Mike Tyson Expertly Breaks Down How He Would BEAT Undefeated Champ Tyson Fury In A Dream Fight

Mike Tyson insisted that he would adopt an “aggressive” and “elusive” boxing style to overcome WBC champ Tyson Fury in a dream super-fight.

Fury maintained his undefeated record last Saturday with a vicious 11th-round knockout win over fierce rival Deontay Wilder at the T-Mobile Arena.

The 33-year-old Brit superstar was knocked down twice by Wilder in the fourth, but climbed off the canvas to successfully defend the WBC title in Las Vegas.

Boxing legend Tyson, 55, praised both Fury and Wilder for delivering on the “action and excitement” in their epic heavyweight trilogy fight.

The American superstar was widely revered for his invincible-like status during the 1980s, which came to an end with Buster Douglas’ sensational KO win in 1990.

Tyson methodically broke down his tactics for a hypothetical showdown with Fury and stressed the importance to be “close” to him and not “stay at a distance.”

Speaking to Ring Magazine in 2020, Iron Mike said: “Against someone of Tyson Fury’s size, you’ve got to be aggressive, move your head and be elusive because if you stand still against a man that size, you’re an easy target.

“You need to attack, use angles and stay away from his punching distance. You need to be close, but you can’t stay at a distance that allows the bigger fighter to get off.”

He added: “Size and style isn’t the most important thing in the ring; it’s the morale of a fighter that leads to victory.

“His determination, his will to win, his desire is what makes him a champion.

“But at my best, I thought I was the greatest fighter from Achilles, through the Art of War, since the beginning of God, since the beginning of time — I was invincible.”

Fury landed back in the UK with his entourage on Wednesday and is expected to take a break before returning to the squared circle for his next fight.

John Fury once revealed which boxing legend could beat Tyson Fury, says he would cause ‘problems’ for him

The Gypsy King’s father, John Fury, wants his son to challenge unified champ Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed crown.

But Usyk will first need to face Anthony Joshua, who he defeated in September, for a second time after the two-time former unified champ invoked his rematch clause.

Fury’s path to a unification clash with the winner of Usyk vs AJ will likely require him to face a WBC mandatory challenger.

It is anticipated that the WBC will force the Briton to defend his title against the winner of Dillian Whyte vs Otto Wallin, which will take place on 30th October.
