Dillon Danis reveals how much he was paid for Logan Paul fight after being disqualified

Dillon Danis has revealed how much he was paid for his fight against Logan Paul on the Misfits Boxing Prime card.

The bout, which took place on Saturday at the AO Arena, Manchester, saw Danis disqualified after the final bell following an attempted MMA guillotine choke move on his opponent.

Paul had done enough to win on points anyway, however, with Danis criticised for his lack of offence during the bout.

In six rounds, the MMA fighter landed just nine punches – and his evening ended with Danis kickstarting a brawl that eventually involved security, the entourages of both fighters and even Jake Paul.

Danis’ next steps are unclear, but he has revealed he earned a cool payday for his disqualification defeat to Paul while speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

The 30-year-old states he earned over $1 million – but may not be able to keep all of it.

Danis was slammed and called a ‘coward’ by Paul after his performance in the fight, with ‘The Maverick’ exclaiming in his post-fight interview: “He’s supposed to be good at jiu-jitsu, what happened? Stuffed the takedown, tried that. Tried to do the guillotine. I’m sorry I missed that hammerfist. Oh that would have been good.

“I’m sorry it ended that way. Dillon Danis truly is a coward. Just a dirty, dirty human being.

“I forgave Dillon before this fight started. It was the only way to attack this fight without emotion trying to kill him, trying to be aggressive. But damn, he called himself a real fighter. What are we talking about, a real fighter?”

After the match, Paul called out WWE veteran Rey Mysterio for a United States Championship match.

‘The Maverick’ is booked to appear on this week’s SmackDown, ahead of a slated title match between the pair at the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
