Mike Tyson shared his thoughts on a potential fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
Mike Tyson gave a brutally honest answer when asked to predict a potential fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
Fury and Joshua are on a potential collision course as they face Oleksandr Usyk and Francis Ngannou respectively in the coming months.
The self-proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’ meets Usyk in a blockbuster undisputed clash next month, while ‘AJ’ faces Ngannou in a monstrous fight in March.
Should they win their respective bouts, an all-British showdown could be made for this year in a fight years in the making.
He thinks Fury is ‘too elusive’ for Joshua as he compared the former unified world heavyweight champion to Deontay Wilder.
“I love Joshua, but I think Tyson’s too elusive – he’s not going to hit him,” he said via The Mac Life.
“We’re keeping it honest right? I like Joshua a lot and Joshua maybe punches harder than Wilder, but he doesn’t punch faster than Wilder.
‘Iron’ Mike added: “That’s just what I see. He punches hard, but he doesn’t punch fast. If Tyson Fury can get away from Wilder’s fast punches, then Joshua might be in trouble.”
Tyson himself is no stranger to gigantic fights, having competed against the likes of Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis during his legendary career, so he knows what he’s talking about.

Fury vs. Joshua has been mooted for some time now but has yet to come to fruition.
However, with the influence of Saudi Arabia adviser Turki Alasheikh, the long-awaited meeting between the two British stars could finally happen if they win their next fights.
