‘That right hand was coming all night!’ Fans notice Anthony Joshua warming up with the same shot that floored Francis Ngannou in just two rounds as praise piles in for AJ

Fans were quick to notice Anthony Joshua warming up with the same shot he used to floor Francis Ngannou in just two rounds.

In a clip shared on Sky Sports Boxing, Joshua is seen with a dominant right hand hitting the pads with coach Ben Davison.

Speaking after the victory, Joshua praised his coach: ‘The Ben Davison performance centre [is the reason for my improvement]. I’m hungry, stay hungry and all that good stuff.

After being knocked down three times in the match, the final blow sent Ngannou crashing onto the canvas.

Ngannou’s leg folded as he collapsed in the middle of the ring, utterly demolished by one of the most dominant right hands in the ring.

‘AJ was practicing that exact shot time and time again in the dressing room. Game plan played to perfection’ another penned.

One responded: ‘Honestly I wasn’t expecting him to get knocked out too, but if you watch Joshua hitting the pads backstage, he was punching through not just at the pad. It’s really impressive’.

‘That right hand was coming the whole night. Ben Davison you genius’ another praised.

‘They were practising the shot back stage, fairs’ a fifth wrote.
