Brooklyn Beckham goes solo at Met Gala but ‘pays tribute’ to wife Nicola Peltz in outfit

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham attended the Met Gala this week without his Nicola Peltz Beckham and he shared with fans that he was “missing” her as his date for the fashion event.

The annual occasion returned to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Monday evening and Brooklyn, 25, was among the celebrities in attendance. He however went to it without his wife Nicola, 29, who was absent.

Nicola was instead spending time with her grandmother Bunny, 95, who is referred to as her ‘naunni’. Her absence was confirmed in posts on social media and Brooklyn was seen without her in photos taken at the art museum.

Brooklyn – who’s the eldest of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s four children – opted to wear a white suit for the occasion. The outfit included a waistcoat, jacket and trousers, which he accompanied with a pair of black shoes.

He accessorised with gold jewellery including a bracelet. Brooklyn also sported a gold necklace, which is said to have resembled cupid, with it having been reported by the Daily Mail that it was an apparent tribute to his wife Nicola.
