Brooklyn Beckham plans to be ‘young dad’ as he lifts lid on future wife Nicola Peltz

Brooklyn Beckham has revealed his plans for fatherhood and what he wants to achieve with his children.

The 25-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham has said that he want to be a “young dad” and take his offspring around the globe with him, as he travels the world. The amateur photographer and YouTube chef has opened up about being a dad to People and said: “I’ve always wanted to be a young dad, and I always want to be able to take my kids wherever I go.”

Brooklyn is no stranger to travelling the world as his parents have made their lives on both sides of the Atlantic and this is something that he wants for his children too, when he and wife Nicola Peltz, 29, decide to start a family. Brooklyn said: “So it’s definitely something I want to pass down to my kids.”

When speaking to InStyle, Brooklyn said that he is hoping that children will be happening sooner rather than later. He revealed: “But, obviously, [it’s] up to my wife. My wife really wants kids as well. So soon, hopefully.”

Brooklyn also revealed that their children would have combined surnames when they arrive, explaining: “I wanted to honor my wife’s last name as well, and we thought about it for so long and we were just like, ‘When we have kids, we would love to have little Peltz-Beckhams running about,’ I just thought it was a cute idea to have both, two last names.”

Brooklyn and Nicola were married in 2002, in a ceremony at her family’s estate in Palm Springs, Florida, and she told People earlier this year: “I can’t believe we’ve been married two years. He really is my best friend. And I know that sounds silly, but that’s how I feel.”

Nicola added: “Everyone is always like, ‘Oh, what does being married feel like?’ This is genuinely how I feel. I feel like when you’re on a sleepover or a play date, and it’s like, ‘Oh, can they sleep over again?’ And you just are on a never-ending sleepover play date. That’s how we feel.”
