out.

Meghan Markle also revealed that Harry felt he had “lost” his father, Prince Charles, when he stepped down from royal duties. Meghan told The Cut magazine: ”Harry said to me, ‘I lost my dad in the process’. ‘It doesn’t have to be the same for them as it is for me, but it was his decision.’

“There seems to be some confusion in some headlines about this quote from The Cut’s interview,” journalist Omid Scobie, who co-wrote a flattering biography of the Sussexes and is close to the couple, told The Cut. When asked about the confusion over the duchess’ comments, the magazine declined to comment.

In another statement from Meghan, the duchess revealed the couple were forced to leave the UK to do what they love.
