David Beckham left star struck from ‘bucket list moment’ after meeting an all-time tennis great Andre Agassi in Miami: ‘Wow, what a morning!’

Inter Miami owner David Beckham says he knocked something off his bucket list when he met tennis legend Andre Agassi in south Florida this week.

Beckham posted a photo of him standing next to the 53-year-old American on a tennis court .

‘Bucket list moment,’ Beckham said in the caption. ‘As a kid I had the racket, the over sized shorts, the walk & the hair and now I got to meet the man.

‘WOW what a morning & I got to see that backhand @agassi Thank you’.

Beckham appeared to be introduced to Agassi by his friend, Miami restaurant owner and tennis enthusiast David Grutman, who shared a picture of the two together on Instagram with the caption: ‘Goat talk!’.

Agassi is in south Florida to watch the Miami Open – with the eight time Grand Slam winner spotted watching the women’s final between Danielle Collins and Elena Rybakina.

Tomorrow is the men’s singles final between world No. 3 player Jannik Sinner and world No. 12 player Gregor Dmitrov.

Agassi previously coached Dmitrov from 2018-2020.

As for Beckham, his Inter Miami side play a home match this evening against New York City FC.

The Herons have played six matches so far having won two, lost two, and drawn one in their last five games.

They’ll look to rebound after their most recent match – an embarrassing 4-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls, where former Miami player Lewis Morgan bagged a hat trick.
