Mike Tyson expertly breaks down how he'd defeat unbeaten Tyson Fury and become world champion again

Mike Tyson has explained how he’d defeat reigning WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in a dream super-fight.

Fury is one of the best boxers on the planet and hasn’t lost a fight in his professional career.

‘The Gypsy King’ defeated Deontay Wilder in 2020 to claim the WBC crown. He’s since defended the title against Wilder, Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora.

Next month, he’ll go toe-to-toe with WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk to determine an undisputed heavyweight champion.

Boxing legend Tyson will be watching the fight closely and believes Fury will come out on top.

He told FightHub TV: “I’m gonna look forward to that fight. I’m going with Tyson Fury, I think he’s going to overpower him, catch up with him and overpower him, that’s what I think but I could be wrong.”

‘Iron Mike’ dominated world boxing during the 1980s, winning the world championship at 20 years old.

His invincible-like stature came to an end following a shock defeat to Buster Douglas in 1990.

The 57-year-old keeps a close eye on the current heavyweight division and believes he knows exactly how to defeat Fury.

Speaking to Ring Magazine in 2020, Tyson explained: “Against someone of Tyson Fury’s size, you’ve got to be aggressive, move your head and be elusive because if you stand still against a man that size, you’re an easy target.

“You need to attack, use angles and stay away from his punching distance. You need to be close, but you can’t stay at a distance that allows the bigger fighter to get off.”

‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ went on to break down why Fury’s personality is as important to his success as his size and power.

Tyson added: “Size and style isn’t the most important thing in the ring; it’s the morale of a fighter that leads to victory.

“His determination, his will to win, his desire is what makes him a champion.

“But at my best, I thought I was the greatest fighter from Achilles, through the Art of War, since the beginning of God, since the beginning of time — I was invincible.”
