KSI breaks silence after losing the first fight of his boxing career to Tommy Fury

KSI has broken his silence on social media after suffering a crushing defeat to Tommy Fury last night.

KSI vs Fury topped a bumper Misfits Boxing card in Manchester on Saturday.

But the YouTube star, who was making his first appearance in a boxing ring since May, lost a close decision on fight night.

Fury edged out KSI by majority decision, having had a point deducted in the second round for another shot to the back of his opponent’s head.

An error on the scorecards has since been spotted following the result.

KSI has now taken to social media to reflect on the first defeat of his boxing career.

On X, he wrote: “Appreciate all the kind messages from everyone. In the ring and watching it back I feel like I should have won. Either way I feel like I accomplished what I wanted to in the end.

“This little untalented nerd was able go toe to toe with a professional boxer,” he added. “Use me as the living proof that hard work and self belief can get you anywhere in this life.”

The 30-year-old influencer won his only previous bout as a professional against now-business partner Logan Paul. He has fought eight times in total, with five wins, one draw, one no-contest and now one loss.

Shortly after KSI’s post online, Jake Paul once again took aim at his rival.

“Nagh son….your entire goal was to show the world you are better than me,” he tweeted. “You repeated that like 690 times in the lead up. You didn’t accomplish shit other than prove no one should take you serious as a boxer.”
