Victoria Beckham celebrated the New Year with a sweet cuddle from her husband David after narrowly saving herself from a wardrobe malfunction after a last minute emergency.

Victoria and David Beckham rung in the New Year together at their London abode with almost all of their children gathered around.

The loved-up couple made a fashionable display despite their lowkey celebrations, but the evening wasn’t as smooth sailing as the former Spice Girl might’ve hoped.

Moments before the celebrations started, Victoria was faced with a wardrobe malfunction that even required the help of an assistant as she candidly shared the chaos on her Instagram story.

The fashion designer shared in a video with her 32 million followers, as her assistant steamed out wrinkles from the gown in the background: “So, I’m just getting ready to go out tonight and there’s a last-minute steaming situation going on here.

“It’s getting hot up there!”

Taking to her Instagram story later in the evening, 12-year-old Harper made an appearance for a sweet mother-daughter selfie as they posed in their lavish dresses in Victoria’s wardrobe mirror.

Sharing snaps from later in the evening, once her wardrobe blunder was taken care of, the fashion designer made a jaw-dropping appearance in a £1,450 emerald green dress from her own range that accentuated her curves as she clung onto her husband’s shoulder in one snap.

The 49-year-old shared a number of shots of her lavish gown after narrowly avoiding the last-minute wardrobe malfunction, flaunting her enviable curves in the figure-hugging number.

The former footballer donned a dashing navy blue suit, a matching tie and pocket handkerchief along with some tinted sunglasses and smart brown dress shoes.

Victoria also shared her love for David and her children Romeo, Harper and Cruz who joined the couple’s New Year’s celebration, with a small note for her eldest son Brooklyn who spent the evening with his wife, Nicola Peltz.

In the snaps, Cruz, who has just turned 18, could be seen enjoying his first New Year’s drinks as he lived up the evening with his dad and brother.

21-year-old Romeo brought his model girlfriend, Mia Regan, home for the holidays as the lovebirds could be seen adorably posing on the staircase just like his parents.
