Late Queen’s Secret Letter Demands Exile for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
A purported secret letter from the late Queen Elizabeth II has recently emerged, igniting a firestorm of controversy. According to reports, the letter allegedly conveys the Queen’s deep disappointment with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, whom she referred to as traitors who had betrayed the institution and the people she dedicated her life to serving.

The letter, which has not been officially verified, is said to have been drafted by the Queen’s most senior aide, Sir Edward Young. In the correspondence, the Queen is purportedly described as feeling used and exploited by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, accusing them of leveraging their royal titles to advance their own fame and fortune at the expense of the Windsor reputation.

This explosive revelation has rekindled the ongoing tensions between the royal family and the Sussexes, with many royal enthusiasts and critics condemning Meghan Markle as the primary antagonist in this unfolding saga. The alleged letter suggests that the Queen believed Prince Harry had been manipulated by Meghan into turning against the royal family.

The letter is said to have emphasized the Queen’s belief that the Sussexes should have maintained effective security even after stepping down as senior working royals, which contradicts the narrative that the couple was cut off by the palace. This disclosure has fueled long-standing accusations that Meghan Markle has been the driving force behind the Sussexes’ controversial decisions, including their choice to step back from royal duties and their subsequent move to the United States.

Royal commentator Emily Andrews notes, “The Queen’s alleged letter seems to suggest that she believed Meghan was the one pulling the strings, using Harry to further her own agenda and damage the royal family’s reputation.”

The Sussexes have not yet officially commented on the alleged letter, but their legal team has been actively challenging various decisions made by the British government. Prince Harry has taken legal action against the Home Office over a decision to downgrade his security arrangements after he and Meghan stepped back from royal life in February 2020. Although the High Court ruled that the downgrade was lawful, the Court of Appeal has agreed to hear his challenge following a direct application from his lawyers.

This ongoing legal battle has only intensified the controversy, with critics accusing the Sussexes of using the courts to maintain their privileged status and secure taxpayer-funded protection even as they have stepped away from their royal duties.

If genuine, the alleged letter has the potential to further strain the already tense relationship between the Sussexes and the royal family. Royal historian David Starkey comments, “The Queen’s words suggest a deep sense of hurt and betrayal, which could make reconciliation between the two sides even more challenging.”

Public reaction to the letter has been divided, with some expressing sympathy for the Queen and condemnation of the Sussexes, while others have rallied in support of the couple, accusing the royal family of mistreatment and unfair scrutiny.
