Pamela had appeared on hit series Baywatch for 10 years as cafe owner Kaye Morgan. She also featured on shows such as Knight Rider, Cheers, The Fall Guy, TJ Hooker and the Young and the Restless.
It was on the set of Knight Rider that Pamela met David. They ended up getting married in 1989 and stayed together until 2006. They filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair share two children together, Hayley and Taylor Ann. Following David and Pamela’s contentious divorce, they both got custody of one daughter.
Following the news of her death, daughter Hayley took to her Instagram Stories to share a throwback post of her mum and dad smiling. The image is thought to show them together at Universal Studios Hollywood at the opening of the Jurassic Park ride in 1996. Alongside the photo – which was part of a post by another account from 2023 that she shared on the platform – model Hayley added a white heart emoji.
Pamela also has one granddaughter named London. The actress had shared her gratitude for her grandchild in her last Instagram post. As the new year chimed in, Pamela wrote: “As we step into 2025, my heart is full of gratitude, especially for my precious grandbaby, London.” She continued: ” Watching her grow and seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing. My wish for all of you this year is health, happiness, and an abundance of love. May 2025 be filled with beautiful moments, laughter, and all the blessings your hearts can hold. Here’s to a year of making cherished memories, spreading joy, and embracing every precious moment!”
She shared a sweet video of her grandchild and also an image of herself standing beside a lavish Christmas tree. She also took to her daughter Hayley’s Instagram page seemingly hours before her death. On her daughter’s post in which she is seen getting her makeup done, Pamela simply shared an emoji face with love heart eyes.
Following the news of her passing, fans took to social media with messages of condolence. On Twitter/X, one user wrote: “RIP Pamela Bach Hasselhoff I will miss you,” alongside a broken heart emoji and an image of the star. Another wrote: “I went to school with Pamela. She was very beautiful and sweet at that time. Her mother reminded me of Jane Austen’s Mrs Bennet, Pride & Prejudice, who had the additional challenge of being divorced when it was very rare. Pamela was her hope. Godspeed.”
