John Fury wants to fight Mike Tyson

WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury will step into the ring against former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou this October 28. It is a long-announced fight that has attracted a lot of public attention. Francis Ngannou hired Mike Tyson, one of the greatest boxing legends in history, to train him and improve his footwork.

Surely that fact caused even more attention for this match, because the name Mike Tyson itself causes attention. The father of WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury talked about the upcoming fight. He expressed his admiration for Mike Tyson, but he is sure of his son’s victory.

There were rumors that he could have an exhibition match against Mike Tyson as his son’s pre-fight. Surely that match would attract a lot of attention, almost as much as the main match. The crowd likes to see exhibition fights, especially when it comes to older retired fighters.

And Mike Tyson himself would call many spectators to watch this fight.“Why wouldn’t I not speak to Mike Tyson,” Fury said in an interview with Seconds Out. “I love the guy, I named my son after him.

John Fury: I’m a fighting man.

I’m old but I’m a fighting man. He’s a fighting man

John Fury continued about his son’s training but also praised the Frenchman who has steel hands. Surely everyone would like to see that match between him and Iron Mike due to the fact that many people would like to see Tyson back in the ring.“If he wants to fight me on the undercard he can, no problem”.

The 59-year-old added. “I’m a fighting man. I’m old but I’m a fighting man. He’s a fighting man. He’s old. We’re two geriatrics. If he wants to fight me and I want to fight him, which I do, I’ve made it quite clear, we can do it.

I’ve been knocked out before, doesn’t make any difference to me, as long as we can entertain the paying public and put smiles on their faces, that’ll do me”. as quoted by lowkickmma.
