Danielle Lloyd reveals David Beckham nearly ran her over leaving her feeling 'mortified and embarrassed'

Danielle Lloyd has revealed David Beckham nearly ran her over.

Speaking to the My Dirty Laundry podcast, the model and mother-of-five, 40, said she was ‘mortified and embarrassed’ when it happened but admitted it was all her fauly.

She said: ‘So something that happened to me back in the day was that I nearly got run over by David Beckham, which was quite funny, but embarrassing at the same time.

‘I remember the day, it was really raining really badly. And I ran out into the road to try and get across the road really quickly.

‘Thankfully he didn’t run me over, but he put the window down and was like, “Oh, are you okay?”‘

She continued: ‘I felt like I couldn’t even speak because obviously it was David Beckham and I was just mortified. Honestly, I was mortified’

She continued: ‘I felt like I couldn’t even speak because obviously it was David Beckham and I was just mortified. Honestly, I was mortified.

‘But I remember the rain. It was really raining badly, but the sun still looked like it was shining on his face.’

Danielle said while the moment happened some time ago, David was already with his now wife Victoria at this point.

Calling him ‘handsome’ she admitted that she also has a bit of a soft spot for Victoria too after watching their eponymous Netflix documentary.

She said: ‘I just loved it. I was like literally obsessed with it. And I feel like she came across really, really well.

‘She made herself more approachable, I think on the show. I feel like she just, like, you see the different sides for what I really, really liked.’

But Danielle said that she won’t be letting the cameras into her own home anytime soon.

She said: ‘I think I’m pretty boring day to day anyway. I go to the gym, look after the kids and I don’t do anything too exciting.’

And referring to the moment Victoria claimed to have had a ‘working class’ upbringing, despite her dad owning a Rolls Royce, Danielle joked: ”And my dad didn’t have a Rolls Royce either. So I’ve got nothing exciting to say.’
