Atouching public display of affection (PDA) shared between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their visit to Canada to mark the one-year waypoint to the 2025 Invictus Games has won praise from fans on social media.

The duke and duchess embarked on a three-day visit to Whistler and Vancouver on February 14, to attend a series of events in preparation for next year’s games which will be the first to include winter sports such as adaptive skiing.

The games support and showcase the rehabilitation of wounded, sick and injured ex-armed forces veterans through sports and have formed the core working output of Prince Harry since he co-founded the initiative in 2014.

Since he first started dating Meghan in 2016, Harry has included his wife in a number of appearances connected with Invictus. They made their first joint public appearance at the 2017 games in Toronto, and she has attended every major tournament in some way since then. Meghan also featured in Harry’s Heart of Invictus Netflix docuseries which aired in 2023.

On Wednesday, the couple attended the Invictus Games “One Year To Go” training camp in Whistler. Harry took part in some adaptive sports drills in the snow, supported by Meghan as they also met with organizers and participants.

“The Cutest couple,” one TikTok user wrote of the moment highlighted in a post uploaded by user harry.nd.meghan, with another adding: “Oh Canada! Where all the magic began. I love this for them.”

Meghan made a stylish appearance for the occasion wearing a chic new Calvin Klein coat styled with a black knitted beanie hat and boots by the American all-terrain brand, SOREL.

The couple’s visit to Canada marks their first joint public appearance since they attended a premiere screening of the biopic Bob Marley: One Love with movie executives in Jamaica in January.

Harry and Meghan’s entertainment industry careers as content creators producing docuseries and podcasts has become a subject of increased public interest in recent days.

On February 13, Meghan announced through the couple’s newly branded “Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex” website that she has signed a new podcasting deal with the audio network, Lemonada.

“I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting,” Meghan said in a statement. “Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.”

The duchess will re-release her 12-episode Archetypes podcast through the network onto open platforms and will record a new show, details of which have yet to be announced.
